Welcome to Moonlight Magic a school for all ages and races built on the outskirts of Dublin Ireland. Every person has a spirit guardian these are animal spirits that can change into any animal at will and talk to you and share your thoughts. After receiving an invitation you and your spirit guardian decide to give it a try, who knows it could be fun?

The school is located on a small island in the centre of a large lake, across the bridge joining the school to the land is Dublin. The humans have no idea what the school really is, believing it to be a rich private school. When in the city the students and teachers have a responsibility to keep the humans in the dark. However with teenagers of all races you can expect trouble to happen.

✬I shouldn't need to say this but no posting till you've been accepted.
✬Swearing, romance and violence is fine but 1 try not to have every other word a swear, 2 everyone is entitled to fight back and 3 keep romance clean this means no cybering.
✬Don't kill anyone without their permission.
✬I am Goddess here and what I say goes.
✬This is a semi-literate roleplay so no using ** for actions. Use "for talking", for thinking and some form of brackets for OOC.
✬Posts can be as pretty or as plain as you want I don't care but unless it's for decorative phrases don't use any lower then size 12 font and no bright or pale colours like cyan or yellow as it is hard for some people to read.
✬Try not to go over two or three paragraphs per post. At the start when we're setting the scene and story long posts are fine but if every post is long then people get bored of reading them and stop roleplaying.
✬However we do need something to respond to so unless you've got a major writer's block do at least three sentences per post.
✬Let me know if you are going to be away for a while and try to post at least three times a week, I hate people who make a profile and then never post so please don't do that.
✬You can have as many characters as you want but only if you can handle them. So please don't make six profiles if you know you can only handle three etc.
✬As the story states this is for all races so please can we have variety I know they're popular but if everyone is a vampire I will burn a Twilight book so be warned twisted
✬PM all profiles as either 'I come to teach' or 'I come to learn'.
✬Put a ninja in your profile so I know you read the rules.
✬You can treat character's bad but in OOC please lets be nice to each other.
✬I'm pretty accepting with relationships but I do have this to say no teachers dating students. It's gross and there's plenty of other acceptable characters for you to date.

-Course work for Elemental Studies varies upon day to day, and upon Mr. Charleston.

Also, THE COMBAT AND DEFENSE CLASSES ARE SOMETIMES COMBINED. Two different classes and teachers, but working together sometimes, all up to Mr. Moon and Mr. Banistor.

Destiny (Or, the Festival of the Destined Three)
Destiny is a 3 day holiday in Magical Universe over three entirely seperate events that happened 1000 years and a day apart from one another, hence the Destined Three. The holiday runs from 9.21-9.23, running through the Autumn Equinox on the 22nd of September.

Day One: Creation Day (9.21)
This day is in celebration of Talon Crest (Or just Crest), the man legended to bringing the Magical World into existance. In fact, he did. Nobody knows how, as the magic is long lost. Some believe he made a potion, making himself invincible and superhuman. Others believe it was something he ate. Most go with the notion that he is a other-worldly being... Or just a Creator, some kind of mystical creature that no longer exists: One who created the realm (merged with the human realm, of course. Seperation come another thousand years and a day.) Nevertheless, he is a well respected man, Crest.

Creation Day is celebrated with a feast, one containing foods from all kinds of magical beings and their lands and cultures. Nobody is expected to hide their heritage. If you have wings, horns, etc, you don't hide them with clothing or spells during the day. Also, it is a day to honor your heritage. Many choose to wear more... traditional garmets. Or to prepare a traditional dish or something along those lines. It's considered a sign of disrespect to not only Crest, but your ancestors and the Magical Realm of which you live in to do otherwise. (Unless going out in public, of course. Anywhere where humans can be, due to today's environment.)

Day Two: Veiling Day (9.22)
This day is in honor of Nautica Dimeo (Dimeo), who was after Crest's time. At this moment, humans had been fighting with the magical creatures over equality problems and such things. The magical creatures had fled from humans, though the humans couldn't forget. Dimeo cast a spell upon the humans, forcing them to forget everything about magic and magical creatures. Of course, they had already written stories of these creatures, but wrote it off as simply dreams, eventually making Halloween in hopes to keep these evil spirits away. This ended up seperating the Magical and Non Magical Universes, though they co-existed with the Magical Creatures living in the secrecy they do today.

There has been speculation that humans are very slowly remembering, with the numerous books and movies out today on what they call "super natural". Harry Potter, Twilight, Darkest Powers, Artimis Fowl, and X-Men being but a few examples.

Veiling Day is celebrated with a formal, masked ball symbolizing the "veiling" in a way. Lively music is played, occasionally people sing. Very joyous times! The ball is more of a night time occurance, however. During the day, most spend time away from the humans to be with those of the Magical Realm.

Day Three: The Day of Knots (9.23)
This day is dedicated to Carson Willows (Willows), who was after both Crest's and Dimeo's times. He used no magic to accomplish what he did, but words, actually! His words drew the fractured and bickering Magical Universe together, ultimatly tying them together as a single, perfectly functioning unit. He is the reason Angels and Devils don't go into a frenzy when they meet. Willows is the reason why those of two magic parents get along fine with those who have one or even none. In a sense, he tied the Magical Universe together with knots. Knots being his words in speeches given that day.

Most people visit their families during The Day of Knots, or meet their friend's families. For those in boarding schools, families usually visit for the day or a portion of it. Group games are played, gifts are exchanged between friends and family, friends are often times made, and the Magical Universe drops all arguments and bitterness for a day of peace within itself. The Day of Knots is meant for a day of pure kindness.

Crossing the bridge into the "rich kid private school" was what looked like a rather normal teenaged boy. Eyes like stormy nights, and hair highlighted white, he stood tall as he walked with his black dufflebag in hand. Of course, it was safe to say this was no ordinary school, or kid, for this boy was a fairy. Yes, a male fairy. Don't act so surprised! You might not know it unless you lifted him up. He didn't even hit the 60 pound mark. Infact, his bag of textbooks and clothing and family photos and such weighed far more than he! And he carried that bag as if it were nothing at all, because to him, it was. That, and if he showed his wings, the dainty little red things they are, you'd know he was nothing normal at all.

"New year, baby! Woo!" The man's voice came from not him, but the red winged butterfly that flew above his shoulder. Nio was the teenaged boy, but his true name was Alexavier Luno Monochrome. How do you get Nio from that? His little brother kept saying 'Lunio' instead of Luno when learning his name. Nio simply stuck. He looked to his insect counterpart. "Solaris, it's just another year at MMS. Nothing to get overworked about." The butterfly gave an exaggerated sigh. "You're never excited, are you! You're just going to sit in your usual corner listening to me talk on and on about how much you need a social life or a girlfriend or something. Heck, I need a social life and a girlfriend! ...Can I even get a girlfriend?..." Solaris pondered a moment. "Well... Women love butterflies. So why not! Sexiest talking butterfly in the world right here!" Nio chose not to respond to that, only laughing quietly as he and the loquacious butterfly entered MMS, or Moonlight Magic School.

From there, it was lather rinse repeat, just as it was every year. Get the room key, get the class list, go find the dorm. Alexavier got P-1, standing for Private Room 1. A grin covered his face, as he had been waiting FOREVER to get a private room! No annoying roomates, no Solaris trying to chat up the other animal guide at 3 am like last year... Just himself and the butterfly he had been with since birth. About time, right? Satisfied with his rooming assignment, Alexavier walked up a few floors to his room, closing the door behind him and laying out on the single bed in the room. He forgot to lock it, however. Wasn't like someone would burst in. "Uuuugh... Why must we have the room to ourselves?" "So you won't talk to animal guides at 3 am, like last year." "So cruel... Well, I can just chat you up, then!" Nio began to groan a bit, unpacking his things as smiles plagued both him and Solaris.

Four bags, two backpacks, and a handful of papers. I collapsed in front of the school taking a breath as a small orange and black stripped tiger padded at my feet. "I know it's only a few more feet away." I sighed. He ran a few feet ahead and then came right back biting at my shoe. "Attacking the feet that are already sore won't help me move any quicker." I said crossing my arms. Peeking from the corner of my eye I saw the tiger roll it's eyes and quickly transformed into a human. He was tall with bright orange hair and deep blue eyes. "Fine, I'll help you carry the bags." he spoke. I smiled softly and took one backpack, one bag, and the papers from the school.

"Hey Kintaro, it says we'll be staying in room one with a girl named Reyna." I read."Sounds like fun. Wonder what she's like?" he asked carrying the rest of the items. Reaching the room we dropped everything in front of the door. I walk inside and decided to claimed the bed farthest from the window. I collapsed onto the bed as Kintaro looked around. I closed my eyes for a few moments when I felt a body climb over me. Opening them again, Kintaro was starring down at me with ocean blue eyes. He chuckled before transforming into a small tiger again. I stroked his fur scratching his favorite spot behind the ear. He purred as I thought about what to expect.

Later I'll go check out the cafeteria.
Tell me what kind of food they have, okay?
Yeah, yeah. Then we can look for our classrooms so we don't get lost.
And look like newbies. After all you didn't transfer in the first year.
Shut up, you're making me nervous.
Nervous in a good way?

Reyna and Leif

Reyna walked across the bridge that separated the school from the city she had her spirit guardian Leif on her shoulder as they entered the school. Having come here ever since she was 13 Reyna was used to the new school year routine; you arrive, you get your room list and class schedule then go unpack. This year she was in S1 which stood for shared room 1 her roommate seemed to be a girl named Kyomi Haruka. "I wonder what she's like?" She asked Leif who shrugged snoozing slightly from his position on her shoulder.

As Reyna reached her new room she saw her roommate had already chosen the bed furthest from the window, it only took a glance to see she was older then her roommate. "Hi I'm Reyna and this is Leif." She said smiling as she went over to the window bed. Reyna dumped her suitcase on her bed taking a look at her new room. Though this was her fifth year at Moonlight Magic she could never guarantee where her room would be. The rooms and roommates changed each year even the floor the rooms were on changed. Then again what would you expect from a magic school. As Reyna unpacked her rather lazy spirit guardian slept on the bed, blowing a strand of hair from her face Reyna chucked a shoe on the bed to wake Leif up. "I know you can't help with unpacking but do you have to taunt me by sleeping?" She asked crossing her arms in annoyance. To which the kitten turned over on his back so his feet were in the air. "Yes.." The spirit guide said lazily before going back to sleep.
