The Story

Dear Parent/Guardian,

Congratulations! Your son/daughter has been accepted into Japan's Shinya Academy, and we are extending a full scholarship. At Shinya, we encourage our students to learn and thrive in what they do best. If you accept our offer, your child will stay in a dorm with other students and have access to other areas of the school, such as the garden and the lake. We hope to see your child with us soon!

Yes, Shinya Academy does sound wonderful, does it not? Indeed, it has a nice side, but there is a dark side as well. Not many people know of this side, but all it takes is a little digging and then the truths shall be revealed. Many things happen there, not always good. Another thing that was not mentioned was that it's not only humans that reside there - everything from elves to demons and vampires goes to Shinya as well. Anything can happen at Shinya Academy, and it usually does....

The Rules

Yeah, everyone hates 'em, but otherwise there would be boring and chaos going on at the same time.

1.) No Godmodding. If you do this, you're out - no one likes a godmodder.
2.) Romance is definitely encouraged! All I ask is that you keep it rated PG-21
3.) Send me a PM titled Shinya with your profile and I will post your character.
4.) If you are inactive for an amount of time - say a week or two - without me knowing why, your character will be deleted.
5.) You can be any race you want except for a fairy or a pixie - those things are just too damn annoying.
6.) No excessive swearing. Let me clarify; no swearing every other word.
7.) Have fun. As long as everyone follows the rules, things will go smoothly and we can all have fun.

Bio: Bri had been in God's Realm since the beginning. One day, she had been roaming the earth when she saw a young man. He had been about to die, but Bri had saved him and helped him cheat death. When she returned to her home, God was enraged with her for disrupting the natural flow of life and condemned her to roam the earth for all of eternity. She joined Shinya Academy just for a change in life.

Her 'talents' were discovered when was real young and drew herselfs 'friends' that hopped right off the pages. When the scholarship was given to Lorie, her parents were reluctant, but happy to send their daughter to school to better her abilities.

Name: Maxwell Smith.

Race: fire sprite.
Bio: Maxwell always was shunned down in the underworld, especially since birth since he seemed unable to control just even the smallest flame. Finally tired of being picked on, Maxwell left the underworld for the human realm, to discover any possibility of being able to fit in there. However, once there he found he wouldn't fit in just because of his appearance, and he began to roam. While he was roaming, he came into a fight, and just on a whim he summoned fire; however, this fire was not white, nor red, nor orange. it was pitch black, the ultimate hell flame. From there he was taken in by a small family, and about a month later he recieved the letter inviting him to Shinya Academy. Hoping that this was a chance to make friends, he accepted and was sent off.

Bio: Colossus was once a great fight until we lost control of himself one night, slaying thousands he left a scar through humanity and found himself a place in history. To this day it makes him feel awkward when he sees his name in a book. Having been imprisoned for nearly three thousand years he had greatly humbled himself to where he is now a plesent person to be around.

Bio: Asa was transfer here on a full scholarship due to to progress in track. But at her old school she was the best one on the track team. Her parents were very proud. They heard this school was very good so they sent her here instead of all the other school's she got for it. Her parents know of her abilities and it doesn't bother them at all. Her mother herself has some abilities to. Asa has always been a very entergetic little girl. She is fun loving and loves pretty much everything. She has been going to this school for about a year now and has yet to discover it's secrets. This year she plans on it though.

Abilities: When his eyes turn scarlet he can see briefly into the future and knows what happens next. Wears black contacts to hide his eyes. The only time he is taken by suprise is when something he can't react to hits him.

Bio: Vincent led a pretty decent life.His parents' were kind to him and he felt happy.However,7 years ago Vincent's home was broken into by a couple of burglars in the middle of the night and his parents died trying to protect him by telling him to go hide in the closet in their room.Vincent was traumatized by the death of his parents and he had nowhere to go because he had no living relatives.He was placed in many foster homes but none made him feel any better.While in the care of his latest foster parents he received a letter inviting him to join the Shinya Academy.With the encouragement of his foster parents' he decided that he would enroll.

Bio:Ulys had a semi-rough life. at about 2 years back his dad blamed him for his mother's death when he saw his dad kill his mother, but sadly the officers didnt believe him. so he in jail for a month new his new step-mother bailed him out. but by then his dad die of a gunshot wound in a dual. and his step-mother never re-married. so when the letter came his step-mother said sure.
Crush:love is a feeling that he lost after his dad blamed him for his mother's death (he knows what the feeling is but dosent show it. so on one yet)

she gets out of her grandparents' car with her bags in her arms and her fox by her side. she waves goodbye, takes a deep breath, and starts toward the school.

Huffing and puffing, a boy's legs were practically going crazy as he peddled his bike as fast as he possibly could, his bag swinging behind him a bit dangerously. Swirving the bike a bit, he came to a screaching hault in front of the school's dorm building. Looking upwards, he blinked once and smiles to himself. His new home... and hopefully new friends would be coming his way. Grasping the bike, he began to walk to the dorms, planning on sneaking his bike into the dorm building if they didn't have a place to put it. He wasn't about to just abandon it.

The young lady had been at school for a short time now. She wanted to get there earily and made sure to give her parents quick goodbyes. All her things were dropped off in her dorm already. She chose to wait until later to unpack her things. In her hand she carried her journal. It was where she praticed her 'talent'. With slow steps she looked around, examining everything.

Bri got out of the taxi cab that had brought her to the school's front gate and she got her bags after paying the driver with a nod of thanks. She quickly found the dorm specified in the acceptance letter and quickly put away all of her things. At the moment she looked like a normal teenager - no black wings visible, skinny jeans, flip flops, and a black and blue layered tank top. Then she went outside to explore - she went to the garden first and sat on the stone rim of a pond that had late flowers from a nearby tree floating in the water.

she dropped off all of her bags in the specified dorm room and decided to explore a bit. "c'mon kaiou.." she called, and her fox and she walked around the school grounds, favoring the woods.

Just as he reached the outside of the dorms, Max decided it wasn't the best idea to go upstairs just yet. It was a nice day outside, and the first day should always be used to explore, so one wouldn't get lost when they finally had class. Finding a large tree, he proped his bike up beside it and reached out, giving the tree a soft stroke. even though he was a fire sprite, he grew attached to earth's greens as soon as he set eyes on them. Turning around, he ajusted the straps on his bag so it would stop digging into his throat. Letting out a soft sigh, he stuck his hands in his jeans and began to trudge forward.

With curious eyes, Lorie made a mental note of the school. Sure get a map would be easier, bbut this way was more amusing to her. She looked into empty classrooms and walked down empty halls, enjoying the peace she had around her.

Colossus slowly walked onto the schools campus earing a large black yukata the hung lightly from his left shoulder. " Very nice place, I think i may like it here." A light chuckle came from deep within him as he sat on the steps to the school. His ragged bone tail slowly lifted up his Yukata sleeve and laid it back over his shoulder.
