Arriving at the gates of the Silver Roses Academy, accompanied by her mother, Reika held a large pack along her shoulders. She hadn't seemed to struggle with the weight with her athletic frame as she walked on calmly. Her mother looked like an older version of herself, appearing more regal and proud with long, brown silky hair. A slight tug caused her to stop, with her mother attempting to squeeze the life out of you.
"Oh, I love you honey. I hope your husband'll be a real keeper." She said in a artful tone. Reika rolled her eyes, and the action caused her mother to sigh.
"Reika, please. You knew this day would come. Try to behave, please? This is your chance at a great future.." She said, releasing her before stepping away.
"Your father would've come, if you didn't dress like one of those typical human hoodlums..." She mumbled. Reika sighed once more, rolling her shoulders lightly.
"I'll try." That was all she could muster at the moment. The thought of being married to a stranger still sent a shiver down her spine.
As her mother turned to leave, so had Reika. She hadn't looked back. Reika made her way into the auditorium, already becoming uncomfortable being indoors, and it hadn't even been more than a few minutes. She sat further away from the others, not so much wanting to be noticed at the moment to allow her displeased mood to settle down. She had hoped that this future husband of hers would at least be decent, however, if he pushed the wrong buttons, she knew ways of fighting back.
