Did anyone else notice that Sirius got hit with the stupefy spell and NOT the Avadra kerdavra (he got hit with a red light, not green...) So could he still be alive? *cocks head*

Well, just because the light was red doesn't mean it was a Stunning Spell. There could be multiple spells that shed the same light- for example, Patronuses are silver, but the hex Dumbledore puts on Percy, Kingsley, Unbridge, Dawlish and Fudge when he escapes is also silver, as is the light used to summon Hagrid. So the red light could be any spell.

That besides the point, Sirius dodged that spell, we don't know what the second spell- the one that hit him- was either, not even the color. We just know it was "a second jet of light." No reference to spells.

....but he's not dead anyways.

Seriously though, he may not have been dead when he went through the veil. But as I doubt Rowling has plans to bring him back, then he's dead in the sense that he's gone from the books. Only to reappear in thousands of fanfictions. 3nodding
