He seemed sincere and it must have been difficult to lie telepathically. She wondered what she should say. Something cheesy to go along with his candy-hearts proposal? Or something utterly and completely honest? Must have been tough being an only child, I have to say, she thought, her top hat sliding over her eyes. I suppose I could be your girlfriend. It would be fun. I could only see everyone's faces when they realized that! She pulled out a card from her pocket and made it levitate over her palm.

'Thank you Cryistal. You won't regret it!' he said to her telepathically. Then he stood up, grabbed Cryistal's hand, and said "Guess what! This fine vampire here is my girlfriend now. If you don't like it, tough!"

Maria patted Karagura's shoulder and smiled at him as they walked through the various aisles that littered the department store. She found the coffee-machine aisle eventually and she browsed through the different choices, a frown spreading across her lips. The prices were high and there were so many good choices and she was busy racking her brain for what exactly she would need. Something good, and probably expensive...

Cryistal's face had turned a bright red and she leaned into Stark until they were only a few inches apart. "Not gonna bloody regret it?" she nearly screeched, her eyes wide and pale cheeks flushed. "Are you bloody daft in the head or... or..!" She shook her head and tiled her top hat back--all the better to glare at the human boy who was now, officially, her boyfriend.

Emilie's eyes had widened at Stark's announcement and she couldn't believe that the human had decided he wanted to hook up with the only creature on campus who probably wanted to eat him. She quickly looked away and down at her gloved hands which she wrung together constantly. It was simply... strange to her.

A viel of shadows fell from At'la's form as he Awoke. He noticed the students Immediately. "Oh, I'm sorry class, I fell Asleep... It's during the daytime, and i'm not used to being Awake." He turned out the electric lights, favoring oil lamps suspended by their own Shadows. " I didn't exactly have anything planned for today, so we're going to read a bit from the master Himself." He made a little motion with his fingers, and a row of books came off a shelf, and distrubeted themselves amongst the Class. He sat back down in his armchair, lifting his own Book. "Turn to 'The Tragedy of Romeo and Juliet', who would like to read First? And yes, that is English."

Stark sat back down, let go of Cryistal's hand, and turned to the desired page. 'I thought you wanted to see everyone's reaction when they found out we were together' he said telepathically to Cryistal.

Cryistal sat down and opened the Shakespearean book and stared at the first page full of roles and the like. Her reddened face was taking back her white pallor and she blinked slowly, her mind chewing on the Old English text. Lysander had made her practically memorize them during the two years she lived with him. Yeah, I wanted to see their reactions, but not in the middle of a class! she hissed to herself.. or to Stark. She glanced at the teacher and made note to ask him why he wore such flamboyant clothes, though she rather liked the older style herself.

He kept looking around but then he remembered, he didn't have any money! He started to look for Maria, to see what she was looking at buying. Once he found her he said, "So, what are you looking at buying?" He asked her, trying to start some conversation, since he was broke. He still felt stupid for not exchanging his money.

Romeo and Juliet? Beryl thought as she opened her book. Ha, sounds like my life right now. An arranged marriage with an undesirable partner, a love at first sight, and the two cannot be together; how ironic could the situation get?

'Okay then...You wanna make out in the hallway then? I think that would get peoples attention' he said to her telepathically. 'Gawd I hate Romeo & Juliet. I've heard it numerous times and it's getting to the point of cliche now' he thought.

Maria had mused around until she found a good coffee pot and some Brazilian coffee beans when Karagura magically appeared at her side again. He looked rather worried and confused. She smiled at him and pulled out her shopping list. "All I need are some curtain, decorative rods, pillows, blankets, and a jumbo-sized towel."

A smile twitched at her lips as Stark proposed the idea of making out. That would be fun, if you don't mind locking lips with a vampire, she told him.. thought to him. The idea was still weird and rather confusing, but it was interesting to know someone who could read her every thought... then she bit her lip. Every thought would be dangerous. Vampire minds were not ones that needed to be pried into.

Emilie had begun reading through the cast of Romeo and Juliet, not really knowing who was what and what the setting was considering she had never delved into the Shakespearean tragedies. She thought the part of the title character would be a fun part to go through... if their English teacher wanted the students to participate actively in the play.
