His father would first and foremost take his son's few prized possessions, as well as conduct a small investigation as to how he had gotten such a wound. The implications would put everyone into the fray, and he couldn't quite do that. Aki was a good friend. Kizaki... well, she seemed nice, and didn't need a scandal to grace the papers as his father would attempt it to. And, last but not least, his father would be cruel and twist the story of his irrational heroism as something Kathleen had cooked up to get the family funds.
