Chloe opened her eyes heavy with sleep. She stretched across the bed the rolled over and tapped her alarm off on her iphone. She put her knees in her stomach scooting over to a cold part of the bed, after doing this the lights flicked on a sighn her mother was in the room. She pulled the purple and yellow sheets over her head hiding herself from the bright lights, as she was slowly inching closer to sleep, her mother and her two sisters jumped on the bed trying to wake her. Chloe pulled the covers off her head to see Leah's bright blue eyes and perfect smile, Chloe couldn't help but smile back at her, Chloe's mom suddenly grabbed all three girls hugging them after there group hug Chloe's mom grabbed the two little ones and threw them over her shoulder and exiting the room.

Chloe giggled skipping twords her bathroom , she needed to hurry for her first day of school. She quickly took a shower and dried her bleach blonde hair, she wrapped her hair in a towel and then took another for her body. She brushed her teeth and fumbled through her closet, that she had finally got fixed up, she finally decided on a blue dress, black tights, and blue ballet shoes.

After finishing picking out her outfit she grabbed a comb, hairspray, and curling iron plopped down on her little chair infront of her vanity and got to work with her hair. She curled it, kinda how models did it a bit of a wavy look, teased it into a perfect poof around the crown, and held it all down with a tad bit of hairspray. She put on her regular amount of makeup, base, bronzer, blush, masquera, and lipgloss. She put on a bit of hollister perfume and headed downstaires. She was almost down the stairs when Abbigail asked what she should wear. She looked at all the clothes she had layed out and sighed there wasn't a lot of really cute things. So she ran into her room, grabbed a long sleeved light green shirt, a pare of Abbigail's cutest jeans, and light green flats to match. She looked over her sister, her curly bleach blonde hair flowing over her shoulders, Chloe grabbed a green head band placing it around her sisters head giving her a very hippie vibe and smiled she looked great. After finishing with her sister they both headed down the stairs smelling waffles, toast, and bacon.

Chloe walked into the nook area sitting down in the black chair were breakfest was already layed out for her, Leah was 'eating' oatmeal which looked she got more on her face then in her mouth, and Abbigail ,skipping out on breakfest, sat in the family room and started watching Dora, which was Leah's favorite show, Leah smiled at the familer song and almost hoped out of her high chair. Chloe carefully pulled her out of her high chair, careful not to get anything on her-she was succesful! She smiled out of realief and drank her orange juice, grabbed a bottled water, a piece of burnt toast, and headed out the door. She was mainly excited because she got to use her car for the first time here, her mother drove it up here while she was still with her dad. She slid into her car turning it on, school started at 8:00 and it was already 7:56. Thinking of this she paniced and hurryed to get her keys out of her purse and starting her car, when it did music came blasting out the stereo which -oddly- calmed her down, she pulled out of the drive way and headed off to school. Once there butterflies filled her stomach as she saw the swarm of students outside just talking out in the parking lot. She pulled into a parking place, getting out of her car desprate to find Skyler.

Love [luhv]
- noun
a profoundly tender, passionate affection for another person.

♡ S ix in the morning may have been too early for Krysta to be up any other day, but not this morning. As her alarm beeped quietly underneath the new shirts that were folded atop the sound holes, Krysta was already downstairs, pulling on the brand-new, sparkly green knee-high socks she’d purchased at Bien Fait the day before after she’d departed with Mark after having a pleasant conversation about his hair, the police woman stalking him, Homecoming, and something else Krysta couldn’t remember at the moment. She had, after finishing up talking to him, found herself wandering up the little hill to the cute Victorian house again.
Giggling, Krysta pulled on a plaid miniskirt not quite the same shade of green, but equally pretty and also something only Krysta could pull off. After the miniskirt came a silky, flowy green camisole that almost matched the color of her socks. Krysta placed her hands on her hips as she studied herself in the mriror. The miniskirt and socks were sort of almost like an everyday outfit option. The camisole…not so much. It was a little too “grown-up” for Krysta’s style – though she could equally pull it off – and the only reason the girl had bought it was because it matched the socks. Shrugging it off, Krysta dove onto her queen-sized bed overflowed with both silky and warm pale green bedsheets and proceeded to digging through one of the neon-colored bags labeled with the little Goth/Emo-inspired store. Finally, after a few minutes of digging – the girl had had quite a shopping spree – Krysta found what she was looking for. Straightening up, she rushed the bureau-top mirror and hastily picked up her brush, brushing her hair thoroughly before raising the uniquely-designed headband she’d found on one of the counter racks in the store. It was shades of mossy green and didn’t go with Krysta’s outfit at all…yet. Grinning mischievously to herself as she thought of the perfect way to make all of the imperfections of her outfit disappear, the girl opened the top, smallest drawer to her bureau and – Viola! A whole, forty-two color palette of eyeshadow. She applied the green that was closest to her headband as the bottommost layer on her eyelids, and then the green of her skirt, and so on and so on…

♡ T en minutes later, Krysta had finished up a healthy breakfast of a strawberry-blueberry-watermelon-cream smoothie and a slice of fresh bread from the bakery down the street. Patting her still-flat stomach contentedly, Krysta slipped into her favorite pair of shoes – the bright green platform wedges she’d gotten for her birthday the year before. They were quite tall – adding a little more than three and a half inches to Krysta’s normally short height – and very Krysta. They also took quite a while to get into, as the stringy stuff wrapping around the ankles was confusing to steer your foot through.
“Bye Mister Neko!” she called over her shoulder to her napping Oreo-looking cat before shutting the front door of her apartment behind herself and breathing in the air outside of her complex that didn’t smell like new clothes and laundry detergent and cat litter.
Sighing contentedly, the girl began making her way down the elevator and outside of the apartment complex, starting her walk toward school as she didn’t feel like driving that day.

♡ A s she walked, Krysta looked around, from left to right and behind her, looking for someone she could talk to. To any other person on the street, she may have looked the part of an idiot, but Krysta didn’t really care too much about others’ opinions. Finally, spotting someone she knew from one of her classes in Serenity, Krysta grinned, adjusting her messenger bag strap as she bounded toward them, shouting their name.
“Chrrriiiiiissssstooooopppphhhhheeeeerrrrrrrr!!” she called after the brown-haired boy, waving and grinning widely as she bounded, almost bumping into an old lady in a walker as she tried getting to the boy’s side the fastest she could. When she finally did, Krysta grinned, straightening her back and placing her hands on her hips to catch her breath instead of bending over like normal people did. But that was Krysta for you.
“How are you this pleasant morning?” she giggled, knowing Christopher’s position and somewhat feeling that she should speak politely and properly in his presence. Again – just Krysta’s thinking.

User ImageHe nearly cringed hearing his name because of a couple reasons. But mostly because he didn’t like being called Christopher and second well he feared it might be one of those annoying girls that were only around him because of his status. They were so fake and superficial that he dreaded even being near them. And they were the type to shout out his name to try and get his attention. But he was glad he hadn’t cringed because it wasn’t one of those girls. It was Krysta, she was in one of his classes but other than that he didn’t really know her. Though he figured he wouldn’t mind talking to her. She was anything but superficial and fake. She really didn’t seem like the type that would just talk to him because of his status.

Hearing her way of asking how he was doing made laugh a little. Seriously who talked like that nowadays? He wasn’t sure if it was just how she normally was or if it was because who he was. It didn’t matter much to him though seeing that she seemed nice. It was better than walking to school alone he figured. “Tired…” he said before laughing a bit as he hadn’t meant to say that. “Good, but tired. I had to get up way too early.” He looked over to her as he spoke and then looked in front of him to make sure he didn’t walk into anything. “And how do you do on this marvelous day?”he asked playing around a bit, in a non mocking or mean way, somewhat copying how she had asked him.

Josh glanced over at her when Avery said she had stayed with her neighbor. He felt relived that she hadn't been along after the incident. If something like that had happened to him he wouldn't have wanted to stay by himself either. Jezabell would have been the first and only person he felt comfortable about calling over. "That's good...that you have somebody to go to," he told her. He jumped up eagerly and slung his bag over his shoulder. 'Yes! Chai latte here I come!' he thought. "Fellow poker!" he said. There were very few people he knew that would actually poke back...or poke at all! Josh tilted his head to the side and smiled as she giggled.

Taking the offered piece of chocolate he popped it in his mouth and ate it. "Thank ya very much ma'am," he told her. "I take it you and Lisa get along very well then?" Such compassion from a stranger seemed odd now a days. Especially with the older people, they seemed to always worry that the teenagers were going to burn down half the city. 'As if....we have better things to do!' Josh thought mischievously. The suggestion brought him out of his scheming thoughts. "That sounds like a plan then. Wanna walk? We've got some time before it's even close for school to start." He didn't want to push his luck on the car. These two days he had been lucky enough to race through the streets without getting in trouble. The boy jumped down the steps and waited for Avery before walking on to the coffee shop.

The whole flash of green stopped him in his tracks. That was some seriously bold clothing! Josh grinned, there weren't any girls who he knew that would have the guts to pull off something like that. Ah ha! He knew who it was now. That spunky little girl he sometimes saw in the hallway and then Mr. Popularity himself. "Hey guys! We're gonna get some coffee before school any chance we could convince you to join us?" he called as he waved to Krysta and Christopher. He didn't talk much to them but just thought it'd be for the best if he could start now. Hopefully this would get Avery to make friends around the school as well.

Amy woke up to a bright ray of light shining in her eyes. "I heard you moan, get up and get ready for school!" Amy rolled over, fell off the bed and hit her head on the dresser. "Ouch! Geez!" She sat up and held her head for a minute or two before standing up to get dressed. On her first day she chose a blue dress with slits in the ribcage and tan moccasins. on her way downstairs she looked in the mirror. After her mother had passed away she avoided looking in the mirror, all she ever saw was a glimpse of her mother. She held back her tears and continued downstairs to grab a bagel. Her father waved goodbye as she left the house and boarded the bus. She stared out the window and watched the trees until she got a sour feeling in her stomach. She remembered the day when she asked her father for a car, he sighed and told her he didnt have the money.

When she stepped off the bus she looked up and saw huge groups of people scattered accross the lawn. Her immediate reaction was to run in the other direction. But she stopped herself and walked up to a bench where a girl with black hair was sitting. As far as she could tell she was doing her homework. "Doin last minute homework, huh?" she said sitting down beside the girl.

Whisper bit her last piece of the crust off the pizza. After her food was in her stomach she smiled at Jayden. "It was good, thanks!" Whisper got up and went around to give him a peck on the cheek. She started to wonder what would happen after homecoming. Would her and Jayden go back to friends or start dating? She didn't know whether if it could have been more. Whisper put her arms around him while he was still sitting. She rested her head on his shoulder and sighed. "I think we should be getting to sleep. I'll take the couch if you don't have a spare room." Whisper gave him another peck on the cheek and walked over to the couch. She sat down politely and then swung her legs over so she could get some sleep. She couldn't wait for tomorrow. She'd go shopping with him but if Whisper was gonna ever go to homecoming with him, she'd have to get her stuff from her house. If she could even get inside with everyone in her way. Especially her mother. She didn't even want to have nightmare about her. "Night, Jayden!" Whisper said last minute before her eyes got heavy and she fell asleep.

Avery nodded her head, and felt a little better that she go tto poke someones nose, man it was a long time since she did that. "Well your very welcome mister" she answered, as she made sure everything she needed one in her bag. "I think i want a mocha" she thought, smiling that they were walking, she didnt want to go through the entire seat belt process and she wasnt really used to it. "Yes i do get along well with Lisa, she treats me like im her grandaughter" she said softly, thinking that maybe somehow Lisa could be her grandmother, it would be nice but it was just a thought she had. Walking down the steps, she saw a whole lot of green and couldnt help but stand in awe. "Woah, fashion statement, a total green person" she thought, walking the rest of the steps and was now standing next to Josh. Walking along with Josh, Avery had no clue who were the two students, she didnt definatly had no clue who was the girl with alot of courage to pull off such clothings. Looking at the guy, she had to admit he was pretty cute, but yet she countinued to crush on Josh. Not sure of what to do, she kept quiet not really wanting to talk unless someone else introduce there self first. "What happens if they already know who you are?" she wondered, and then she wouldnt have a clure who these two were and that wouldnt be very cool. Avery kind of had an idea who the guy was, his name started with a C and she had math class with him. The girl though was another story, this one was someone she never even saw before until right now of course. Avery decided it was best to just introduce herself first and maybe she would actually get somewhere with having friends. "Hello, Im Avery" she said, holding out her hand, she wasnt sure if she was doing the right thing, so she just kept her hand out and tried not to blush, feeling terribly stupid at the moment.

User ImageUpon waiting for a response from Krysta they were approached by two other people from their school. He was being invited to get some coffee. Hmm, just what was up with all these people who he had never really talked to talking to him all the sudden? He didn’t mind but it made him a little wary. He soon mentally reprimanded himself. Sure he had many reasons to be wary, but he would be like the people that he disliked so much if he didn’t even give them a chance. Plus who knew he might wind up making real friends if he talked to them. No he didn’t think he was above them, really he wished he was more like them. So eventually answered the boy, Josh he believed was his name. “Sure, I could use some caffeine.” He then looked over to Krysta. “Well, what about you Krysta? You want to go?” He didn’t really know her well, but he didn’t want to ditch the person who had been talking to him first.

Soon after asking Krysta he noticed that there was a girl with Josh. Duh, he should have noticed before after all Josh had asked if ‘we’ could convince him and Krysta to grab some coffee with them. Looking to the girl he recognized her from one of his classes. As she introduced herself he couldn’t help but smile. It was a nice warm smile and to help her not feel so awkward or he assumed she felt awkward or embarrassed at the moment he took her hand and shook it introducing himself to the girl. “Hey, I’m Chris. And this is Krysta.” Letting go of her hand the smile lingered on his face. “You’re in my math class right?” He basically knew she was, but it was a shot at maybe starting a conversation. Maybe today wouldn’t be as bad as he originally thought it was. Maybe it was a good thing he had been woken up earlier than he wanted to. But it was a little early to know yet. But he was willing to give this a try.

Avery now knew what the girl's name was, and knew who she was now. Avery only saw her in the hallways, she was one of those spunky time people, who seemed to get along with just about everybody. Smiling a little, and gld that the man who was Chris was nice enough to introduce the two of them. Putting her hand down, her smile was still on her face and she answered "Yes i am in your math class, pleasure to meet you both" Avery wondered why she never talk to Chris before, he was very nice and that smile made her heart skip a beat. "Oh my god, am i falling for Chris, already?" she wondered, thinking that maybe she was. She looked at the girl and her very nice clothing, she had to admit on this girl the clothes looked just right, on other girls it would probably look terribly weird. not knowing what else to say, she just kept her small smile there, and waited for whoever was going to talk first and just countinue on from there. Avery liked meeting knew people, she didnt do it very often since the fact she was way too shy for her own good and she wasnt sure how they would react to her normal clothing, this was something Lisa bought her, not something she wore everyday. Lost in thought, Avery snapped back to reality when she heard a dog barking not far from here, but she ignored it, trying to lose track of though again.

User ImageChris hoped that Krysta didn’t mind him introducing her. He figured she wouldn’t, but then again he didn’t really know here so who knew? And if she didn’t well he’d live and learn he guessed. He figured he shouldn’t worry about it for there wasn’t anything he could do about it now. For now he would just try and make sure to annoy anyone. It wasn’t sure just how well he’d do though for he wasn’t used to actually listening to anyone mostly since his friends only talked about what girls were hot, and things of that sort.

And then the girls all they cared about, in his group, was shopping and how they looked. He’d like to have real conversations. But since he was lacking in them he wasn’t sure just how well he would do. He was glad he getting a chance to step out of his crowd and talk with others. Honestly he didn’t care what his crowd thought of him, really he’d be happy if they didn’t want to be around him anymore. Though he always feared that because of who he was that people would only talk to him for who he was or they would want nothing to do with him seeing that he was in that horrid crowd.

There he was getting lost in his thoughts. Hearing Avery his thoughts went to her. She seemed like a nice girl, a very shy one though. Personally the differences were refreshing but he wasn’t sure exactly how to keep the conversation going especially when he didn’t know her or anyone else around him that well. “Ah, right. I thought I recognized you.” he eventually said trying to think something to say. Although he did want to get to know more about everyone there he found himself wanting to try and talk to Avery. But with all that was going on with his mind and all the issues he had he found himself feeling a little awkward. He wished one of the other two would say something.

If by chance it was just him and Avery he wouldn’t feel so awkward about trying to get to know her. For he felt he should pay attention to everyone and try to get to know everyone. “So what do you think of that class? Personally I think our teacher is a little crazy. And all that homework, insane…” Great now he probably looked like an idiot rambling about stupid math class. “Anyway…” he said rubbing the back of his head a little embarrassed with himself and how he was acting.

What do you like doing? Any hobbies?” Yeah, real smooth… ugh he’d shut up now. Still he let a small smile linger on his face. Even though he felt like he was acting like an idiot he liked that he wasn’t surrounded about his group. He liked that he actually was trying to pay attention to someone, he liked… basically this was nice. Looking to the other two he wondered what Krysta’s answer would be to tag along to get some coffee and he wondered if Josh had anything to say. He wondered if Avery would speak again. So, he looked back to Avery waiting for some sort of response from someone.

{OOC: It's understandable, don't worry about it. I hope my posts are giving you something respond to though... I fear I tend to ramble about nothing in my posts. I know I talk a lot about what my characters' are thinking and feeling.}

Avery smiled, happy that Chris was trying to make conversation, this just made her happier. Wondering if Josh or Krysta were ever going to speak up, they would just have to talk to one another for the moment. She liked Chris even though she didnt know him very well, he was kind enough to say something. The girl she wasnt so sure about, some girls rated other girls by looks, some by personality or just by the way they stood. Hoping Krysta wouldnt dislike her, she just smiled and answered to Chris. "Well Chris i do agree that there is way too much homework that pur teacher gives out" Avery could tell Chris wasnt like most guys, who only talked about vidoe games, sports, car, etc...No Chris was one of those kind boys, who actually cared about important topics. "He looks like he is runnign out of things to say" she thought, giggling at the thought he stopped himself from rambling. "I just think maybe the teacher is under stress, after all we are a big class" she countinued. Wondering if she had any hobbies, unless people would consider working at a coffee shop a hobbie. "Well Chris no i dont really have any hobbies, and well i do work at a coffee shop" this last part of her answer made her feel a little weird, almost shy again. Looking up, she still smiled and asked "Well how bout yourself Chris, do you have any hobbies?" Avery didnt fully understand if not waiting for the two reply was rude or that just something people did. In a way she felt kind of bad for not waiting, but she liked talkign to Chris. "Is he going to homecoming?" she wondered, thinking that maybe she wouldnt have to go alone after all, but she wouldnt keep her hopes up, not again.

Josh grinned widely. "Excellent!," he said at the answer from Chris. Good, just one more yes and he could be holding his coffee in his arms. It seemed like Avery and Chris were hitting it off pretty well. He himself was almost positive he didn't have any classes with these two, maybe he had one with Krysta but he hadn't paid attention or had probably had ditched it. He wanted to wait to see what else he could find out about Avery. Just yesterday he had found out the smallest of details and now there was somebody else wanting to know about what she liked. Was it a pang of jealousy he was feeling? 'Of course not! he thought.

The boy looked at Chris curiously and tried to get rid of what he was feeling. 'Great! Just great! Get attached to somebody who you know nothing about,' he scolded himself. "I wouldn't know about the teacher since I'm rarely in math...I get it and all, it just seems....boring," he said. There were so many other things he could be doing besides watching some stranger person telling him to add this and divide that. Like plan something! But his mind seemed to have shriveled up and died when it came to scheming.

The question on hobbies and such hadn't been directed at him, so he looked over at Avery and grinned. For some reason he wanted to know what she had to say, he wanted to know more about her. As he looked at her eyes something flashed in his mind. Josh was younger again, he was running around a chair and away from a little girl with black hair and eyes like Avery's. There were party lights, so he guessed that it would have been at one of the dinners his parents had made him attend as a child. But that couldn't possibly be Avery! He would have taken notice right away if it was somebody from his childhood. His hand went up slowly to the back of his head where, under all the hair, was a small scar from when he had fallen off his first dirt bike at the age of seven.

User ImageWho knows, I think it just comes with the subject. But I think our teachers give out more than most… but whatever.” He said smiling a little more once again glad that he hadn’t been rambling for nothing. She was actually talking with him, which definitely pleased him. This probably was one of the few girls he actually wanted to talk to so it was good. Hearing she didn’t really have any hobbies it made him wonder just what hobbies he had. He wasn’t sure for he was so used to what his parents wanted and what they made him do that he didn’t really do much besides what they told him to do. Well, nowadays he did a little more of what he wanted. He was trying to figure out just who he really was and what he really liked. Hearing Josh he looked over to him and nodded a bit. “It is pretty boring…” If it wasn’t for his parents he probably wouldn’t deal with all those classes that he already basically knew. But their control was very strong and overwhelming.

Hearing Avery answer his other question he found himself looking back at her. Really, just why was he so interested in her? Perhaps because she was different and refreshing. It was nice not to have a girl that was obviously trying to go out with him and well had no real brains. “I’m sort of the same way.” He said after a moment he paused before adding. “The only thing that would sort of be a hobby would be playing a couple of instruments...” He did goof around with a lot of different instruments though he didn’t think he was that good. But he didn’t really know when he had no one to really tell him how good he sounded.

Looking over to Josh he wondered if he was okay. Avery had been with him first. What if they were a couple… well he was just being friendly. Ugh, what was this feeling? Disappointment? Yes, there was a feeling of disappointment with the thought that Avery might not be single. But he felt he was acting silly. He had just met her. He obviously was interested in her and the more time he spent with he wanted to get to know her. But she and Josh probably already had a connection of some sort. Looking over to Krysta he wondered when she’d answer. He felt he’d feel a little less down if he was walking again. Whether with everyone to the coffee shop or just with Krysta to school, or just by himself to school… he just wanted to move a bit to get his mind away from the negative thoughts after all he could be just over thinking. Avery might be single and might be interested in him too.

"Jake!" Kassidy called halfway across their two-bedroom at her slumbering brother. "Hurry up your a** or you're walking!" She had a tutoring job in the mornings every other day. It was a tiresome thing for Kassidy, but it was just that much more money in their account to pay the bills.

Jake rolled over, grunting quietly, as he slowly woke. "I'll walk!" He shouted back, his voice muffled by his pillow. Granted, when he walked, it gave him only an extra thirty minutes to get ready, but at least it was something. He slowly sat up, rubbing the sleep from his eyes when he heard the front door close, indicating Kassidy's departure. Moments later he heard the car roar to life and speed off.

He slipped out of bed, shaking his head to try and wake himself up more, as he meandered into the hall towards the only bathroom. He groggily removed his clothes, which he had fallen asleep in on accident, and dropped them to the ground before twisting the water on and jumping into the cold shower.

"Braah..." Jake groaned, shivering at the first impact of cold water droplets as his hand quickly shot towards the hot water handle and twisted it, causing the water to warm exponentially. He quickly took his shower in the now pleasant water and then returned to his room clad in a towel. He opened his closet and snatched up a pair of blue jeans and a khaki colored t-shirt, before getting dressed.

Not long after, Jake was ambling down the sidewalk in front of his apartment building, heading in the direction of school with a fudge Poptart in his hand. He chewed slowly on the chocolaty goodness, savoring the rich sweetness. Nothing like some chocolate to start the day.

A soft humming caught his ear when he turned the corner. He glanced around for the source and saw a young woman walking in the same direction as he was. He only could see the back of her head, but she looked familiar. She's probably in one of my classes. He thought as he picked up his pace to see if he could catch her face and jog his memory.

Would they see a poor boy? No, siree
They'd find out
There's so much more to me
