"Oh lord. Save me from this wretched place." the boy muttered as he watched his welcoming committee set up the hallways. The school was decked out in its school colors with tinsel, balloons, and of course a welcome back sign which Aaron had spent one whole day on. Not by himself though. It was only 7:15 in the morning and the poor boy was already stressing himself out as the brand new student council president. An annoying sensation began to enter his mind which would sooner or later turn into a major headache. "No- No! It has to be straighter!-- Come on! You call yourselves the welcoming committee? Shouldn't you be working instead of talking about men? Aish." the first part of his sentence was directed to the two males who were hanging the banner. The second part was for the females standing around chatting about who would be cuter, and all that crap that Aaron would rather not have to listen to.

"Sorry..." the girls replied in unison before giggling and going to do their actual jobs. This didn't stop them from the conversation they were having though. It wasn't even a minute that had gone by before they started that ruckus back up again. Atleast they were working this time.

'I could really care less about the sale at Victoria's Secret. Ugh. Women and their odd shopping obsessions.' in reality, the boy really couldn't argue because he was exactly the same. The Asian boy was just as bad as an actual female. Aaron absolutely loved going shopping for new clothes. Wasting money like it was water was a guilty pleasure for the man. His room was filled with tons of things that he liked, but never even used. Aaron pulled out his PDA, soon becoming drowned in it. He was busy inputting all kinds of new events and reminders for himself. He shifted his weight onto another leg as he continued what he was doing

"Aaron?" one of the guys called from the top of the ladder. The president couldn't do anything but unglue his eyes from the device very reluctantly. "Is this alright?" he continued, getting ready to staple it into place after Aaron's approval.

"Alittle bit more to the left.- More.. Just a tad bit more.. Alright Stop!" the two guys quickly stapled it and got down before Aaron got any second thoughts. Little did he know, the banner was in the exact same place when he accused it of being crooked "Alright then. Sorry guys. I just wanted to get this done quickly. If you feel offended by my bossiness I apologize. But you did elect this." he joked before scratching the back of his head. "Just get rid of the ladders and you may all go. Have a nice first day." he sent them off politely before wandering off into the school courtyard. Soon it would be filled with familiar, new, and happy faces greeting friends, starting drama, and possibly finding new crushes. All Aaron planned on doing though, was stand there and watch all the soon-to-be hustle and bustle of the courtyard as it occurred first hand. That, and maybe talk to people who wanted to speak to him.

The screen went white for a moment before a large print of black colored text appeared on the screen 'Your report has been submitted' Somewhere out there was one more person who disliked the girl with so much rage that they felt as if they had to spread it to the whole online community. This sparked rage within the young girl. Who did they think was going to take the time to read something as pointless as that? She reported it out of irritation, knowing it was the only thing she could've possibly done. Personal problems is what the Asian girl called things like these. Sure she ratted out people on a daily basis, but that didn't mean that every single problem in her life was told to an adult so it could be fixed. No, it was never like that. There was a fine line between personal problems and social problems.

Who was this Korean girl? Well her name is more than obvious; she is Amy Lee. A tiny little thing, with a 5'3 stature. If she was any shorter, other students would think she was at the wrong school. She had dark brown eyes and chocolate brown hair that was straight for a few inches before curling orderly, ending at her back. Amy was like a stick-bug; if she was any smaller, she could be snapped in a moments notice. Her skin was tinted very lightly, something she liked to call 'Moon-Kissed'. And. Well. There was nothing that set her aside from any other girl at the school. She didn't have the beautiful model look, or even the nicest curves. Wait- Amy didnt even have curves to begin with. For a junior, the girl didn't look her age. In the sea of highschool students, she wasn't as easily seen as the football or basketball jocks. In fact, majority of them were the people who hid her in a crowd. They were her barriers when she wanted to be hidden. She was a girl who had to be careful in the hallways, because there was always someone to prance at her. Amy was prey waiting to be caught in the jungle that school was. Most of all, the girl was a teachers pet.

Amy was sprawled out on the floor, with lots and lots of crumpled wrapping paper. These were the remnants of all the failed attempts at wrapping her gifts.  Who were these gifts for you ask? No, not for her friends, but for her new teachers. She liked to think of it as a welcome back to school gift. One that she knew would assure that she would be treated well for the rest of the year. A frustrated grunt escaped from her lips when Amy realized that the had messed up the wrapping once again. "Ah. Forget this already. I'll just put it in a bag." she used her dainty hand to fix her hair as she placed each present into a bag, one for each teacher. The presents weren't too large, just something thoughtful for them to know that she appreciated them being able to teach her.

Amy very well knew she was a threat. It wasn't a popular type of threat though. Not the ones who everyone wishes they could befriend just to stay on their good side. It was the kind of threat that nobody liked in the first place. She was what people liked to call a teacher's pet. Yes, she was and Amy couldn't quite deny it. The Asian girl was always chosen to hand out papers, always chosen to deliver things out of class and almost always given advantages before the rest of the class. In return she gave the teachers plenty of smiles, quality work, and exactly what they always wanted to hear. This made other students either one of three things ; angry, jealous, or neutral. It wasn't her fault though. Ah who was she kidding. It was her fault; both hers and her parents. They had teached her to always tell the truth, and that's exactly what she was doing right? It consisted of telling the truth at all the wrong times. The door behind the young girl closed with a small click behind her. From where Amy was standing, school was in her range of sight. "Off to school I suppose!" she smiled before leaving the safety of her home.

"Ah-! Good morning Ms.Jenkins, I hope you're having a splendid morning! Your new haircut looks really lovely on you." the girl spoke as if her words were laced with the most fine silk the world had to offer. Compliments like these rolled off her tongue very easily. For others, it would be awkward.

"Thanks sweetie, have a nice day at school" the older woman responded before waving goodbye. Amy had known the woman for a very long time; they had a fairly well relationship with each other since they were neighbors.

It continued like that with any of the adults she knew, all the way to school. When she finally arrived, the girl looked up at the school in front of her with a spacey look on her face. School never failed to amaze her. Behind the walls of the building had so much knowledge that Amy still had to learn. A huge smile plastered on the girls face as she practically skipped into the gates of the school. She stood there very confused though, not quite knowing what to do now. It wasn't like she had friends after all.

Emily woke up to the sound of her parents fighting again. In the Blackwood home, no one seems to need an alarm clock; Everyone wakes up to the sound of screaming, fighting and stuff being thrown and broken. "Great..." She groaned then got out off bed. She figured that the sooner she got up, the sooner she'll be able to leave this hell hole she calls home. Emily got her clothes ready, it's always the same thing anyways, jeans and a tank top or T-shirt and converse or vans, it changed depending on her mood. Today, she honestly couldn't care less. Emily hopped into the shower. The hot water felt great on her cold, sore body. Her shower was fast since she wanted to leave soon and she got out and dried herself off. She found the razor she hid in a box of band-aids behind the mirror. She was tempted to slice it right through her skin and, hopefully, hit a vain.... She shut her eyes and brought the razor to the wrist. "Emily! We're leaving in five minutes!" Mrs. Blackwood yelled. Emily jumped at the sound of her voice and put the razor back in her hiding place. "I'm coming!" She answered and sighed. For as long as she could remember, Emily has always thought about how she would kill herself. Recently, she tried to overdose on some pills she found in the medicine cabinet... She ended up in the hospital and now her parents trust her even less than they already did. When they found out that she used to cut herself, they wouldn't even trust her with safety scissors.
She straightened her hair and applied some eyeliner and her favorite shade of red lipstick then threw on her jeans, T-shirt and her vans. She grabbed her pack of cigarettes, lighter, her water bottle full of vodka and shoved them in her backpack. Now that she was for sure ready, she ran out the door and to the car where her mother was waiting.

The car rides were usually either long and awkwardly silent or long and full of fighting. Today, luckily, it was quiet. She enjoyed the silence, that's why she roamed alone; She didn't want to hear other peoples' drama and fighting, she got enough of that at home. Also, the silence gave her time to think. "All you guys do is fight..." She said quietly without thinking. Her mother learned to ignore all her comments since she knew that Emily usually just spoke her mind without thinking. "Emily..." Her mom said her name meaning for her to shut up. The rest of the ride was quiet and when she got to school, she slipped out without saying goodbye.

The first day of school was like any other day except there was more hugging and people running to each other like they hadn't seen each other in years. It was almost funny. Emily walked by different groups of friends hearing the same conversations about how summer break was and every corner she turned there was a couple of horny teenagers eating each other's faces off, but that was nothing new. She sipped on her vodka and chucked a deuce up as she walked by the school principal, knowing that later she'd be sitting in her office. She smirked and walked over to her locker, avoiding eye contact with anyone, making contact with someone apparently makes them think you want to talk to them. "Seven, Twenty-one, Thirty-one." She quietly whispered the locker combination to herself. She shoved her backpack in there and kept her "water" bottle in her hand. 'This is gonna be a fabulous year...' She thought as she took a sip of her vodka. She spotted the teacher's pet. She didn't know her name and didn't bother to since they had no classes together. All she knew about her was what she heard and what she heard was... Well, she hasn't heard good things about her so she kept her distance. Emily walked over to the the office to pick up her schedule and headed over to her first class, not bothering to get her backpack since she they'd either do the whole class introduction thing or someone would piss her off with something as simple as the sound of their voice and she's walk out. Either way, her backpack wasn't need. She purposely bumped into some preps and into the teacher's pet. If anyone said anything about it, she replied with a "Watch where I'm going." as she smirked and walked away, drinking.

'Beep! Beep! Beep!' went Fae's multicolored alarm clock. She rolled over turned it off and just laid in bed for a minute. 'Got to get up. Got to get up,' she thought to her self as she threw her paisley sheets off of her and sat up. 'Big day today,' she thought as she smiled and got up to change. She put on her favorite black and white shirt, a pair of light wash skinny jeans, and black sandals. By then her mother was at her door. "Fae are you up?" her mother said as she knocked on her door. "Yeah I'll be down in just a sec," she said as she heard her mom's retreating footsteps. Fae brushed through her shoulder length brown hair, then looked in the mirror. 'Is today a makeup day or not,' she thought to her self as she examined her face. 'Nay,' she thought, 'after all who do I have to impress.'She went downstairs grabbed a granola bar, said bye to her mom, and went to the garage. She got in to her salsa red Bettle and drove to school.

Once she was there she found a spot that wasn't to far from the campus and parked. She grabbed her white purse and baby blue folder, before she closed and locked her car door. She walked through the school to the office picked up her schedule, and went to find her class.

Everyone out there were people who she found majorly annoying. When she walked past a group of girls, she heard whispers. The whispers turned into laughs, and suddenly a red haired girl walked right into her. She stumbled quite a bit while trying to keep her balance. Now, Amy fell right into a trap. They might've planned this, because now she was standing right in front of a group of the upper class girl.

"Look who it is.. Teacher's Pet" a girl muttered towards Amy. The friends who were around this girl laughed, thinking it was the funniest thing in the world. But in Amy's mind, she thought it was lame. See, what she never understood was why all these popular kids laughed at nothing. It made her curious to find out why they laughed at these dumb comments.

She knew this girl very well, of course. Anyone who spoke about Amy were usually people she had been in class with before. To make matters even worse, this particular girl was a cheerleader. "Look who it is!" Amy snapped back in a teasing tone. She didn't really care what the cheerleader's response would be. "I wonder which part of you has become plastic over the summer?" she stated fairly loudly before walking away, leaving the cheerleader frozen in her place. Amy didn't dare look back either as she paced fairly quickly away from the group. It was one thing to insult someone but a totally different situation when you insult someone and they want to fight, and Amy certainly did not want to fight. She pushed and shoved through the crowds of students. Eventually she re-met eyes with the redheaded girl who had walked into her earlier.

Amy unsteadily shifted from one foot to the other. "Thanks for bumping into me earlier. Because of you I got to face the wrath of the b***h-cheerleader." she lightly joked "It was a nice experience and a bad one all at the same time. I finally had the opportunity to insult her.. So sort-of thanks." she mumbled idiotically to the girl. "I know this might not be important to you, but I'm Amy. Or A.J depending on what sounds better"

Emily continued drinking from the bottle while the teacher's pet, Amy, kept talking. While still somewhat paying attention to what she was saying, she took the time to study her. The way she stood, the way she dressed, and the way she talked. That girl was definitely not someone she wanted to talking to. "Yeah, well, next time I'll make sure to bump you harder. Maybe you'll fall on your a** and tell of some other loser."She laughed sarcastically and rolled her eyes when she introduced herself. "Well, 'Aj,'"She said with air quotes,"You're right. It's not important to me, but since you introduced yourself I guess it'd be rude for me not to introduce myself and... We all know how I hate being rude." She bit her lip and took another sip from her vodka. At this point, she was feeling a bit buzzed and decided it'd be best to stop. After all, the last thing Mr. and Mrs. Blackwood needed to hear was that their rebellious, suicidal daughter has been caught with alcohol on campus. "I'm Emily." She stood with hands on her hips, waiting for the girl to walk away. In her head, Emily went over how she'd take Amy down if they ever got in a fight. It was just something she did whenever she met or talked to someone. Even with the shoes Amy was wearing, she was still shorter than Emily. "Easy..." Emily accidentally said out loud what she meant to keep in her head. It always happened. "I meant it's that easy to call me-" She was cut off by someone bumping into her. 'That's my thing.' She thought to herself and exclaimed, "Yeah, watch where you're going, a*****e!" Emily noticed it was that kid she had some classes with, Beau. She rolled her eyes and yelled after him, "By the way, it's Emily!" She wasn't sure if he could hear her since she noticed he had his headphones in, but she had to just get it out and, even though she was positive he couldn't see her, she flipped him off anyways. Emily rolled her eyes and groaned. She'd probably see him anyways in class... She could get her anger out then.

7:17 the clock read before Yumei zipped up her bag and threw it in the back of her mother's Honda. Just before she shut the door a high-pitched voice called out,"Eonni!". Yumei turned around to see her little sister running towards the car, standing up she walked over to the little 6-year old, " What is it Jennifer?" she asked in curiosity. " I never wished you luck!" her sister replied happily giving Yumei a hug. Yumei hugged her back, " Thanks." she replied messing up the little girl's bed head and climbed back into the car.

Yumei waved at the rest of her family, that was by the door. When the house was out of sight her excited attitude disappeared, ' It's only sophomore year' she thought staring out the window watching the trees move by. Freshman year for her was terrible, she wasn't social and didn't have very many friends, so when she'd arrive at school she wouldn't have anyone to talk to. She sighed and pulled a stray thread from her outfit. "Yumei." a voice said." Yes mom?" she replied, not wanting to hear what she had to say. " Don't get caught up with friends and stuff, you'll only regret it in the future..." her mom began to say, "... Also you have your music theory test after school..." her mom kept talking, but Yumei stopped listening after a while, " Oh... and good luck." her mom concluded as the car pulled up to the school.

Yumei climbed out of the car and waved good-bye to her mom. ' And so begins ...hell' she thought looking at the school. Some students were already hugging as if they hadn't seen each other for years, others getting closely acquainted with their crushes, and the freshmen searching for their classes. Where did she fit in with all of this? No where. She wandered over to the courtyard and pulled out her schedule, ' History... Where is that again?' she thought trying to remember.

At least Amy attempted at being nice for once, but I guess that didn't work with everyone. Because this girl seemed to care about whatever was in the bottle more than her, she decided that she would soon walk away. Her sarcasm was nice to hear though; it was way better than the rude remarks that she tended to receive from other people. "I'll look forward to that. I wish that they would leave me alone sometimes though. Maybe if I looked as intimidating as you do..." the last part of her sentence drained off into nothingness. "I like your shirt too." she mumbled not too loudly. As kids passed by, Amy decided to put on a scared facial expression to make it look like Emily and she weren't having a conversation. She guessed that Emily was a rebel; someone the school would be afraid of. Sure, Amy was afraid as well, but she wasn't as good as showing her emotions as other people did. Her brown eyes traveled back down to the water bottle in her hand.

"Soo.. Do you like it? Eh- What is in the bottle to be more specific." as she tilted her head to the side, Amy observed the contents so she could guess what it was. From the way Emily was acting, she guessed that it was some sort of alcoholic beverage. "I like Mandarin Blossom.." she whispered in an almost inaudible voice. Her last best friend.. Well let’s just say that it was a long story. But she snuck the vodka into her house one night, and the two of them had gone through the whole bottle by themselves. It had a very intense flavor though; a creamy texture that soon turned into an essence of flowers. It smelled of mandarin and orange blossoms, and Amy remembered this all too well. She shook her head and looked sorrowfully back at the girl as she scolded the boy who bumped into them ”I’m sorry, I must be seriously wasting your time. I- I won’t say anything about it though, trust me.” with a slight smile, the girl turned off to walk away.

Amy sort of wished that she had more time to speak with Emily. The girl seemed to have something going on for her. If Amy was raised differently, with a new set of parents, maybe she would've been a whole new person. She would have lots of friends and there wouldn't need to be any worry when she walked through the halls. But everyone knew that it was too good to ever be true.

OOC: Click on the photo to see her outfit ^__^

His mother usually left for work right after he left for school, but she was usually in her room taking forever getting ready so they never saw much of each other, and his father is usually at the office working so he never see him. As he got downstairs Victoria was already downstairs making breakfast. As she went to the fridge to get the juice she saw her beloved brother coming down, she smiled at him warmly, "Morning Oppa*!" she, like him was a morning person and greeted him happily. He smiled back at her and sat down at the dining table. "So what's for breakfast today Vic? He asked as he pour juice into a glass a took a sip.

Victoria slid six eggs onto a white plate and placed them on the table in front of Jace. "Eggs, We haven't really gone grocery shopping in a while, so this was all we really had in the fridge." she said as she walked back into the kitchen and placed placed the frying pan and spatula into the sink. "I'll grab some stuff on the way home from school today, so don't worry about it Vic." he replied to her as he grabbed two eggs from the plate and piled in onto his bowl of rice. He scarfed down his food and gulped down his glass for juice. He placed his dished into the sink, turned on the faucet and washed the dished that piled up. After he washed dishes, he walked over to Victoria and ruffled his fingers through her hair and gave her a quick hug. "See you after school!" he laughed and dashed off after messing up his sister's hair. He grabbed his bag and guitar case and proceeded out the door.

He threw his backpack into the empty passenger seat and placed his guitar case into the back seat. He drove off towards the school. He arrived early as usual. He grabbed his things, locked the car, and headed towards the music room. Since most of the students arrived just as the bell rang, he liked to have the room to himself, and even ask a few pointers from Mrs. Anderson. He peered in the small glass window of the music room door to see if anyone was in yet. It was still empty, well, except for Mrs. Anderson. He opened the door and quietly walked in. Mrs. Anderson heard the door opened and looked up to see Jace. "Good morning Jace, It's good to see you early again, as usual." she greeted him and continued playing her song. He slipped his guitar out of it's case and strummed the chords to make sure it was still tuned. He started to play Davichi's Don't say goodbye, humming along to the tune.

It seemed like the quicker the sun rose into the sky, the more people rushed into the school. In his honest opinion, he thought the way people reacted towards eachother was as plastic as some of the girls in this school. Who was ever so happy to see someone on the first day? I mean Aaron could understand if these girls hadn't seen eachother in a long time, but it had only been two months. Some people had the tendency to be so overdramatic. Especially the popular girls at these schools. Over the good fifteen minutes he had been standing there, he heard comments like 'Oh my god, he's so cute now!' and 'You should totally go talk to him.' he stared at these girls in disbelief, but they didn't pay much attention to him though. He found himself finishing his schedule for the month on his PDA. Almost every day of the week was full. Except for Mondays, Today, and the weekend. Most of the plans wouldn't take up too much time though; they were just minor tasks.

"Hey Aaron..?" the call of his names startled him. He unglued his dark eyes from his PDA, seeing a large group of girls standing in front of him. From the school-colored ribbons in their hair, and the itty bitty skirts, he concluded that they were indeed some of the cheer squad. They were probably over here to bug him about the unsolved "Uniform Crisis" from last year.

"Yes, How may I help you?" he asked curiously. He took the time to look from girl to girl, seeing how they all looked so different. Rosewood was indeed a diverse community full of lots of different people. But even though it was diverse, he couldn't deny that the neighborhood was a small one. From what he could see, there were only a few new faces in the school. They went into whining about the cheer uniforms. He wasn't quite listening to them though, because he found it sort of annoying. "But the budget. You guys can't exactly afford to buy so many uniforms". He could see their faces turn into quite vicious ones. "But-! Wait! Don't get your spandex in a knot. IF you really want to have uniforms that bad, why don't you have a carwash? That will have to bring in a good sum right?" wide smiles painted on the faces of the girls because they knew very well that a carwash would be a profit; the guys would spend alot especially.. that was just the way their minds work. "Look I've got to get going now, but I'll see that it gets approved for you guys alright" he heard a few thank yous before walking away.

The boy's attention was captured by an Asian girl who looked fairly confused. As student councile president, he felt like he knew the school the best. Because of that, he was driven to help her with whatever problems she was having. It was like Aaron was a welcoming committee on his own. "You look lost." he blurted out as he stared at her. He was pretty sure that he might've startled her, because the way he said his words sounded a tad bit rude. "Ah- Where are my manners. I am Aaron Kim, student council president of the school if you didn't know already. Is there anything I can help you with?" he held out his hand during his introduction, just as his teacher had taught him to do. She often mumbled on and on about how a good, firm handshake left a lasting impression on a person.

Yumei pushed through the crowds trying to find the classroom. She stared at the outside of the building hoping she could figure out the room by the decorations. No luck. She checked her schedule again, hoping it would have room numbers. Once again, no luck. She began to play with the tips of her hair; a habit when she was nervous.

"You look lost." a voice came from behind her. She turned around to see Aaron Kim. Aaron was the kid everyone knew, after all he was elected student body president. She also recalled him being a sophomore, although she figured he didn't remember her. She looked around to see if he was indeed talking to her.

" Oh- I'm Yumei." she replied softly, taking his hand. She looked down at their hands rather surprised at his handshake. Tucking a stray piece of hair behind her ear she looked back up at him, " I-I'm sorry, but... do you know where the history classroom is?" she asked hopefully.

A friendly smile appeared on Aaron's face. He figured it was the best thing to do so he wouldn't seem like a total creep. He wasn't anywhere near a creep's status though. "I hope I didn't startle you though," Aaron was always told that he scared his fellow council members by showing up when they least expected it. The only reason it was scary though, was because they were all too busy not doing what they were supposed to do. It was one of the funnier things about being student council president. That, and the fact that his Vice President was older than him.

"Oh- I'm Yumei" is what the girl finally said, when she decided to speak.

The name sounded fairly familiar to his ears but he barely could remember the people in his classes from last year. "As much as I want to remember who you are, I sadly don't, so I apologize.." he took a hold of her hand and shook it firmly before letting both of their arms fall back to the side. "Well, either way it's nice to meet you. Oh! And don't be offended if I forget your name a few times, I'm bad with names." It was ture; Aaron never liked having to memorize names because he found it quite embarassing when he couldn't remember if he introduced himself of not. "Expect this whole introducing scenario a few more times. But I doubt I'll forget." or atleast, he hoped he didn't forget.

"I-I'm sorry, but... do you know where the history classroom is?"

Aaron's eyes looked down at his schedule then back up at her. "I have history as well. Do we have the same class?" he asked curiously before scanning around for what might be a piece of paper in her hands. "Either way though, I will show you to your class before I head to mine.". Aaron looked around the halls as the population occupying it seemed to increase. "Best advice to you though; Get to class before the bell rings, or you'll get stuck in all of this" he motioned towards the students who were standing behind him. The group was talking to each other so loudly, that half the school could probably hear them.

Fae kept glancing at her schedule as she walked through the court yard. 'You'd think that I would know where all of the classes are by now,' she thought to herself. She walked down one of the hallways to where she thought her English class would be, but still could not find it. Fae saw an old teacher of her's and decided to ask for help. "Excuse me Mr. Bryan. Do you know where this English class is?" she asked as she walked up to him and gave him her schedual. "Oh hello, Fae. I believe the class is down the next hallway," he said as he looked at her schedule and gave it back to her. "Okay thank you. Have a nice day," she said as she walked away.

She did as she was told and found her class with no problem. 'Well I have a little time to kill so I'll just go say hi to Miss Ciara before class starts,' she thought to herself as she went towards the Art and Music hallways. As she walked in to the hallway she heard guitar playing coming from one of the music rooms. 'I wonder who's playing that,' she wondered as she walked over to the door and peered through the glass. She saw a boy who looked a few years younger that her playing a song that she wasn't quiet familiar with. 'He looks like he's having fun,' she thought as she began to tap her fingers on to her leg.
