Kylie Standred gasped as she saw the university through the windshield of her car. Rolling up to the front gate, she realized how immense the building was. It was much larger than her old school and looked like a fancy European style castle. As Kylie drove slowly down the cobbled road to the main building, she couldn't help but notice the lush garden that surrounded her. The grass was of the purest green. The trees seemed to touch the sky. And a mass of brightly colored flowers dappled the entire yard. Kylie couldn't help but smile and as she reached the parking lot, she let out a happy cry and slammed the door of her car. Opening the trunk, she grabbed her suitcase and began rolling it to the front entrance.
Danny Wordel flew down onto the lawn of the school. He looked around and groaned before scouting out the grounds. "I've seen better." He said a loud. He walked up the steps of the school and spotted a girl.Time to converse? Maybe mess around? Danny thought as he walked up to her.
Kylie strolled quickly down to the main entrance of the building. completely enthralled with her surroudings. There was a quiet peacefulness that enveloped her and she smiled again and began to skip towards the door. As she reach it, she noticed a boy around her age, walking up to her quickly. She clutched the handle of her suticase nervously, digging her nails into the palm of her hand.
Kylie stared apprehensively at Danny's outstretched hand. Did he want something from her? She continued looking nervelessly between Danny and his hand. Without a word, she took his hand and gave it a gentle squeeze. My hands are probably so clammy! Quickly, she turned on her heels and started to run inside the building, ignoring the boy completely. Kylie reached the giant mahogany doors of the main building and she grabbed the brass handles and gave a tug. For some reason the door wouldn't open.
Danny laughed as the girl ran to the door. "It's not going to open, deary." He said as he walked up to her. "I'm trying to be friendly and you run? That's not nice now is it? No, I don't want anything from you and your hands aren't clammy." He said, standing at the edge of the brick stairs. "Now, let's try again. What is your name?" He said slowly and strongly. His eyes changed black and then back to their natural blue eyes as he said the words.
Kylie turned back to the boy. How did he know what she was thinking? She stared at him for a while and then realized he was right. She was definitely not being nice to the first person who ever talked to her decently. She bowed her head apologetically and said, "Kylie. Kylie Standred." Kylie paused, pushing a strand of her white hair behind her ear. "Sorry about that, Im not that much of a people person. Never really liked em." More like people dont like me.
Danny took a step up the stairs. "Kylie. Well that's a pretty name. Like I said earlier, I'm Danny." He said taking another step. "Why would people not like you?" He asked as he took the remaining steps. "You seem like a nice girl." He said getting closer.
"H-how did you-" Kylie started, but stopped as Danny came into her personal space his face only inches from her face. She inhaled deeply and an intoxicating aroma seemed to fill her nostrils. It seemed somewhat of roses and Kylie realized the scent came from Danny. She looked closely at him now. He had deep blue eyes that gleamed and hinted mischief, and a pearly smile that even models wished they had. His hair was a soft brown color an his bangs hung over his eyes in smith rivulets and strands. He was muscular but not a complete body builder an his tanned skin was flawless. Kylie gaped at him for a whole, her face turning a deep red.
"I know I'm hot. No need to stare. Close that mouth of yours or you"ll get flies in it." He said with a grin. He walked around her and opened the door. "Ladies first. I can tell you now that we're rooming together." He gave a mischievous smile.
Jamie Castly landed on a path and looked over at the school. She walked towards the entrance and noticed two people standing around. "Dang, he beat me here. I hope he hasn't caused trouble already." She said out loud before fading into the wind.
Brittney Jones stopped her car in the middle of the road to look at her new school. Hearing a car's horn behind her, jerked her away from the captivating sight of the school. Cursing aloud she stomped her foot down on the gas and shot forward. Screaming she quickly took her foot off the gas and hoped that no one saw. She quickly parked and check to make sure her car was okay. "Oh, I'm sorry baby! I'll get you some fizzy dice to make up for the scratch." She said to her car and grabbed her bag from the trunk and looked back at the school, captivated at the sight again.
