Maria glanced at Karagura as he talked about how the mall was strange to him. She didn't find anything abnormal about it in the least. Her family had always been a main part of society and she had gone to a pretty big college with many cute guys who all took a liking to her and her singing. A picture of Henry popped up into her head and she felt herself blushing and reaching for her belly. "I'm sorry, Karagura, must be awful for you to be with me right now."

"No it's not terrible, I guess I'm just not used to or suited to this kinda place. I like forests." He shrugged. "So, do you think you're almost done?" He asked Maria, hoping not to sound impolite.

Ben woke up. He got up and got dressed. Then he decided to fly to the waterfall and see if he could find more pearls for Beryl. He thought that he would need at least ten, nine plus the one she has, to make a bracelet and at least twenty for a necklace. "Well, better get to it." He thought aloud as he flew towards the waterfall. When he got there he found two pretty quickly. "Wow, there sure are a lot of these." He thought. But then he had trouble finding more.

Cryistal blinked rapidly and laid her cheek on Stark's shoulder, her silver eyes still trained on the bird girl. "Angry? Oh no. I'm not angry, not at all. Just a little... preoccupied." She glanced at Stark and brushed up closer to him, her lips pressed firmly together.

Maria just made a few more purchases and turned to Karagura, her smile ever present. "I'm done now. Thank you for coming along with me. It's been a while since I've been on a... a date." She bit her lip, not knowing whether or not it was the wrong this to say.

"Well," Lazulixia replied, "The school's doors have been open for about 5 or 6 days now, and classes have just started. The students are relatively civil, thought there are some that choose to be a bit rambunctious at times. Have you met any of the other teaching staff yet? They are very friendly, so you won't have much to worry about."

She sighs in relief. "That's good. But another problem is that everyone thinks I'm a student..." She looks down at the uniform that was forced on her at the entrance. "I hope that once I get into some of my own clothes I won't look as... immature." Misha laughs gently.

"Ah, yes," Lazulixia responded, nodding her head. "Perhaps I need to 'loosen up' a bit as well..." She looked at her own clothing, noting that she was fully covered from neck to foot with the except of a small 2-inch bit of her thighs between the top of her tights and the hem of her skirt. She adjusted her high collar and laughed as she said this.

"Anyway, the other teachers reside down the hallway in Dorms 6, 7, and 11. I reside in Dorm 9 if you should wish to contact me at all." she ended with a smile to hopefully make Misha feel more at ease.

"Thank you, I really appreciate it." She smiles and nodds.

"Me too. Haven't been on one since... back then." He didn't get sad, he just paused a little bit. He still wondered how old she was to have had a husband and been divorced but didn't want to ask, it would be rude. Maybe he could bring it up in conversation. "So, shall we head back to the school? Or is there another place that you wanna visit?" He didn't prefer either.

Ben kept searching and went into a cave behind the waterfall. He was able to find eight more. He thought aloud, "Ok so plus the one that Beryl has, I have 11... I'll keep searching so I can make the necklace." He went back under and continued his search for clams and pearls.

Beryl smiled, thinking she was okay. "Oh, all right!" she chirped.

I'm not so sure she's so preoccupied as she claims, Beryl pondered. I was simply at the wrong place at the wrong time, and now I've got to watch my back. Great, I'll probably get pounced on when Stark's not looking!

Stark put his hand on Cryistal's shoulder and said "Listen, babe, this is all just a big misunderstanding. Don't try and kill her over our love" he insisted pressing his kips against hers. "Take it easy, hun..."

"It's no problem at all," Lazulixia responded. "Let me leave you so you can get changed. After you're finished, would you like me to show you where your classroom is located? I understand this building can seem a tad massive at times."

After about 30 minutes of more searching he was able to find seven more pearls. One of them happened to be very large. "This should be enough." He thought. "I'll go find Beryl Now." He flew back towards the school going fast and once he got inside he started to glide around at a medium speed, searching for her.

Maria paused for a split second as they left the mall. "I'm done here, actually. We can head back. I have to come up with a new lesson plan for one of the students." She didn't feel right when she thought of giving away Paradox's name. He was, after all, merely unfortunate. As they entered the school building, she gave Karagura one more hug, for good measure, and smiled at him, knowing he liked her smiles.

Cryistal watched Beryl closely, wondering what it would be like to taste bird-blood. Poisonous, probably. Lysander had warned her about drinking any other blood but human's. Beryl looked a little worried and she flashed her fangs just to see if the girl would flinch. There was a big chance that she would be the most despised person on the school campus just because she was a vampire.

"OK then, let's head back." He started to walk out of the mall and down the escalator. The escalator's kind of creep him out. Moving stairs? But he was ok with them now. He got to the door and held it open for Maria.

Beryl saw Cryistal flash her fangs at her. Is she trying to scare me? she wondered. She may seem creepy, but I believe she has the capacity to be nice. Besides, she doesn't know me very well yet. Beryl gave her a friendly smile, hoping to ease the tension between them. It was in her nature, after all. All doves, especially the Lightwings, had the most patience for others who might not have as much.

Ben finally found Beryl outside Stark's dorm. He flew over to her. "Hey Beryl, where is the pearl I found and gave you yesterday?" He said hurriedly. Then he looked into Stark's dorm for a second. In his mind he made a mental thumbs up.

"That'd be great. I'd love that." As her guest leaves, Misha turns to finish unpacking her bag. She pulls out about 20 stuffed animals she places around the room and 3 cats jump out of the bag. Two black cats and one white one. They all begin to jump on the bed, squealing and mewing. Misha pulls out her sheets, pulls the animals off the bed and begins to dress it with CareBear sheets, covers her pillows the same and covers it with a full warm plaid comforter. She took a deep breath and it already reminded her of home. She feels the weight of the exhaustion, undresses and runs for the shower.
