“Since I was ten years old. It's also when I started getting my powers, weird right? And yes, Natalie, you look hot,” he answered, before taking a quick bite out of the oatmeal, then the muffin. He spun his finger around, and the coffee in her cup began to form her name.
"impressive" she smiled. She looked at the empty vase on the edge of the table and focused hard. Her hair flowed around her and slowly a flower grew in the vase and added some color to the table. "not as good as the name in coffee, but worth a shot". Natalie finished her breakfast and looked up at Todd. "what next?"
“Wanna go catch some wings?” he offered. He pretty much asked her if she wanted to fly around with him. Well, of course, not right over the town, a little farther out, less people watching. Why don't you just take the girl out for a bird movie? Ha ha, no, the real thing was so much better, with surround-sound, four-dimensional, high detail, and all that other crud.
Natalie had liked the last time she had gone flying with Todd and definitively wanted to do it again."well sure...but I'm wearing a skirt, is that a problem" she winked at him. As long as he wasn't watching her closely she thought it might be okay but she would rather change
“Darn,” he said laughing. “If that's what's bothering you, I'll fly in front,” he said humorously. Todd didn't really think about that, but whatever. Hopefully she knew that, this time, they would be flying a little more intensely. Not like a friggin' plane, but more daringly.
“Don’t worry about flying, I literally control everything that could ever go wrong,” he said. After they were done eating, he escorted her out of the diner. And the farther they walked the more of his telekinetic abilities he used. At a good distance, he powered up, his hair rising, and eyes glowing, and the waves of energy, though transparent, quite visible, visible energy. His powers were not limited to simply moving objects around. It came with more manipulative powers.
Now far enough, they slowly began to ascend into the sky. Soon enough, they could see the town in the distance, below them. It was helpful that he wore all white, good for stealth, but it really didn’t matter. At that height, they could easily be mistaken as birds. Todd was using his powers to regulate the things around them, too. At this height, it would be hard to breath, but he was controlling the things around them so it would provide the proper amount of oxygen for them to breathe with.
Natalie felt the wind on her face and flowing through her hair. She was nervous being so high but amazed at all they could see. She was also surprised by how easy it was to breath and figured Todd had something to do with that. She closed her eyes for a moment and allowed the rest of her senses to enjoy the moment.
Chris Rogers Chris stepped out of the forest with the backpack on his shoulders and her hand in his. "I had a great time." he said leaning over and kissing her cheek. He walked slowly to the school caressing her hand with his thumb as they walked. He looked over and saw another two people talking near a tree on the far side. He looked back to her and kept smiling as they walked up to the dorms to unpack.
"I didn't mean to piss you off or whatever." He said kicking the dirt as he talked. He refused to make eye contact as he made his weak attempt to apologize. "I just don't want to blind you with my good looks." he said smirking and looking up the clouds in a pose. "Come on. Stop being pissy and let's find something to do." he said giving her his hand.
Seeing that she closed her eyes, he flew underneath her, looking up to her. He has his hands behind his head, laying back as if were on a floating bed of a pool, very relaxed. “Oh, come on now. Isn't there anything you've always wanted to do in the sky?”
Natalie opened her eyes and saw Todd below her. "I've never thought I would be flying like this" she smiled and then leaned down and kissed him deeply "I hope you don't lose your focus if I do this" she told him after she broke away momentarily with a sly smile on her lips.
Cleo sighed and stood up looking at him "Yeah ok, what did you have in mind?" She questioned. Even though she was still rather pissed at him she was willing to let him change that. Sighing she looked down at her feet.
Charlotte Lindsey Ray
Charlotte smiled and kissed his cheek softly "Yeah, me too." She said as she entangled her fingers with his. She sighed and rested her head on his shoulder as they walked together. They were heading to their dorms to unpack.
Chris Rogers He smirked to himself as they walked. His day could not have gotten anymore perfect. He thought to himself as they continued walking. He was nearing the door to the school when he heard someone yell and turned in the direction. Even with his reflexes he only had enough time to push Charlotte out of the way before eating a very hard punch to the jaw.
"I don't really know." he said scratching the back of his head. "I thought I would start by trying top cheer you up." he said lifting her face and kissing her cheek. "Now let's go." he said turning toward the school. But he stopped dead in his tracks after only a step. "It's not possible....." he said staring ahead. His thoughts went black and the world around him didn't exist. He charged yelling incoherently and then punched the boy walking into the school square in the jaw.
