♛ INTRO
Rathbourne Academy is a boarding school situated in Japan, and an institute specially established to cater to unique individuals with the ability to defy reality itself. These people are known as 'psychics'.
RA offers a wide variety of experiences for the students, and with the best instructors to guide the students, many of the graduates have left the campus to become successful people. But in a school full of such unique people, trouble is bound to happen.

♛ RULES
Ⅰ . GENERAL
Keep things family friendly! Time skip if your characters get down and dirty. As far as swearing goes, I don't give a flying ********. Some characters will be more powerful than the others, but this doesn't mean anyone is free to go autohitting or godmodding. Judge for yourselves which characters are likely to win or lose against another, talk to each other about it.
Ⅱ . LITERACY
There might be quite a bit you have to read through for the roleplay, but all we really need from you is at least five sentences per post. No one liners, that's a given, but I want this to be a more relaxed roleplay. Write whatever you can, and if you can't, that's fine too. Obviously if we think you're not matching up to standards, we'll tell you, but otherwise, you don't have to feel obliged to write a lot.
Ⅲ . COMMITMENT
So like I mentioned, I want this to be a more relaxed roleplay. One post every week is all you need to post, but if you can post more, that's highly encouraged. If you're going to he busy for more than a week, drop a note to any of the mods OR simply notify us in the OOC.
Ⅳ . CHARACTERS
Because this is a boarding school, while it may be situated in Japan, it doesn't mean we only welcome Japanese students. Variety is welcomed, but at the same time, please make characters believable and their statistics factual. Power wise, every character will have an ability, so do make sure to at least skim through the other profiles before making your own. You can have a maximum of two characters. Also take note that Asians put their surnames first.

Reserves are to be posted in the OOC. If you can't find a picture yet, that's fine. Just fill up the rest of the things and add in the image later. The reserve codes can be found in the OOC. Reserves are mandatory. Profile codings can be found in the profile thread.

♛ CAMPUS
Ⅰ . RANKING SYSTEM
Students are ranked according to their grade during the Final Assessment held at the end of every year. They are put through a series of tests by the teachers, and are graded according to the following two categories: POWER CONTROL and STRATEGY. Each category is worth 100 points, making the full score 200 points.
- Rank S : 190 – 200
Rank A : 170 – 189
Rank B : 150 – 169
Rank C : 130 – 149
Rank D : 100 – 129
Rank F : 99 and below
Ⅱ . CLASS SYSTEM
Students are split into different classes not based on their rank, but on the type of psychic ability they possess. CLASS ONE is for students whose abilities affect the physical world through physical means, with abilities such as telekinesis, electrokinesis and so on. CLASS TWO is for students whose abilities affect the physical world through intangible means, namely, the ability to manipulate forces. Abilities include vector manipulation, energy conversion and so on. CLASS THREE is for students whose abilities affect the mental world through intangible means, with abilities such as mind control, memory manipulation and so on. CLASS FOUR is for students whose abilities are classidied as astral/spiritual manipulation, with regards to time, space and spirit. Abilities include teleportation, power mimicry and so on.
(For consistency, every class has only two S–Ranked students at a time, one male and one female.)

Ⅲ . CLUBS
Every students is permitted to having three clubs – however, the clubs must belong in different categories. Clubs are categorized into SERVICE, ATHLETIC and NON-ATHLETIC.
The DISCIPLINARY COUNCIL is a separate student council solely focused on maintaining cohesion amongst the student population, and are given the right of dealing out punishment on the spot to offenders (eg detention, extra cleaning duty etc.). While the STUDENT COUNCIL only seeks students with strong leadership capabilities, the members of the DISCIPLINARY COUNCIL is more sought after for their power capabilities (Rank B and above).
The MAGAZINE club is a completely student-governed and student initiated club in charge of publishing a school magazine once every month. They do reviews on school events and interesting columns with relevance to the students' lives.
