Rivalry to Romance ((O/A!!))

One solution

The Problem
Two high schools, one filled with nekos the other with kitsune though both have plenty of students of other races, have had a harsh rivalry since they were created. Both have a martial arts focus making this rivalry violent and dangerous. As of yet no students have ever actually been killed in the rivalry but recently there were a couple incidents serious enough to hospitalize students of both schools. Before the rivalry can escalate completely out of control the principles of both schools got together to come up with a solution.


The Solution
Five randomly selected students from Luna Academy (the mainly neko school) will attend Rose Academy (the mainly kitsune school) for one month. At the end of this month five randomly selected students from Rose Academy will then attend Luna Academy for one month. At the close of these two months the process will begin again and repeat for one full school year. With this process the principles hope to ease tensions a bit, build positive relations even.


The Story
You will play as either one of the five nekos forced to attend Rose Academy for a month (and yes all of the transfer students from Luna will be nekos) or one of the students of Rose Academy most of which are kitsune. There will of course be a lot of tension and resentment between the two groups to begin with but once they get to know each other who knows? Perhaps a bit of romance may blossom between the nekos and the kitsune.

Rules

1. keirei and I are gods of the RP as well as your principles, in other words you had better listen when you tell you to do or not do something or else got it?

2. Follow gaia ToS (seriously I shouldn't even have to tell you that).

3. Yes the students can all fight and the two schools pretty much hate each other, but please, don't kill anyone. In fact unless it's gym (aka fighting class) there shouldn't even be any fighting so, ya know, don't get caught wink (no but seriously don't kill anyone).

4. Send your profile to me in a PM labeled "The Rivalry Will Survive", wait for it to be accepted or not, if it is accepted you may then post it here. If you post your profile and I have not seen it or worse if you post it and I have in fact rejected it your profile will then be deleted, you will be reported and then blacklisted. This shouldn't be a difficult concept people. And no posting it in the main thread that's just annoying.

5. OOC is to go in [[]] (()) {{}} etc. and excessive OOC that is not accompanied by a post is to go here so as not to clutter up the main thread.

6. This is not a text between friends, full words and sentences please. Use "abc" for speech (bolding is nice but not required) and -abc- or even better -abc- or something similar for thoughts is appreciated. Do not put actions in ** this is not texting its writing please learn the difference.

7. On a similar note please try to write at least three sentences per post. I'm sure you can do much better than that but knowing we all have our bad days I'm putting this rule here. One liners are annoying and give people nothing to work with. Writer's block is understandable of course but if every post you make is one sentence long it's no longer writer's block it's just annoying.

8. No godmodding (unless someone is going away for a while and gives you permission to control his/her char in the mean time, I must be notified of this, by the person who is giving permission) and no autohitting, this should go without saying but some people seem to think they can do whatever they want so I'm putting here so you know YOU CAN'T GET AWAY WITH IT.

9. No flamming, no trolling, no hating, you got beef with someone you take it up with them personally and not drag the whole RP into it, if it's a problem related to the RP you come to me about it before letting it escalate out of control and consuming the entire RP in a fiery whirlwind of hate and rage.

10. Don't cuss excessively, it's annoying, and quite frankly just makes you sound stupid if all your character ever says is "*** **** ** ***** **** *** ****** **** *** *** ***** ***** ****** you and *** **** ***** ******* *** *** **** with a rusty spoon". A curse or two now and then is understandable but really people, don't make me break out the thesaurus and beat you over the head with it.

11. I know there's gonna be some romance, as it is half of the point, and I know they're teenagers and that they have co-ed dorms, but please, spare the potential young naive eyes wandering the forums and if anything gets that far (and you know what I mean by that don't even pretend you don't) either time skip or take it to the PMs, thank you.

Both schools are actually laid out about the same, this makes adjusting relatively easy.


School



Dorm

You may decorate your room as you see fit, assuming you and your roomie can agree. When you first walk into your dorm the bedding and curtains will be white, there will be no tv or computer or games, you can supply those on your own. The chair for your desk will be a plain wooden chair, you may supply yourself with a more comfortable or fun chair but again you have to do that on your own. If you want bedding or curtains that aren't white bring your own. Dorms also each have their own simple bathroom, the door to which cannot be seen here because it by the other bed opposite the one featured in the picture.

If you're going to redecorate the common room you and your suitemates must come to an agreement.

If you want to use it you'll have to buy your own ingredients and things.

Tama sighed as she stood infront of the Rose Academy. Her ears twitched a bit as she heard the other students filing in, though she payed little to no attention to them. She could almost feel the dirty looks some of them gave her.

It was about two weeks ago when she had been informed that she along with 4 other Luna academy students would be transfering to Rose academy. The reason for this was to try and build good relations between the two schools, though she was beguinning to think this was going to be harder than the principles thought.

She sighed again as she pulled out the paper with her Dormroom number and her class schedual. She would feel alot better if there was atleast one more of the other Luna sstudents with her, but she didn't see any of them yet. She shook her head as she started heading onto the campus looking for the Dormatories and praying she didn't run into trouble along the way.
