Jake chuckled, partly out of nerves and partly our of humor. "I actually grew up about as far as you could get from here, ya know, Africa. Pretty rural place, except instead of cow pastures and fields of corn, you had savannahs and minefields." He winced at the mention of minefields, kicking himself for letting that slip. stupid! Jake attempted to regain his status, rubbing the back of his head.
"Well, I was laid up in the hospital for a while", he explained, motioning to his leg. "And one day, a letter shows up for me. It's in some weird pattern. After fiddling with it for a few hours, I was able to read it. I just had one of the nurses pull up a laptop for me and I checked to see if it was true. And now here I am, walking aimlessly around a strange campus with a strange pair of twins." He paused for a moment. "Well we keep talking and we keep walking, but we're getting nowhere fast."

◇ ◆ We may be twins...

❖❇lice and lly nodded. Africa huh? Sounds like a better place than where we currently live.... Well. Until we came here. Ally glanced at Alice, who was staring at the floor as they walked. A little frown on here face. Because of what they are, they can sense how they are feeling. And like a twin thing, they can kind of read each other minds. If they focus enough.

lly let out a little laugh as Alice smiled a bit. "Strange? Hmmmm... Never been called strange before. And I don't find us strange." Ally said, playfully tapping her chin. "I've been called that many times. Along with other things. But coming from you sounds different." Alice said, looking ahead with a smile. Ally smiled as she felt Alice feeling going up. Ally glanced at Jake. Alice first real friend. He's a nice guy. Way different from how the others treated back home.

But we are different in many, many ways◇ ◆

User Image Maybe it wasn't such a good idea to hang around this boy after all. Sophie knew that he was a starer...but...it never stopped. It was like his eyes were glued to her. It wasn't just her face too. Sophie swore she even caught him looking at her breasts or lack there of. She had no idea that he was simply thinking about her physical heartbeat. To her, he just seemed like some pervert. Sophie tried to stay calm though. She was supposed to be a shy sweet girl. If problems developed later though, she'd have to go outside her comfort zone.

User Image "Alright." Sophie said, swinging her tail so that it purposes chimed her bell. "You lead the way then...I don't want to be the reason we get lost." She muttered out, getting closer to the boy. Out of habit, the shy girl wrapped her arms around his. Of course Sophie didn't have a crush on the newcomer, but it was comforting to be escorted around. Normally it was her brother in his place. This would have to do though. Sophie cutely nuzzled his shoulder while waiting for him to lead her around.

Mikael held his breath when she got closer to him, but relaxed when she simply wrapped her arms around his. Hoping his heart wouldn’t be too troublesome he decided to comment on what she said. "Getting lost is not always such a bad thing. I know I wouldn’t mind getting lost with you." Mikael blushed and smiled at her then started walking. His courage had been bolstered presumably by his ring, but that’s not what was on his mind right now. His thoughts were with the girl on his arm and where he would take her. The day was nice so he decided to guide them outside, Maybe see something unique together. Mikael sensed something odd, He heard many hearts beating in unison very fast and very close together. It seemed to be coming from outside so he walked to the exit and towards the sound of the hearts. It was a nice day this morning so he had planned to take a walk out there anyways. The nice warm sun would comforting in this walk.

Venturing to the back of the school he wondered where he had heard the hearts, He only sensed one now and looked up. Pointing the being out to Sophie he realized it was someone falling. However this persons heart wasn’t beating as someone falling from the sky would probably be in a panic. Worried for the sake of this person he watched as the person neared the ground faster and faster before exploding into many birds. Mikael cringed slightly at the sudden noise of all their hearts combined. But continued to watch on as the birds seemed to crawl into each other and the person was standing on the ground. This sparked his curiosity and he wondered what Sophie thought of the show that the performer didn’t expect to put on for them.

                                                                            ▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇▇

User Image Sophie purred cutely. The shy girl was still very skiddish but being near someone so similar to her older brother was comforting. The truth was though, Oliver and Sei are nothing a like. Sophie just sees him as a strong, gentle person. Oliver was strong...but he certainty wasn't sweet like Sei. Only around that girlfriend of his. Oh well, the point was, Sophie had an easy time getting along with Sei. With his cute comments, she even giggled a little bit. "What? Nah. I smell too much like a cat." Sophie said, trying to put herself in a negative light. She actually smelled more like mangos because of the shampoo she used.

User Image And so, Sophie let Sei lead her around. Though she had recommended exploring the school, they some how ended up outside. Soon, they were staring at some bloke falling down from the clouds. Sophie jumped back, her tail flluffing up. Was she about to witness a death? Would it be messy? Oh great...she didn't want to get her nice clothes dirty. Then...POOF. Birds. Lots...and...lots...of birds. Sophie's ears folded flat against her head. She didn't really like birds...and...they didn't like her either. Sophie whimpered quietly. They reassembled back into a person thankfully...wait...ANOTHER PERSON?! Grabbing back onto Sei's arm, she hid behind him. "...Is...that your friend?"

.Some time had past from whence the Famed Doctor was encountered his sweet and now. He had to admit that he hadn't taken much of notice of her at first, which is unusual for a pervert that prided himself on knowing the exact location of any near about, and besides, this school wasn't exactly the sort of place he would expect to find a pretty woman. A woman, yes. A certain time of woman. But the girl he sighted wasn't like that: she was young, half his age, and she wore an assortment of ribbons and frills.

But what made him aware of her wasn't her clothes, it was the loudness of her fists, which was quite in contrast to the way she looked. At his first sight, she was sitting with three boys, all older than her, who he recognized at once: their names were not important right now but they were the kind who looked their noses down at even his authority after he caught their villainy once before.. They sat forward on their stools and watched this young girl with leering, wolfish eyes that betrayed a darker purpose, even though they were all smiles. The trio banged on the table, encouraging her as she drank dry some strange potion they dared her to taste. No, she did not look like one of the women who usually frequented such punks, but it seemed she was determined to act like one of them.

The flagon was about as big as her head was, and as she wiped her hand across her mouth and banged it to the table. The kids responded with cheers, shouting for another one and no doubt pleased to see her wobble slightly on her stool. Probably could not believe their luck - a pretty little thing like that. Samuel watched as they let the girl drink yet more of the poisoned honey with the same tumult accompanying her success, and then as she did the same as before, and wiped her hand across her mouth with a more pronounced wobble this time. A look passed between them. A look that seemed to say, "The job is done".

Quite suddenly, a flutter of light brought him to his senses. He had unconsciously withheld his hand from his acquaintance Holly, and his food was still yet to be eaten. The chocolate had decayed into a dry mess and what ever else looked terrible to his tastes. What he had the urge for was not anything eatable in a sense. Drinkable was a more befitting term for his hunger.

Looking across the table, Samuel wondered silently how much time has actually passed from his parting of a new student and now. Did he just hold her ear for a long matter? His face mellowed red. "I'm sorry...." As a person in a higher authority, how could he allow himself to stray so far. His back arced against the chair as he slumped into a self-inflicted prison of shame

Mikael wondered why he decided to come outside instead of exploring more of the school. The sound of the hearts beating sounded nothing like he had heard before, Not human but not animal either. When he listened close enough it sounded like the beats were perfect, A perfect tempo and a perfect sound. Like a perfectly tuned piano and the same key pressed over and over in perfect timing. Its that sound that drew him subconsciously outside and into the spectacle of this odd being. He looked perfect as well, Like he was sculpted by a master artist working with the best clay in the world. He decided to apologize for dragging Sophie outside when he realized she seemed to be terrified by the birds the humanoid created. To answer her question, "I’ve never seen him before but I don’t think hes human." He heard her heart beating somewhat fast, indicating to Mikael that she was scared of this person, Or the birds he controlled. Mikael moved her a little behind him and assured her she wasn’t in any danger. Even if she was Mikael felt a very strong sense to protect her even if it meant his own life was at stake. Where these feelings came from or what they meant were confusing but he decided not to question the nature of these new thoughts until he made sure this person they had seen meant no harm. "He might be apart of the staff members, Do you want to meet him?" He wouldn’t pressure Sophie to do anything she wouldn’t want to do but Mikael's curiosity was at its peak ever since he stepped foot on the school grounds. Everything intrigued him and he tried to only focus on one thing at a time. The people, The structures, Even the food intrigued him. Some might think it would be dangerous to be so curious without a fear of what may or may not be hostile. However with the ability to sense heart beats he had a good idea on how people were feeling. Whether or not he knew what those feelings meant didn’t matter. Hostile was hostile and everyone can tell the difference.
