Avalon, I am here and ready to start a new year if you want to relaunch to role play. You might just want to allow people who are currently active to do a flashback post in order to close up what they are currently doing and be ready for a new beginning. smile ))

(((It turned out we only missed 15 pages and most of it was personal dialog between two characters so we could very well just move right along).

The majority of us have voted on starting again coming out of summer break. I think it would give us plenty of leeway to tweak the characters (summer is a time of change!) And it would be a valid excuse as to why some characters are no longer among us. I do like the idea of having one flashback post regarding what happened to the characters over the "summer". Characters that interact heavily would have to consult with each other if they wanted to involve another character in the flashback post ie: Holly and Avalon's summer would have to be compatible).

I'd prefer to start over on a fresh thread though. The pictures are all down and nowhere to be found on my computer (it recently crashed) so it gives me an excuse to update them a tad. Also I think the number of pages might intimidate potential newcomers, or disappoint them when they find out we haven't gotten very far. While I work on the new thread and post we could update our profiles (resubmit them?) and begin our flashback posts? Respond in the thread please!

The only person I haven't heard back from his FMO. MirrorImage hasn't been on in months so I don't expect a reply from them either.

The flashback idea would enable people who are updating their characters to explain to the other players why or how the changes happened. I agree that people whose characters are involved with others might need to consult with each other before posting their flashback.

((I'm more than up for it. If everyone decides to make a new character though we'd be better off restarting the roleplay from the beginning. Breeder's already resubmitted his profile. :O It's all up to you guys. I'm happy either way. I also think that, for the restart/reset it would benefit us to post our character profiles in the OOC threads on our own posts. This way, you could edit them as needed. ))

((Just finished gathering up all the pictures, I managed to salvage most of them but some places have extensions and arenas. Could someone else try to reach FMO to see if they plan on rejoining? I'm going to start working on the new threads. 8D So excited!

Don't forget to work on your flashback posts if your old character is coming back. Let me know when you guys decide if you want to do a restart or a "coming back from summer" situation.

For all discussion about the restart please keep it in -this thread-. I'd rather avoid confusion. When I approve your profile you can post it in the OOC character thread. You can find the link in the new thread I've linked to above. The requirements have changed somewhat so I suggest you use the new profile form. It is mostly the same but fewer classes are required and some dorm numbers have changed. biggrin ))
