It's the letter you get in the mail every year around this time since you joined high school. All psychic children are required to attend this boarding school. They have different schools in Osaka and Tokyo for elementary and middle school. They only put them in the different major cities so the others wouldn't find out. The others being the normal people. The ones who aren't special like you. The school you attend is in Nagoya, Japan. They make the parents think you're just a smart kid, getting a scholarship to go to one of the prestigious schools in Japan. But you're not. It's not a private school, but it does take a lot of funding, what with all the "extra facilities" they have to maintain. It's just a special word for the chain of underground rooms they use for the psychic classes. Of course they have to hide them. You wouldn't want the government finding out. They'd just use you for your powers, and you wouldn't be a human. You'd just be a tool. Easily disposable. Sometimes you wonder what life would be like if you weren't special. Maybe then you didn't have to stay in schools far from your family. You could make friends who weren't so... Different. You could have a family. You wouldn't have to be constantly hiding, in fear of what would happen if someone found out. Maybe it would be easier. But you'd never get to know.

»Your characters; They must be psychic. No normal humans. And they must be human. No demons, no nekos, no whatever. They're all humans. no mary-sues. As in, no klutz who are super nice and everyone loves them and they're smart but act stupid. No one is like that in real life. Make them realistic. Make them have faults, dreams, everything. Don't make them super moe kawaii desu. Just because they're in Japan doesn't mean they're all like that. Everyone is Japanese, or has lived in Japan for at least 3 years. No foreign exchange students. Remember, this isn't a normal school. Also, everyone was born with their abilities, so no one just randomly got them after they fell off a roof or something.


»Your profiles; These ones are simple. Don't alter my code, anime pictures only, (I recommend zerochan.net). Try to make them as clear as possible, pm me the profile with the title as your character's psychic ability. Wait for me to approve it before I tell you can post it.

»Your posts; Try to type at least 1 paragraph per post. A paragraph is 5+ sentences. More than one paragraph is fine. Type in third person. I.e. "She walked to the store". Use proper grammar. Capitalize the first letter of your sentence, put periods, question marks, or exclamation points at the end of your sentence, if it belongs there. Try to spell correctly. I'm just asking you spell the easy words right, and if you don't know how to spell it, google it. Make your posts pretty. Include at least your characters name, and a picture of them. And for the pictures, try to make them at least look like the same person. I don't want a green haired chick in your profile picture, and a picture of a pink haired girl in your posts. Also don't make a post of just ooc.

»Other stuff; Obey gaias TOS. Keep it PG-13. If it gets to sex, take if off of gaia, or time-skip. Be nice to everyone. DON'T IGNORE ANYONE. If someone ignores you, pm them and tell them your character talked to them or something. If they ignore your pm, then tell me and I will talk to them. If they still ignore you, i will delete their character. I don't like being ignored. It's hurtful, I'm sure you wouldn't either, so try to read ALL THE POSTS so you know if someone is talking to you. I think that's about it!

»3 tardies = a detention. If you skip detention. the principle will talk to you.

»No sexual behavior.

Types of psychics.


Animal Telepathy - The ability to communicate with (but not command or influence) various kinds of creatures. Think "pet psychic".

Aura Reading - The ability to see the energy fields that emanate from living beings. Psychic ability can often reveal itself throught the seeing of auras.

Empathy - The talent to sense the needs, drives, and emotions of another. As with Aura Reading, psychic ability can often reveal itself through the development of empathy.

Levitation - The ability to cause one's body to hover off the ground. One of the more well-documented cases of levitation involved St. Theresa of Avila during the 16th century.

Precognition - Quite simply, "knowing the future". However, since time is a dynamic construct, no one psychic can ever know every detail about the future. Usually this ability refers to knowing general outcomes of specific courses of action, with occasional flashes of detailed insight.

Pyrokinesis - The ability to start fires with one's mind.

Telekinesis - Also known as psychokinesis, the ability to move objects with one's mind.

Telepathy - The ability to communicate mind-to-mind with another.

Intangibility - The ability to walk through objects, such as walls.
