just then Ulys walked into the cafeteria with his case with his flute in it. and looked for Bri and Cincinnati. he found their table and walked over and sat down in a chair. "hi you two. how was your boning time?" he said as he set his flute case in the table.

Bri grinned. "He's right here," she answered her brother. To Ulys, she said, "It was nice...we haven't been able to talk in such a long time." Suddenly, she noticed the flute case that Ulys had set down on the table. "You play the flute?" she asked, curious. She was big on music. We're talking super huge. She knew how to play just about every single instrument ever played and made, and she was a great vocalist. She was like a dog with a bone when it came to music - nothing else could grab her attention but the music.

Rei sighed softly as she stepped back into the school, she ahd taken a few days off since her mother was in the hospital. She shook her head some and brushed some of her hair behind her ear. "Well its good to be back..." she said softly and wlaked inside. She headed to her room first to put her things back in her room, she was also glad that she was still alowed here since she dissappered so quickly. As she started to put her things away her cell phone rang, she let her voicemail pick up so she could be alone for a while.

Cincinnati put the mouse down and then grabbed Ulys's flute case and opened it. "this doesnt look like a flute. just a bunch of pieces?" he said.

Ulys nodded. "yes i do. and that is my flute, its just out put together." he said. then he looked to Bri. "well im glad you two got your family time together." he said.

Bri nodded and smiled. "I love instruments," she said, still smiling. "Except it's like my own ADHD - I see or hear an instrument and it completely distracts me." Bri laughed and shook her head. "I guess that's what happens when you get bored over the ages and decide to play any instrument you can."

"i know what you mean. i started playing the flute since i was maybe 8 or 7?" Ulys said.

Cincinnati put the flute down and looked around for the mouse. he turned into a coyote and jumped off the table and went to search for his mouse/ meal.

Bri nodded. "I play mostly piano and guitar. They're the two that come the most challenging to me, so that's what I play." Bri smiled. "It's actually funny when you appear so young yet you can play something that was last played centuries ago."

Ulys laughed. "ya. but hey, with out music, there's no point of life. thats what my mother told me." he said. then he watch as Cincinnati trotted away.

Bri also watched as Cincinnati trotted away. For a second, she felt as if she should go with him, but she pushed that away. Cincinnati had survived for so long without her help - she didn't have to worry. She turned back to Ulys and smiled. "I wouldn't die if there wasn't any music - I would just go through the agony and torture of a soundless world while everyone else died around me. It's a bit sad, but at least I'd be there when music came back!"

just the Cincinnati came back with the mouse in his mouth and the tail sticking out. he jumped on the table. swallowed the mouse then turned back to human. "well ive had my lunch." he said.

Bri laughed and smiled when Cincinnati returned. Then she shook her head, still laughing. "Yeah, I'll be the one to bring it back all right. Only because I'll still remember it not matter what era it's from."
