The ability to grant wishes, wouldn’t that be wonderful? If some individual does exist in Gakuen Mirai who can create miracles will they help Midori? She would do anything just to break free of the walls. Even though the hope of finding someone like that was very slim and maybe she was subconsciously asking for God’s help, but the teen would do anything to escape this prison. The school itself is huge. She couldn’t see the walls properly from her classroom even. Quite the walk if someone does want to catch a glimpse of what separates the students from the outside world. Why not break the walls? Good question but rumour has it that a lot of others have tried to break out but the walls are supposedly made with special kind of barriers. They said it all might just be an illusion. Who knows, whatever the case is there was simply no escape. The normal life of the teenage idol ended about a week ago, yeah funny how that is considered as a normal life compared to what she has now.

During the first week the young female was mostly confused and felt completely out of place, when she wished for such a life she didn’t want to be confined at the same time. There was always some restriction towards the freedom she deserved. People have been very welcoming and excited due to her arrival. Teachers are nice enough, maybe from having quite the name around Japan. There are a lot of fans in school but Midori never felt like she could offer them a smile that they deserved. Kind of felt unfair to them, after all nothing is their fault so she initially played along. One particular individual was kind of different though, she doesn’t quite remember his name that well but he has dark hair? And, oh yeah piercing crimson eyes. He was in charge of showing her around, as did he but the male disappeared after a short while. She never saw him after that. He was probably in charge of some kind of welcoming committee? Whatever the case is this idol’s story in Gakuen Mirai was just starting.

Present day. Morning. Soft pink strands lay everywhere on light yellow bed sheets, her slender figure almost devoured by the very comfortable bed. It was slightly chilly but even if she was completely asleep she felt like she could just sleep all day today. Her arms wrapped around the nearest possible thing, which anyone would have guessed a pillow but her hands came in contact with something warm, though not very soft for a pillow, in fact she could feel muscles underneath her palm. Without really knowing what she was doing her she moved closer to the figure, whatever or whoever was in bed with her wasn’t going to be pushed away. That’s what she would have wanted but that wasn’t going to be the case. Fluttering her eyes open completely, Midori stared at the face next to her for a good one minute. She stayed still with her eyes wide open. For how long was she going to be able to do that though? Almost instantly her face heat up with anger and embarrassment while let out the loudest shriek possible. “NANIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIIII?!” Oh it didn't end there, without really giving it a second thought the young idol slapped the male out of sheer perplexity. A red hand print was left, decorating his handsome face. Even if everyone was sleeping, they were probably going to be awake by now. Another day at this academy.

Jolting right up she sat up on the bed, while it bounced with the sudden movements. The half-naked male in her bed was none other than the guy from the welcoming committee. Twitch. What was he doing in her bed? Why was he there in the first place? She doesn’t recall anything, not even having any conversations with him. What the hell is going on? “W-Why…why are you here?!” She questioned the half-awake male. Honestly Midori was having a hard time speaking. She needed to look away and that’s what she chanted in her head. “Look away Midori look…away!” She thought while her face was adorned in light rosy hue. This is what a perfect scandal is but the pinkette wasn’t going to let this become a reality. Suddenly the cold air tickled her bare stomach. “…” Almost instantly she looked down at herself and paled a bit. Okay sleeping in her underwear last night wasn’t the best idea. Pulling the bed sheet to hide her body, she backed away from the dark haired senior. Damn it, what’s Naomi going to think about this if she finds out? This guy needs to leave asap! “Hey, hey…HEY PERV! You didn’t do anything to me r-right?!” She asked while she felt small tears forming by the corner of her eyes. This was too embarrassing for the female. “I am never going to get married!” She thought literally crying in her head.

The young male shivered as a cold breeze blew through the open window, mercilessly bouncing off his bare chest before moving further though the room – the sudden cold throwing him out of a what had been especially good and entertaining dream. A sour vibe emanated from the brunette as he stifled a groan and attempted to block out the bright light shining through his eyelids by throwing his arm over his eyes, though it did not quite have the desired effect. ’Wonderful.’ The student president thought sarcastically, sleep still heavily clouding his mind as he rolled over onto his side. Kaito had probably forgotten to close the window and curtains last night. Again. How annoying. Maybe he should start taping reminder notes to the walls to help his roommate with these sort of things. At least it would avoid him from getting burned out of his bed by the sun this early in the morning. It usually didn’t matter – as he had school anyway – but today was Saturday... also known to Yasuo as ‘sleep until noon’-day. Unless one of the other student council members would enter his room again and bug him until he would finally agree to do some work that was. Which happened more often than you would expect. But even they wouldn’t be up this early in the morning... so maybe, if he tried really hard, he would be able to fall back into the precious thing called ‘sleep’ again. At least he could try.

If back then, Yasuo’s half-awake mind would have registered exactly what was happening – and where he was – it would have saved him so much trouble in the very near future... but unfortunately for Yasuo, sleep was currently the only thing on his mind – he barely even noticed the slender form of a girl cuddling up beside him. Well, of course there was muttered something along the lines of; ”...idiot... don't touch me.” when he felt two sender hands lightly on his bare chest, though it took him quite a bit longer before realizing one very important thing: his pillow did not have hands and—oh. Well... ********. Cracking one deep crimson eye open, the young male’s gaze fell upon a pink-haired girl he vaguely remembered as one of the new second years. Noami had made him show her around the school somewhere last week (like he was supposed to do as the President of the Student Council), but he had abandoned that tour somewhere halfway in favour of smoking. Looking past her he noticed the sleeping form of Noami in the other bed and, even more importantly, that this for sure wasn’t his room. ’Crap.’ Yes. Whose bright idea was it to put the student with the phasing abilities in a dorm room on the first floor again? ‘Cause that could never have gone wrong! Especially not when he wasn’t able to control his powers when he was asleep. Yeah, feel the sarcasm here.

Oh well, at least the bed was comfortable.

In the end, it was also his with sleep clouded mind that had made him decide to just stay in the bed for a few minutes longer – as he wouldn’t be able to get out without waking the girl next to him and without a doubt causing a lot of ruckus with that. His eyes slowly started to fall shut again... until an exceptionally loud scream ripped right through this plan, followed by a hand colliding with his check. Hard. Snapping his eyes open, Yasuo was met with the bright blue eyes of a girl that seemed to have a hard time not trying to panic right now. He felt the bed shift as she jolted up to look down on him, the questions soon following. ”Calm down. I’d rather be somewhere else too.” Yasuo muttered as he rolled over again so that his back was now turned towards the pink-haired girl, not really caring about whether or not it would result in him getting slapped again. Hoping that she would simply go away and let this slide if he pretended to be asleep was probably too much to ask, but he could at least give it a try, right? Sadly, he was rolled over again when the bed sheets were pulled away from beneath him by the girl so that she could cover herself with them. Which was already a sad thing by itself, as he sure hadn’t minded her being in her just her underwear.

Covering up a tired yawn with his hand, Yasuo briefly decided that it was probably time to leave now—before Noami would start yelling at him too or something. Or worse. He finally threw his legs over the edge of the bed, before raising up to his full six foot two potential and looking back over his shoulder at the girl when she spoke up again, this time calling him the perv. Hadn’t she been cuddling up to him just a few minutes ago? ”Stop calling me a perv, you idiot.” He noticed, voice still heavy with sleep. Raising his eyebrow at her, he couldn’t help but to add a few extra words to that as he ragged a hand through his already messy bed-hair. ”Besides, you seemed a lot happier about this situation than I am just a few minutes ago.” Yeah... this really wasn’t his fault. Not entirely at least. Somewhere in his sleep his phasing abilities must have somehow accidentally been activated – causing him to fall through his bed and the floor and into the room below his, which also happened to have a bed standing on the exact same spot as his had been. Yeah. That must have been it. Nothing had happened, but still, when the girl finally questioned him about that, he couldn’t help but to tease her a bit with that. Stuffing his hands in the pockets of his pyjama pants (which also happened to be the only piece of clothing he was currently wearing) Yasuo tilted his head to the side, carefully watching the girl on the bed in front of him. ”What makes you think I haven’t?” A dark grin settled on his face as he said this, already mentally preparing himself to duck underneath the next punch she would throw at him.

                        ________________________________________________________________________
Hilde enjoying her morning, with a cup of peppermint tea, and reading a newspaper - was soon interrupted by a 'scream', beginning her investigation

She was heavily disappointed, as the foreigner first place foot onto the school ground - a so call prison where she is expected to live here, for the next three years of her life. Or so did 'facts' told her. It was beautiful school - oh yes she must admit, as she wander through the large footpath - bring her bored brown eyes to glare at the school building. Modern, fresh - maybe even recently clean? For some reason she couldn't doubt her theory. Odd. Some students brushed pass her - while others stop their small chatter to stare at her, noticing her non japanese appearances - only did she gave him a glare back. Honestly. Then there were others who for some reason simply didn't care - continuing on their daily lives. She was grateful for those who didn't. All in all, it didn't take her long to notice despite the fact - it was a school where 'tinted' people like her, in which they will spend the rest of their high school life here. in a so call normal high school, with a normal classes, with normal clubs, just normal everything! Why did it bothered the foreigner so much? Isn't this was a everyone wants? A school where you can be treated like normal? For many yes. It was their only. However for Hilde Janssen - no - she was expecting sometime different. Completely and utterly outrages more like.

Miss Janssen, was a teenage girl who viewed the world a little different from everyone else - for she expecting in this school, was enslavement, torture, scared students (who were too frighten to speak up, and start a revolution like the poor french) - and with the atmosphere so negative and depressing - even for the cheery dutch, she too, expected herself to follow. Into theworld of horror and human experiments. LIKE A PREFECT DYSTOPIA PLOT! But no, oh dear lord heavenly no! Here were students to her left laughing over a silly yet terrible joke. Then to her right, another student brushed pass her - running up towards her friend, giving each other a friendly hugs. Yes friendly. Another student was reading a novel, under the tree in peace. The atmosphere here, was so peaceful and positive, it was almost possible, Hilde was dreaming. But no, really no, she wasn't - she was just mentally confused. Nevertheless, this was the untold story for a forigner student name Hilde Janssen - who came from Sweden - now attending her first year of Gakuen Mirai.

_______ To the present day | Gakuen Miari | Saturday Morning

Hilde was a morning person, and she liked it that way. The fact she was able to see, what other student refuse to witness, in favor of sleeping in during the weekend - was completely awesome. In her option that is. Her eyes wander from the window, to her roommate - Jun Hoshino, first year, and a workaholic - yet for some reason, the keeper didn't mind being his roommate. Today was the weekends, peeling her eyes away, she focused on getting changed - into her pink top, with a her light pink blazer, with her bro-- what? Okay never mind, grabbed her dorm keys, she quietly walked out of her dormitory - with one thing on her mind, fresh peppermint tea - like she always did to start her mornings. Making her way to the kitchen, she hummed herself a light tune - one her father would often sing, before she fell asleep during her childhood. A fond smile touched her face, misses him, but she knows today wasn't the day to remember. She told herself. Sitting down in the common room, she tucked himself in the corner of the room, with a english newspaper on her right hand, with a cup of peppermint tea on her left. She knew it was a few weeks old, however the reality is, no one really knows what was happening around the world outside the gates, not anymore sadly. (Actually most didn't care, much to her disgrace.) When she heard people didn't read the newspaper, because they were simply non existent - she entered a massive break down. For Hilde: no news, no updates on the world, no possible suggestions of WWIII - just absolutely scared her. Never had she felt so isolated from the world. She nearly begged to make a deal with the Headmaster - yet he decided it was possible to get a second hand newspaper, however she would have to return it back to the headmaster after the week ended. Being in her worst possible state, of course she would have agreed. As for now she was content.

                        Very.

Each line, every line within the newspaper provided her with great joy - one especially without any bias or unwanted past remarks. This is what it's like to live in the 21st century after all. She felt a gentle breeze sweep pass her. That was until she notice the window was open, her eyes scanned across the room, to see if anyone had opened it - yet no one was here. Not this early anyways, "Did someone left it open from last night." She muttered to herself. It was possible, yesterday night, there was a small get together. Yep, awesome high school aright. She decided it was best to close the window - until the common room got a bit too crowded. Standing up she made her way to the window, her fingers gripping the frames - hey it was pretty heavy window, okay. Until a scream caught her off guard, well something more like a loud 'WHATTT in japanese. So much for a peaceful morning. "Vat nu?" she spoke in swedish, poking her head out of the window - to find no one outside. She expected it though. However her attention now turn to the West Wing - as her main source. Then it hit her - what if something big is going on, and she was missing out?! Hilde Janssen, although no party girl, never misses out! Quickly she pulled her head back in the room, leaving her now warm tea and second hand newspaper to the side, in favour of looking for the source of the shouting in the morning. While debating whether, to get Sora - the photographer - or Kotori, to assist her on her recent findings! Yes Kotori, then maybe she'll drag Sora! They were both in the same wing, they couldn't have possibly missed such as scream.

So she ran, and she was a horrible runner.

tab Naomi was usually up by seven am and about her daily routines, but this was one of those rare occasions where that was not the case. After noticing that Yasuo hadn't done any of his work for the student council (as usual) that week, she'd taken it upon herself to do it for him. It was easier for her to just do it herself than try and convince him to do it, in her opinion, so that's what she did. Honestly, she really wondered what the Headmaster was thinking forcing someone to be student council president. What was the point of it? If it wasn't for her and the other council members picking up his slack, nothing would ever get done. Really though, Naomi didn't mind even if she questioned the... badly thought-out decisions (well, it wouldn't do to call the Headmaster's actions stupidity, would it?). She liked being busy, but this time she knew she'd be occupied with kendo practice and who knows what else, so she decided to pull an all-nighter to get the work done. She could of put it off until her schedule cleared up, but she really had just wanted for it to be done before the next student council meeting. So, for once, Naomi had intended to sleep in until ten or so.

tab Of course, that obviously wasn't going to be the case today. She jolted awake at Midori's shriek and looked around the room wildly. Not that she could see anything. She scrambled over to her bed stand and fumbled to put on her glasses so she could figure out what the hell was going on. She looked over to see the Yasuo sized lump next to a panicking Midori. She blinked sleepily a few times as she slowly processed what she saw. Noticing that no one was screaming in pain, she immediately calmed down. "Suo...?" she asked with a yawn before looking curiously up at the ceiling then back down to him. "Did you phase again...?" Her brow furrowed as she looked at the ceiling again, trying to comprehend why he'd fallen from the spot that he had. "Why were you in Kaito's bed?" she asked, dumbfounded.

tab Yasuo's bed had been directly over hers until she'd moved her bed stand and desk so she could push her bed all the way against the far wall. He should of landed on the floor, not in Midori's bed. Now, Naomi probably wouldn't of minded occasionally waking up to find a handsome half-naked male in her bed if it were anyone else. Acid burns hurt, however. She'd known that even before she'd cuddled against him in her sleep and woke up to the pain in her cheek and hands. Good thing the nurse is such a good healer or else she'd probably still have the scar on her face. That wouldn't of been very attractive.

tab Nao noticed Midori covering herself with her sheets and absently glanced down at her own sleeping attire. She wore just one of the white button up uniform shirts that the guys wore, at least two sized too big on her and her panties. Giving a tiny shrug, Naomi quickly decided she didn't really care if she was decent or not. It's not like Yasuo hadn't seen her in her pjs before. She gave another yawn before shuffling out of her bed and making her way to her desk to grab the pile of paper work she finished for him the previous night. "Stop antagonizing her. She's not used to this place yet," she scolded as she handed him the papers.

Nestled neatly between two other classrooms, the science room hung open to anyone who happened to be moseying the hallways at this time. The smell of dust and preservative fluid wafted out of it and encompassed the entire corridor, yet if anyone were to ask the woman inside to close the door and open a window they would likely get a very unwelcome response in return. Inside the room was quite the mess, papers strewn over the mahogany desk that overflowed into the garbage can where Beatrice herself was quite sure they belonged anyway, bottles and test tubes haphazardly organized on the lab tables, and the jars filled with dead things floating in a viscous green ooze staring out at the mess of a room and the silhouette of the woman fixing to get the s**t together in time.
The woman wasn't the lazy type, far from it. She came off like an angler fish, dangling whatever the other wanted to see until they withered their use to her, then she ate them.

                  Snap.

In a matter of speaking. She stood at the desk, flipping through the papers idly tossing most of them away without a second glance or bit of hesitation. Some were lesson plans that had been so kindly 'suggested' to her, others were profiles without any data that would be of use. The papers that she was interested in were then placed in a pile and shoved into the middle drawer, the one next to her prized candy stash. Once that was taken care of she would treat herself to something yummy, the drawer opening as she pulled out one of the brightly colored wrapped treats and popped it into her mouth. A sinister grin greeted those lips of hers and her violet eyes twinkled while she overlooked the rest of the room and wondered if it could wait. Beatrice knew very well that she did have class today, and a few braver students would stop in to study or whatever the hell they did in her room with her stuff, but she really wanted to head back to the dormitories and start putting her stuff into her new room.

The woman's serious brow furrowed in disgust at the thought of having to move, but her and her last teacher roommate had an...incident. It really wasn't her fault that she got kicked out of her old room. The old fellow had been the one who...forgot he put the battery acid in the refridgerator where the filtered water should have been. Of course, what use would an innocent woman like her have for that stuff? She totally wasn't planning to run tests on him, not at all. Just thinking of all of it, while staring blankly at the room, Beatrice almost choked on her hardcandy from the laughter that bubbled up. It was a shame she got caught, it would have been a fun project for the kiddies.

Her nostril's flared slightly, finally deciding on something before turning on her heel and walking out, shutting the door behind her with her foot. It was just a bunch of test tubes anyway, the brats probably wouldn't know what to do with them if they found them in the first place.
The hallways were pretty empty, only every once in awhile would she notice a student scurry passed her on their way to somewhere more important. She couldn't help but compare them to cockroaches. Durable, maybe interesting, but still insects in the end. Her footsteps echoed around her, a powerful meaningful stride that she had trained for years. When she was a god, this is how she would present herself. At least, that is what she liked to tell herself. She was far from that kind of material...yet. Ah, the dorm seemed so far away, and it was such a horribly nice day outside. Each time she would pass a window with incoming sunlight she would skitter to the very edge of it, like a child playing hot lava. As she reached the door to the courtyard her hand slithered out and hesitated before pushing the door open and hissing slightly at the light. She had to roll her eyes at herself, how cliche she was being! It was just a little light, and yet she could feel it warming her very bones. Those bones were hers! and she wanted them cold damnit!

Cold bones were the best kind of bones, damn sun!

She hurried over the grass towards the east wing. Where most would stop to admire the beautiful surroundings she could only think if she stopped she may find a ******** butterfly and that would just ruin her day entirely. Luckily it didn't seem like that much of a walk when done briskly at the pace of ******** get me out of here. Beatrice was more than happy when she entered the east dormitory, so much so she paused to contain herself, not to catch her breath because she had slacked off a little during the break to study. She lifted a hand, wiping accumulating sweat from her brow and staring down at the paper disdainfully. The janitors had better not have broken any of her things during the move or she would have to kick their asses with her whoopass zombie.

                  Again.

The dorm was the first teachers room in the building, and around her she tried to ignore the sounds of students being generally annoying through their morning routines. So untrained, so much potential. It was sickening really. The door to her dorm looked like the one to her last, and she wondered if it would be the same inside, stupid roomie and all. Oh how she longed for her own room, but then again...where would the fun in that be? Who would she torment? She clicked the door open, no hello to greet her like the last time. She could see that her stuff was piled in boxes neatly at the foot of the bed, blankets and pillows already piled on there like they didn't even care they were in order. After standing for a few moments she wondered why no one had come to the door, or at least would come to see who the hell she was. Either they weren't in, or perhaps they didn't care that she could be a thief? She shrugged her petite shoulders and barged her way inside after a moment thought, scoping her side of the room and planning what she would do with it. Some jars here, some bones there, a bit of flesh she had been working with in the corner and it would be a fine room and.....

                  Snore.

Beatrice's sharp eyes widened a moment, the woman froze in her thoughts. Snoring? At this time of morning? She could be imagining things, until of course she heard it again. A deep, manly snore that would make a bear blush in comparison. Slowly the grin returned to her face, someone was sleeping around her. A large mistake, perhaps. She turned around slowly, her eyes lighting up to see the man sprawled out on his bed, sleeping like a log. She crept over to him and reached a finger out, jabbing him sharply in the cheek. Deader than her pet mouse, how boring. She gave a few more irritated pokes across his annoying face before scoffing and returning to her stuff. Right, she had a habit of getting distracted away from the task at hand unless candy or corpses were involved. She opened up the top box, pleased to see it was her collection of random body parts and selected medical oddities. Stand, a stand, she needed a stand. Beatrice stepped back , her head looking this way and that for the stand, only to find that a majority of stuff was already on it! She wasn't sure if it was the only stand, however it was the first one she saw, so it was the one that she claimed.

She gingerly pulled one of the jars out of the box, floating in it a pulsating blob of human flesh. To be more accurate it was a tumor. She stopped herself to admire the way the light that filtered through the curtains danced around in the bright green goo, it was hypnotic in a way. Her tongue slipped from the side of her lips, rolling along the lower one slowly again and again until the spell was broken by the sound of her room mate's sleep. He smelled like booze, she thought calmly, rolling her eyes. The stuff on the desk would only be a slight obstacle, and without a second to consider if it was her roomies things she braced her arm on the side of the stand and whisked, pushing all of the bobbles and things right onto the floor with a symphony of loud cracks and broken glass.

Biting down her bottom lip to surpass a whimper Midori pressed the bed sheet closer to her body feeling uncomfortable under his stare. Letting her gaze slowly descend downwards the teen tucked away some pink strands behind her ear. However they didn’t fail to cascade forwards yet again. But then he opened his mouth. Twitch. How dare he? “Maybe I didn’t slap him hard enough.” Okay maybe he did have a point, she did enjoy the warmth but she just thought he was a pillow. Yeah, a very toned pillow. Hopefully he wasn’t some kind of a mind reader. Sighing the young idol narrowed her eyes and wrapped the light yellow bed cover around her properly and then folded her arms over her chest. “Hmph, don’t flatter yourself perv and – ” But before she could push his buttons any further she heard a familiar voice speak up. “Morning Senpai!” She spoke quickly while she felt a shiver run down her spine. The teen felt like she was caught in action while she looked at her roommate with a meek expression. However the scowl she was trying to hide was still there under the evident red hue. Blinking away from Naomi she glanced at the pervert and then back at her. Seems like they know each other and apparently his name is ‘Suo’.

“Phase…?” She wondered out loud and followed Naomi’s stare at the ceiling. Does he always do this? A phasing pervert that falls from another floor, yeah this school is totally amazing. Sure Midori had some stalkers before but this is the most outrageous attempt to stalk the idol or the perfect. But surely he wasn’t one right? Well the next comment instantly got Midori’s attention, her turquoise blue gaze darted towards Yasuo and his smug little grin while she felt her hands curling up into tight fists as they fell gently by her side. “Y-YOU WHA – well then you’re really bad at it because I felt nothing!” She spoke but anger got the better of her as she picked up the powder puff from her dressing table and threw it at his face and then followed by a pillow. At least the meganekko was trying to tell him to behave and Midori was thankful because of that but the nerve of this guy! Instead of apologising he was trying to make fun of her. Who does this red-eyed-perverted-stalker-demon think he is?!

A faint noise from the other side of door which made Midori’s ears perk up while she walked towards the door. Leaning against it she pressed her ear to get a better sound of what’s going on, on the other side. Her eyes widened while she heard a several mummers from the halls. Instantly backing away from the door she let out yet another sigh and combed her bangs with her slender fingers feeling rather exasperated. “Naomi-senpai…your friend needs to go, asap. I think some uninvited guests are coming this way.” She spoke with an irritated voice while her eyebrows furrowed. Midori was relatively calm now, since Naomi knew Suo and by the words they exchanged she guessed that the incident from earlier had something to do with the male’s ‘Phasing’. On the other hand Midori really didn’t need people questioning her now, especially the people from the Newspaper club. Those inquisitive individuals have been bombarding her with questions ever since she got here. Do you like Gakuen Mirai? What’s going to happen to your career as an idol now? Do you like the attention you’re getting from the student body? “Tsk…” The distressed female clicked her tongue. Early mornings are never nice for this idol.

It was cold and raining and it was silent. It was so unbearable quiet that it hurt her ears and no matter how many times she called out their names, they didn't say a word. But why? What was wrong with them? They were hardly acting like themselves at all. They were acting so.. So alien. Did she do something to make them mad? That had to be it! It had to of been whatever happened earlier that night in her room. All she wanted was for them to see the television show and this is how they react? She was crying, begging for them to tell her where they were going. If only then she knew the fate that had been lined up for her since the beginning of their relationship. But she didn't. All she knew then was how unbelievably frightened she was and heartbroken. It felt like they hated her and maybe they did. "Mommy please, please!" Still no answer. She screamed and cried, poured every ounce of herself into trying to understand and nothing had changed. It felt like it had been hours that she tried and finally she gave up, feeling sick to her stomach from all the effort she'd put in; Yuki had ultimately succumb to the silence herself.

                                            PRESENT DAY x

Streaks of sunlight swept across the blanketed girl, washing over her slowly until it reached her eyes. It was like a gentle prod, or push, waking her just a minute later. She pulled the blankets closer to her in hopes that she'd be able to fall back asleep, but the silence around her was demurely interrupted; a voice somewhere cried out. It was distant enough for her to ignore and her eyes were plenty tired to close again, yet it was useless. It was the fact that her brain had so kindly began it's usual routine of roaming, which of course meant that she was going to stay awake now. Yuki's eyes adjusted quickly and she quietly stared across the room at nothing in particular for a while, contemplating on actually getting up. A few minutes past and with a defeated sigh, Yuki sat up, tossing her comforter off of her and stood once she was free. Her feet padded across the floor, leading her to her nearby dresser where she rummaged through the drawers. Mindlessly she plucked out a spare school uniform and headed into the bathroom to get prepared for her Saturday routine.

After she showered and redressed in her uniform, she made her way back inside of her dorm room, dumping her dirty clothes into her laundry basket. Before she made another move, she paused to examine her reflection. She looked too tired and self-consciously she began to rub at her eyes, hoping that the expression would vanish from her face. When Yuki looked back at her reflection, she was horrified to see that her eyes were actually watering. She felt paranoid suddenly; what if people saw her like this and thought she was crying? Her mouth turned down in disgust at the very thought. She'd rather not have people pry into her business and even though her roommate turned out to be just as quiet as her, there was no need for people to be asking her senseless questions. So taking the corners of her sleeves, she lightly dabbed the water off of her face before her roommate could take notice. When she finished, she slid her shoes on and exited as quickly as she could. Being stuck in close confinements with people made her uncomfortable to a painful degree. It was worse than being poked and prodded at in her opinion and that's saying something. What was she supposed to say to these people anyway? It hardly seemed logical to get to know anyone, or attempt to, when in a few months she'd probably be gone anyway.

It was just best to be alone for now. After all, she's the one person she could trust the most. And this particular move had come as a shock, but not so much as to the fact that it happened. It was more like the people at Gakuen Mirai had so much more-- well personality, she supposed. It was a much more lively prison than she was used to and it would take some time to adjust--if she ever managed to get that time, of course. She had to admit, though, whoever whipped up the idea for this particular prison was a creative one, she'd give them that. From all the books, magazines, and television shows she's ever seen in her life, Gakuen was the most realistic-- or possibly fantastical-- school she'd ever seen. Heavy sarcastic emphasis on school.

She smirked to herself at that last thought, covering her mouth halfway with her hand to resist the small laugh inside her. The idea of any of the places she,or anyone tainted were at were anything less than a prison was funny in a very sick, very dark way. It probably wasn't very funny at all, but she was tired, and a little bit on the grumpy side admittedly.

A low growl emitting from her belly and she paused, awkwardly looking around to see if anyone had heard the obnoxious sound. She lifted her eyes, searching the hall surrounding her and breathed a sigh of relief; she was alone. Without even thinking about, she took a right and headed straight down the staircase to the common room; Something to eat would probably settle that monster in her stomach.

Yuki made her way past a few stray students wandering in the common room and headed into the kitchen area. As soon as she entered another grumble erupted from her mid-section; her entire body became still yet again as she searched to see if there were any witnesses. What was the matter with her? In all honesty she could say she was aware that she was extra paranoid. But why? She cast aside her paranoia and grabbed an apple from a fruit bowl and made herself a cup of green tea. Yuki then made her way into the common room, setting her tea down on a table while she plucked up a book to read. She smiled, finally feeling a little more awake, and a little more alive now that she had her tea and her books. Taking a seat, she cracked the book open and began her usual Saturday routine.

Normal people sleep on their back, on their stomach, or in the fetal position. Or maybe they switch it up throughout the night, tossing and turning. Some even sleep walk. Normal people rested their head on their pillow, maybe resting their arm under their head for a little extra support. Normal people actually use their $10,000 orthopaedic bed instead of curling up on the ground in a cocoon of sheets. Well, okay. Firstly, normal people probably didn't own a $10,000 bed. And secondly, Katashi did have his legs on the bed. How he could sleep like that was beyond anyone. He had plenty of room on his queen sized bed; thank god for the teachers’ dormitory rooms being considerably bigger compared to the students’... half of his furniture would never have fitted into this room otherwise! Not that he actually had brought that much stuff with him (okay, it was still a great deal more compared to what most other teacher had brought with them when moving in but Katashi wouldn’t be Katashi if he did not have his very exquisite collection of hats and sunglasses around him), but you get my point. Anyway, back to our blonde haired teacher’s odd position. A loud complaining moan finally erupted from the cocoon, this soon being followed by the movement of a body as the Music Teacher began to wiggle around in an attempt to break free. His feet found an escape route, but after about five minutes, the ex-vocalist gave up and just managed to sit up. Or well, he did so for a few seconds, right up till the point where he opened his eyes and noticed the world spinning around him. ”Oh my God...” Katashi whined under his breath, slowly deciding to move in reverse and crawl back into his bed that, considering his headache, wasn’t by far as comfortable as he remembered it to be.

Do you know those kinds of mornings when it's just best to fill the sink with coffee and dunk your head in it? You do? Good, cause today was one of those mornings... or at least it was much to the music teacher's opinion. Alcohol... urgh. Alcohol is an evil thing and he will never drink it again. Never. Or well, at least not until he and the other teachers had some free time again and they would have another one of those ‘meetings’ to discuss their students. Meetings... yeah. At least it was a good cover name – the headmaster had never questioned it nor had he ever bothered to show up. Yes, he just decided there, he would just simply die just before the end of the next meeting. Would at least save him the trouble of dealing with hangovers like this. And with that thought nicely settled into his brain, Matsui Katashi sank further down into his bed, quite content with his decision to continue sleeping for a bit more... It was a cruel joke. All poor Katashi wanted to do was sleep. Well, okay, he had already fallen back to sleep. However, the sounds of a very awake roommate entering his room were slowly beginning to reach the ears of the sleeping music teacher. And that was slowly waking him up. There was a puddle of drool on his pillow, and something told him that there was some soaked into the pillow as well. Oh well, it would dry up by tonight. If not, he could always go all ninja status and switch pillows with Beatrice. That's what roommates were for, no? He wasn’t quite sure, as he never had a roommate before, but he’d at least imagined them to be for emergencies like that one.

                                                ....poke .....poke ...poke

                                                .....poke ......poke

                                                ..............poke.

Katashi, just beginning to gain consciousness, felt eyes on him, even after the poking at his cheeks – something he had quite happily pretended to sleep and more specifically; snore through – had stopped. It wasn't in a weird way, since he already knew that Beatrice (the science teacher) was supposed to move in as his new roommate today, but it felt somewhat strange nevertheless. He still didn't move, even when he heard some odd sounds. Like...a rummaging sound...wha? Perhaps it would make sense if he actually looked, but the bed was much more comfortable. ”Beatrice...” He started, voice still groggy with sleep and half muted by the pillow he was currently using to hide his head underneath as a part of one of his ’stages’. ”...it’s Saturday. We’re off. Why are you up so early?” Anyway, like I just mentioned, Katashi tended to wake up in what he liked to call "stages." Which was just code for "I'm too damn lazy to wake up faster than a turtle's pace." Yay for laziness! So yeah, at the moment we’re at stage three; which mostly involved lying on your bed with a pillow over your eyes hoping that you could force the sun to go back down again with your willpower alone. A loud thump, followed by the sound of breaking glass caused Katashi’s eyes to fly right open, until they were the size of saucers. ”What did you just do?!” He demanded, sitting up quickly though regretting that action even more quickly; instantly feeling lightheaded and dizzy, and he slowly laid back down again. But just for a minute. And then he forgot what it was that made him sit up so fast. Oh right, Beatrice was destroying his room.

Now, usually, when you spoke to Katashi, he was a pleasant person but mornings weren't his strong point, he was usually unfriendly for the first ten to twenty minutes of the morning, and when I say unfriendly, I mean rip-your- head-off unfriendly. Especially if he happened to be hungover. Which he was. Once again he moved (this time with slightly more success) into a position next to his bed that would probably somewhere in a galaxy far, far away, qualify as sitting up straight. It took him quite a bit of self control not to break down right there, give up and lying back down on bed again, but eventually, Katashi was able to (with pounding headache and everything) actually rest his head on his hand and peek over the edge of the bed; his eyes instantly falling upon a large pile of his stuff—on the ground. Well, that explained the thump and the rummaging sound but-- ”Beatrice, what the hell?!” Katashi asked, not minding at all if he would sound unfriendly above everything else. He rubbed his eyes, attempting to fight off the feeling of drowsiness in order to be able to focus on what exactly she had thrown to the ground. Which failed miserably, but you can't blame a guy for trying. Maybe, if he had been a little more awake he would have noticed the pair of very fancy looking sunglasses (mind you, they were his third-favourite) lying on the ground not having a very good time – as there currently was a quite heavily-looking desk lamp positioned right on top of it. Ohhhhh... He was going to be so pissed when he would finally be awake enough to actually notice that.

He was running. No. Okudaira Nero was sprinting frantically through the quiet hallways of Gakuen Mirai at eight in the morning to his new destination, duffle bag and pool towel flying behind him and shoes squeaking as he took a sharp turn. Eyes narrowing in on the wooden door holding his prize, a wicked grin twisted on his cool lips as he slid gracefully to the door with speed descending. Hand turning the door knob immediately, Nero slammed open the door to the janitors office with a loud SLAM! before he pointed a long, accusing finger to the frightened man sitting behind a rusty desk. "Ah-HAH! You're the one selling Miyagami's underwear!" Nero exclaimed victoriously, his free hand on his hip proudly. The old man stared at Nero like he'd grown five heads. Nero stared at the old man with unfazed determination.

                      A moment of silence.

...Nero's arm was getting tired. Nero frowned at the old man, who scoot back as far as the wall would let him, as Nero slouched slightly in disappointment. But that didn't stop Nero from trying again! With new-found fire and determination, Nero straightened his back and strengthened his pointed arm back to its ninety degree angle. "Come on, I've heard the rumors! You're selling Miyagami Midori's underwear, you can't fool me!" he insisted, flipping his bangs out of his eyes with a quick swish. Nothing. No response. Silence, a cricket chirping in the background...muscle cramp. Nero dropped his arm in defeat and reached into his duffle bag for his wallet in exasperation. He was already late! He brought the black wallet out and shook it in front of the old geezer. "Look, I have money! Money is no object, old man!" Nero almost whined, but he was too manly for that. Far too manly for whining. Not cool. The old man opened his mouth to speak, but opted to stare oddly at him once again. Nero didn't understand why this man didn't budge! Nero looked up above the man's head to the giant, dusty clock that read 8:05AM. Nero grunted and tightened his sharp jaw, putting his wallet back in his duffle bag with frustration. Was he struck by how beautiful another male could be? Probably. Oh you know what?...now that the thought marinated in his mind, maybe the second year meant near the janitor's office, not literally the janitor. That actually makes much better sense. On his way to the pool, following his usual morning routine, he had overheard a small-fry second year gossiping with his friends and Nero just so happened to overhear this wonderful piece of information about the perky drama queen past idol. But maybe he got a bit too excited and failed to think before he acted. Well...this is embarrassing. Just play it off, Odukaira, play it off... Nero began to walk backwards cooly while speaking, "Good work! I was testing you, and you passed. Because it's a terrible, awful thing to sell a girl's underwear...So if you ever see anyone doing such things...you know..." he pointed to his forehead in signal, before he turned on his heels flew away from the confused janitor.

Note to self: be less extroverted about women's underwear. Without breaking a sweat, Nero sighed and slowed his steps until he walked with purposeful strides into the indoor pool. Dropping his duffle bag and towel on the nearby bench, Nero stretched his long, toned arms up and let the familiar smell of chlorine fill his nose. This is what he liked about swimming so early in the morning. No one was usually ever here, including those crazy girls who made up his cheering section during practice, and he could just feel the silk of the water over his body in peace. While he loved having a cheering section, Nero was truly passionate about swimming, especially in the morning. Especially since he could walk back to his room dripping wet with his torso muscles rippling, pants loose, and a wicked smirk on his lips (cue fangirl squeels) after his swim to give the ladies a little bit of eye candy. Kami knew Nero was only thinking of the female population's sanity. He was performing a public service by being shirtless and dripping wet, of course. A little flirting before class brought up brain activity as well as energy, so why not help the girls or Mirai be energized? Nero crossed his arms in front of him and grabbed the hem of his thin shirt, lifting it over his head and tossing it to the floor unceremoniously. He stared at the pool's beautiful sparkle and shimmer, the corner of his lips twitching up to a smirk. Today was going to be a good day. Might as well start it out right.

Unzipping his pants slowly, Nero stepped out of his remaining clothing and shoes before running to the edge of the pool to take a high, graceful dive into the divine water. Nero pierced the veil of water and shot through the water, blowing bubbles out of his nose in relief. Coming up for air, Nero sighed at the coolness of the water and ran a hand through his damp violet-wine hair, slicking it back lightly. He stepped off the pool floor and floated face up with his eyes closed, letting the water glide across his body slowly. Relaxing his tense muscles, a voice in the back of his head wondered if anyone would walk in. But then he remembered: he's Okudaira Nero. 'You kidding me? If someone came in, I'm sure they'd be thanking me,' he thought to himself cockily, kicking lightly with his feet to move to the deep end of the pool. As he swam lightly in the water, he let his cares and thoughts of Miyagami Midori's stolen underwear drown. Until later. Mental note to ask Midori if she has any suspects. Maybe he could get his clues from there and hunt him down. Nero's amused chuckle bounced off the tall ceiling and echoed in the open room.

Lying on top of fresh green grass bed that matched the color of Nanase’s hair, she stared at the bright sky with frequent and yet lifeless blinks. She could feel the light air nuzzling her frail silhouette while the rustling of the tree leaves that poured down on her made silent whispering calls. Sun rays played hide and seek with the tree branches and as a result patches of light adorned her features. In thin slits her eyes closed, drifting off to sweet slumber. But, a sudden shriek made her eyes flutter open. “Tch…” Only one sound left her lips as she slowly and yet lazily sat up feeling a little aggravated. Something crawled up her pale and slightly exposed arm while she stared at the creature from the corner of her eyes. A red medium sized python named Aka-hime, her companion for the morning. Actually her only companion for lazy Saturdays much like this one. Despite being a snake that might be quite dangerous to carry around campus, she was definitely tamed. However, sometimes Nanase does use her power to manipulate her density to keep Hime under control but that’s only for safety when both of them are around other people.

This senior female decided to wake up early, not being able to stay within the square shaped parameter of her dorm room much longer. She needed to get some fresh morning air and time to think about things, especially about the fact that she was graduating this year. One more year of imprisonment and then freedom, freedom to choose the life she wanted and what she wanted was to give up on being a tainted and lead a normal life. Bringing the arm that Hime occupied closer to her face, the young adult stroked the top of her head. The snake was extremely red, almost extra-terrestrial. Believe it or not Nanase secretly went to the Forest of Death without anyone’s consent and found her wild friend there. Of course not many people knew of this story but there were rumours. Speaking of which someone was going around saying irrelevant bullshit about her. Well maybe some part of that rumour was the truth but this green haired individual simply doesn’t throw a punch if she isn’t provoked. “Should’ve killed that lowlife when I had the chance to.” She thought to herself cynically. Well that would have been the first if you don’t count the countless chimeras and some other things, which is a totally different subject.

Light breeze went past her again, as the tall grass around her danced with the wind. Getting up with her companion on her arm the senior placed the hood of her hoodie on top of her head, blocking out the wind from playing with the silk strands of her twin drills. She had the urge to take a swim in the pool. No one would probably be there this early anyway so maybe the she can enjoy the water with peace. After a good three minutes of walking Nanase finally arrived at the pool room. It was rather big with the fresh scent of chlorine and luckily her vision caught no one. The clothes on the other side of the pool went unnoticed as well while her sharp olive eyes fell upon the clear blue water of the pool. She walked towards the edge of the pool, scanning the waterbed but suddenly something caught her eyes. A thing, yeah something weird floated on the surface and it looked like a deflated balloon. “Eh…” She squinted with an inquisitive gaze. Carefully and yet curiously she poked the object in the pool with her right foot. “Oi are you dead or some kind of a garbage? Oi…” She called out feeling rather perplexed.

Her room was a complete mess. At least on her side of the room. She wasn't the kind of girl that would be very organized. She wasn't someone to wake up early neither. But she forgot to close the curtains last night and now the first rays of the Sun were invading her room. Akiha tried to hide her face under her pillow as the light started to annoy her, but it was too late now. She was awake. And once the girl was awake, it'd be extremely difficult for her to fall asleep once more. She slowly opened her intense red eyes and sighed deeply. Her blonde hair was a mess as well.

Akiha found it really difficult to force her muscles to help her sitting on her bed, but she did it, eventually. It was still kinda early. She yawned, opening her mouth as wide as she could and fixed the strap of her nightgown which was falling down her shoulder. She cleaned the small tears that formed on the corner of her eyes with the back of her hands and slowly she stood on her feet, jumping out of bed. Akiha started to walk in a zombie way towards the bathroom, grabbing her towel that was over a random chair on the way there.

The girl washed her face first and then she brushed her teeth. And so she took off her sleepwear and turned the shower on. She hesitated for a while, just like a dog that hesitates to take it's bath. But then she allowed the water to touch her pale skin, bringing shivers all over her body for the first seconds of contact. After her bath, she fixed her wild hair the best she could and got dressed for the day. But it was then that she had an idea.

Akiha simply hated to wander alone, so she needed to find herself a good company. The short girl had an idea and so she became a white wolf. Her clothes went to the floor and she picked them with her mouth. She jumped out of her window and looked carefully around her, noticing that nobody was around. Great. She ran her way to where she could find the teachers' rooms. And she stopped at Masato's window. Thankfully it was open. She'd smile to herself or bark happily if her mouth wasn't busy holding her clothes.

She jumped into his room through his window and tried not to make a sound. Masato was still sleeping. She went back to her normal form and got dressed quicker than ever. She then smiled mischievously and jumped over the man's bed. "Sensei! Time to wake up!" She said with a giggling voice. Akiha had done that before so Masato wouldn't be that surprised. Ever since she arrived there, the sensei had become her first friend. The first one person to ever be nice to her. And just like a puppy, she grew attached to that man.

It was early, too early for there to be so much noise echoing throughout the hallways. Did not these kids know how to sleep in? Was not it a normal thing for teenagers to want to spend their entire weekend nestled between comfortable silk sheets and their heads resting on feather soft pillows? If only they had been taught properly the enjoyments of sleeping, then they might have a better understanding of it. That is right. What a wonderful lesson to start the school year with! The importance of Miss Fukui's sleep on the weekends. Yes yes, surely the headmaster would approve of such a lesson. Just a quick quirk of her current lesson plan, maybe adding in a few hints in the lesson. Subtle cues that will slowly brainwash the students into longer sleep schedules. Yes that would work wonderfully. At least those were the current thoughts of one blue haired, fair skinned teacher who tried very hard to ignore the thumbing of feet against the floorboards outside her room. Or even the loud slamming of items and subtle voices coming from the teacher's room next door. Her strained brow furrowed a crease into her almost perfectly formed face leaving a slight perfected dent in her slightly shimmering flesh. The noise was most definitely becoming harder and harder to ignore. Gently a slender hand reached from beneath her thick violet comforter and silk sheets to grab hold of the spare pillow on her queen sized bed. Slowly the pillow began to be calcified by a thin layer of a clear substance, and slowly those crystal blue eyes began to flutter open. A murmur, then a low growl escaped between fair rosy lips before a burst of angry energy flew through her. Without a second to spare, that pillow went flying across the room right into the wall connecting her room to Beatrice's and Katashi's. The layer of diamond was thin enough to shatter on impact but most definitely gave a loud enough thumb hopefully and subtly vent her frustration at the two next door.

It was not quite the way she wished to relieve her stress of an early weekend wake up, but it would do for now. Maybe after a nice shower and some coffee, her mood would lighten up. Casually Aimi lifted her arms in a very enjoyable stretch, her white laced chemise barely showing over her over sized and over fluffed comforter. At current, she was the only one who occupied her room. It was most definitely a lovely space to have. No direct disturbances and more privacy granted than the two next to her currently had. Though surely that privacy would be disturbed very shortly when the empty bed nearby was filled. For now, this room was solely hers and she was going to enjoy it while she could. Not bothering to check if her little release of frustration from earlier had done any damage to her fellow teachers, Miss Fukui slowly scuttled out of her bed taking time to stretch again before adjusting her chemise and white pajama pants. Mm, today was going to be a good day. Or so she wanted to believe so. First things first, coffee. That was the most important thing in the morning. Though looking more presentable would be best before heading to the communal kitchen. So Aimi wandered to her closet, grabbed her long, overly fluffy, light-blue robe and made towards the door. Of course before exiting her room, she took time to fasten the thick over sized belt so that her robe would stay securely on her person and slipped on her large bunny shaped slippers. Accidents were not an option in her current attire. Thus was time for coffee. Aimi opened her door, leaving her room a slight mess inside, and made her way towards the kitchen. Her hair was slightly tussled and eyes a bit hazy from her half awake state.

Just as soon as Aimi reached the kitchen, the coffee maker was cleaned, filled, and already brewing coffee in only a matter of minutes. The smell of coffee filled the air and Aimi's face showed an expression of bliss as she breathed in the lovely aroma. It was enough to make her almost enjoy being locked behind prison walls. At least they had some of the finest coffee here. Grabbing a newspaper from the stand nearby, Aimi wandered over to one of the couches, flopped down, and began reading as she waited for the coffee to finish making. It was important for a lady to keep up with the current events right? Of course, so it was an every day routine for Miss Fukui to read this black, red, and white booklet of papers. Those blue eyes of hers looked from one side of the room to the next before a smile crossed her lips. Quickly the funnies were brought out and light filled blue crystal orbs as she soaked in every bit of detail from them.

Beatrice hadn't paused to notice that the other teacher had a bigger bed than her. If she had she might have staked claim to that as well. She was the kind of woman that would conquer various parts of an area, that may have been the reason she was kicked out in the first place. It had to have been, and not the battery acid. She had her back turned away, and didn't turn to give a second glance at the damage she had caused. Instead she was passing jars from the box to her new stand, laying them in almost obsessive order next to each other. Next came the small bone displays that she had made for testing. They hung from a set of crossbars that had strings attached to each bone, a lot like a marionette. As she sat them down on the wood with a pat they jiggled from their open prison. She meticulously arranged a few more before pausing, her brow crinkling. Did someone say her name? Nonsense, the booze hound was fast asleep and no one would dare interrupt her when she was busy, none that were close enough to call her out so informally.

As the woman reached her hand out to adjust the tiny skull of the bird skeleton, she heard someone challenge her. By name. Casually as ever she slightly turned her head toward the 'sleeping' fellow on the bed, who now had a pillow stuffed up in his business as if that would do anything to shield him from the warm rays of the sun.

"I'm sorry do I know you?"She drawled out in her low voice. Her tone was spitefully sarcastic since he had ruined her concentration. How inconsiderate! She didn't even grace him with a response to why she was up so early. It wasn't really that early for a teacher, plus she had been awake all night doing this and that. Beatrice didn't sleep much. She tended to fall asleep wherever she happened to fall. She didn't like to mention how often she wound up face first in the belly of a rotting corpse. While shuffling around she managed to trample a few of the debris from...whatever happened to land on the floor and shatter. Her eyes trailed down to her foot with almost an offended look. He really should keep his s**t out of her line of walking, it was rude to just leave it laying around.

Apparently whatever she had done had shocked him out of the trance of sleep. She glanced at him with a frown on her lips, trying to place if she had seen him before. Beatrice had an odd sense of memory. If the person wasn't important, or someone who had power enough to warrant curiousity, then she didn't waste the memory space on them. This man must have been one of those people. She had never seen him before, but the look he gave her of sleepy despair still was something that she would treasure for the moment. Until a new subject came along with one worse, or he started to cry because she was commandeering his stand. It was all in the name of science. She scoffed at his question, her head cocking to the side with a sneer that sliced her face from ear to ear.

"Are you blind? I am unpacking my belongings." She answered his question matter of factly, ignoring that she had just destroyed some of his. She turned back to her precious knickknacks and reached in for the last one that would go on the stand, just a simple plain alarm clock that would wake her in time for things if she happened to fall asleep during her training. "If you are blind, I will gladly take those eyes. You aren't using them properly anyway, apparently. "

New jars would be nice to have. There was just enough space on that stand for two more, one for each eye. Her hand came up and tapped her chin as she thought, yes yes, if she didn't want them that would be acceptable indeed. Her train of thought was derailed, the silence of the room was broken by a loud, demanding gurgle. The thoughtful look that had masked over her face melted away to one of blank realization that all she had eaten in the last day was candy. Delicious candy, but still only candy.

Suddenly a loud thump startled even that, and as the woman jumped so did each of the things in the jars, as well as the bone displays. She snarled towards the wall, giving it a threatening glower. Did it want to die? She would kill it! Slowly the clacking of the creatures died down, they went back to their still dead positions as if nothing had happened at all. Beatrice took a deep breath that lead into a yawn, what had she been arguing about? Something pissed her off, she was sure of it. Something about jars. Her hand lifted and brushed some of the dark strands back from her face, opening one lazy eye to the rest of the boxes. One was labeled clothes, the other was books, and another was misc things. So much work to do, there was little time to kill a wall. She would be sure to thump it in return later.

She returned to the boxes, wiping the debris from her shoes as she moved, kneeling down and opening the one labeled for her books, ignoring the man in the bed once more, though booze still hung in a heavy cloud over him. That was kind of hard to ignore.
