『 The Andriod 』/////xxxx
She kept to herself for the majority of the drive to her new school. It wasn't from the jitters like most normal kids, but from her downloading all the material that she knew that they'd like. Jersey Shore, zombies, Batman and Robin, The Velveteen Rabbit--everything that she had read about children her 'age' were supposed to like. Most of it she didn't see why they enjoyed it so much, but Lantis wouldn't question it, after all organic creatures were always mysterious like that. The young android had just finished up on updating the necessities when her creator spoke up. Her eyes fluttered open as she caught his gaze, slightly saddened that she couldn't catch what he had said. "Pardon, Father?"
The man, whom was close to being in his fifties by now, gave the girl a kind smile. She didn't hear a word he had said to her, but that was alright in his book. Besides, he wasn't doing much but going on about how much she had grown in the past few years. "Oh, nothing," he sighed happily. "I'm just going to miss you, Lantis." His creation returned his smile. "Do not worry, Father," she said softly, "I will just be away for eight hours. You should use that time to sleep; I heard you coughing all night, so I know you really need it." Maxwell let out a chuckle. She would be gone for much longer, but he knew she'd find a way to contact him as soon as classes were over. "I'm sorry for that. I didn't know that you could hear me all the way in your room." The man paused and gave her a look of confusion. "Since when did you stop shutting off at night? You know it's the most effective way to recharge yourself." His tone wasn't a scolding on, it never was, but she gave him a sheepish smile as if it were. "I.. Well, I could not find it in me to shut down. I wanted to be awake for this day," explained Lantis. "I have been recharging the whole time, despite me doing so much. Forgive me for disobeying any rules." Maxwell opened his mouth to tell her that it was alright, to not do it again too, but the driver's voice stopped him.
"Sir," said the young man, "we've arrived to your destination."
Maxwell nodded to him and went back to his daughter, holding out a warm hand. She, like she had seen in many movies, placed her hand in his. "I'm very proud of you," he told her, "and I want you to have as much fun as you can, but please don't do anything to make me regret letting you go here." She nodded, moving towards him when he pulled at her arm. He pulled her to the seat next to him and wrapped his arms around her metalic body. The embrace was nice, just like all the other ones he gave her, and her bright smile and return of the hug showed that. "I love you, Lantis," he said to her. Lantis pulled back and returned the statement. She didn't rightly know what 'love' was, but she was sure that she felt it for the kind middle-aged man.
Maxwell then pulled away from her and got out of the car, holding the door open for her to step out. When she did, the small town car that they had been traveling in made a low growl signifying that the heavy weight inside of it was lifted, a.k.a, Lantis. The pair said their goodbyes and the android was soon heading towards the large building.

Emerging from a public transport service, commonly referred to as a taxi, a pair of near identical blonde teens were now surveying the grounds in front of them. There was a large and intimidating building and around it were people their age conversing. Not normal people, of course. Both took a step forward onto the school property, synchronized in movement. Their names were Tsuneo and Amaya Hirasaki, both considered evolved humans, if one wanted to put a label on something so horrid. The two had been experimented on since birth by those wishing to harness supernatural abilities and apply them to the 'average man', as they say. Tsuneo and Amaya were a result of this. They were dressed in normal-looking clothes: Amaya was wearing a white shirt with funky designs on it, and a frilly pink skirt with a pair of regular tennis shoes. Her blonde hair was tied up in pigtails, a ribbon binding each gathering of hair. She also had multiple clips holding her bangs together, and away from clouding her vision. Tsuneo, on the other hand, was wearing a black leather vest, and white skinny jeans. His medium-length blonde hair was tied into a small ponytail at the back of his head, with his bangs floating about his face in strands. He also wore a pair of black leather gloves, due to his abilities. They both had stunning light blue eyes--the kind that people wouldn't forget. On their backs were bags containing their belongings, plain black backpacks.
Jocelyn smiled. She nodded and walked toward the cafè.She wked up the path and opened the door. She walked over to an empty table sat and kicked up her feet.
