((Here goes....
umm.... we are in the realm know as the sierra, it is a secret realm home of the archangels, who other than the characters we rp as, no one knows about. It is the oldest realm in existence and the archangels are the oldest race in existence. no one but the archangels can create a portal to the sierra. the gravity in the sierra is 15x that of terra/earth and for every year that passes in the sierra, 100 years pass on terra. archangels are at the moment the most powerful race known to exist, but their existence is known to no one but themselves and the group. the sierra is like a hub for all realms, and it is a place where certain extinct animals from different realms are preserved. because of this it is ever growing. they are lead by a council who is headed by Sora's father. His mother is on the council as well. The only one they answer too is the Seer.
Right now the group is staying in Rocky's, one of my characters, mansion. it is located on the 8th level of the center tree of the grand city. the city is the biggest in any realm. and the tree's that it is located in top 2 miles high and multiple miles wide. these trees are in the middle of a forest whose trees average 300-400 ft.
Now for the magic of the realm. it was explained earlier that the energy can be felt, but for those that are not bonded to the realm like the archangels it cannot be used to it's fullest extent. it is just like a chaotic energy that creates unexpected results. also everyone but the archangels are still connected to the terra time so they age at the rate of mortals on terra. everyone was given necklaces's to counter this though. there is no flying, the magic of the forest prevents it. and a lot of the normal abilities that everyone has are diminished or non-existent. for now no one is able to move faster or lift anymore than a human athlete at most. also it has been explained that there is no evil or holy magic but rather light and dark that can be used for both good and bad.
for the moment everyone has been given run of the city. they have guides they cannot loose. the necklaces act as translators and symbols of them being guests. every archangel, the only race that is found in the sierra, speaks ancient angelic. only one character outside of my characters can speak it, but he is not with the group and even then he can't use it to its fullest extent. there are some locations that I will be going that no one can go to without one of my characters, like the library and sora's home.
now for a brief rundown of my characters (important to know the intricacies of the sierra)):
Sora- what we know so far....he is a fallen archangel, what that means is that he is one of the few archangels that have fallen from grace, we have yet to see them in the sierra yet, but I will explain why later. a fallen angel is not like a half angel half demon where they have half the power of an angel and half the power of a demon and are always at a balance of light and dark powers. Fallen angels posses the powers of a full angel and a full demon in one body which leads to a lot of internal struggle and unbalance. Unlike most of the fallen angels, sora was born fallen and he is an archangel, meaning his inner demon is basically what is known as an ancient demon, i wont go into this because it will be explained in a later post. in season one sora had to conquer his inner demon, kumo. He was able to and balanced his powers. it is also when he got his current sword. he was, along with Riku a key player in defeating Lir, one of the main antagonist. after the battle he left for 17 years to train with the 5 sages of old, more about them later. Season 2 picks up after these 17 years. in season two up to this point, Sora is more of a bit player in a lot of the stories but he played a few key roles in some stories. Season two was more of a story involving the other characters back stories and lead in for season 3. however we do find out in season two prior to the sierra sora was banished from the sierra, but has been allowed back. his sword basically has a mind of its own known as Aeris. We also meet Rocky, sora's oldest friend and find out he has a sister, Aerial. While in the sierra we have found out that His mothers name is Ciara and his fathers name is Zephram. it was found out that sora had been stripped of his nobility and family name at the banishment. sora's main attributes are the ability too speak ancient angelic, ancient demonic, and ancient fluently; his immense speed matched only by a few in any realm, fastest in the rp. he is not as physically strong as some of the other strong characters, Riku, Devout, Rocky.
Rocky- Sora's best friend. He watched over sora and help out in several battles in season 2. He helps guide the group to the sierra and as now lending his family's mansion to house them. He has given everyone guides and 10000 floras, currency. He is physically stronger than sora but he is nowhere near as fast. Right now Lionel doesn't like him and the two usually don't get along. Rocky is of high noble birth, being the closest descendant of the archangel chief that led to the unification of the tribes into one civilization when they were still a young race. His family is higher in nobility than Ivy's family and Sora's family. because of this he is able to get the group into places they normally wouldn't be able to get in.
Ivy- Sora and Rocky's friend. There is something more than friendship that is going on between her and Sora but it is not a relationship. She is often found looking for Sora and Rocky. She is best friends with Aerial. there hasn't been much told about her other than this. She has an alluring and an itoxicating aroma about her that generally infatuates men and makes girls nice to her. She also has a sultry walk that extenuates her femininity and sexiness.
Aerial- Sora's sister. they share a bond of twins. not much is known other than she is sora's sister and she performed the balancing ritual on sora. she is nobility
Ciara- once again not much known. she helped with the Ritual. And as hard a woman as she is, she still missed Sora during his banishment. She is softer than Zephram and allowed sora to call her mother. she is nobility and sits on the council.
Zephram- Sora's father. he is the brother of Hades/ Satan/ Osiris/ etc, who is a fallen archangel. he was the one to beat hades and force him into tartarus. he is the most powerful being in all the realms and is the leader of the archangels and the archangel warriors. He takes his duties very seriously. He is a hard man and doesn't show his feelings for sora, even telling sora that if the group gets out of line during their future training he and rocky will be punish along side the offender doubly. He doesn't allow sora to call him father nor does he call sora his son.
Seer- She is the leader of the archangels, not much is know other than she is one of the few beings who can see the strings of fate clearly. She is the guardian of the library of knowledge, which houses all of the history of every realm from the beginning of time. She was only recently revealed to be a woman. more is about to be revealed.
Aeris- basically the mind of sora's sword. she is closer to him than anyone. She takes the form of an imp and can control who sees and hears her. She is a little sarcastic and likes to point out Sora's stupidity, but she truely cares about him. she is ancient even by archangel standards
A few notes about archangels
-the women are the ones who choose mates not the men
- they are the guardians of knowledge and order.
-they guard the library
- they keep order in the realms, doing things from preventing someone from becoming to powerful to preventing the destruction of all realms.
- they are skilled craftsmen, artist, musicians, diplomats, etc.
-the warriors are highly regarded, even more than a noble who is not one
-warrior are both male and female
- they are extremely powerful and can live to be well over 200,000 in sierra years
-they can bond with any creature in the sierra
-many human societies copied off of the archangel society due to the warriors presence on terra. also a lot of music and art was spawned this way.
