                                                      • DATE: SEPTEMBER 6TH
                                                        TIME: 6:30 AM
                                                        WEATHER: SUNNY WITH HIGH WINDS.

As soon as the sun’s rays touched ground on Lestava Territory, the day had immediately
begun for the occupants. However, due to fall approaching much quicker than originally
anticipated, the heat from the sun was no threat to anyone due to guest of winds blowing
through, just chilly enough to make goose-bumps ride up your skin. The day couldn't have
started off any brighter – or chillier.

Already waiting for the students to wake up and make their way on other to the main campus,
Kaede stood at the bottom of the dormitory stairs with an delighted grin plastered on his face.
In his arms rested the official schedules for each and every student that he was assigned to
handing out as well as answering any questions that the students may have. to ask. He was
almost certain that most of the student body would come to him with complaints and fits of
anger after everything that had just discovered, but he was more than happy to assist as
much as he could. That was, after all, his job as a counselor.

                                                        . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .

On the main campus, the faculty were already up and getting down to business. Teachers
were heading towards their mandatory classrooms; deans were walking around the courtyard,
preserving their energy if an trouble happens to stir up once students arrive, and any other
members of the school board were probably running around in search of their precious
Headmaster Luron. Yes, once again, Headmaster Luron has gone missing and all - but one -
remain unaware of his whereabouts. The one to know where this troublesome principal disappeared
off to, Luther, kept his lips sealed shut, knowing that if he were to spill the truth then his best
friend would hold a grudge and give him a mouthful. Getting scolded wasn't Luther's cup of tea
and he wasn't about to start sipping on some now.

At the school's main dining hall, Ariella and Natsume have gathered to help each other in
setting up breakfast meals for the students to enjoy before the start of their classes. Ariella
was the one in charge of decorating the table and making sure it has all the right appeal. Luron
was a man about first impressions and it was one thing that mattered to his academy no
matter where it was located on campus. While the Librarian had focused on that, Natsume
scurried back and forth between the kitchen and dining room to place foods on the long table
that was located in the center of the room. The type was similar to a buffet restaurant. It held
several different types of cuisines usually suitable for a breakfast meal and hopefully good
enough that even the students would enjoy. If not, then Natsume felt more than determined to
cook up something herself if it meant making the student feel more at home.

With the schedule going according to play, the only necessities left were two things: the headmaster
Luron, wherever he could be, and the students.

When morning came, Claire was up and dressed without delay. Normally, she found waking up in the morning to be a slow and difficult process, as her magic use to interfere with her sleeping schedule quite often. She use to always feel tired. However, with the bracelet in control, she didn't feel the common effects of her magic. She was wide awake and more alert. To be truthful, she had been up since about 5:00am. A bit of ruckus from outside had woken her, much to her surprise after finding herself to be such a heavy sleeper before coming here. It had most likely been a few faculty members whom had awoke early to prepare things for the students. But, after the scare she had with the human yesterday, she wasn't really that eager to find out. Instead, she had spent her morning, up until now, reading.

The time now being 6:30am, Claire was adjusting her uniform while examining herself in a tall mirror. She had never really worn a uniform before, but it honestly didn't feel much different from some of the pieces in her wardrobe. It was neatly pressed and quite cute, simply to give her own opinion. After adjusting her skirt, she took one more look into the mirror, doing a light twirl to glance at the back. Nodding in approval of her adjustments, she walked over to her bed, which was still unmade, and slid a few books into her school bag. She was actually taking this entire situation a little better this morning. A good night sleep had calmed her nerves and she felt more in control of her emotions. She still didn't like it, but having thought about it a lot since waking up, going through with it may have been her best, and maybe her only option. There was nothing to be gained if she lost her composure, or if she were to simply whine about it. If this place was to be her home for two years, then she would deal with it some how.

After packing all of her books for class, she closed her bag and lifted it to let it hang on her shoulder. It was time to go out there and see how things unfolded. She looked back at the room behind her when she approached the door. If she were able to stay locked up in this room, maybe it wouldn't have been so bad. However, she had to push that thought to the side and force herself to move forward. So with that, she turned the door knob and slowly exited her room.

Looking around as she entered the hallway, she could hear other people getting ready, while some were already dressed and heading out just like she was. The girl's side of the dorms seemed less chaotic, not that she knew how it was over on the male side. It just wasn't what she originally pictured in her head, which was a relief. Perhaps this was a positive sign- minus the humans. Releasing a small sigh and clutching the bag on her shoulder, she soon began making her way down the hall and to the staircase. When she made it to the bottom of the stairs, she had been handed a sheet of paper by the school's counselor. He seemed quite bright and chipper for someone who had possibly received plenty of disdainful looks from other students; those who were still bitter about yesterday's revelation. Though his mood seemed comforting, she didn't exactly admire his current position. Dealing with difficult situations like this merely seemed like it would be a pain in her opinion.

She didn't want to waste much time at the dormitories, so she would read her new schedule on the way to the main building. Examining the paper and it's contents, her eyes landed on her first class listed for the day, which was History: The Schism. This caught a little of her interest as she thought back on many books she had read regarding the subject. Most of the books she had read had been written by witch authors, so she didn't exactly get many chances to read from another point of view. Very little, to no human made things made their way into the witch communities, so being here sparked her curiosity. Surely Lestava, being a place where all of these different races dwell, would have books written by many authors whose books had never been in her hands before. She was a little hungry, but this knew found curiosity was overwhelming. She had to take a look at the school's library first, so she took a small detour as she entered the school's main building.

Finding the library wasn't much of an issue, and it seemed completely empty when she peeked inside. This was good, it would provide less distraction. Entering the large room, she quietly shut the door behind her and took a look around. She would comment on how it wasn't as big as her family's personal library, but with the prospect of new books occupying these shelves, she couldn't complain. Walking down one of the aisles, she glanced at the many book titles that were labeled on the book spines. Just as she thought, these really did look like books she had never seen or read before; this was a little exciting. She wanted to read them all, but first things first, history books. It might be a good idea to find one or two for future references in her first class, aside from the one she would be using already.

Searching the shelves for history books, she quickly found them and spotted one that looked quite promising. However, there was just one tiny dilemma- her height. The book she wanted was on a fairly high shelf; fairly high in comparison to her own reach. She was 5'2” and even her heels didn't seem to boost her high enough to reach it. Seeing no ladders around, she stood on her tiptoes and reached up as high as she could, the book being just out of her reach. She could try and jump for it, but how would that look if she were to fall by chance in her attempts? Pretty funny to someone else maybe, but not to Claire herself. After her last attempted, she lowered herself back down and sighed, “Of all the places you could be... Why up there...?” she questioned out loud, honestly believing she was the room's only occupant.

'One million, seven hundred and sixty three thousand, two hundred and twelve…one million, seven hundred and sixty three thousand, two hundred and thirteen…one mil-‘ a click, perhaps inaudible to most, and his concentration was gone, the numbers he had been counting to dispersing before fading from his conscious mind. It hadn’t been the first time he had lost track of the rising numbers, however it would be the first time since awakening that he would not start to count again. He’d been awake for hours it seemed, staring at the top of the bunk above him, counting quietly in his head. The other two occupants of the room were sleeping soundly still, while he lay awake. It had turned out that one of the males from the prier day, the one that had spilt milk everywhere, including all over him, was one of his roommates. He doubted it had anything to do with luck.

Finally pushing himself up from where he was laying, enveloped in a soft glow that breeched through the window and splayed across the room, Atlas began his the morning routine, albeit minus quite a lot, that he would do had he been at home. Grabbing a new set of cloths and towel, he disappeared out the door to go claim a shower head for himself. He was tired, as much as he disliked being so, but it wouldn’t stop him from going about his day as though he was lacking his normal energy. He wondered, quite frankly, if the bracelet, which was still firmly on his wrist, was causing the sudden lag in energy. He felt it could be possible, as he hadn’t felt so low even when sleeping less than he had the night before.

The shower refreshed him, leaving him feeling more ready to face the first day of classes than he had before. However, it still didn’t mean he held much enthusiasm towards the day to come. After returning his items to the designated place, that he had organized yesterday, and hanging his towel on an area to dry, he began to gather the items he would need for the day, which actually wasn’t much. In fact, all it was, was a small, paper back book that fit perfectly in the back pocket of his jeans. Going over his area of the room, actions quiet as to not wake his roommates, although one would think he wouldn’t care about such a thing, he exited the room for a final time that day, although not before checking the time. 6:31

Upon descending the stairs, he paused midway, eyes already locking with a practically giddy man, whom he assumed to be a teacher or at least some sort of staff member, waiting at the bottom with a hold on many papers. Taking a quick glance behind himself, Atlas confirmed that the male was in fact, waiting for him to finish descending the stairs. Just how his luck was going these days, really. Sighing to himself, he decided to get through whatever was going to happen, quickly. As he finished going down the steps, he was faced with the man, whom turned out to be the guidance counsellor, and given a schedule. Not waiting for him to continue with whatever spiel he was planning on presenting, he quickly exited the dorms.

The last thing he wanted to do at the moment was actually go to where, no doubt, there was to be a mass of people. Deciding, he shifted his path to that of the library, excited, although it wouldn’t show, to visit the area in the school. After entering the main building, it was like he had already traced the path a million times before, his feet taking him to the room full of books without any help from his mind. Upon arriving to the library, he found it quiet, however he could sense a slight shift in the room that told him that someone was in it already. He could probably get away with not running into them or so he hoped.

He wove through the shelves with a practiced ease, going just the speed as to be able to scan the spines of a few rows as he went. There was a many that he could look at and recognize but a vast amount that he did not. It sent a nostalgic wave passing over him, causing him to miss his home dearly in that moment. This nostalgica quickly dissipated however, as he turned an aisle and found another occupant in it. A short, silver haired girl, attempting to reach a book that was well above her head, stood in the row. Approaching her, he tilted his head to the side slightly, observing at first before moving and reaching past her to pluck the book from the shelf easily. ” Here. “ He muttered, holding it out to her, eyes steady on the girl before him. He wondered, dismissively, what this girl was. He doubts, highly, that she is one of the few humans around.

Her day had started off horrible and only continued to get worse as the hours flew by. Firstly, like the rest of the students, they were all lied to than none other but the Headmaster and his faculty of non-humans misfits. Next, after she managed to finally attempt at befriending someone, Claire had up and left he in the middle of conversation. The chat had started off just fine, but after rambling on for some time, Celestia couldn’t help but believe that she had frightened the poor girl by talking so much. Was she that annoying? There went her first chance at a friend and now she lacked any confidence at all at forming friendships with others. The only part that seemed somewhat of a relief to her occurred when she returned back to her assigned dormitory room. There, laying out on one of the top bunk of Celestia’s bed was another female – Tennille was what Celestia had learned her name to be. The brunette hesitated before trying to speak a word, but gathered enough courage to give the blonde a small smile as a greeting. Within minutes, the two of them were able to establish that they were both humans. That was the only positive highlight of Celestia’s day and for a second she had felt a glint of hope for the school year to be a good one. However, when the third and final roommate made it to their room, Celestia’s paranoia began again and she wasn’t sure what to think of Narika. Sure, she did come off as harmless, for being an astral spirit, but Celestia didn’t want to get too far ahead of herself. After all, she was already lied to enough ever since arriving at Lestava.

Warm morning kisses glowed on Celestia’s fragile face as she slept peacefully. As the heat of the sun’s warmth loomed over her eyes, the girl’s brown orbs began to flicker open. Just by the sight of the upper bunk’s frame, she realized that Lestava wasn’t a dream like she had hoped it’d be by the time she awoke from her slumber. Slowly, her head turned to look at the time. It was nearing 7 AM, which meant that breakfast was currently being served. As she kicked her legs off the bed and remained sitting, Cel contemplated on attending her morning meal or not. It’s not that she wasn’t very hungry, but the thought of having to eat in the same area as a bunch of non-humans didn’t settle well in her mind. She wasn’t the type to want to cause problems in large crowds, but if someone had tried to start an issue with her there, what could a human do? Running away would be her only option, but it wasn’t like there was much land to run to. She’d be found eventually, and most likely by a non-human, too.

Not wanting to wake either of her room mates, Celestia quietly, but quickly maneuvered through her room, gathering a few things such as her uniform and scarf and then swiftly making her way out of the door, making sure to close it as softly as she could so it wouldn’t disturb Ten or Narika. There weren’t many students lingering in the halls, in fact, she could only assume that many of them were still sleeping or already enjoying their breakfast. The silence that bounced off the walls started to ease Celestia’s worries. There wasn’t much to be afraid of as long as she kept her distance from anyone that was a non-human, excluding Angels, right? She didn’t like to be alone, but she felt like it was a necessary exception that had to be done to be able to survive the school year. ‘It’s only for one year, anyway.’ She thought to herself as her lips curled into a small, awkward smile as she entered the female’s bathroom.

Just like the dormitory corridors, the restroom was cleared of any students. Without any hesitation, Celestia began changing into the school uniform, struggling with the skirt as soon as she slipped into it. She knew that it was much too short than a regular school uniform’s skirt would be, at least from where she came from. Once she gave up on trying to fix her attire for a suitable length for the skirt and then adjusted it how it was the first time, she slid on the black jacket, and then wrapped herself up in her signature red scarf. Celestia was unaware if accessories like her scarf were allowed, but no one had told her anything about it yesterday. She only hoped that it’d be fine to even wear while in uniform. Before she concluded her time in the bathroom, Celestia took one long look at herself in the mirror. She wasn’t sure why, but after seeing how beautiful Claire had looked in front of her, she only felt more self-conscious about herself now. Claire had features that could leave a man speechless or highly interested in her after just once glance, whereas Celestia, she was usually seen as simply as sister-figure. It never bothered her much, but now she had felt like she was lacking in something, but what was it? Gently, she pressed a hand against her cheek as her thoughts wondered, trying to seek for an answer that could help out, but there was nothing. There was nothing that seemed like the perfect answer. There wasn’t even anything remotely close to satisfying her need to know. It was just her, alone in a bathroom filled with invisible questions and silent answers.

Back in her dorm room, Celestia remained silent. She tossed her pajamas onto her bed and then grabbed her shoes and her school bag, making her way out of the door again, hurrying as quickly as she could. Down the stairs and into the lobby, the guidance counselor had stopped her, handing her the class schedule for third years and then reminding her about a few things such as what time the meals are and then what time curfew and lights out occurs. It seemed more than delighted to inform Celestia about all of this, although for the moment she couldn’t really find it in her heart to respond back with anything but a frightened smile. She could already tell that he wasn’t a human merely because he was a part of the faculty, and everyone there seemed far from human. Maybe part human, but not entirely.

Wanting to hurry and escape before any other students made their way down the steps, Celestia gave him a light nod and smile of gratitude and then made her way out of the dormitory doors. The chilly winds found their way towards her as soon as she stepped outside and started sending chills down her spine and throughout her body. She wrapped her arms around herself, trying to re-heat her body from the cold. She had completely forgotten that Fall was already approaching and pretty soon the weather would be cold enough that even her scarf won’t do much assistance in keeping her cozy. What made her feel more concerned was the fact that she was already in the Academy’s winter uniform, but it would remain of no help to any female students. At least the males had pants to keep their legs warm.

Down the path that made its way onto the main campus, Celestia took a moment to gaze at the ocean. The dormitory had a perfect view of the sea and she had just realized that she didn’t bother taking any time to glance at it yesterday. When her caramel orbs lay upon the vast of blue, they widen in awe. It was beautiful. She didn’t feel such amazement from the ocean while being a passenger on the boat to Lestava, but looking at it from a higher point of view left her speechless. Her mouth fell open, wanting to make out some sort of sentence that could perfectly explain how she felt from looking at it, but there was nothing. For a moment, she wished that her parents and friends from the human civilization could have been here to watch the view with her, but then immediately regretted the idea. For now, Celestia loved this moment that she was spending all by herself. Having others with her would have made it fun, too, but she didn’t believe that the others would feel the way that she did right now.

With classes starting still awhile from now, Celestia knew that it would have been fine to just remain still for a little longer. There were still students who haven’t even woken up yet, so there was plenty of time that could be spared for sightseeing. She promised herself that once students started to pass by, then she’d start to hurry on to classes. Plopping her bad onto the ground, Celestia sat as well, holding her knees close to her chest and wrapping her arms around them, but keeping her eyes on the sight in front of her. Maybe Lestava wasn’t so bad after all.

Location: Library | Company: Atlas | Mood: Curious | Outfit: | Voice:

Just as she had almost considered giving up her attempts at trying to obtain the book above by her own means, a familiar human like figure appeared in her peripheral vision. She jumped slightly as the male appeared without any warning whatsoever. She didn't even hear him approach her, nor did she hear him enter the room moments ago, as she had been so focused on reaching for the book above. Taking two steps back, to avoid getting in his way, she lifted her gaze to watch as he plucked the book off of the shelf with little effort. He was significantly taller than she was, so reaching a shelf of that height looked all too easy for this person.

Watching him lift the book from the shelf and bring it down, she found herself pausing for a moment when he held it out for her to take it. She was quick to bring herself back to reality, however, when she realized his intentions were to assist her, “O-Oh, thank you.” she said, trying to maintain her calm and proper composure as she spoke words of gratitude. She was trying her best to act upon her resolution to accept the circumstances she was faced with, by remaining at this school. Facing the people here were merely a step forward, as long as they weren't human.

Accepting the book, she reached forward and gently took it with both hands. She then opened the book and flipped through a few of the pages, her eyes darting across each one for a few seconds at a time as she scanned over various passages of text. Examining the last page she flipped to, she nodded with satisfaction before closing it, “Ah yes, this will do quite nicely.” she said, more to herself than the other person that stood before her, “I really do appreciate it.” she added, shifting her focus back to him now. Holding the book to her chest, to peered up at the male. She wasn't exactly the timid type under normal circumstances, so eye contact wasn't much of an issue.

The male seemed very familiar; however, after replaying all of the events within the last twenty-four hours or so, she was able to pin point exactly where she recalled seeing him before. He had been one of the males that had fallen over on the dormitory's staircase yesterday. He had looked quite a bit more intimidating at the time, but he didn't look as cross this morning. Taking a moment to examine his features, she noticed all them of seemed quite human like. It didn't necessarily pin him as human, however, as most, if not all, of her own features were human like in appearance also. This made her ever curious, yet still a little cautious. The girl from yesterday ended up being a human, one she would surely avoid from now on. What was this person?

She tried resisting the temptation to ask, she really did; however, her curiosity was one to eat her alive if she didn't act upon it eventually, “Please forgive me if this seems a bit forward of a stranger- or even rude, but...- Might I inquire of your race? Merely out of my own curiosity of course.” she inquired, trying to word it as politely as she possibly could. Normally, it could have very well been a bit rude to ask, given the state the world was in; however, perhaps under these circumstances it would be ok to show a little curiosity. Surely there were some here who chose to be cautious just like she did, and avoid certain races they feared or had ill relations with. She had been taught no different, as she was sure others weren't either, “Might you be a non-human?” she asked, her hold on the book in her arms tightening a bit as she showed slight hesitation with her next question, “Or, are you perhaps a- real human?”

Her unease might have been a little easy to perceive when the word human fell from her lips. She was hoping her luck wasn't so terrible that she would run into two humans so soon, one right after the other. She would just leave again if he was human, or simply lie through her teeth if she could manage. If he wasn't human, however, perhaps she'd be able to talk to this one. He didn't exactly look very talkative, but perhaps he enjoyed literature like she did. Who else would visit the library, so early on the first day of classes, if books weren't the first thing on the mind?

OCATIONDocks // Auditorium // Dorm Room OMPANYTau [ her familar ] // Sera OOD Annoyed // Angry // Happy to see an Old Friend

The sun was bright in Zola's eyes and she slowly woke up. On the edge of her bed Tau perched his head nodding ever so slightly while he snoozed. With a contended sigh Zola got out of bed and stretched, a million and one thoughts swirling around in her head at the idea of the first day of school. Feeling her stomach begin to do flips and her breath begin to shorten from nerves, Zola closed her eyes and started to take deep breaths. At sensing her nervousness Tau woke up stretching out his wings.

Now, what do you have to be nervous about this morning?” he squawked irritably.

Zola glared at the bird “Yeah, good morning to you too. And for your information, today is the first day of school in a literally mixed race school...So, yeah I have a lot to be nervous about...” As much a she loved Tau he could defiantly be a pain in the butt. After their little argument Zo started to get ready for class, making sure she took a quick shower and then put on her school uniform. Staring at herself in the mirror both Tau and herself tilted their heads as they stared at herself at the mirror. Tugging at her uniform, she began to feel very self-conscious about her weight for the first time in her life. Never before did she feel uncomfortable about her curvy body and sometimes she loved it, but right now as she stared at herself there was something about her curves that felt unappealing in the uniform.

Jumping up and gliding onto her shoulder Tau nudged his beak to her cheek “You look fine, stop being so hard on yourself.” Though that made her feel a little better, the feeling still lingered him the pit of her stomach, which was empty at the moment. Checking the time Zola gauged that she had enough time to quickly grab something to eat quickly but the first thing she wanted to do was scope out the library. Quickly taking inventory over her school books and making sure to grab her tarot cards just in case Zola opened the window for Tau to fly out. “I”ll be keeping an eye on you from class to class.” he said as he hopped over to the window sill “Have a good day of school!” and with that he flew away.

After she closed the window, Zo grabbed her school bag and made her way out of the dorm room. There were a lot of people as she left her dorm room and it started to make her a little uncomfortable, as she self-consciously tugged at her uniform. Making her way out of the Dorm building Zo noticed that the teachers seemed to be in a rush themselves, it was good that she wasn't the only one running a little behind. Finding the library wasn't hard at all, and as she opened the door inside she was greeted by the familiar musk of old books and wood. A smile played at he lips as she stepped inside. The library wasn't as big as the one she was use to back in New Orleans, but that was to be expected in a school library. Being back in a library was very reassuring, especially being in a place she unsure of.

As she roamed around the library, Zola made points of where she would be frequenting in the soon to be future. Turning a corner into the history section, Zo saw two other bibliophiles a boy helping what looked to be the girl who fell a sleep on the ferry in. Taking in a deep breath Zola decided to try and make contact with the two of them, they seemed to like books what could it hurt? Walking up to them she put on her best smile “Um. Hello, my name is Zola Tsholofelo. I see you guys like book.”.

The day had soon turned into night, and from night into morning. The female drakon had slept in that bed, with all the heaters for more than 15 hours; for certain. It wasn’t just because of her race, but it was because of jet lag (yes what a weird thing for someone who is supposed to always be flying around and changing time zones), another reason for her drowsiness was because she had felt sick, especially with the loss of her powers. Before the crack of dawn, two eyes flashed open to show extraordinary mauve colored eyes, with a yawn, Seraphine had woken up. Her head quickly snapped to view the current room she was in. Her roommate was still sleeping, and so was a strange thing next to her, it seemed to be a bird.

”At least it’s something that I can live with. Birds are nice; they fly and have a good sense of direction.”

Seraphine thought to herself, and quickly jumped out of bed and turned off the heaters, the moment she did so the coldness hit her like a blast of wind had hit her. Goosebumps crawled from the top of her back and towards the bottom of her body, all the way to the feet. The female quickly went to her closet and took out the uniform, with it in hand; she went into the shower, attempting to be as quiet as possible so she wouldn’t wake up her roommate. Yesterday she was rude, which was a bad way of meeting something for the first time.

”Today, I think I’ll talk to more people and be nicer. Hopefully.”

All her life Seraphine didn’t know how to properly talk to strangers, she was always raised around those she actually knew, so of course this sudden change of environment would probably change her a bit. After about fifteen minutes, Seraphine walked out of the bathroom, her hair already almost dry and the uniform on her body, fitting perfectly with her small curves. It had been a dream of hers to wear a school uniform, and luckily these uniforms were cute, the skirt was a tad bit shorter than she preferred, but it would have to do. Silently putting on her shoes, Seraphine took another quick glance in the mirror and headed out of the dorm room, closing the door as quietly as possible, and made sure to lock it. Just to show some curtsey.

”Just…just where exactly are all these classes?!”

A paper in hand, showing the class schedule of every day Monday-Friday and also showed the bed times, or at least the time to be in your room by. Sadly, there were no room numbers on the paper, so most likely this was a way to talk to people and ask questions, possibly even get a way to be more open to other races. A sigh escaped Seraphine lips, and she walked around for a bit, it seemed that most others were still sleeping, especially since it just happened to be six in the morning, normally being awake by this time was normal for her. Normally, drakons awoke a minute or two before the sun broke through the horizon, and natural light flowed onto the valleys and oceans, and in this case, the school island. For fifteen more minutes, Seraphine was just walking aimlessly around, luckily more and more people started to wake up, but she didn’t ever get the chance to talk to some, and currently, she had no idea where her cousin was. So she was all alone.

”What a strange thing loneliness can be. I’ve never experienced it like this before.”

Back when Seraphine still lived in the mountains, aka just a week ago, she was alone; most of the time becase her family were barely ever home. Though, she had never felt lonely. The cave, rocks, and the occasional trees and animals kept her company; also the freedom to fly at her will was enough. Now she couldn’t do anything, and especially her favorite thing. Just two days ago she flew around freely and had had her powers to command, now the headmaster decided to be a sly genius and take away her powers. At least she has the same heightened senses as before, so maybe it wasn’t all bad. Just the flying part being taken away was horrendous.

Turning a corner, and being completely lost in thought, Seraphine recovered her focus and looked around. It was a dead end, and that was when she realized she was lost. Lost in the damn dormitory!! Like, how does that happen?! As she turned around, she heard foot steps echoing, not a single pair, but several students, possibly even teachers. Now most of the people on the campus were probably awake, and teachers had begun being hectic and rushing to their classes. Seraphine, who was at a lost, decided to follow some students, apparently they were heading towards the dining hall. By the time the female reached it, the food filled her nose and that’s when she realized that her stomach was growling and she was famished. Not eating for more than fifteen hours would starve a person, especially a person who needed food every three hours or so. Sera quickly got into the food line and grabbed her breakfast meal, of course it contained the usually greekish foods. On her tray there were strudels, two greek fritta’s, and sausages to fill her up. This was to only keep her satisfied until lunch, which would probably be an even bigger meal. With her food, Seraphine grabbed greek coffee, but to the rest of the world people would know the name as ‘turkish coffee’, this was a way for her to sit longer and just think of what to do for the day. Seraphine slowly made her way to an empty seat, sat down, and began to eat. Savoring each and every bite.

              MOOD : nervous, but playing it cool ! ██████LOCATION : going to get food ! ██████PARTY : N/A !

As if sensing the sunlight peeking in through the curtains every now and then, Ryou stirred slightly in his bed, shifting around under his blankets before slowly popping his head out from underneath, yawning loudly as he started to become more coherent. With a soft groan and a frown, he rubbed the sleep from his eyes before looking to the alarm that he had set up next to his pillow the night before. He didn't know about his roommates, but he thought it'd make sense if he had his own alarm so he wouldn't become a burden for them in case he overslept.

Blinking a few times, he did his best to focus on the time pictured on his alarm, staring at it until his eyes stopped burning. Once he could see the time clearly, his brow furrowed at the display that read 10:30. He tilted his head some in confusion. That .. couldn't have been right .. right? When Ryou had finally climbed into bed last night, he had practically knocked out right as his head connected with his pillow. But even still .. would it even had be possible for him to have slept so long? He narrowed his eyes in thought. " Wait a second .. "

Didn't that mean that classes had already started ... ?

              ...

              " .. shimatta! "

Fighting briefly with his blankets, Ryou proceeded to throw them over the edge of his bed before following shortly after, landing in a crouch before quickly grabbing a change of clothes and a towel and rushing out of the room to boys' shower, cursing softly the entire way there. After the quick shower - which actually didn't last that long because he had wasted his time looking around the bathroom with awe because wow, that's fancy - he haphazardly threw his things onto his bed before grabbing his things and putting them together for the rest of the day. Since he didn't have an official schedule yet, he had no idea what classes he had already missed. He just hoped that that guy with the flame tattoos wasn't going to be one of his teachers. That would be horrible if he already missed that man's class.

As he left the room, he took a deep breath. Maybe he could play it off? If it was between classes right now, then no one would know the truth ... except for his roommates, he supposed. With a soft frown, he descended the stairs, slowing his pace some at the sight of the faculty member at the bottom. He blinked at the stack of papers in his arms that was combined with the excited grin on the man's face. Ryou eyed him warily as he took the offered papers and then walked off, ignoring whatever he might've been saying. He wanted to ask what class period it was right now, but the small unsettling feeling he got from the faculty member made him decide against it, so he walked off without another word.

As he made his way to the main campus, Ryou glanced around at all the students that were walking around. He panicked internally a little, but played it cool. If all these students were around, then didn't that mean it was lunch time? It would make sense, since he woke up late and no one seemed to be in class right now. ' Sweet! ' he thought with a grin. He was getting kind of hungry anyways. Humming lightly, Ryou slipped his hands into his pockets and started to make his way over to the dining hall.

Books. Books were practically everywhere. All over the bed he called dominion over. There was even a book resting flat on the face of the blue haired teenager. Settling into his new environment wasn't difficult. Claiming a space in the dormitory felt easy enough. There were four spaces but only three would be occupied. For him the optimal location was being close to a wall and up high. That way no pranks could be pulled on him. Why was Edaj even worried about that? Well wasn't that the thing people did when rooming with others? Someone was bound to be picked on. Statically speaking he had a one out of three chance of being the target. Inwardly Edaj prayed nothing of the sort would occur. It created a hostile atmosphere and for once he wanted to get along with his peers. This of course was a two way street. For this academic year his main goal was to create as many relationships as humanly possible. Quite a task for the teenager. Perhaps it was time to rise and shine. The walls may have seemed thick enough to keep out noise but the closing of the door (not once but twice) was enough to cause him to wake up. Greeted by the beige pages muffled moans echoed from behind the page.

Once again he mentally thanked the great good that no one was around to hear him. Shuffling under the covers slightly he felt slightly constricted by the books. Maybe he shouldn't have brought so many with him. A good chunk of the travel bag was filled with mystery novels while the rest was either clothing or hygienic tools. Slender fingers eased the book over to the side of his head and away from his face. Fresh air was now entering the nostrils of the Tatsuya male. Well as fresh as could be in a male dominant dorm room. Glancing around the room Edaj attempted to get more acquainted with his new surroundings. To his surprise one of his roommates was still in here; strange since he heard the door close twice. Perhaps someone came in late then left again? While he pondered this his eyes fixed on the male. The actions his dorm member took were quite peculiar to say the least. You could even say that he baffled him immensely. Deciding now to interact with him just yet Edaj waited for the male to leave. Resting his head back on the pillow he allowed his eyes to close. His thoughts drifted to his schedule for the day. Originally he planned on exploring his new location a bit more in depth however food proved to be a better course of action. Least to start off the day.

Hearing the door shut for the third time Edaj perked up once again.‘I should be safe to get up now. Hopefully there isn't someone else still in here. Not ready to interact with people quite yet.’ Finally alone Edaj set the books into a nice stack against the wall. Hopefully they would not fall between the ever so small gap between the wall and bed. Covers flew off him in a swift motion. With his legs now dangling over the edge of the bed Edaj attempted to wake himself from his energy less state. Yawns escaped his parted lips in rapid succession. ‘Looks like the coast is clear for now.’ With that the bluenette allowed gravity to take over, pushing himself slightly and landing on the floor with a minor thud. For a split second a smile formulated on his lips. ‘I’m sure the judges would have given me a perfect score. Right...?’ Rhetorical question which needed no one to answer, of course they would have. Peering over his shoulder he spotted his jet black travel case. Walking over he knelt beside it. Unzipping it with ease he plunged his right hand into the bag. Feeling around for something suitable to change into he retrieved a nice clean pair of under garments. If there was one thing that was certain it was that he enjoyed walking around in boxers and an under shirt. Unfortunately he wasn't able to do this so he wore pajama bottoms as a cover. He was sure that other boys his age did a similar thing. There was something so freeing about it. Alas rules were meant to be followed.

Taking care of his personal hygiene Edaj returned from the shared bathroom feeling fresh as a daisy. So to speak. Having changed into a decent attire he prepared to set off. Climbing back up onto the top bunk he began making the bed up. Once everything appeared in order Edaj returned back to ground level before heading out. Once in the hallway and the door was shut tightly behind him, the blue haired teenager eyed the students that roamed the halls. 'Should I commandeer a conversation and step in? No that wouldn't be wise. Something to eat first then I'll try conversing.' After the miniature debate with himself Edaj began moving in what he believed to be the direction of the cafeteria. His memory was excellent however even he wasn't too sure where everything was positioned. Give him a full day of exploring and he'd be able to do so marvelously.

Eventually he wandered into the dining hall. Students filled the room in small patches. Some were forming groups at tables and in various standing positions while others sat at scattered tables. Edaj sympathized with those individuals as he was very used to doing such an act. Or skipping meals at school all together in an attempt to avoid awkward conversation. Today would be different. It had to be. Strolling to the line of students he waited until he was capable of picking up a tray. On there was a glass of milk and an apple. All he basically wanted for now. With the task of acquiring food completed his brain told him to head back to the dormitory. No he couldn't do that now. Searching for a free spot he eyed the students. Settling on a spots slightly adjacent of a female he walked over towards the table. Hovering over the seat he stared at the girl for a fraction of a second before looking off to the side.

"Sumimasen. I mean excuse me. Do you any issues against me procuring this spot?" Perhaps procuring wasn't the best word to use but when you had the vocabulary sometimes things just flowed out. "May I sit here?" With the tray already placed on the table Edaj only waited for her response. Even if turned away the satisfaction of interacting with someone was sufficient enough.

                                                    A ship.

Now that really did not make sense, did it?

The best transportation for a harpie would be their wings, for any kind of location. After all, the wings of a harpie where its pride and joy to use. If this was a school for a harpies for Christ sake, they would just fly there, who needs the ******** ship? More or less it was being annoying because of all the people that were puking or just freaking out. A sigh escaped out of Calliope Dimou's lips, a certain harpie which was apparently forced to attend a boarding school for her own kin, eventually agreeing to go, only because her parents were so persistent about it. But really she should have had shown some strength of character and demand to do her own thing, now that the girl with the pigtails thought about it. Ah well, there wasn't much that she could right now. Running away is never a solution, not for someone as prideful as Calliope, plus she was not allowed to fly away from the boat as well. Oh just great.

The sight of the dock was really a relief for Calliope. As soon as she got to step at the stable solid ground, she could feel a smile forming on her lips. But really her hardships did not just end here, they continued all way up to the academy, only to be handed with a bunch of boxes. It's not that Callia was going to just carry the thing around, really. She emptied it's contents into some empty bag, after making sure that she had worn the "student identification" bracelet. If it was indeed a an identification bracelet. Once she wore it, it made the red haired female feel kind of weird. As if she was weak due to some sickness. The feeling lasted a few second, but still Callia found it totally weird.

A few minutes later the gates closed, and the faculty ushered everyone inside of the auditorium, Calliope followed orders unwillingly. She got inside and once she sat at her designated seat, her green eyes focused on what was in front of her. She demanded explanations, and she was hoping that the headmaster would give them all. Or else, she would have to make him do so. Putting one leg on the other, the female waited patiently for the speech to begin, which was soon enough. She hardly reacted to the appearance of the man, she was expressionless and cold. She wasn't going to focus on the unimportant part. What was important, was what the man was going to say; Calliope was 100% sure that she wasn't going to like what came next. And oh, how right she was.

That ******** a*****e had tricked them all. Every single one of them. This was not a school for harpies, and maybe each person here thought it was a school for the same kin, which of course didn't happen. She clicked her tongue at the man's words, wanting to punch him with all her will, if only she was able to. But Calliope acknowledge the man for one thing; that he was smart, and had it not been for that, nobody would be fooled. And that's something that made the headmaster rise a spot in Calliope's respect list. Only a little though, because Calliope was hell of pissed. Plus, with those stupid bracelets, her pride, her powers, would be reduced to zero, just because of the stupid humans around here. As if Calliope would ever care to hurt a bunch of humans. Just as the headmaster finished his speech, Callia could only realize that it was going to be a hella of a long year. And most of all, one of the worst years she would ever spent on her life.

Calliope grabbed her belongings and rushed out of the building, emitting a dark aura as she kept walking. Even the birds flew away at the sight of the crimson haired girl. Calliope kept repeating again and again inside herself that she should calm down, like a mantra or something, but nope, nothing happened. With quick stepping she rushed towards the dorms building, towards room 203, her assigned one. As soon as she got inside the room, Calliope crushed the door behind there and looked before her, only to see a long white haired female staring at her. Their conversation was really laconic to say the truth. Calliope said 'hi' and the female said 'hello' back at her. Afterwards they introduced themselves really fast like with only saying their first names and nothing else.

Her roomates name was Zephyr and she seemed like a good person, and with good person, she did not get in Calliope's nerves. Most likely they were going to get along. Calliope left her luggage at one spot and lied down on her bed, staring at the ceiling."You are not a harpie right?" she asked, hoping that she would at least room with one of her own kin. Nope. The answer was really expected, but it wasn't really a question if you think about it. More like a rhetorical question. "Those ******** tricked us all." Calliope said and gritted her teeth. Taking a small glance to her roomated, she noted a small smile on her face. "....they so did..." Yep. They so did indeed."I swear. One of these days, I will kill every single one of them."

                                                    TIME SKIP WOOT!

Green orbs slowly opened only to stare at the pure white ceiling above. It took only a few seconds for Calliope to convince herself that she was not dreaming anymore. She was away from the harpie community and her parents, enrolled on a school that she shouldn't have, forced to spend the rest of her school year there. It sounded like a nightmare really, but it wasn't. It was reality, the reality Calliope wanted so much to escape, but it was impossible. Patience is not a virtue that Callia posseses, and seriously she doesn't even want to have it. How is she even going to survive this school year?

Slowly and steadily, Calliope stood up and headed for her luggage to retrieve her toothpaste and toothbrush, and then towards the bathroom. She did not rush with brushing her teeth, actually she did not want to rush with anything. Calliope just wanted to die already. Back at her room, the moment she got inside, she noted that Zephyr was still asleep, but Callia completely ignored her. She proceeded in wearing her school uniform and then combing her long crimson her, and then wrapped it up in black ribbons to make pigtails. She took one final glance of herself in her pocket mirror, and stood up, ready to go.

Zephyr was still asleep. Calliope was surprise how the female didn't wake up with all the noise she made, but she really did not care. She wanted to leave the room and begin her oh-so-perfect first day of high school, yet an inner-debate just made her frozen in that spot. Somehow, she had a feeling that if she doesn't wake her roomate up, she is going to stay there sleeping for the whole day. That would not be very nice, would it be? Plus, she wanted to get along with people, even if her personality made that impossible. Clicking her tongue, the girl with the pigtails approached the sleeping figure, placing one hard on her roomate's shoulder."Zephyr." she spoke, no emotion in her voice and blinked a couple of times."It's time for you to wake up."

ooc; sorry for the lame post!
