As they reach her single room. She opens the door looking down. After seeing most of the people at this school, her powers didnt seem so great. She feels as if her powers are nothing special and not worth sharing. But she shall tell him anyways. He doesnt seem that bad. Well. Nothing special really. Not that important either. But I can change my colours.. With that she blinks and her left eye turns green. see? she says playfully with one finger holding her eye open sticking her tongue out. She blinks and again and it changes back. oh and I can also speak to animals. Wait here Ill just quickly set my suitcase on my bed and Ill help you find your room She figured it was the right thing to do.
After she does so she locks the door and walks along the halls once again with him.

What good are shrines
and vows to maddened lovers?

User ImageMatej closed his eyes as he played his pan flute. He could hear the unmistakable sounds of a skateboard and someone tripping. He assumed the two sounds were the same person, and felt a little sympathy for whomever it was. He couldn't skateboard even if he wanted to, and he had tried before. 24 stitches and a chipped tooth later, Matej decided that perhaps skateboarding wasn't his thing. Playing the pan flute was, and he can happily attest to the fact that he has yet to suffer any sort of injury from it.

He was very much enjoying the warmth of California. Matej spent a majourity of his life moving from country to country, but they were all so cold. So much snow and not enough sun for his liking. Sure, he burns like it's his job, but a little bit of sunburn is well worth being able to walk outside in a t-shirt and not look like he's completely insane. The warmth was like being wrapped up in a cuddly blanket all day.

Before long, he felt like he was being watched. He never quite understood just how a person can feel someone else watching them, but he could, so he opened an eye to get an idea of who was watching him. Perhaps it was a flock of woodland animals and he was some sort of Disney princess! FINALLY. He saw wings and thought, "That is a HUGE bird. Oh, wait."

That "huge bird" ended up being one of his peers: an angel. She appeared to be a little younger than he was, but not by much.He noticed she was smiling and smiled as well. Hey-- an audience is an audience, and he was perfectly content with entertaining. He kept an eye on her while he played.

Human-Replicant H4NN4H, Activated

Even amongst the halls of Ravenwood, which had long seen many wonders, this was truly an unusual sight. Two human MP's were carting around a large, oblong crate on a dollie, and heading towards the dorms. A voice came from within the wooden box just then; it was highly synthetic, but still identifiable as female.

"Gentlemen, my servos are operating at full capacity, and I am quite capable of walking. Wouldn't it make more sense for me to simply walk alongside you? I'll be walking these halls on my own as a student shortly anyway, and it would help me become accustomed to my surroundings if I could see where I was going."

The MP on her left looked quite bored; clearly, he did not want to be there. The sides of his perfectly-trimmed brush cut, auburn in hue, was still visible under his helmet, though his eyes were obscured by sunglasses. "It's just a security protocol, Hannah. This is your first time out, and the bigwigs up top just don't want any liabilities while you're still their responsibility. Just be patient, and wait 'til we're at your dorm."

The MP on her right bore a scowl on his face. His bald head bore many scars, and he seemed one to be perpetually grumpy. "Don't call it that, Derek! It's just a machine! Model H4NN4H is no more of a human than the toaster you use for your breakfast in the morning! It's why we're carrying it in an oversized wooden box, full of packing peanuts, when we could be patrolling the border for illegal aliens!"

Hannah was about to speak up in her defense, when Derek spoke up for her. "Jared, you old son of a b***h, I've had it with your attitude! You know very well that we're not supposed to antagonize Hannah in any way. You hurt her feelings, and she could very well kick your a** six ways to Sunday if she weren't so damn polite, so be grateful! Times are changing, and you can either change with them or watch them pass you by."

Jared shut up quite promptly. A jet of exhaust passed through the front boards of the crate; Hannah had sighed. "Thank you for speaking up in my defense, Derek. However, while you got your point across quite poignantly, I would ask that next time, you attempt to refrain from using so many cuss words."

"I'm sorry, Hannah. You gotta be rough with stubborn old-timers like Jared, 'cuz they're used to being rough with everyone else. He's not the kind of person who listens to pretty words and good manners, are you Jared?"

"Darn tootin', kid! Back in my day, if you wanted someone to see things your way, you either give 'em a beer or a knuckle sammich!'

"Alright, Hannah, we're here. Let me just get the crowbar from the truck, and we'll have you out of that box in no time."

The planks groaned, and metallic fingers could be seen pushing out from either side of the crate. "No need, Derek. I've got this." With seemingly no effort, Hannah pushed the front facing of the crate completely off. Packing peanuts spilled out every which way, and Hannah stepped out. Her face looked ceramic at first, with its pale, white complexion and glossy sheen. However, it was fully capable of motion, and was actually a metallic gel polymer, capable of changing shape via stimuli from internal circuitry. The long, black strands of hair which stretched down from her scalp were actually fibre-optic cables, and just as durable as she was. Perhaps the most curious thing about her was her attire; she was already in school uniform, and she wore glasses, despite having perfect vision.

"The dossier said I would share this dorm with someone named 'Rei', correct? Any idea if this person is already here?"

Jared had jumped back a little, clearly startled, which left Derek to respond. "No idea. You'll just have to go inside and find out. We're going to get your clothes and school supplies now, Hannah. Why don't you settle in a bit?"

As the two men left, Hannah took a deep breath, turned the knob, and stepped into her new home...

Anna just wandered around outside aimlessly. Being too shy to speak to anyone, she stuck to being on her own, humming a tune by Alexander Rybak, and wishing she had her violin with her at the moment. She wasn't the greatest at violin, but she could definitely play--

She ran into a tree in her state of thought and fell backwards onto her butt on the ground.

"Oh jeez..." she mumbled, rubbing her head and looking around. "Hope no one saw that."

He looked up at her and she blushed. She sat on the ground in front of him, the music seemingly floating around her beautifully. She always loved the sounds of the pan flute and its many flute brethren. He kept his eye on her as he continued to play, she watched a leaf float by and she smiled swaying it to the music using her thoughts. She wasn't afraid of using her powers she loved how different she was. She let the leaf drift back to the ground noticing his smile. What a nice smile she thought as she began to sway to the music her peer was playing. She smiled looking around, small squirrels and such made their way from the woods and gathered slowly. They formed a circle silently watching and listening to him. She looked at him and kept a sweet smile on her face a blue bird landed on her shoulder as more animals gathered. Curiously she watched wishing she knew hot to play the pan flute, What good is having my brothers if I cant play it? she asked herself. She pushed the thought away letting the peace of the moment calm her.

xxxxxxxxxx Misaki's eyes widened, just ever so slightly, in surprise as her taxi drove up to the school. It was a beautiful place, really, and seemed like she would be loving a pretty nice life for the rest of her time here. If I make friends, that is, and the food is better than that disgusting mush they served in elementary school. Misaki thought, letting a tired sigh escape her lips.

The cab came to a smooth stop just outside the front entrance of the school, the motor still humming. Misaki took a moment to collect herself before stepping out of the vehicle, walking around the trunk and pulling her bags out. There were about a million of them, it seemed, as Misaki hauled each one onto the grass. Shutting the trunk door of the elegant, black taxi, she walked up to the male driver. The driver had greying hair, kind eyes with little laugh lines, and a dark suit on.  Misaki dug around in her bag quickly before plucking three twenty dollar bills from her wallet, each one crisply folded. She had been to the bank before she began the departure to her school, so the bills didn't have many wrinkles. "Thank you for the ride." Misaki said, flashing him one of her trademark grins. "Here, please keep the change." Misaki handed the  money to the older man, saluting him with two fingers before he drove off, a smile on his face as he thanked her.

Misaki walked over to the heap of bags, all different colours, shapes and sizes. "Here goes nothing..." she muttered, slinging a few bags over each shoulder and gripping the handles of her rolling suitcases. Before starting off towards her dorm, she breathed in, inhaling the fresh air outside. Misaki had been imprisoned, well, she had done it by choice, in a car for the past while, and it felt good to fill her lungs with clean oxygen. She started to trudge towards the main entrance, a slight breeze playing with her hair, it's long tendrils dancing behind her. She was wearing one of her typical outfits, and she hadn't bothered to dress up in fancier items like most people would on the first day of school.

Misaki had managed to pull and tug and push each of her million bags through the door of The Northan Highschool. Surprisingly, it was much bigger than she had thought it would be. An elegant buidling, no doubt, but had a modern and fun twist to it. She was almost at the front desk, when she tripped over a random strap on one of her bags, landing face first. Misaki was used to this, because she was extremely clumsy. Falling like this was almost second nature to her, but she had recently got it under control. Standing up and fixing her clothes, she walked the last few feet to the front desk, dropping her bags because she wanted a break. "Hi. Misaki Dylan Rei Matsumoto." she said to the secretary. The secretary smiled and handed Misaki her dorm key, a map, and her schedule. "Here you go sweetie. Welcome to Ravenswood, school for the gifted. You'll be in dorm 1. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask." the hostess-like secretary said. Misaki nodded, smiled, and began to walk to her dorm, but not before tripping on the exact same strap again.

A few minutes later, and after climbing a flight of stairs, Misaki had made it to her dorm room, room 1. Tossing her bags to the side, she looked around and smiled. The place seemed luxurious, but Misaki was accustomed to this style of living due to her extreme wealth. She hadn't been living as a luxurious life as she had when she was a child, but Misaki had lived pretty comfortably. She set her bags down on her bed, unzipping each one. She quickly unpacked her clothing into her set of drawers; luckily, there were two. Misaki walked over to the bed that she had claimed as her own, lazily falling back onto it. She wondered who her roomate would be, whether or not it would be a boy or girl, a jerk or someone so disgustingly sweet it threatened to give Misaki diabetes. She sighed, giving up on coming up with the ideal roomate. She sat up and patted down her clothes, deciding to walk around the school to try an familiarize herself with it. Misaki walked out of the dorm room and into the bright school, eager to talk to someone.

Out.Of.Cookies.: Hey guys (and girls). Please excuse any errors or mistakes. It is due to the fact that I am on a device other than my lovely computer, (my i-pod), so things are a bit difficult. And yes, I know my post is slightly long, and it was actually longer but I edited it down into five paragraphs to meet the rule's requirements. I promise to quiet down my writing muse in the future. Also, my character is free and open for anyone that would like to talk to her. She's not in any set place, so if you'd like to interact with her, you can make the location up. That's all for this post! :3

Anna stood up from her spot on the ground, which was quite comfortable, by the way, and headed back into the school to avoid hitting another tree. She walked down a few halls, and avoided a few walls, and eventually found someone to talk to.

The girl had stunningly beautiful long, pink hair and shimmering blue eyes. Anna stopped and just kind of stared at the girl for a bit before blinking and shaking her head to snap out of her daze.

"Oh, hello.." she said shyly, a nervous blush forming on her cheeks. This was a bit awkward to her already. She wasn't used to situations where she had to talk to others. She may have had other school years, but she never was the social one. If you wanted to stereotype her, you'd say the odd, quiet one who sits in the back of the class and never speaks. It's pretty accurate.

Incognito "Ink" Balatro
Shadow Man

akaisoraInk sat under the tree, eyes closed. He felt like the sleep was starting to kick in. This whole night time sleeping idea was a horrible idea. He knew he was just going to end up not being able to sleep once night came. It just wasn't natural for a person to be awake at this current hour. He wished he had at least a cup of joe to throw this tiredness out the window. As Ink dreamed of the bitter beverage a small tune came across his ears. He opened his eyes to see a blond haired girl walking and humming. He watched as she walked, not seeming to pay attention to her surroundings.

Ink's eyes followed her as she kept walking and he noticed she was heading right towards a tree. Certainly she wasn't that oblivious. He watched as she kept walking and whamed her head right into the tree. Ink's eyes shot out of his head as he partially stiffled a laugh. He couldn't decide at first whether he should walk over or not, but he decided not to when her words hit his ears. Probably was best that she believed nobody was around. He cocked his head as he watched her sit down for a while, but quickly decide she wanted to walk back towards the school. He didn't blame her, he indeed found this all interesting, but not stimulating. He would have to learn how to talk to people better.

OOC: @Summer You did all that on an ipod? e.o I would have just waited and got to a computer lololol
Also, finding it awkward to start out, very new character and I still haven't quite got down the personality style right. Plus haven't done a school rp in a long while haha

xxxxxxxxxx Misaki yawned quietly, stretching her arms above her head. Maybe later she would go and have a cold shower to really get her going. She was walking around the school to familiarize herself with it, and she now had a mental map etched in her mind, though she doubted her sense of direction sometimes.

She had turned a corner down a hallway and was walking in a grand corridor, with many larger windows along the sides, illuminating the school in a gentle, golden glow. Brushing a strand of pink hair over her shoulder, she looked up and saw an absolutely adorable neko who had said hello to her. She had cute ears, honey-suckle colored eyes and sun kissed hair.

Misaki smiled at the girl, glad to finally have someone to talk to. "Hey." she said to her, extending a delicate hand. "My name is Misaki, but you call can me Rei if you'd like." she said, seeing a light blush appear on the girl's face. "If you don't mind me asking, what's your name?" Misaki asked, a cheerful but calm tone to her voice.

Evelyn River Ancalime

River smiled as she walked around the grounds. She could see students walking about, or sitting and socializing. Her parents were right in sending her here. It would be much better than the homeschooling that they had provided her. She wanted to learn to socialize with others as easily as most of the students here. But how did one do that? Could it really be as easy as just walking up to a random person and introducing yourself? River bit her lip as she walked, still looking around. "What if they don't want to talk to me" she asked herself in a soft whisper. Finally she came to a stop at a tree and leaned against it. She'd work up the courage to ask someone and just go for it.

User ImageHe opened his other eye and his gaze widened into a look of genuine surprise--animals! Animals everywhere! He watched as a small bird gently landed upon the girl's shoulder and had a hearty (internal) laugh about it. This really was all sorts of Disney princess. Matej knew he was good at his instrument, but never did he think he would actually lead animals out of the woodlands. He was used to playing the pan flute in the forests where animals happened to be, but he never thought anything of it. They liked his music and he liked their company; what was there to think about?

He continued to play a little while longer, just to the end of the song, and then rested his pan flute on the grass next to him. "Well, I guess this makes me Aurora and you Snow White," he mused, looking again towards the angel, "But really I prefer to go by Matej. I'm glad you and my little cult following here enjoyed the show."He spoke with a rather strange accent; the result of spending 17 years moving all over Eastern Europe before finally settling down in California for a year. Matej adjusted the way he was sitting and smiled a friendly smile, "So, Snow White, what name do you prefer?"

Anna shook the other's hand with her own petite hand. "I-I am Anna. Pleasure to meet you, Misaki," she said, retracting her hand and curtseying to the other. It was only proper manners to curtsey, no? The girl stood straight again and just smiled softly a bit. "It is nice to meet someone I have no problem talking to..." she said softly, trailing off and looking away a bit. She was at a loss for words again, like usual.

She watched his eyes widened as he noticed the animals and giggled a little. When the song finished he mentioned Aurora and Snow White and she shook her head laughing "Maybe it does, so where are my little dwarfs?" she giggled. He introduced himself as Matej and she smiled "Matej what a pleasant name Slavic I believe. You play beautifully" She said with a smile. He asked what name she preferred and she smiled "While Snow white is a wonderous name, I go by Anastasia but feel free to call me either of the two she said with a casual shrug as she smiled.

xxxxxxxxxx Misaki laughed quietly (in her head) when Anna curtsied. She curtsied herself, a playful smile on her face. This was one of the few times someone had ever curtsied to her, upon introductions. Straightening, Misaki looked at Anna with bright eyes. "I'm glad you find me easy to talk to. The feeling is mutual." she laughed quietly, this time out loud. She truly was pleased that Anna had already found her easy to talk to, and although Misaki was a friendly person, no one had ever opened up to her this quickly.

Misaki grinned at Anna, wanting to continue to talk to the neko woman. "What dorm are you in?" she asked politely.
