"It seems I was lost in my fairytale again. If only I wouldn't keep getting found..."

Everything I thought I knew
Changed the day that I met you
All night rides & fake tatoos
I thought we were so ---- cool

I'd get right back on the aeroplane
The Greyhound bus, the subway train
If I thought it'd ease the pain

ßεℓℓα quickly glanced around the hallway before entering the school. Sanctuary Academy... even the name sounded like something from a fairytale. She quickly sprinted to the office in silence, wanting to find her room as fast as she could. As she ran, her bags hit her lightly on her calves making her stumble with every few steps. She soon arrived at her destination, but not before she took note of a few students near. Some seemed perfectly normal, others well... she'd just have to observe them carefully. She stopped to watch her fellow peers for a while before deciding to enter the office and obtain her room

Everytime I look at you
I forget what I'm s'pposed to do

I could turn around
And walk away
It'd break my heart
But who's to say
You'd notice anyway

Cole turned a faint shade of pink at the man's conclusion that he was a twig and he would be piling on the academic and computer classes. Cole was very academically oriented, but he did not like the stereo type. That and the academic classes were frequently neglected during his bouts of depression. He nearly got kicked out of school for poor grades after he fled from the shelter of the Catholic church. It was not until he spent more time with his sister that he recovered enough to refocus on his studies. Claire glanced at Cole as she heard his thoughts, a slight line appearing between her eyes.

Claire turned her gaze back on the man and returned her smile to her face. "Yes, we've already chosen our classes," Claire replied calmly, sounding only slightly distracted as she kept her connection open with Cole. Her brother was slightly irritated and embarrassed, but too much of a shy person to say anything to this stranger. "The butterfly is going to be taking some art classes, but that is only because our father won't let me take any more athletics. He thinks I will wear myself out. Also, I'm not into drama, and Cole isn't into computers," she explained. Of course she thought that this man was not treating them properly, but she merely ignored that and pretend like they were having a pleasant conversation.

It was then that Claire felt a slight thump in the middle of her back. It felt almost like a medium sized bird had struck her. Unlike her brother, who would have been frightened by the sudden touch, she did not jump but merely turned around and curiously looked down at the ground. She blinked when she realized that it was a fairy like creature, something she had only read about in books before. "Sorry!" it squeaked up at them and stood up, dusting itself off. Claire tilted her head to the side, partially because she was trying to fully comprehend what she was seeing. Cole merely just stared.

"It's alright. Are you okay?" she asked, kneeling down and getting more or less on the fairies level. The girl did not reach her hand out for him, but merely looked at him as if she were checking for injuries. Cole remained where he was, although he did take some of Claire's bags so that she could kneel down better, without being unbalanced.

“Woah there, kiddo. If I meant to make you two mad I'd be there already.” Lifting a hand and making a calming gesture, Nova wasn't in high enough standing to go having students complain about him. Apparently his comments had also hit a nerve; that had been the constant goal when he was their age, but now he had other things to consider. Like the fairy that had just run into them.

"Mortimus?" Holy crap! The guy really was a fairy! Nova'd been convinced when Samuel said 'fairy' he meant like an elf or some other fey, not a genuine bonified fairy. It was sort of creepy... Nothing against fairies, Nova'd just had a particularly bad set of experiences with one in particular. Back to the topic at hand however; "Where'd you run off to last night?Last time I checked-" WOAH, STUDENTS, STUDENTS.

This job sucked...

"-I checked you were saying something about Class lists..." Lame recovery was very lame, the teacher actually looked disappointed in himself.

Ϛamuel contused to dust off his cloths, how is it when in this form dust just seemed to flock to his tiny form, or maybe it was just that he could see it a bit better, probably that more then anything else. Then he noticed that there was a shadow looming over him and he jumped a little his wings fluttering as he looked up to see the girl kneeling down in front of him asking, 'Are you okay?' Samuel nodded nervously half tempted to take a few steps back, why did people have to be so bloody large? I mean really why couldn't they be normal sized like him in this form.
"Yes I'm fine, it takes more then that to hurt me, trust me get run over by a truck then its something to worry about." Samuel said absentmindedly as he ran a hand though his wild hair that never seemed to corporate, then he crossed his arms over his chest to cover up the fact that his left arm was currently throbbing from how he had hit her, not that it wouldn't be healed completely in a hour or two, it wasn't like it was a brake or anything else, like that time he had been thrown into a wall in this form and his shoulder and elbow had come out of there sockets that had hurt a lot worst, then again so did getting squished by a truck.
'Mortimus?' Ah crap he was recognized. Oh well, maybe now he would believe him when he said fairy, didn't seem to the first time, seemed to think gay or maybe he was lieing, though of coarse they had both been drunk off there arses in the pub at the time. 'Where'd you run off to last night?Last time I checked-' Samuel gave him a look to say if he contused that sentence he would personally make sure the ground swallowed him hole, they were in front of students for bloody love of the queen of Fairy what was the man thinking, they couldn't talk about there antics here and now of all places the headmaster would ring there necks and then suck them dry. '-I checked you were saying something about class lists...' Well it was a stupid recovery that made no real sense but it worked for now and Samuel gave Nova a look that said 'later he'll tell him where he went, and the bit of trouble he managed to get into before the Headmaster had found him' Then he looked at then girl again before answering to keep there cover of doing things there suppose to as teachers.

"Yes checking classes lists and the I left you abruptly to go find mine to work on, which I need again so I know whos in my class tomorrow." Samuel said his wings fluttering so he would start to fly slowly upward to around eye level clutching his arm carefully as he smiled at them all. "So that means heading to the office, you two going there for your dorms keys and schedule?" Sameul asked them trying to lead the converation somewhere other then what happened the night before.
    ((

Out of sight. Out of mind. Out of time.
To decide. Do we run?
Should I hide? For the rest of my life.
Can we fly? Do I stay?
We could lose. We could fail.
In the moment it takes to make plans or mistakes.
Either way, options change, chances fail, trains derail.

Arthur walked along one of the coridors that would lead him to his office, which now suddenly he didn't feel quite like going to. He wanted a distraction, one that would be more distracting then paper work, it was to bad he already had the nights feast speech done or that might have been a very good distaction. He turned and wandered down one of the hallways that would lead him to the east dorm wing. He might find someone lost on the way that he could help. No such luck so far though.
He glanced around the bright hallway, there where suites of armor down this one and they seemed to shine and at random they would move which could be entertaining the first free times you see it happen or have someone else see it happen but at the moment it only made him want to sigh. Which he did a second later as he turned down yet another hallway. Not quite paying enough attentions to this hallway's contents he manged to walk right into someone, nearly fallowing over but he managed to catch himself, and he found himself looking at Desdemona his Drama teacher, didn't she say at last nights dinner that she needed to speak to him? Maybe that would be the distraction he needed at the moment to stop thinking about... William... Right, start talking then, conversation is always a good distraction.

"Oh, I'm sorry Miss. Desdemona, I didn't mean to run into you like that, my mind was else were." Arthur said politely, putting one of his fake smiles that no one yet could tell was fake because he never let them close enough in to, and it was better that way, kept him from getting hurt. "I was just on my way to my office, where might you be headed? I know that you said you had something you wanted to discuss with me last night." Arthur said just trying to grasp at some sort of conversation, to keep his mind from wandering even a little bit, didn't need to start crying or brooding, it was bad enough he did earlier no he needed to think about the school and his duties that was all.

She couldn't remember exactly what had broken her nap. Perhaps the slight chill in her room had gotten to her, maybe it was the fact that a small amount of drool was forming on the wood finish, or it could have been the fact that her mental alarm clock was buzzing in her head. The reason didn't quite matter for Elizabeth. The fact was, she was awake. And not in her bedroom. Which really wasn't any surprise for her. To prepare for the rest of her day, Elizabeth let out a yawn and shook herself awake before she got out from behind her desk. She had been working diligently on the assignments since 5 in the morning. Of course she had not checked on how many students (if any) were taking her class this year. Her classes last year had been incredibly small, so she had spent most of her time last year organizing meetings for the game club. Her attire was merely a pair of jeans and a nice blouse. Enough to fight the chill of the incoming cold, yet not too overdone to the point where she would die of a heat stroke in the end of fall.

Her classroom in the academy was not only filled with the cliche motivational math posters, but cute little comics that she had found in her free time. Some involved video games, others involved math. Either way, Elizabeth had a nice variety of things hanging on the walls. She looked around before walking up to the whiteboard at the front of the class. She grabbed a black dry erase marker and wrote her name in a bolded handwriting. "Ms. Odoya." And for kicks she drew up a small lingo board with the letter S in the starting block. Of course she left one wherever she ended up going. She carried around a pen to write them on cafeteria napkins, sometimes they even made their way onto the back of a test or two. The lingo board to Elizabeth was like the letter Z to Zorro. Elizabeth then took a step back to admire her handiwork. She decided to leave the lingo board up in case anyone decided to walk in. She wouldn't mind the company.

What else did she have left to do? Elizabeth was certain she was forgetting something. The click of her heels could be heard down the hall as she paced her room, racking her mind for what she was forgetting. She had lesson plans, she had her name on the board, her room was left as it was the year before. The drool had even been wiped off of her face. Perhaps it was the fact that she needed to get a class roster? It was difficult to prepare without a list of students to work with. Elizabeth gave a quick nod of her head before drawing up another quick lingo board on a piece of paper, locking up the doors to her room, and pasting the board for the students to occupy their time with. This time the board had the letter E in the starting block. She smiled with satisfaction as she admired the perfectly even board. It contained five rows and five columns, making a checkerboard pattern, with the word Lingo written across the top. "That'll do, my good man. That'll do." Of course the comment was made to no person other than herself. It wasn't her tourettes speaking, but it was a good excuse if anyone decided to walk past her.

She debated on heading to the office as a bird. It would have been a lot faster, but if she ran into anyone along the way, she wouldn't be able to stop and make conversation. She decided she would walk. And walk she did. Her heels could be heard clicking as she headed down the many hallways and staircases of the academy. Elizabeth didn't mind. She merely hummed to herself. The song didn't have a name, it was an aimless tune that Elizabeth had made up. As her walk continued she sighed and thought to herself, 'Odoya, you are quite the oddity.' She couldn't help but smile the rest of her trip.

|| ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ •☽ Ƹ̵̡Ӝ̵̨̄Ʒ ☾• ▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬ ||
Narendra just about had Koschei calm when a girl with cat ears walked into the office. He shifted Koschei pulling him with him over to the side of the office so that the girl could get to the counter not saying a word to her at all as she tried to get someones attention because Koschei had stiffened against him at the sound of others around him. Narendra really needed to get Koschei to there dorm room. The problem was he had no idea where it was, and he didn't need to get to lost, not with Koschei depending on him utterly and completely.
Koschei shifted against Narendra his body riggied as he looked over at the girl with his dark near black eyes, the only hint of other color in them at the moment was the golden flecks he would get when he looked into someone without meaning to, or into a place, or time, to see the universe shifting around them, moving continually with curtain points that are fixed in place and others that consistently change the variables of it were so astounding it was surprising the universe even held itself together but he knew why the facts held the weight of the other events. Making this vistion of the universe possible along with so many others around it the parallels the choices not made, the choosing of left instead of right, or the different of only one single word, they were so close to this universe yet so very far. It was to bad his brother couldn't see it, he had the wrong dna though, not quite enough Gallifreyan blood mixed in to make him more of a hunter, hunters shouldn't exist in Gallifreyan susity but he did, he knew it was a rarity and why he was so very good at killing when he did kill, probably why he had the drums pounding away for him to do things, but then again it could have been something else interly.
He sniffed the air around them just a little, he could smell the girl, he sniffed again, human of sorts, not not quite human, he sniffed a third time his eyes borring into her, Yes he saw now Neko smiler to humans in many ways but not quite human. Interging but unwanted, it wasn't his mate sent, it wasn't calming at all, and he needed the calming to know that it was his mates sent or maybe someone to be trusted enough to become friends with. No not this one not yet, she wasn't right yet. Koschei barried his face against his brother's neck again. Narendra would get them moving if he acted scared, so he started to tremble making a faint whimpering noise in the back of his throat.
Narendra watched his brother look at the two and sniff and then hide his head against him. Narendra held him just a little tighter moving carefully and grabbing there bags as he shifted Koschei so that he could hold him wile walking them out of the office and down the hallway, they pasted thoses people again, and Narendra paused to maybe talk to them holding Koschei close so that if he got to scared he could keep him in control. Though Narendra felt him stiffen again, so it was to many people for Koschei to handle right now, so he shifted him against and started to walk, wandering the hallways trying to find the dorm rooms, though they soon were in front of another person a women that looked to be a teacher, Narendra stopped and waited for her to get to them before he would talk.

Elizabeth continued walking down the hallways humming softly to herself, the smile remained in place. She was enjoying the walk, it was cool, and the sound of her heels clicking against the tile floors made her feel like quite the professional. She was glad she took the longer way, it could not have been this pleasant if she was a bird. The quick flaps of her wings would be much to distracting to fully enjoy anything around her. Though the occasional chill she could do without. Perhaps she could borrow a jacket from someone, or even stop back at her room before heading back to her classroom. The dormitories weren't that far from the office area. And Elizabeth was amazingly neat, making everything easy to find in her room. Unless she didn't want you to see it. Then you would have an issue finding it. (Elizabeth liked to keep her dirt where it belonged)

She didn't quite notice the two boys headed in her general direction. The noise of her heels was too amusing for her to notice much going on around her. But once she did get within hearing distance she let out a nice "Hello." She noted that one boy was holding the other tightly in his arms. She would have guessed that they were lovers if she did not notice the strong resemblance between them. The boy that was being held. He seemed quite sheltered, he must have been younger. Elizabeth also noted the fact that the older one was quite protective of the other. They also shared another common factor. They both looked lost. "You two look a bit LIKE RIPE ORANGES ON A TREE." Elizabeth's eyes went wide. Her tourettes had the habit of striking at a very horrible times. She probably scared the poor young boys out of their minds. "I'm sorry. What I meant to say was that you two looked a bit lost. Did you need any help?" She had an apologetic look in her eye, she hadn't meant to shout like that. Especially in the echoing halls. The sound of her voice must have traveled quite far.

After pondering it for a bit, she realized that she hadn't even introduced herself to the two young men. "Oh, and I am Ms. Odoya. I teach Algebra 2 here." Another smile grew on her face. Hopefully she had one of the two in her class. She felt as if she could befriend them. Or at least convince them that she wasn't completely insane. Maybe they would join the game club. But then, the possibility of her not seeing them in class or in the club was highly likely. Regardless, she was still happy to help them now.

Narendra smiled juat a little as the women said a nice hello in a pleasing tone as she drew near to them, she seemed nice enough and it might be good to ask her for some help finding there dorms. Though that was only if Koschei didn't become scared of her. Hopefully that wouldn't happen. 'You two look a bit LIKE RIPE ORANGES ON A TREE.' The women said suddenly and Narendra jumped slightly startled and then looked taken a back, what was that suppose to mean? He could feel Koschei stiffen against him again making a slightest of whimpering noises and Narendra made his hold on him just a little firmer, hand stroking down the younger ones back and gently rubbing the back of his neck to make him calm down. He didn't know what this lady weird saying was about but he did need to protect Koschei from getting scared and possibly hurting her or himself.
'"I'm sorry. What I meant to say was that you two looked a bit lost. Did you need any help?' The woman had said then and Narendra raised a eyebrow at her slightly, wondering if she had some sort of problem mentally.
"We need to find our dorm rooms in the East wing." Narendra said softly feeling Koschei start to calm down again, he glanced down at the younger boy to see him peaking out at the woman with a curious gaze in his black eyes.
Koschei sniffed the hair and then twitched, she smelt like a bird this woman, what was up with that? he sniffed again, Hummingbird... Shapeshifter maybe? He didn't know so he spoke up pointing to the woman like a little kid and said.
"Bird?" In a hushed tone before clinging to his brother's shirt once more, staring at the woman as she spoke up again. 'Oh, and I am Ms. Odoya. I teach Algebra 2 here.' Koschei glanced up at his brother.
Narendra nearly sighed when Koschei pointed to the woman and said bird in a questioning tone of voice, instead he gently hushed him and looked at the woman as she introduced her self to them.
"Sorry, I'm Narendra Lungbarrow and this is my little brother Koschei Oakdown. I don't think we have your class Ma'am." Narendra said softly not wanting to pull out his schedule just to check that, but he was pretty sure they didn't in less his father changed the list he sent to the school for them both to take but he doubted that very much.

Joan had always loved the first day of school, even as a student. There had always been some extra electricity in the air, a nervous hum of excitement. Students would be abuzz with gossip about summer romances and scandals, and newer arrivals would be off to the side, twiddling their thumbs as they attempted to adjust to a new environment. Now that she was back in that same environment as a teacher, Joan noted that there hadn't been many changes at all. There was still that same anticipation. That same, uneasy transition back into school life. The main difference, of course, was that Joan had the authority and the power to ease or worsen the situation as she wished. And was it really that horrible that Joan loved it? She did have a sadistic streak, but after all, she wasn't one of the more dangerous Gifted at this school.

Blinking herself back to reality, Joan stepped away from the window of her classroom (a formality more than anything else, she preferred to teach in the field) and walked to her desk. Stacks of papers were neatly organized, a book to take attendance sat there waiting to be filled. Unfortunately, Joan had yet to receive the list of students that would be taking her class. Lips pursing out of habit and mild annoyance, Joan tapped her fingers along the surface of her desk before whisking away towards the door. She'd just check on the office again. See if there were any more students who signed up to take her class. Surely the student body wasn't so new that there wouldn't be others qualified to take on Level III.

The walk through the halls was calm enough. There were a few students here and there that passed by her, some not even sparing the teacher a passing glance. It didn't surprise her. She probably could pass as a student. A small, sly smile flit across Joan's expression as she entertained the idea of tricking her future students into thinking just that. It wouldn't be the first time. That and it gave her a valuable amount of insight on the potential of each individual student. Just as Joan began thinking of whether a bit of tweaking to her appearance was needed to pull such a feat off, a shout echoed through the hallway.

Figures. Joan laughed a little to herself as she approached the group in the middle of the hallway. One of the students Liz had been talking to jumped, obviously surprised by the woman's outburst. Sighing, Joan decided to drop by on the situation and see if her fellow colleague needed any help. Moving to the side of the school's resident Algebra II teacher, Joan swung an arm around one of the much taller woman's shoulders and leaned against her. "I knew something was wrong when you woke up on time today. Preparing your next Lingo masterpiece?" Turning then to the two students, Joan explained apologetically.. "You'll need to excuse her. She can get a bit eccentric at times. I'm Ms. Ayre. Do you need any help or is this more of a one-person kind of job?" Joan asked with a smile, the latter portion of her speech more directed to Odoya than to the two brothers.

She noted that the younger looking boy jumped back with her orange comment. Elizabeth was now visibly embarrassed, she didn't plan on saying it. She didn't even know what it meant. She mumbled another apology before she heard the younger boy whisper something, what was it. "bird?" It appeared that the younger one had caught sight of her shape-shifting ability. It wasn't a surprise, though most usually asked about her unusual hair color before figuring out that she could turn into something like a humming bird. Elizabeth couldn't help but let out a slight chuckle at the comment. He seemed to be quite the intuitive young one. She tried to ease his nerves by giving him a warm smile, one of the motherly variety. She hadn't planned on scaring him. But her tourettes loved to mess with her speech at the most odd times.

The older one spoke of the east dormitories. She knew where those were, she recalled having to supervise them every once and a while last year. Of course she could show them the way. It was a little off of her intended course, but if it was for the sake of a student (Or two) she would go along with it. "Such interesting names you have there. Narendra, was it? Pleasure meeting you. It's a pity you don't have my class." She tsked at the thought. She had a feeling in the pit of her stomach that not many people were going to be enrolled in Algebra 2. Then again, she could always devote more time to the game club. If there were any members in that club this year. It was funny how her two loves had been neglected over the past year. Hopefully this one went in a much nicer direction.

Elizabeth was about to lead the two boys down the hall and to the east dormitories but someone decided to show face and put her arm around Elizabeth's shoulder. "Hey there, Joan." Elizabeth let out a small smirk when the woman made a comment about her waking up on time. "Just because you always wake up at 5 Am doesn't mean I have to. And both of my masterpieces have been finished." Of course the two lingo boards Elizabeth had posted on her whiteboard and door were only the first of many lingo boards to come. The day was still young, she had time to think up at least five more.

"I think Tourettes makes me a bit more than eccentric, don't you think?" Elizabeth gave a slight pout and looked at the shorter woman. Joan was a master of mind games, and Elizabeth was usually victim to a good majority of them. Even with small comments like that. Of course Elizabeth didn't mind, they were formally introduced last year, and were roommates this year, the friendship the two appeared to have remained strong over the summer break. "You are more than welcome to come with us. I'm showing the boys where their dormitories are." She motioned for all three people to follow her down the hallway, her heels still made the clicking noise as she walked.

Always laughing in the midst of power,

Always living in the final hour,

There is always sweet in the sour,

We are not goin' home.

All the people that he see in the night,

Hold their dreams up to the light,

The old beast is searching for sight,

We are not goin' home.

Narendra heard Ms. Odoya speak up softly a warm smile on her face, 'Such interesting names you have there. Narendra, was it? Pleasure meeting you. It's a pity you don't have my class.' Narendra nodded a little at this choosing not to say anything as he watched a figure of another woman approach them and then swung an arm around the other woman, Ms. Odoya, she was much shorter then the teacher that introduced herself to them, and she leaned against her like someone who was well acquainted, it was interesting to say the least. '"I knew something was wrong when you woke up on time today. Preparing your next Lingo masterpiece?' The new woman said mostly to the other one before looking over at them, he could feel Koschei stiffening up again. 'You'll need to excuse her. She can get a bit eccentric at times. I'm Ms. Ayre. Do you need any help or is this more of a one-person kind of job?' the woman, Ms. Ayre, asked them with a soft smile and Narendra smiled back just a little. 'Hey there, Joan.' Ms. Odoya said to her with a small smirk on her face, 'Just because you always wake up at 5 Am doesn't mean I have to. And both of my masterpieces have been finished.' Once Ms. Odoya was done speaking he spoke up.
"We're just looking for our dorm room is all, ma'am." Narendra informed the other woman softly, she had to be a teacher by the way she was acting or at least thats what Narendra thought, hopefully he was right or he would be very confused by the two's behavior. 'I think Tourettes makes me a bit more than eccentric, don't you think?' Ms. Odoya contused and Narendra wondered that they were even talking about now, it was almost as if they walked up on a privet conversation.
Koschei stared at the other woman once she was in view, his black eyes started to glow softly with golden flecks again as he stared at the two. The bird was giving him a warm smile, he like that smile just a little, it reminded him of that nice lady that cleaned his and Narendra's rooms when he came to live with them. He sniffed the air again clinging tightly to his brother's shirt. The new one was human, with power, but still human.
"Ape." Koschei mumbled faintly wondering if this would be one of thoses more stupid ones that the drums seemed to think needed to die, well for the most part from what he could tell it was the ones without powers that needed to die, though the drums were now roaring in the back of his mind so loudly if he hadn't have been gripping his brother's cloths he might have fell to the floor, he gritted his teeth slightly turning his face so it was partly barried against his brother again breathing in the sent of him to try and calm the drums down, but it didn't seem to be working at the moment. Much to his annoyance. He started to tap their stupid four beat rhythm against Narendra's chest, the stupidest thing about it was it was just a tad faster then Narendra's and his four beat rhythm of there bi cardeal vasitory system.
Narendra glanced down at his brother worried at the feel of the drum beat being tapped against his chest, gently stroking his back and massaging the back of his neck gently. He hoped the drums weren't getting loud, he didn't want to have to go in side his brother's mind to quiet them again so that these people before him wouldn't get hurt, though it was only a temporary thing, it would be taken out on him later, but Narendra was used to that and as long as it kept others from being hurt he didn't mind having things done to him, though it was only until he could find a way to perminately quiet the drums.
'You are more than welcome to come with us. I'm showing the boys where their dormitories are.' The taller of the women said and this made Narendra look up and he say her motioning for them to fallow her as she started down the hallway. He glanced down at Koschei one more time before shifting so they can walk and Narendra could still hold the other boy, not wanting to let him go if the drums were getting loud, because it could lead to something bad.

I arise from dreams of thee,
And a spirit in my feet

═════════════════════════════════════

I ARISE from dreams of thee
In the first sweet sleep of night,
When the winds are breathing low,
And the stars are shining bright.

O lift me from the grass!
I die! I faint! I fail!

═════════════════════════════════════

On my lips and eyelids pale.
My cheek is cold and white, alas!
My heart beats loud and fast

Desdemona almost lost her balance when she was bumped into by someone. That someone turned out to be the headmaster."Oh its quite alright Headmaster" she said with a kind smile."Oh I was just on my way to pick up my room key and papers from the office.Ah yes actually I was just thinking about that.I was thinking for this years drama production we could do Phantom of the Opera. We could discuss it for a longer time if you don't mind waiting for me to pick up my stuff from the office."she said politely. As she spoke to Arthur she wondered why he always seem so distant from the rest of the staff members.Everyone always tried to cheer him up, but it seemed as though there was something always making him so sad.She thought of him as a strong person to be able to hold in what ever he was so sad about for so long.'Perhaps one day he'll be able to confined in someone about what he is so troubled about.'she thought. She would like to help him but that's only him he would let her.She would not push it if he did not feel about talking about it, after all you must first seek to understand then to be understood. However Desdemona would ask him what was on his mind and that would be all. " Headmaster would you mind me asking what was on your mind that had you so distracted?" she asked out of common concern.

Out of sight. Out of mind. Out of time.
To decide. Do we run?
Should I hide? For the rest of my life.
Can we fly? Do I stay?
We could lose. We could fail.
In the moment it takes to make plans or mistakes.
Either way, options change, chances fail, trains derail.

Arthur contused to smile his polite fake happy smile as Desdemona said, 'Oh its quite alright Headmaster.' She smiled back at him one of her kind smiles that she ways gave him sense the first moment she met him, it was probably why she highered her, thinking it would make her good for the children that came here. 'Oh I was just on my way to pick up my room key and papers from the office.' She contused and Arthur nodded mutely at this seeming to be holding himself sightly straighter out of habit his arms moving behind his back one hand clasping the other lightly, 'Ah yes actually I was just thinking about that. I was thinking for this years drama production we could do Phantom of the Opera. We could discuss it for a longer time if you don't mind waiting for me to pick up my stuff from the office.' She contused and that brot a half real smile to his face.
"Phantom of the Opera sounds like a lovely idea, and I think we should do two productions this year so maybe we could discuss the other as I walk you to the office." Arthur said softly giving her a half smile, ah he was finally distracted enough not to think about him, a brief relief from the constant lull of sorrowful emotions, it only he could find something more perminate to keep his heart occupied so the hole in his heart wouldn't be constantly throbbing and present in his chest. He turned so they could start to walk and he would be along side Desdemona as they walked.
'Headmaster would you mind me asking what was on your mind that had you so distracted?' Desdemona asked suddenly, making Arthur stiffen a flash of hurt and deep sorrow flashing in his chocolate colored eyes before it was quickly covered up with a blank expression which managed to make his eyes so dark they looked black as he looked over at his drama teacher.
"It was nothing of concern really, just a few thoughtful memories distracting me for a moment or to was all, nothing to worry about." Arthur said briskly wanting to get off the subject wile not being to rude. Flashes of William flooded his mind again and he looked off down the hallway, his body standing close to her's but his mind very very distant.
