Kathleen looked at him. "No, thats not nothing." she told him. "Get it checked out." she continued. He was being so stubborn. She looked at him seriously letting him know that she would not believe him and that he really needed to get it checked out.

"I don't need to." He knew that he was being stubborn, but she didn't understand the implications on if he actually attempted to treat his wounds privately. His father would first and foremost take his son's few prized possessions, as well as conduct a small investigation as to how he had gotten such a wound. The implications would put everyone into the fray, and he couldn't quite do that. Aki was a good friend. Kizaki... well, she seemed nice, and didn't need a scandal to grace the papers as his father would attempt it to. And, last but not least, his father would be cruel and twist the story of his irrational heroism as something Kathleen had cooked up to get the family funds. All in all, he knew where he got his distrust in others. "I'm fine."

Kathleen stared at Aki for his comment. "Yeah I guess." she said to him. She looked at Haru. Why was he acting like that? He is too stubborn. "No you're not fine." she told him sternly. She knew he was getting irritated but what could she say. She hated it if her friends are hurt. "You're gonna get irritated because I won't stop nagging you. I'm telling you that now." she told him sternly.

"You don't understand." Haru didn't know how to explain the situation- only knowing that he wasn't going to at all. He couldn't. Fear of one's parents was definitely a flaw to his character, and the host club would lose business if he did show a weakness. Last thing he needed was a addition to his weekly quota... "I'm fine."

Haru knew that he was only making her feel worse, but... he couldn't really help it. She didn't understand just what would happen if his father really did find out about what had happened that day, let alone that the sole heir of his company getting hurt over something he would deem as 'frivolous'. He couldn't do that to her. "You're not in the way. It's just... complicated." His voice was soft. Much softer than any other time he had ever spoken. And he was using the softest voice for Kathleen alone, not wanting the others to hear. Finally, he turned to both Aki and Kizuki, his usual unemotional mask on his face. "Is this a protest against me then? I'm fine, so don't worry." Pausing, he added, "And I'll get one if Kizuki-san does." Albeit secretly.
