"Yeah I did...I'm over here in the crystal ball," she said waving. Her transparent body shone as she introduced herself. "I'm Beryl...Beryl Lightwing. That empty bed next to you is--well, used to be--mine...I wanted to see how everyone at the school was doing..." she trailed off.

Beryl's body went more transparent as she explained, "I was killed a few months ago." The waterfall roared behind her. "Long story short, I fell in love with another student here but I was in an arranged marriage, so my parents tried to force me to go back home. A fight ensued, and I sacrificed myself to save him from my parents. Now I'm in a clearing in the forest behind the school...it's where he buried me." She looked down, thinking of how Ben had felt carrying her limp body to where they had first kissed...

Thana looked at Beryl and almost started crying. She sniffled and rubbed her eyes.
"Wow. That's so sad... But... why are you in that ball?"

She pointed to her necklace. "This necklace keeps me tied to him...it's the only reason why I'm not in the spirit world. It was a last-ditch incantation I used to get rid of my parents."

As Natsume wasa walking again, she licked off the remaining blood on her fingers. After all of that blood that she had, she assumed that she won't start having those cravings for quite a while. She felt a bit tired as she was walking around and started having a craving for some milk. She decided to go to the cafeteria and get some milk.

Thana nodded at Beryl. For some reason she understood perfectly. She looked back at Sig and smiled. Tears were still streaming down her cheeks.

The soreness is what seemed to hit him first. He pulled himself up so that he was sitting and yawned. He looked over at Thana. "Morning, for me at least. So....how long was I out?" He asked. He was thinking about trying it again. He'd be knocked out cold but he would could free Thana of the chain with one more good charge. "Hey Thana....I know I just woke up and all...but if I do that again I may be able to get the chain off." Sig said, implying that he was willing to try again.

Thana looked at Sig and smiled. She then frowned and turned over, looking straight at him.

She started, but then frowned. She just kept staring at him, she couldn't finish.

Thana looked at Sig, worried. She was worried about what would to both him AND her. She knew that she would probably transform into something that nobody would recognize, and her own personality would be... gone forever. There was a huge chance that it would happen.
"But... I.. might..."
She couldn't finish her sentence, afraid that it might hurt Sig. She didn't want her chain on anymore, but she didn't want to lose herself in the process.

"Well, if you want it to stay on I can do the same of repairing the chain. But I only have enough energy to do one. So I guess it's your decision. I'll like you no matter what you choose." Sig said as he smiled. He was willing to do whatever Thana desired.
