[Ryu Shido]

Shin walked towards the cafeteria. "Dang overslept," Shin thought, "O wells late breakfast." On his way he saw a teacher. "This guy....I know him," Shin thought, "He's very familiar." Shin was about to pass the man, but just at the moment they passed, Shin pulled out his staff to strike the man. Missing, Shin dashed backwards to gain distance from him. "His presence....is fire," Shin thought, "No doubt its HIM." Shin stood in a battle stance. "Its you isn't it?" Shin said loudly.

Yamato began walking back to his office. "Wells, off to day 2," he thought. Yamato saw a young student. "Heh, i know who this is," Yamato thought with a grin, "Its Shin Kazama." As they passed, Yamato didn't move at all. His body was made of fire, so Shin basically hit nothing but a flame. Yamato turned to face Shin and said, "Yea, its me. The Edge Master of Fire." Yamato pulled out two swords. "You'd probably know me better as Ryu's master," Yamato said cooly," Isn't that right, Shin?"

shley walked to the cafiteria with her stomach rumbling she went inside and wispered "ah im hungry......." then she saw both of them fighting and herd "You'd probably know me better as Ryu's master" ashley saw in amusment and dumbfoundedly and said "ummm shin and who is this"

[Ryu Shido]

Shin noticed Ashley walked in. "Ashley, this is one of the 5 Edge Masters. Each one controls a particular element given by the gods themseleves," Shin explained not daring to let down his guard. "This one controls fire and he's also Ryu's master," Shin said, "My rival's master." Shin charged foreward swinging his staff in all directions. "Falling Dragon, Rising Phoenix, Drum Roll!" Shin shouted as he tried different techniques on Yamato. Shin backed away after missing each and every time. "If i can defeat you, i'll be able to defeat Ryu right?" Shin said.

Yamato grinned as Shin struck him. He didn't bother blocking. Everytime Shin struck him, his body turned into a flame, and clearly a normal staff like Shin's could not hurt fire. "Perhaps," Yamato replied, "Ryu has gotten much stronger since he trained under my wing." Yamato finally whipped his swords in unison. "I shall test your strength and see if you're any match for him," Yamato said, "Come on."

ashley dvanished frfom her spot and appeared behind shin and said "shin do you want to react or battle this yourself oof course i am a weapon"

[Ryu Shido]

"No... This is my fight," Shin said, "I won't back away even if he is one of those masters." Shin charged foreward and in an instant, was cut by two of Yamato's blades. Shin yelled in pain as he fell to the floor. He picked himself back up, drawing his staff once more. "Damit, we can't be this different," Shin thought, "I won't let my ambition slip away." Shin stood twirling his staff in his hands. "Ashley, don't help me. Whether or not i die, i want to do this on my own," Shin said. "This is it, do or die, sink or swim, Greatest in the world or death," Shin thought.

Yamato stood fast as Shin charged towards him. Using the ancient arts, Yamato used two quick, non-lethal slashes to Shin's body. "Why don't you stay down?" Yamato said, "Why do you try so hard, yet achieve so little? Is it ignorance of being bested? Or something more?"

As Shin rose, he said, "It comes from ambition. I refuse to give up my dream." Shin struggled getting up for one last final technique. "I may not have a prayer, but i'd rather die than give up," Shin yelled in defiance.

Yamato looked at Shin with a look of equality. "Very well, Shin," Yamato said as he prepared himself, "I will honour you and strike you with my full force."

The two clashed weapons and both were left standing behind one another. Bleeding severly, Shin turned to Yamato and dropped his broken staff. "Wounds in the back are a warrior's shame," Shin said. Yamato struck him once more in the front and Shin fell to the ground.

ashley ran to shin and picked him up looking at yamato and looked at shin thinking "has ryu been this strong" ashley didnt know what to do to take shin to the infermery or kill yamato

[Ryu Shido]

"Never, did i think this would happen," Shin thought as he closed his eyes. His staff was broken completely.

Yamato sheathed both swords and began walking away. "You did well as his friend...," Yamato said to Ashley, "To let him fight his battle to the end.....I avoided his vitals, he'll live. You should probably take him to the infirmery." Yamato looked upwards. "Shin, you can beat Ryu one day!" Yamato said loudly facing away from Shin and Ashley, "Fight with all your heart, mind, body and soul. Train hard, understand the world and mind to best this old blade, fierce one!" Yamato took one last look at Shin. "I shall train you, starting tommorrow," Yamato said, "Farewell."

Shin coughed loudly. "Dam...it," Shin said slowly. He slowly began to pass out. "I....will....never....lose....again....," Shin said before blacking out, "Mark my words....Ryu."

ashley carried shin to the infermery and while this she though "ah he could of wanted to react with me we wouldnt be in this mess, im just a weapon and if he wanted hel i would of sung a stronger song to help but just normally he would of acted with his own will power" then ashley walked himin the infermery and put him on the bed and pulled a chair over so she could stay next to him

[Ryu Shido]

Shin lay in much pain. As he slept, he began to wonder how well Ryu did on his first time against the Edge Master. Shin opened his eyes slowly. He saw Ashley by his side. "Am I alive?" Shin said, "Did i win? What happened to my staff?" Shin began to rise, but stuggled.

she looked down on shin and said "yes shin you are, you know i could of reacted with you just so you would get another weapon i wouldnt do any thing but just see like i did" she hugged him tightly on her cheast and said "you made me worry so much" she said then she let go

"I know, but i had to try on my own," Shin said, "I've got to prove it to myself, even if that means i die." Shin hugged Ashley back. He looked in dismay and cursed his defeat. "Well, it wasn't a complete loss, i'm still alive and i plan to get stronger everyday," Shin said finally, "Sorry i made you worry, Ashley."

"I dunnos, i want to train, but these wounds are pretty deep," Shin said, "I'm afraid of them opening up again." Shin tried to smile. "I'll come watch you though," Shin said. He clutched his stomache. "Dang, it hurts to talk," Shin thought.
