Soul blinked, but she shrugged it off and walked back with him and sat down, sipping her water. She watched Demetrius eat and drink, and it made her smile for some reason. She ignored her mystified feeling, and continued to smile softly to herself.

Emily unconsciously ran her fingers through her hair when he added his comment. She quickly pulled her hand out of her hair and to her side when she touched Jace's hands. She looked away from him and said. "We need to head back to the school." She said with her normal stern tone returning to her.

Demetrius started to zone out but he continued to eat and drink. He felt his eyes grow distant and his body going on autopilot while he thought everything through and checked up on some things he had memorized.

Jace, slightly hurt that she immediately threw away the prolonging of the quiet forest, but he sighed inwardly, nodding in agreement.
"Yes, I guess we should." He pulled his hand out of her hair. Jace didn't want her to feel uncomfortable.

Soul started to play absently with her headphones, drinking her water. Soon Soul had taken them off, staring at the design in awhile, her soul vision immediately dropped in. This startled her awake more, and when she looked up to check on Demetrius, he was mechanically eating, drinking, and breathing.
"Demetrius?" She called quietly, waving a hand in front of his face.

Once they were at the woods edge, she turned and looked at him. She was serious but had a slightly awkward expression on her face. "What happened back there. You went from crazy to caring." She paused and tilted her head to the side. "Are you hitting on me in a slight way?" She kept her eyes directly on Jace's eyes to show she was serious about asking this and wanting serious answers back. She wasn't upset or anything, she was more confused and awkward.

Demetrius snapped out of it when Soul's hand appeared in his vision. He looked up and awkwardly smiled and said. "I'm sorry. I guess I zone off again." He looked at his water bottle, feeling himself zoning off again. He slightly shook his head to snap himself out of it. He was tired and was zoning out because he was unconsciously falling asleep. He stood up and looked at Soul. "Sorry, I'm tired. I'll be heading to my dorm for a night's rest." He said still awkwardly smiling.

Jace thought, his face calm but slightly confused.
"I....I don't know." His face automatically became more confused, he answered with truth.
"....Maybe...I..." He took awhile, thinking it through.
".....I guess I grew....grew to like you more, and I got..caught in the moment..." He scratched his head, blushing.
"I've never met someone like you though......no matter how cheesy that may sound." He chuckled.
"Have...have I ever told you that I'm a creation...." Jace hesitated, but he couldn't hold it in. Emily wouldn't understand util he told her how he was made, how he grew up.

Soul nodded.
"Yeah, of course. You've had a long day. Have a good night's sleep, okay?" She got up and kissed him on the cheek again, herself blushing.
"I think I'll go to my dorm too." Soul went to her chair to grab her fannypack and her waterbottle.

Emily blushed at him talking about how he grew to like her more. "oh.", was all she could say. She titled her head and responded to him saying he was created.. "How so?"

Demetrius walked to his dorm and closed his dorm's door behind him. He laid on his bed thinking what could have caused him to want to kiss her. He only saw her as a friend and nothing more. But Soul definitely thought of him as more. He tried the remember what happened at the pond but could remember a thing. After a while he ended up asleep.

Jace leaned against a tree, hands in his pockets, eyes on the ground.
"My, 'mom', I guess, created me with potion work and Vampire DNA. This gave me what I have now. Those vampire traits, that thirst...those silly fangs." He looked at his hands, chuckling at his fangs.
"She showed me off at these ridiculously top secret science facilities, where they were able to see how I was made, and made money off of me. This, I guess, kept us alive at home, but I was never allowed to school. I was stuck in our secluded forest, I was stuck with my creator. I studied biology, I studied vampires, I studied and learned. But I never saw another human being except my creator." He glanced up at Emily, but looked down again.
"My mom did eventually let me go around the forest, where I was able to do childish spying on farmers around our forest, but out of the forest of off limits. I finally was sent here to further my education. But, I still believe that she got tired of me and pushed me out of the way for a few years." He looked to the side, seeing the school.
"She didn't know that I made friends with a boy in one farm. At least it gave me a heads-up on how to act." Jace chuckled.

Soul walked up to her dorm, sitting quietly on her bed. Demetrius didn't seem to like her kissing his cheek so much.
"Maybe I'm being too affectionate...." She rolled onto her stomach, feet up and head in her on her hands.
"I guess he's getting a different idea of what I really think of him?" Soul thought a bit about the situation, but fell asleep reading a book later on.

Emily frowned and said. "In a way I was created too. They poisoned a pure blood vampire with weird chemicals and breed them with a half blood vampire. Thous I was born, I have abilities caused from the poison passing down into my blood stream." She felt her eyes turned back to there red blood lust color.

Jace searched her face, he felt extremely exposed. He didn't even tell the boy on the farm he was created. He felt....empty.
"I see...I'm glad I'm not alone." He tried to smile, but this time it failed. His face wouldn't move from his calm eyes and straight mouth.
