Caroline sat in the back, as nonchalant as ever. She had gotten there early, to be sure she got the best seat in the house - backmost row, dead centre, so she could get a good view of the scene. This was her fourth and final first day of school at Sekai No Mon, and she wanted to be sure she enjoyed every bit of it. The trick was not making it too obvious.
As she watched the students file in, she sat back in her chair, resting her feet on the one in front of her. She pulled out her nail file and started to preen her nails, feining a look of indifference as the seats filled in around her. Sure, she loved to strike up conversation, but there was nine months for that. For now, she wanted to observe all the fresh meat.
When the lights shut off, she didn't even flinch, although she was reminded of her first year. It had terrified her; it hadn't helped that her sister sat next to her, making sure she jumped at every occasion. Now it was a joke, in as many variations of the word as possible. Caroline had no newbies of her own to scare, so she was content watching things unfold.
When Allison took the stage I bowed and made my way to the exit. I had wasted enough time here, to much time dealing with these sniveling children; a mark of filth on an otherwise delightful world. Something I would remedy, one child at a time.
I walked across the mowed lawn toward the dorms where my present waited. I wonder if it's frightened; if it wishes that it had chosen a different school to start in. I laughed to myself lightly as I looked back at the auditorium. I was to good at hiding, smiling, pretending to be something more than a predator. I wasn't.
I passed the Janitor, who waved and went back to mopping. I was to busy getting to room 427 to think about responding.
Allison could take care of the rest, she was good at that. I would have my fun, dispose of the remains and then go about my business. My stomach growled, I wonder if I forgot to eat breakfast today. I do that sometimes, and it's important to eat well. I wouldn't stand for students that decided to pig out on sweets without balancing it out.
She stifled a sigh after she took a couple simple questions, but hadn't answered yet since some of them were basically repeated. So there were still common concerns not covered. Why can't Mr. Golash stay around and help me with this..? This is more his job... or more like, he left most of the things blank for me to fix... She took a quick breath to calm herself and address the students once again, since some of them were beginning to leave, and well Allison just can't let her duties left half-finished. "Before too many more of you leave to explore on your own, I realized there were some things I have missed. My apologies, but I'll be addressing them right now." Some students sat back down, while other didn't care and some never even left. A staff member walked onto the stage and handed Allison some papers and walked off just as quickly. "Alright then... concerning your dorm rooms, as I said, the keys will be provided, and as Mr. Golash has explained, the dorm room 427 is strictly off-limits. You can find the dorm room buildings once you leave the gymnasium, keep straight, and go to the outside fields where the track and field is. Stay to those outside paths and you should be lead to the dorm building. One student per room, and don't worry, they each have a full bathroom... however, there will be a large kitchen area for students to use if they have to time to prepare their own food. But we ask you to help keep a team effort to clean up once in a while. Our janitor... is really a hard worker and is honestly busy enough..." Allison trailed off with a light chuckle, looked through some papers again and cleared her throat. "We also have a cafeteria separate from this building close to the dorms for those of you who don't have the time. We also will have a couple food stands helping to contribute, but it's not much..."
Some brief silence as she skimmed over the details on the last sheet of paper, and gave the students a cheerful smile. "Also, as the principal has said, clubs may start immediately. With that said, the clubs I know of and can recommend are as follows: the Art club for those of you good with paintbrushes, pencils and the like; a martial arts club for anyone who'd like to learn, or have experience and like friendly sparring. Occasionally we have small tournaments, though it's usually by majority vote. We also have an agriculture club that is somewhat recent, so I'm sure new members will be welcomed..." Allison paused, taking a moment to think of the best way to close this little meeting. "Classes, again, won't be starting in about a day or two, so you have time to relax... but not too much! Make sure you have your schedule and your dorm room key safe. Furthermore, any new ideas for clubs are welcomed, and you may drop by my office if I am available. That should cover everything, so everyone may be dismissed!" With that, Allison took a breath and walked off the stage. The lighting of the entire building went normal, and the staff followed her out.

Arielle-Hana approached the school with caution. Strange stuff had been happening all over the school break and it felt worse when she reached the school gates like there was something bad emanating from the school. Aire decided that today was the first day back and she was going to try and ignore what she felt and get stuck in with unpacking her stuff and meeting new people. Arielle was about to head to the dorms when she remembered that thee was the speech to begin the school year so she followed the horde of student heading towards the auditorium. Hmm I wonder what they have in store for us this year? I'll be okay as long as it doesn't start happening again.
Aire walked through the doors and started looking for some where to sit close to the isle because she hated such big crowds. She found a seat about 5 rows from the stage on which Mr. Golash stood seeming to be extremely impatient Aire quickly sat in her seat her backpack at her feet and unzipped it to make sure Koda her stuffed bunny was still in there. Mr. Golash started talking and the lights were flashing on and off then there was normal lighting.
Arielle could only remember hearing that there was full bathrooms in your dorms and kitchen for your use. Arielle scurried from the building towards the dorms as quickly as the crowd would allow her, all she wanted was to unpack Koda from her bag so he was more comfy and have a shower. "Please be free." she mumbled to herself. "Room 415 please be free you're right across from the kitchen. I love cooking so please be free." Arielle made it to the dorm building where she passed room 427 and Mr. Golash was standing in front of it. "Morning Sir." She said as she hurried past. Aire made it to room 415 and sighed happily Yes it's free. Arielle was happy the room she wanted was free and she could unpack Koda and shower she reached for the handle and it was locked Damn it. Aire dumped her bag in front of the door and went looking for Mr. Golash or Ms. Hamada to ask where the keys were.
After a brief detour and gathering up the staff that had followed her out of the room once she was finished with the announcement, Allison headed straight for the directions of the dorms. She did say that the keys would be provided, but, apparently Allison is being almost as forgetful as the principal usually was. Although it felt like he skimped out on details on purpose. Allison's facial expression turned into a pout a moment. Again, the principal could be helping with this too... I didn't know everything was so disorganized! And I already had my hands full... When a random student approached about a room key, she smiled warmly and her or one of the staff members would hand the appropriate key over. The key's room number was engraved in the actual key. Any students that received their key by this means had already begun spreading the word so they can call dibs on the rooms they'd want. Allison considered telling the staff to spread out to cover more ground, but one of them might not have the key to the area they'd be in. I wonder if I should have asked Alfred to help out... mmm, but he's being so diligent with his cleaning, so I guess that's why I didn't ask... I hope the students saw the posters for directions on how to obtain their schedule also if they had problems getting it earlier... we did try to enroll in this mail program to mail it to some students who at least needed special classes or arrangements, but I have a feeling something went wrong. I hope there's someone posted at the help desk since we seem a bit understaffed today... With a light sigh, she continued doing her new duty, giving a smile to every student.
((OOC: So yeah. Forgetful... oops. Dang fog. And to anyone else posting you can just say you found her with the staff and stuff and you got your key. If the schedule info was needed that was put in there a bit also. ><; ))
I stood outside the door to 427 reveling in the feeling of excitement. In this room I had control, I was-
"Morning Sir."A girl behind me spoke as she walked past.
"Morning to you too." I gave her my best fake smile and went back to the door. Soon I would open it and smell that sweet smell of fear. I hesitated, perhaps I should wait until later, when students weren't roaming around.
My stomach grumbled. Dang it! My present would have to wait. I needed some food. I turned to head back down the hall, angry at the intrusion my stomach gave. I made my way to the kitchen, passing the Janitor again. This time he was washing tables and didn't look up to make any greeting. Hadn't he just been outside?
I grabbed a bagel and slathered it with cream cheese. Maybe I left the students with too little information. I probably should have stayed to at least make it look like I loved my students. I chuckled, the only students I loved were buried six feet under the tool shed behind the gym. They didn't know. Not even Hamada knew, and no one would ever know. Even if they did, I'd deny it. I was very talented with weaving a tale.
Mr. Heart let out a relieved sigh as he roamed down the familiar hallways of the dormitory. The welcoming of the students seemed to have been done rather poorly to him. Then again, by now, he should expect as much considering who the principal was. He shrugged it off, his mind moving on to a brighter thought. "A new year, a new start," he hummed happily for a moment, "...And that means one nephew to go help settle in!" A smile of pure delight with mischievous undertones broadened across his face. With no family of his own creation, Slythor mostly lived a lonely, quiet life. Therefore, to have a relation attending the school made him feel better as a whole person. As he merrily made his ways through the halls in search of his dear sister's son, his nose caught the irresistible scent of baked goods. He sniffed at the air several times, heaving out a sigh of fulfillment afterward. "You know, I think I'd rather eat first."
From there, Slythor followed the scent with his nose, his eyes closing every now and again to truly indulge on the sweetly made baked goods.

Arielle-Hana thanked the vice principal for her key and made her way back towards her dorm passing by the room 427 that they were told was under renovations. Aire stopped in front of the door to the room and wondered why she got a bad feeling when near this room. Arielle-Hana shrugged the feeling off and continued to her room picking up her bags and unlocking her door as she entered the room she was amazed at the size it wasn't a stingy little room with a single bed in the corner and no room for anything else it was decent sized. Wow I can move!! OMGOSH ENSUITE!!! Arielle loved that her bedroom had its own bathroom and it was neat and tidy and beautiful.
"OMGOSH Koda. I almost forgot you were in my back pack." Arielle opened her suit case and quickly made her bed she placed her favourite pale green sheets on and covered her pillows with matching cases then she gently laid over the top her purple blanket. "Here Koda" She said as she removed him from her bag and placed him gently in the center of her bed on her pillows that should be more comfy Shower or schedule? Arielle-Hana grabbed her phone, purse and attached her room key to her key chain as she closed her door and locked it before heading in the direction she came hoping to find her way to the reception desk or help desk to pick up her schedule.
Aire found the help desk with no problems she gave the clerk her name and grade in return the clerk gave her a piece of white paper with Arielle's classes Hmm wonder what classes I have Arielle thanked the clerk as she left the building finding a quiet place in the court yard to sit and read through her schedule.
After settling in, Strife lied on the grass outside in the court yard. He looked over his schedule one more time then folded it, placing the piece of paper into his pocket. A room key was in his other hand, which he lifted to further examine. Room 401...just the room I wanted this year. A small smile appeared as he began to think further on, his mind sorting through the possibilities of who would be his "neighbors" this year. Last year was rough for him, since there were only male athletes in his corridor. Strife isn't exactly the athletic type, so when the athletes hassled him about not doing anything, he tuned them out or sometimes even resorted to yelling just to have them leave him be.
Strife also recalled some of his uncle's actions and shook his head. He wasn't of much help either. Uncle Sly thinks he's so smart. Ugh, I hope he doesn't try helping again this year...
The male teen sighed, his thoughts wandering back to possible "neighbors". I hope I get a girl across the hall from me... A girl would be really nice to have.
Breaking from his thoughts, Strife noticed the girl who entered the court yard. Heh. Think of a girl, and one comes to you. Maybe this year will be different after all...
Strife stood up, making his way over to the girl. Hands went up behind his head as his body contorted into a relaxed position. He stopped, standing to her left. "Uh, hey," he chuckled out, "Are you new by any chance?"
With a sigh Addison stretched and stood. Might as well go get his room key so he could settle in and nap for the rest of the day. Then again he had to go figure out his classes for the year too. Everything seemed so disorganized compared to last year and disorganization kinda pissed Addy off. He made his way over to the Vice Principal and waited in line for his key. "Good day, may I have my room key?" He asked softly once he made it to the front of the line. Once he got his key and figured out his schedule he lugged all of his stuff to the dorms. Room 418 would be his domain for the year. Hopefully when he finished with it it won't look like the boring old standard dorm room. He just had to be careful not to get chalk, paint, or pastels all over the place. He considered the art club but it seemed like a waste of time. Addy wasn't a people person anyway.
The pink haired girl hummed a tune of happiness to herself as she made her way down the halls, room key in hand as well as a schedule sticking out of her pocket. She took a chunk of a bite out of a muffin in her other hand, contently chewing the baked good then swallowing it down. Unmei came to a stop, looking to the room labeled 401. Her eyes switched to its opposite wall, seeing the number 402.
She clicked the key into the door's hole, cheerfully entering while shoving the rest of her muffin into her mouth. Unmei dusted her hands off, placing her bags down. Her one bag wasn't exactly a normal bag though. In fact, this one in particular was an oddly colored stuffed bunny with only one long strap stitched on to it. Its back contained a zipper compartment for storing items as well. "I guessch dis ish ouwr pwace for ta year, Mistah Bun-Bunshs," she muffled through a stuffed mouth, then swallowed, "But that's just fine! I'm sure there'll be plenty of friendly people here."
She gave a short, vigorous nod with the utmost confidence, adding a, "Mmmhmm, mmmhmm!", along with it. She then turned to her other bags, unpacking clothes, necessities, and a handful of school materials. Although this place was new to her, she could hardly contain herself for whatever surprises laid in her way.
Halfway through my marvelous food, I heard a thump on the table next to me. Looking down I saw a stack of fliers for the annual Billy Trommle Bonfire; A school tradition that has gone on for years. Superstitions turned to tradition. I HATE students.
"You need to hand these out, or get a student to do it."It was the Janitor. He sneered at me like I was some kind of bug. Yet, he was mopping the floors and I was getting paid while I ate.
"I'm busy eating." I took a bite of my bagel
"At least make it look like you do something around here besides sit around."The Janitor stalked away.
"But that's Allison's Job." I pouted as I stood and grabbed the fliers. Time to hand these off to some student.
I made my way back to the auditorium and walked up to the first young student I saw. She was a young lady with black hair and she looked like she was relaxing, just watching things. She was a returning student, so she probably already knew of the Bonfire.
"Young lady? Would you please go to some of the students and hand out these fliers please? It's be very much appreciated." I smiled and held out the fliers.

Arielle-Hana was so caught up in her own thoughts about her classes and schedule that she did not see the other student in the courtyard as she entered. Let alone notice he was approaching her. When he spoke she was quite startled and embarrassed for not noticing. Aire looked up with rosy coloured cheeks and smiled "Oh uhmm, hi there. You startled me" She stated then blushed again hmm he is kinda cute I wonder what his name is."Uh yes I am new to the school, I'm Arielle-Hana by the way but you can call me Aire if you like? Who are you if you don't mind?" Arielle was nervous she only spoke with boys while at work she never interacted with a male student before. She tilted her head slightly to the right taking in his dark eyes and hair.
