► Music pumping, hearts racing. The beautiful sound of a young girl's serenade filled the room. The audience was going crazy. It was as if they were hypnotized by the beautiful temptress that rocked out on stage. Who couldn't be? She was gorgeous, amazing, she was...on TV. Holly was the one holding her brush and pretending as though she was that rock star. With the TV on behind her, she was parading about her pretty pink room as if she was there. That was of course until a certain little cub unplugged the entertainment system. This revealed her horrible singing voice. Cute on it's own, but not quite rock star material. It soon enough was replaced by a shriek. "Daren!" Holly hollered, throwing a pillow at the boy's general direction. "What did I tell you about coming into my room?!" She screamed. The boy quickly dodged her fluffy attack. "Mom said to come get you for dinner!" He said before proptly sticking his tongue out at her. This only enranged Holly even more though. She picked up the next nearest thing in her room. It was her desk. With no effort at all, Holly slammed it down, hoping to smash him like a bug. The boy successfully popped up from underneath though. "You're off your game sis! It's probably because your butts so big!" He mocked. And went the next thing...and the next thing... Soon enough, there were holes in her walls and most of the furniture was destroyed. "Kids! <3 What's taking so lo-" In walked mother.

► And so it was decided that Holly would be attending that school they had been talking about. This was the first school she'd be attending since she got kicked out of her old one about two years earlier. Apparently, Holly was too aggressive for the other students. That and she displayed some inappropriate behavior for a girl her age. Anyway, Holly had moved in a few days previous. She hadn't really gotten to know anyone though. The only people Holly had gotten to talk to so far were the nurses at the school. That was because she had sprained her ankle during the fight with her brother. Holly had to get her cast touched up just about every day. Hopefully Holly would meet some other students today though. It was the official move in day. Now was the chance to make an impression. First off though, Holly had to go check in with the nurses. Her sprain should be about fixed now so a general check up was in order.

► Stepping into the school's medical office, Holly was escorted to an examination room. "I'm sorry sweety. You might have to wait here for a while." The nurse said. "Some freshman has already managed to get something stuck up somewhere very uncomfortable. Us nurses have our hands full and there's still no sign of our head doctor." She said with a sigh. "Oh, that's okay Nurse Sherri. I don't mind waiting." "Well alright Hun. Someone should be in here in a little bit then. Fifteen minutes tops." The nurse said before grabbing her clipboard and walking out. And with that, Holly took a moment to walk around the room. She paced for a little bit before finally taking a seat on the examination table. Holly kicked her feet playfully. Anything to keep herself from boring to death. Holly seemed to be content, but inside...it was killing her to sit there like a good little girl.

Things were pretty busy this early in the morning for a school infirmary. It's really to be expected since school was starting up. Soon, this place would be filled with students looking to skip out on tests and catch a quick snooze before they cheat on their lovers on those stuffy beds. Cut to the lovable anti-hero, who was washing his hands after giving his little buddy a quick relief. He stared at himself in the mirror - seeing no reflection to greet his weary eyes. "I miss my pretty mug...", he whimpered as he left the bathroom. Grabbing a clipboard placed outside the door, he flipped through a few pages of his new patient's records on the way back to the examination room.

The name rung a few vague bells in his head, but he couldn't place a face on the name no matter how much he tried to rummage around that idiotic head. Still he entered the Examination Room and set the clipboard on a counter. "Miss Harrison...looks like you......", he trailed off his chain of thought when he looked up to see a familiar face kicking her feet on a bed. It all came back to the stupid vampire like a bad hangover.

"Honey Pot!! Oh my little Honey!", he ran over to her, cupping her into his arms. She was probably getting mouthful of his fur collar, but he didn't care. It had been years since he last saw those adorable little bear ears. The nurses always got onto him for wearing such flashy clothes in the office, yet they all ungodly amounts of perfume. No way he's going to hide his style under some stuffy white coat.

► Holly was beginning to believe that the nurse was never coming back. She was just about to cross her arms in frustration when the door creaked open. "Well it's about t-" Holly stopped mid sentence. As her eyes met his, she was just as surprised as he was. Wait, wasn't he her homeroom teacher at...Holly had no time to really respond. The doctor man ran up and nearly strangled her with his hug. Yep, definitely him. Holly just closed her eyes and accepted it. There wasn't anything else she could do.

► Now this was an interesting scene. Her old teacher was now her doctor at her new school. Weird. Holly didn't think that you could even get a medical degree in two years. Oh well, his grip had loosened up by now. She was able to sit up straight before him. "Nice to see you Professor." Holly greeted him like she did two years ago. Her voice had changed ever so slightly but her usual playful demeanor was there. Holly was a bit posed differently though. She was older, more confident. "I've grown quite a bit as you can see." Holly tried to show off, outlining her 'curves'. Yes, she had grown...but not by much. Holly was always doomed to be the lolita type. Don't go telling her that to her face though. "And you have gotten....younger?" Holly asked, her head tilting to the side out of confusion. "Wow. Whatever moisturizer you're using is doing wonders. You look hot Teach." Holly said. It was usual for her to make such comments towards others. She was incredibly blunt.

► Holly really wanted to keep checking out her ex professor but there were more pressing matters at hand. "Oh yeah!" She said, resisting the urge. Holly was only able to because she had respect for that man. "Can you take off my bandages? I was supposed to get them taken care of today." She asked, reaching down to tug off her left shoe.

"I don't like this at all.."A voice soothed out. The voice belonged to a girl with long black hair and large eyes including eyelashes. Her face was thin and so was her body but it looked fine from an average perspective.Her name was Hotaru Yoshida.She was sat in a taxi approaching a school. The school was designed especially for people who weren't the normal human and as normal Hotaru looked she had this annoying ability.

Her hearing. Right now, she could hear the sound of the taxis engine and the gears and it was giving her a headache and the laughter of the new students and some teachers in the teachers lounge having a laugh. Hotaru sighed and the taxi came to an abrupt stop which halted her body and heaved it forwards. Swiftly she got out of the car with her bags and so on taking it towards the building.

It took her at least half an hour when she was settled, her keys, her bags were taken to her room and now it was just her walking. So far, so good. The school was quiet at the beginning. Her ears hurt. People were staring. There were noises everywhere. "I don't like this."She whined.

While it had been a long time coming for the two destined lovers to meet, he felt a little out of line to just up and grope one of his former students without taking her out to dinner first. Still, he tried to resist the urge to parade her down the halls like some trophy loli - mostly cause she had started quite a few fights over the word "lolita". "I just use whatever made you look so...mature.", Sam noted as he adjusted his collar since he had to use that last part very carefully or else he would be the dead school doctor.

As his Honey Pot reached down to tug at her bandages, he caved into his desires. By using his special power of x-ray vision, he attempted to live out every teenage boy's dream of peeking at what a cute girl wears underneath. To mask his attempt, he knelt down as if he was going to remove the cast. ."How did this sprain happen?", the doctor asked as he grabbed lightly onto the bandages. He looked at her in the eyes while doing so, but really he was looking to see if she had really developed in the front.

As he was down there being a perv, he finally remembered something that he knew she would love. "Hold that thought.", Sam replied before she could explain as he walked over to his desk. Rummaging through a messy drawer that just reeked of alcohol (non-medicinal), he pulled out a candy pop. He returned to Holly's side, although he was nw on one knee as if he was proposing. "Honey suckers - your favorite..", he explained as he held it out to her like the rose from his heart.

Delsin walked past the many streets and cars from the small city like area, his large duffle bag containing all his belongings draped over his left shoulder. He walked with no real purpose to his new home and school. How he was even allowed to the school was beyond him, especially with the lack of medical records and grades since he was in third grade. Still finding the school was extremely easy for him. One day while just walking aimlessly around he found this blank piece of paper, however something felt odd to him. Not really seeing a reason not to Delsin channeled his electricity through the paper, figuring he might as well have some fun instead of just throwing it away, only to reveal a set of instructions on how to apply online to this school for the abnormal. Not really having anything better to do or a better place to stay he figured why not, and went to the local library to legally borrow a computer. Now all he needed was some form of identification... And having no birth certificate or a social security card meant he would have no choice but to use his criminal record as a form of identification. Which was why, now entering the impressive school grounds, Delsin was following his map to the nurses office. The school doctor apparently did not mind his lack of medical records and said to just come see him upon his arrival. Delsin figured the man probably just wanted to do a quick check up to make sure he was at least somewhat healthy and agreed to do so.

Walking down the seemingly simple halls Delsin found his destination and walked in, however did not expect to see or hear what he found. Sitting on a bed with her leg raised and blocking the face of whoever was "examining her" was some girl with a cast. However when the man finally got up and retrieved a "honey sucker" for her that something seemed rather off. Looking between the two, both noticing his presence now, Delsin blinked before placing his criminal record on the nearby desk and raising his hands in a surrendering motion before retreating out the door without another word. Closing the door behind him Delsin banished what he just witnessed from his mind. It was none of his business and was unfair for him to judge the situation like that without having full context to their conversation. Debating whether or not to go back in and apologize Delsin eventually decided not to, feeling he already made it awkward enough as it is, and decided to explore the school a little more.

Once again walking the halls Delsin noticed that more than a few students were staring at a seemingly normal looking girl. She seemed rather uncomfortable as people talked around her and whenever someone started to speak or make any sort of noise she would react slightly in disapproval. Instantly Delsin's calculating mind went into work as he observed her for a mere second. "Reacts to sound obviously. Probably has heightened senses, but I cant really be sure since she is only displaying the fact her hearing is higher then most. So she either has really sensitive hearing, or I am reading to much into this. Still, she is uncomfortable. Maybe I could help?" Walking over to the girl Delsin opened his bag, the zipper clearly annoying the girl to which he gave her an apologetic look. Reaching in he pulled out his headphones and iPod... yea his iPod, and handed it to her after making sure the sound was on the lowest setting. If she took it, then his theory would be correct and hopefully the music would be low enough to not bother her yet loud enough to cancel out all the other noise around her. Delsin just stood there with his arm extended, not saying a word as to not agitate her more then he has already.

Why were so many people so happy at this time of day, squealing and clapping and humming and being with other people satisfied them so much. Her head darted from one place to the other, looking for some sort of room she could lock herself in. Hopefully she would be fine in her one to one sessions with a teacher for her hearing but for now she just had to put up with it. Even though she regrets joining, Hotaru knew this was the best for this is what she needed to become more normal and enjoy her life.

She heard footsteps behind her and froze for a moment, she shifted slightly and played with her fingers. Hopefully the person would walk past. Breathing in and breathing out, the steps came towards her and she made eye contact with a boy. He seemed somewhat a similar age but she couldn't really tell, he opened his bag and she winced at the noise having it so close to her, him having an apologetic look gave her some relief that he wasn't just hear to annoy her. The boys movements suggested he was helping her, but why was he helping her out of all people? It seemed he had an ipod she had one too but left it in her room, along with the ipod was the earphones. She glanced up at him, back to the ipod and then back to him again. "I---I can put them on?" Her hands shakily made it towards his hands and her fingers made contact with his hands as she put on the headphones, her hands cupping them slightly.

Her face was then full of content. This was good, the louder noises were drowned out and she was more focused on the softness of the music that bounced in her ears. For a while she seemed to lose herself however she quickly regained her settings and jumped a little. Late reaction from Hotaru as always since she's one of those slow ones."Sor- Sorry."Her speech got jumped slightly at this point, "Hotaru-- My names Hotaru." At this point she put on a crooked smile. Hotaru hadn't been so openly helped people nor in contact with someone like this before so it surprised her and what to say was hard.

Ah, how do you thank someone? She thought. She lifted her arm up slowly and brought her hand down to his head softly. She then pet his head and ran her hand through his hair. To Hotaru, this was the norm. Cats were the norm. One final pat and she slid her hand out. "Thank you, what is your name?"

Delsin watched the girl in front of him attempt to form a sentence as she combated the noises of the hallways and who knew what else. Seeing her shakily take the headphones from him and the look of content on her face when she put them in, Delsin figured his work was done nd turned slightly to get past her. He stopped however when she told him her name was Hotaru, which only caused Delsin to raise an eyebrow. "I don't remember asking for her name..." Shrugging it off he nodded to her and tried to move on, only to be stopped again when Hotaru reached for him. Instantly Delsin was on edge and ready to fight should he need to, he doubted it but there was no way he would take the chance. His eyes narrowed slightly for every second she came closer, only for them to go wide once Hotaru began to... pet him? Completely confused and surprised Delsin stood there staring at Hotaru with shock evident on his features. "My names Delsin." He responded dumbly still trying to comprehend what just happened. A few moments of petting later Delsin regained his composure and moved away from her hand, not wanting her to be that close to him. He may have helped her but that sure as hell doesn't mean he trusts her.

Delsin, now backed away from Hotaru, sighed as he realized the girl probably just doesn't know any better, and he was not making things better. Stepping forward slightly he stuffed his hands in his hoodie pockets and looked at Hotaru's eyes. "You know petting people isn't really a normal thing to do. Just saying, if you want to thank someone just say thank you and that's all. And please, don't touch me without asking first ok?" He still didn't know why he was even bothering with Hotaru. All he knew was that he felt obligated to help her out and if there was one thing Delsin hated it was weakness. What better way to get rid of weakness then to help the person to get stronger? At least now Hotaru didn't look like she would collapse if someone's shoes would squeak.

Hotaru frowned when the male had moved away from her hand, she closed it up slightly before letting it fall down besides her. "Delsin..Delsin..."She mumbled. It was as if she was some computer that couldn't take information in very quickly and was rendering the information but at the same time it kept deleting the informatio. "Ah, right. Deslin."She repeated. Her eyes were drooped and most of eyelashes covered her eyes despite them being so big. She wasn't very sure as to why he was surprised and tilted her head. Hotaru then put on a warm smile, breathing "Shy kitty?" Referring to him and a cat she had back home who at first wasn't keen on being touched or petted and only after the cat began to trust her would slowly give in to her constant fits on petting him. So maybe that was how Delsin was like.

Him backing away caused her some inner stress and she too backed away, was he planning something, did she do something wrong? Her eyebrows furrowed but then relaxed when he came near her again so she stood back up. After he told her about the whole petting scene, she began frowning again, a guilty frown."I'm sorry. Pl-" she paused for a moment getting the words back into her throat "please forgive me. And out her mouth. "Can I pet you Delsin?"

Hotaru then glanced at the ipod again and smiled, it wasn't the most cutest of smiles but she was grateful. "Thank you again."

Still on edge, Delsin watched Hotaru like a hawk, his eyes never leaving hers as he calculated the odds of her being a possible threat. From what he has seen so far she obviously wasn't much of a threat but still Delsin kept his guard up. Hearing Hotaru refer to him as a "shy kitty" was a little weird, yet Delsin was more put off by the kitty part. Still not entirely sure of what to do he sighed before walking towards her again. "Look I just don't like being touched ok. And don't worry about the whole petting thing, its not a big deal. Not like I care about what these people think anyway." He was about to continue until Hotaru asked if she could pet him again. Delsin blinked at her before a light blush barely noticeable crossed his features. "Why do you want to pet me so much? You can try but be warned, you might get shocked on accident." To illustrate his point Delsin raised his right hand and let electricity arch between his fingers and down his hand and arm.

He loved his power, just as much as he did art. Never once did he think he was weird or some sort of freak. In fact when he first discovered his power all he could say was "Sweeeet!" Of course controlling his powers were nearly impossible as it took his complete concentration just to make sure no one would get electrocuted by lethal amounts. Still, he wondered how exactly Hotaru would react to his powers, it was going to be fun to watch that much was for sure.

Hotaru wasn't sure why this boys guard was up. Hers was pretty low but then again if a sudden loud noise had come out she wouldn't know what to do and just freak out however Hotaru wasn't that kind of person to have her guard up nor being alert so maybe this was common. "Re-" She paused and then shook her head as if to say never mind. The black haired girl felt a flow of relief when he said that it was nothing to worry about. "I didn't mess up? I'm glad-- I haven't messed up completely." She quietly responded.

About the petting thing, she put a finger to her lips and began to think but then he talked about the whole shock thing which made her confused and tilted her head. Her eyes widened slightly when she saw the surge of electric and had to process everything as quickly as she could, her mouth parted lightly and she was surprised with what she was seeing. Hotaru hadn't seen anyone else with abilities apart from her own, no one else she knew had them so she was just as shocked as any normal person would be seeing this.

Then her eyes returned to their normal shape. Ah. Answer his question first. "I think I'm hom-homesick." She began "and I had cats to keep me company, I think it's my way of coping so I'm sorry." Then she did a small hop in excitement but it didn't match the look on her face which was still straight as ever "How did you do that? Doesn't it hurt? Can I touch --- it?"

► Holly was too blinded by nostalgia to see what the doctor was really up to. If only she knew that he was trying to take a peek under her clothes, she'd probably knock him so hard into the wall that it will leave an indent. Holly remembered him being the handsome teacher that she used to crush on when she was fourteen. He couldn't possibly do no harm. So when the 'good' doctor was taking quite a while to remove a simple cast, Holly didn't question it. She just smiled at him in her usual cute manner. "Well, I got into a fight with my brother and ended up tripping over the TV cord." Holly blushed, rubbing the back. She hoped that this information would help him determine if she was healed yet...but..he didn't even accomplish his task of taking off the cast. The bandage had barely moved, the edge only have unraveled ever so slightly."Doctor? Is everything alright?" Holly asked as he sprang back up.

► When the doctor pulled a lollipop out. Holly gasped. She couldn't help but snatch it out of his hand. "Oh! My favorite!" Holly exclaimed, almost purring as she unwrapped the treat. She closed her eyes, licking the honey flavored sucker like a little girl. "I can't believe you remembered" Holly said, flattered. Just then though, a boy stepped in. Holly opened one eye to see who was interrupting them. 'I swear if he came in here to cut in line I'll-Oh! He's just dropping something off.' Holly's ears perked up. She popped the rest of the sucker into her mouth as the strange boy placed some files down on the counter. 'Wow, he's kind of cute.' Holly thought, smiling a little bit. He was quick to leave though.

► "Oh yeah!" Holly took the lolli out of her mouth so she could speak. "Professor, I really wanted to go out and meet the other students today." She said innocently. It was embarrassing that such a tough girl like herself needed to actually make friends rather than letting them all come to her. "So could you please hurry? I promise I'll come back in for another check up tomorrow if I have to." Holly said, wanting to catch up anyway. She took a few more licks of her sucker while waiting for the doctor to answer.

xxx Richard was being driven to school like all the other new students. Like them, he was special...but in more ways than one. Richard wasn't just a vampire, he was transgender. Never had he heard of that combination. Then again, neither of those were very common. Maybe now that he was going to a specialized school though, he'd be able to connect with someone else or at least someone who understands for once. Richard was not too worried though. No one needed to know about his personal dilemmas for now. Richard was going to be who he always was. "Master Richard, we he-" "Katherine." Richard said quietly from the back seat. "Excuse me sir?" "Katherine. Call me Kat." Richard said sweetly, smiling happily. With this new environment, there was no way he was going to let anyone stop him from being himself.

xxx Stepping out of the car, Richard was of course nervous. This was the first time he had been allowed to wear his drag on the first day of school. Then again, there was nothing his parents could have done about it because Richard had thrown out all of his old clothes the previous day. So tight shorts that could compete with any cheerleaders and a T that screamed teenager, Richard took his first few steps onto the property. Normally kids had gotten to know him before they knew about all of his feminine behavior. This was different though. No one knew. "This is going to be so awesome! Ow!" Richard fell over. Someone had smacked him in the face with a Frisbee.

xxx Richard was on the ground now, rubbing his forehead. It stung so much! Just when he had thought that things were going to be right, some guy noticed and threw something at him. "I knew this was a bad ********] He hissed. Just then though, the male responsible ran up and held out his hand. "I'm so sorry! I didn't see you there princess." He said, reaching to help her out. Richard blushed. "...Princess?" His eyes practically glittered with joy. He accepted the boy's hand and helped himself up. "Well yeah. You look like you could be royalty." "Oh stop." Richard was flattered. This was like a dream come true. Someone was actually flirting with him! "Here, I got to go now but take my number." "Oh I will cutie." Richard said, trying to be playful. He even twirled his hair a little bit with his finger. And so Richard got his first phone number. He wasn't going to call that boy though. He was kind of ugly. That wasn't the point though. Richard was making some serious progress with his life.

xxxAs the boy ran off, Richard was filled with new confidence. He waved at the ugly boy. When he was out of sight though, Richard jumped up and squealed. "Oh my god! I can't believe that just happened." He giggled. Richard was getting in over his head though. Not wanting to make a scene though, he calmed himself and acted cool. Excitement held deep down, Richard checked his nail polish. More students were arriving. All he had to do was be cute and eventually someone else would introduce themself to him.

Delsin shrugged towards her as a response. To be perfectly honest he had only theories to suggest why he can do these things. "Basically I can create and absorb electricity of any form. So I can charge that iPod, shoot lightning out, and cause a blackout if I felt like it. I usually don't use it so it does hurt sometimes but only for a few seconds." His uncaring demeanor never changed as he spoke, giving the illusion that he was bored when actually he was rather confused. Why does she care so much about his abilities? Is she just curious or is there something more to this than he can tell. As he looked at Hotaru and the headphones something clicked in his mind. She clearly has been sheltered most if not all of her life, so he was most likely the first person Hotaru met with powers too. No wonder she was so curious. At the mention of touching it Delsin tensed. Whenever someone touched him while conducting electricity bad things have always happened. "I'm sorry but I think it would be safer if you didn't. I only discovered it recently and don't have much of a control over it yet. Id probably hurt you on accident." He doubted she would question it any more then she has already, at least he hoped. His power was a sort of sore subject for him considering the damage he has caused with it.

Rubbing the back of his neck Delsin shifted his duffle bag over his shoulder to get more comfortable with it, and then started to walk away from Hotaru. Looking over his shoulder Delsin stopped. "I'm going to go drop my stuff off at my dorm, you can come if you want. We are going to have to go outside though if that's ok with you." He was still unsure if it was only her hearing that was enhanced, so he figured it would be polite to ask. For all he knew he could be some super human... but then again weren't they all? Hell some of the people going to the school weren't even human. A prime example was that girl in the nurse's office. She was probably only half human, if those ears of hers were any indication.
