Desc.:A fifteen-year-old girl was sitting on the front steps to the school. The sun was shining on her shoulder-length light purple hair, making it look almost white. As she tucked a strand behind her ear, a simple gold stud flashed in her ear, and an identical one was on the other side. Her bright blue eyes were soaking up every word in a book that she was reading. Her slender fingers turned a page every once in a while, but otherwise she hardly moved. Her black tee was almost completely covered by an oversized sweatshirt advertising some type of product. Her navy jeans nearly covered her plain white sneakers. The girl didn't really care about fashion; she wanted an education.

Sorrel was oblivious to the fact that it was lunch, and continued reading. The book was in fact a book of different math theories, meant for the more advanced reader. Sorrel understood it all; but then, she was a poet at heart and knew more than some.

Kirsten rolls up to the school on her skateboard. She skates around, doing manuals and grinding on rails every so often.

She reached into her pocket, still not stoppnig reading, and pulled out a thin stick of spearmint gum. She slid it into her mouth and chewed quietly.

Gwen sat on the bleachers watching the school world pass by around her. she took the last drag of her cig and stood, walking off the bleacher, tossing it on the ground and putting it out with her shoe

Desc: A girl with golden red hair just past her shoulders walked the hallway. She came to her locker, grabbed her books, and walked outside. There she sat with an old acoustic guitar, and began to play. She sang along. Her voice carried throughout the morning, and most people arriving could hear it. She usually attracted one or two listeners this way. Her sharp green eyes looked past her purple shirt, and black jeans only to the simple chords. That's all she concentrated on. Now, she waited.
