She could hear her aunties foot steps go out the door. She could feel their eyes on her. Then the bell rang as if someone left the door. Letting go slowly, Sophie let out a long sigh. "Oh, goodness. Thank you so much." She chuckled at little at what she just did. Usually she isn't this bold with movements. Soon as she knew it people were looking at them. "WELL, then. Let's go order." Looking at josh, and searching for familiar faces she saw one of the students staring at josh. Tilting her head, the lady at the cashier interupted her and her thinking of what classes she seen her. "Are you finished with your love fest? Or can you order. TODAY." Taken aback of such rudeness she decided it would be fun to order and get her irratated at the same time. "Are you finshed at being so damn rude? And yes can I have a hot chocolate with.. Hmmm. A blueberry muffin." Turning to josh, "What do you want? And I'll pay since you just had TWO weird slash awkard slash involvement."

Roze smiled and nodded her head once. Pretty name? She supposed that's why her mother had given her such an odd name. That and to keep certain names going through the generations. She had never given her name much thought either way. Listening carefully she realized most of the activities Claire had listed were things to do with friends. Unless you were really alone, you'd do them by yourself. "Trip after homecoming? That sounds like fun," she said happily. Trip usually involved going to places outside. That was her element, where she felt more comfortable. Her parents hadn't wanted to take trips out of town, so she had been stuck there without knowing what else there was to do nearby. Roze looked into her cup of hot cocoa as the other girl stopped talking. "I see..." she said simply. She lifted the cups to her lips and took a sip. The cocoa was getting cold, in the end it'd be like thick and sweet chocolate milk.

Glancing out the window she watched cars zoom past. The streets seemed so lively so early in the morning. The brunette looked didn't pull her eyes away from the window as Claire begin speaking. Though her head did snap a bit to the side as Claire said something about a ride and a guy. She looked in the direction she was looking at. What a lovey dovey scene."They look cozy..." she muttered without meaning to. She didn't want to Clearing her throat she nodded and smiled. "A ride would be great," she said appreciatively. "He seems nice...and I guess the girl does too...I'm sure they're just real friendly." She hoped her lie wouldn't sound too fake.

Josh let his arms drop, and he straightened himself up. "No problem. If you get in trouble because of me I'd end up feeling way to guilty," he said casually. Now he felt more eyes burning the back of his skull. He turned around and found people staring, while others behind them looked like they were smelling something foul or tapping their feet impatiently. He rolled his eyes at them and shrugged. Fine, if they wanted to have an attitude over a situation they had no idea about then by all means, those people could be dumb-asses. His eyebrows shot up at the woman behind the counter. Even if they had been holding up the line, they were still paying customers. It was nice to know that Sophie could stand her own ground against such people. "I'll have a large chai latte," he told the woman cooly. Josh pulled out a crumpled twenty dollar bill from his pocket and put it on the counter. "I got here last and I'm paying. That was the deal and I like to honor my deals," he said with a charming smile. The woman took the money and gave him back his change. He stepped to the side and waited for their order to come in.

"I would NEVER let you take blame." She looked at him. She watched him as he ordered and gave money. "Okay, fine. I'll let you honor your deals." She smiled back at him. Waiting aside for their order she noticed that his smile was so cute. Cute indeed. Before she could say anything else, another person gave them their drinks and muffin. "Thank you." She sipped her Hot chocolate. "Mmmm. Yum. You wanna eat while we walk? Or Do you wanna stay here? Or hm. Whatever floats your boat is fine with me."She grinned at him and chuckled to herself. "Float your boat.. I'm gonna keep that one." She said laughing.

"Even you didn't I would still feel bad about it," he told her simply. Josh pushed himself from the counter and turned to get his coffee, not really paying attention to the person giving it to him but smiling evenly at the woman in the counter. No matter how rude she, or anybody for that matter, had been he still flashed her a smile and took the coffee. He slid one hand into his front pocket and sipped his latte. Sighing contently he closed his eyes and savored the sweet caffeine. Opening one eye to look at Sophie he sighed thoughtfully and opened the other eye. That was a creepy habit he had gotten from his dad. If somebody was talking to him and said something that interested him, he would open one eye and then the other. The brown haired boy didn't really think too much of it, it was just normal to him. "Would it be too much of a bother to stay here for a while?" he asked Sophie.

He laughed along with her. "You were half right to say 'good noodle', 'cause it's actually more like 'funny good noodle'," he chuckled. His hand ruffled her hair lightly like somebody would to do a child. Not to long ago she had been a stranger who he had randomly had an adventure, if it could be called that, out of school with. Now she was somebody that was always making him smile. 'Ah blooming friendships," sang his brain. Ah! Stupid brain, thinking up such corny things. But it was true, he felt like he had found a new friend with Sophie. With a childish smile on his face he sipped his latte.

Sipping her hot chocolate she saw from out of the corner of her eye Josh open one eye then the other. Sophie didn't want to say anything so she copied and moved her eyebrows up and down. "Hey good noodle is my word. Funny good noodle? Okay." She chuckled slightly at the word "Funny good noodle. When he ruffled her hair a smile grew across her face. "Why thanks for messing up my already messed up hair."Giggling she spoted an empty booth by the window. "Alright. Wanna sit by the window?!" Sophie liked to look outside a window and drink coffee. It made her feel relaxed. All she needed was some candles. Sitting down, she sipped her drink once again. She got him smiling at her. "Thinking of how nice I look today? Why thank you." She flipped her hair and gave a fake model smile. "Just joking."

Kyle was surprised that she brought up Homecoming, especially after he just caught himself thinking of it. ”Well as of yet I’m not going with anyone but I’d still like to go. I’m the kind of guy who loves to dance so I try to attend every dance. Of course it is always a lot more fun when you go with someone but,” He shrugged his shoulders and left it at that.

He thought about what she said about her uncle not letting her go. He didn’t think that was fair. She should be able to go if she wanted. But he did understand how parents could be. ”Well we could try to convince your uncle that you would be fine out there in the real world for just one night. If it would help we could say that I would be there to watch out for you. If that’s alright with you of course.” He waited to see what her reaction to that would be. He really hoped he didn’t say the wrong thing.
