Unlike most people, Analise was not only an early riser, but a willing one. Once the sun was up, so was she, already energized and ready to tackle the day. As always, she started the day with plants. She wound her way through her small apartment, offering greetings and encouraging words to every bit of foliage; fern, flower, or otherwise, while she watered them all. Most responded with little more than a rustle, as plants were generally expected to, though the Grape Ivy she'd gotten the other day still had a habit of trying to cling to her. With what could almost be described as a motherly sternness, she pulled away from the vine, still talking to it in a gentle tone. Ana deeply believed that plants were much like any animal, in that while they may have trouble understanding words, a tone can convey everything that's necessary.

Once she'd finished watering all of her plants, a time consuming task in itself, she took a quick shower, dried her short, dark purple hair, and got dressed in an outfit that, like most of her clothes, was more about comfort than style. She was still a little early to head to school, but being early was always better than being late, so Ana decided she might as well head out. She left a little bowl of dry cat food on her little balcony, in case Cat came skulking around looking for something to eat, then headed out of the building. As she stepped out onto the sidewalk, she sighed to herself.
"Alright, first day. Be cool, Ana, you can totally do this." Sure, she'd been attending Foxbrook for years now, but this was college now. Even if it was the same campus, it was totally different, and she couldn't help but be nervous. Nodding slightly to herself, as if giving some small encouragement, she unlocked her bike from the rack by the street and started pedaling toward her school.

She arrived to find a handful of other students milling about the campus, and instead of trying to ride her bike around all of those people, she decided to park it at a bike rack just inside the Salve Gate. She still had plenty of time before her first class, so she didn't see any reason not to walk. Even though Ana had already attended Foxbrook for two years, and had even spent the last summer close enough to walk to campus, she still didn't really know where everything was. How could she? The campus was huge. So, she knew where to find key areas, like where all of her classes were, but not much else. Most of her free time was spent outside anyway, so she couldn't see how it really mattered. Well, that wasn't quite true. She knew it mattered, she just couldn't bring herself to actually fix it and figure out what every other building was.

Her first class of the day was math, in the Lehrer Hall. Another way in which she found herself estranged from her peers, she harbored no deep dislike of math. In fact, it came rather easily to her, and though she wouldn't go as far as to say it was fun, she certainly didn't mind it. She still had plenty of time before class started but, wallflower that she was, she liked to get in early and find a seat in the back so she could go more or less unnoticed throughout class. She made her way into the building and to the classroom, and was rather startled to find it not empty. The man on the desk was most certainly a teacher, and Ana had walked in just in time to hear him introduce himself. Seated in the room were two other students, both girls and both most likely older than her. She bit the inside of her cheek, then resettled the strap of her backpack on her shoulder and headed toward one of the many empty seats toward the back of the room. As much as she liked sunlight, window seats could be...distracting. Especially when vines climbed up the wall in a matter of minutes to try to get her attention. She sat down in a seat toward the center of the back row and got her books out before sitting back and glancing around the classroom.
