Ben just smiled at Cryistal. He wasn't scared of her, not yet anyways. Then he licked one of his canine teeth, they're not anywhere near as sharp as hers.

"Um, kinda." He told her, debating whether he should tell her or not. "Well, my last girlfriend, fiance almost, was... killed by a meteor strike summoned by an elf wizard, along with the rest of my family... Well that's behind me now." He put on an obviously fake and forced smile.

Cryistal first jumped when she heard the voice in her head, but soon she recognized it and tried to put on a calm face as she thought several things to herself.... or to Stark. A couple, eh? I don't know, Stark, I was hoping you could answer that yourself... I guess we look as much a couple as Beryl and Ben... BB, hah! How funny! She laughed to herself and tried to hide it with a cough.

Maria

Maria took a sharp breath and walked over to Karagura's side. Without thinking, she pulled him into a hug and apologized to him. "I'm so sorry. That must have been horrid for you! Please, if there's anything I can do, just please tell me." She didn't enjoy others being in pain and she only hugged him harder.

Emilie paled as she got a glimpse of Cryistal's gleaming fangs. She hoped that it wouldn't be her neck that the vampire would next sink her fangs into. She hoped it wouldn't be anyone's neck.

"Thanks." He embraced her hug. "But really, I'll be okay. I sometimes get a little down about this but I bounce back." He smiled a real smile this time. "At least I ended up getting my revenge, although it wasn't as sweet as I had hoped it would be." He gave a shrug, but then he cheered up.

'Let's talk about our relationship later. I think class is about to star...' he said telepathically to Cryistal. 'Wow' he thought. 'This is my chance to have a girlfriend. I hope I don't mess it up.'

Oh yeah, let's, she snorted, still unable to conceal her little laugh. Their relationship. It sounded like something was wrong with them, or like they were a married couple on the verge of divorcing and being "friends" when really they still loved and hated each other. She found it to be overly humorous and she hoped that Ben nor anyone else were listening in on their conversation. Who knew in a school full of weird beings and fantasy creatures.

Maria

Maria smiled when Karagura responded positively to her hug. It made her feel like a better person and that was all that mattered to her. When she pulled back, pink shining on her cheeks, she flashed her smile to Karagura and took up her purse. Despite her joy, she couldn't help but chew over the "revenge" part. "What did you do to get back at the wizard?" she whispered to him, not sure if she should bring up magick-folk in such a human place.

"Um... I killed him, gruesomely. I don't know how to feel about what I did to the guy. He killed everyone in my family but I did some terrible s**t to him. Two wrongs don't make a right. But still..." He was just jabbering on now. He stopped himself. He stood up and said, "So, we should probably head back to the academy now."

Maria shook her head slowly. "No, I still have some shopping to do." She pulled out a piece of paper and waved it about. "Besides, I don't have any classes to report to for the rest of the day and there are a few things that I need."

"Oh yeah, I don't have any classes either." He just remembered. "So where to first?" He asked her.
Karagura thought, "Does she not care that I killed that guy in the most horrible ways imaginable? I guess that's a good thing."

He saw Stark walk in, with all his blood seemingly inside his body. He thought to Stark, hoping he would read his mind, "Hey, guess you two made up huh?" He chuckled a little. Then he looked back to Beryl. "I think this is the last class of the day." He told her. "If I'm right you wanna hang out somewhere after class?" He started to play with the feathers on his wings. He does that when he's nervous.

Beryl blinked, surprised at Ben's guess.

"Umm...I guess so. Sure!" she said, playing with her feathered hairpiece.

Was I that obvious? she mused.

Maria hummed to herself as she looked over the paper and glanced around at all the other humans. She only hoped that they hadn't heard his story about death and destruction. Most humans freaked out over little things like that while she, as a Siren, was used to such deaths. "The first place I would go to is a... teacher's store. The rest I can get at a Bed, Bath, and Beyond." She glanced at Karagura and smiled her slow, serene smile. He was a hurting heart and she hoped to help him.

"Okay. So would you happen to know where a teacher store is? And by the way you have a really nice smile." Normal people would have blushed right there but Karagura was blessed with the fact that he never blushed.

Maria, however, could blush, and blush she did. Normally people didn't compliment her on a nice smile or anything except for her singing voice, but that was enchanted. She shook her head and tossed her hair over one shoulder, obscuring her pink cheek from view. "I think it's on the third floor and to the north, if you'd be so kind."
