▰▰▰▰ Kennedy pressed his lips together, his jaw setting. It was a special talent, really, that Joshua had. But at this point, was it really any surprise that Joshua seemed to know just about every button that Kennedy had and how to, not just push it, but smash it in with a hammer? And managing to embarrass him completely in the process. Seriously... my love? Kennedy didn't even want to talk about it. He could feel his face becoming hotter- and it was not a blush, no matter how it might have looked! It was, and only was, just a sign of his frustration that unfortunately Kennedy couldn't stop himself from doing. He could practically feel how satisfied Joshua must have been with himself. I said, my name. 'Kenny' is not my name, it makes me sound like a child, and only my friends may call me that. Kennedy replied, his voice tight. He paused a moment, and then added a perfunctory Please and thank you.. It was just good manners, and maybe Joshua would back off if Kennedy was nice. His hopes were low.

When Joshua apologized to Ellie, Kennedy just rolled his eyes and directed his eyes towards the front of the classroom. He could only assume that Joshua was going to start flirting with Ellie now. He had just began to tune Joshua out when he started talking again and Kennedy only turned his head a fraction in Joshua's general direction. He only gave Joshua a flat, vaguely irritated look. Kennedy was almost proud of how he was keeping his emotion muted- ❝...You better wear something nice and tight so I can stare at that hot little body of yours.❞ Kennedy choked.
W-what? Do you have any shame at all? You can't just talk about me like that! Return to your seat, actually, Joshua. You're just being absurd now. And it's not any of your business what I'll be wearing. Kennedy turned around to face the front of the classroom, eyebrows pulling together. Joshua just needed to get bored already so he'd leave Kennedy alone!

When Ellie began speaking, Kennedy turned his head back to her, trying to pretend that Joshua had somehow evaporated into the atmosphere. She seemed pretty happy about the party, so Kennedy managed a smile, despite his dampened mood. And the fact that she said she would be finding a date. Not that Kennedy wanted to stop her if she wanted to find a date, but Kennedy found himself dreading this party already. He didn't suppose he could really pester Ellie too much if she was bringing some guy. That was just a one-way ticket to make himself the third-wheel loser.
Oh, yeah. I'm sure you'll find someone. Kennedy agreed, swallowing the lump in his throat. Great. If she's bringing a date... There was no way Kennedy could just go on his own now. Not if Ellie was going to be bringing a date. Maybe how Kennedy made everything a competition between the two was stupid. Well, what could he say; he didn't like losing. But who in this entire building would want to go out with him? Maybe he would have to just swallow his pride and go stag and suffer a loss to Ellie. Not to mention make himself nice prey for anyone who wanted to bother him. Right. I'm looking forward to it!

                                                                            Sir Flufflebutt

Location: English Class 〉 〈 Company: Joshua, Jeanette, Elanor, Daniyel, Lina, Brodi 〉 〈 Feeling: Excited 〉

Since he was only temporarily sitting to text, James eventually stood up to switch seats. “I see you’ve got it all good, Joshua,” he said, passing by. It was a little passerby greeting, seeing as Joshua was occupied with something. James walked towards Daniyel and Brodi. “How’s it going, guys? You looked confused their, Daniyel. Do you need any help or does Brodi here have it under control?” asked James, patting his friend’s shoulder. Since he was fairly smart and already tutoring Kimberly, it wouldn’t hurt to help a brother out. He knew that the coaches wouldn’t be too happy to know Daniyel was slacking in his classes, so James could help out. I’m surprised he didn’t ask me to help him out sooner. He was a quarter paying attention to a small vibration in his pocket that indicated he got a text back from Kimberly. Depending on what days she was confused about things, he’d alter his schedule so he could come over and tutor her. If she was as confused as she seemed that day, then he’d head on to Study Hall to help her out. It was fine since he had that kind of time with him.

When the teacher gave them their assignment, he began to write. Supposedly they were supposed to give the details, most notably a page-long synopsis of what they’d learned so far regarding the book. Recalling as much as he could, he began to gradually fill up the page. It wasn’t very difficult, seeing as he actually took the time to read the book when he had nothing to do. James didn’t procrastinate, so he did his work when he had the convenient time to do it. So the guy basically doesn’t worry much for his behavior, but his defining moments set him beyond the contemplation of the average individual. His trials make him question the inevitable. James retained some healthy thought processes to finish up his paper. If he managed to keep it up, he’d probably finish in eight or ten minutes.

Shortly after, he felt the vibration in his pocket. I’m guessing Kimberly answered, right? He hid the phone at his lap as he began to answer back. Now that he thought about it, it would have been polite to ask around and see if anyone wanted a ride. After all, it was a four-door Camaro. Alex was driving himself, but maybe Daniyel could ride shotgun with him or something. He knew Daniyel wasn’t much for these parties, but James couldn’t just leave his friend out of the picture when all these things were occurring beyond soccer.

Kaiden smiled at the replies he had received from Ellie and Joshua, and also Bridget's reaction to them. It kind of reminded him
of when they were still super close as kids, like their moms used to be recipe buddies or something, whatever moms did to hang
out and socialise. She was the brash and more opinionated of the two of them and she was usually the one to get stuff done.
Admittedly, Kaiden kinda missed their camaraderie, but hey, people change, and Bridget still seemed pretty okay, and if Kaiden
ever really felt lonely, he could probably call her up. "It was just Josh and Ellie, nothing too explicit for your young eyes." Kaiden
teased as he watched Bridget plug in the charger. His comment earned him another glare from the history teacher, accompanied
by a disgruntled huff. She managed to ignore Kaiden everytime he pulled out his phone, but once he opens his mouth, him and
detention were probably the teacher's otp.

Deciding that maybe he could just try his chances with just texting throughout class, Kaiden opened his messages again, rereading
Josh and Ellie's texts, as well as thinking of a witty reply, as he was forced to do in a mind-numbing class that he had technically
already experienced yesterday as his third block was a day ahead of sixth.

Kaiden figured it was a good idea to get on Ellie's good side before a party and before he would be eating food near her, girls
could be deadly given the opportunity. With some afterthought he sent a follow-up text to
Joshua with a stupid grin on his face,

                            To: Capt. Kirk
nd nothing's gayer than me. nothing.
                            unless it was u.
bc we're gay together hombre xoxox

Kaiden was pretty sure he was approaching the fine line of socially acceptable teasing and actual honest to god disgustingly
sweet nothings that he was sure would get him a brunt of a joke of closets and him being in them. But to be honest, with
Joshua there was no line, like, at all. They were bro-gay for each other. That was typically how their relationship worked when
there were no girls on topic and Kaiden didn't have to at least persuade Josh to tone down his testosterone. Of course, something had
                            just been realized by Kaiden.

                            Kennedy.

Oh good lord the poor guy would be left to Josh's own devices. At least Ellie was with him. With a simple shrug Kaiden zoned
out in his desk, reaching a type of zen only he could reach when in history. But his in-class meditation was broken by a certain
blue-haired boy almost falling out of his desk. Kaiden looked around to meet a few other disinterested glances, and turned
back to Lunen. The guy seemed uninterested in talking to Kaiden, but he would have to deal with him at least for the rest of the
year in sixth block, "Are you all right?" Kaiden offered as he watched Lunen right himself in his chair
                            with notable concern.

"Mr. Rossiya! Would you please stop talking or leave the room? If you talk out of turn once more, I will write that detention slip."
The teacher scowled at Kaiden and turned back to her almost illegible scrawlings on the whiteboard just in time to miss Kaiden
rolling his eyes and casually signing '******** you too' in sign language, a handy trait he had picked up when babysitting one of the
freshman teacher's children, who was deaf.

Orion grinned at his friend's singing then shrugged, "I've been thinking about it." Now that he knew for sure that one of his friends -needless to say, one of his close musical friends- was going he felt more up to it. He pulled out his notebook as the bell toned, signaling that class had started.

History never had been one of Orion's favorite subjects, but he put up with it anyway because he had to. He wasn't particularly fond of days where teacher's reviewed the same information that was presented to the class the day before because that just tended to lead to the class being bored to death and falling asleep. He kind of felt bad for the kid that was singled out by the teacher and he noted the student's name (or his last name for that matter) as Seey.

Orion pulled out his phone and read the text from his best friend, Chandler. He smiled before quickly typing away:

                                                    To: Chip w/o Dale
I was also thinking about going. What harm could it do in going, I guess?

Orion then sighed, glancing up at the board. He didn't feel like taking notes, as he did so the previous day. His fingers lightly tapped on the page of his notebook while he skimmed the board, seeing if there was more to possibly add to his notes. His fingers were repeatedly drumming the pattern of D | A | E | A | F# | A | E | D | as they would if he were playing the piano right then. His eyes shifted to the clock, and he sighed again when he noticed that not much of class had passed by.

Recovering from the almost-chair-fall wasn't very hard. A sped up heart and slightly heightened senses were something that went away quickly. He was back to trying to figure out something to do, and at the moment there was nothing. Oh, how he'd die to jump out a window and run somewhere - anywhere! - and never come back. Well, not never come back. He'd probably be back the next day, but a boy can dream, right? Lunen idly twirled his hair around his finger, a habit he'd started to do early in his school life. He didn't turn his head when Kaiden asked if he was alright, just simply nodded for a reply.

Lunen glanced at the clock once more, trying to force it to move it's hands to the next hour, but it wasn't like he had supernatural powers. He glanced back to the teacher, then at the door. So close but so far away. His eyes went back to the students, looking over each with different expressions. Another sigh, another glance from the teacher, another eye roll, and another silent plea for help. Lunen glanced over at Kaiden, before deciding to result the lowest way of entertaining himself: talking.

"So, Kaiden or whatever your name was slash is, tell me about your.. ugh ******** this." Lunen couldn't even find entertainment in talking. He suffered from chronic boredom, A.K.A the most murderous disease on the planet.

"Mr. Seey! Language!" The teacher yelled/commanded. Lunen was at a lost of how she even heard him, considering he was about 6 rows away from her. Hearing aids?

Lunen nodded. God how he hated this teacher. Couldn't they've had a substitute who wouldn't bore them with a monotonous voice? Was it so bad to wish that his teacher came down with some weird disease that took her out of school for like, the rest of the year? He hoped not. Lunen's thoughts then wondered to his father. What was he doing? Was he helping a murderer get out of jail? Or a survivor to get some relief? Or maybe he was at home with the maid, doing unspeakable things with her. He never went shopping, that was Lunen's job. Maybe he was at some special meeting? Or what if he was learning that his son was found guilty for... - gasp! - cheating on another test. Not that Lunen had been caught doing so recently. He was extremely careful with how he cheated.

Chandler slid his phone back into his pocket. He was hoping India was going. He didn't really know her yet but she seemed like a promising friend and he liked her so far. He wanted to see Ellie too. It had been a while since the two of them had done anything together. Maybe the two girls would help him look extra good tonight just in case he were to be around any cute guys. He chuckled at the thought of the girls helping him get dressed like he was a doll or something.

Chip eyed the clock. Frowning at how much time hadn't passed, he started the homework that the teacher had posted up on the board. All exercises on pages 175-178. He flipped through the book and found that there were fifty problems he had to solve. He sighed and went straight to work on them. If he wanted to go to the party tonight all his homework had to get done before.

Way to keep it bland. Usually the resident playboy had a little more fire in him than he did today. Had the siren finally become his equal in their battle of wits? Even though his response hadn't entertained her as much as she thought it would, it was enough to bring a smile to her features."Perfect." Lina was satisfied for now. Surely later he would have more bite to his bark. The interracial girl turned her attention to the IPhone lying on her desk as it lit up from a text. Lina's smile widened at the message from Orion. She and the young musician had become friends after he came into the shop one day to check out the pianos. Lina was quite the saleswoman and tried to get him to try out the new Celviano that had just arrived. After he displayed his skills on the keyboard, Lina forgot about trying to sell him anything. She appreciated talent in all it's forms, and it didn't hurt that he was pleasing to look at too. Lina rarely had friends who could just jam out with her on different instruments, vocals too, so it pleased her to have met him. The siren playfully responded to her musical equal.

TO: Orion's Crescendo
Message: Miss me already, hm? I don't, but maybe you could show me that piano at your place ^.^

Lina sent off her text as more people poured into the class, just barely missing the late bell. She hadn't really noticed until now just how colorful this class was. Everyone from the performers to the athletes were represented in this room. They even had a few preps in this class. One such prep was the ring leader of them; Kennedy. He was their student government president, straight A student, probably going to Harvard, who didn't mind rubbing all that in your face. It took everything in Lina not to turn around and strike him across the cheek when he started talking about his plans for their next meeting. Like give it a break already! The school made the club's sole purpose to be the stomping ground for the students when decisions were made that only involved a few of them. Of course Lina didn't give two ********, so she could care less if someone disagreed with a idea initiated by the club. Lina rolled her eyes as everyone continued chattering amongst themselves, giggling and joking like a pack of wild hyenas. Lina began doodling treble clefs as Kennedy became the center of Joshua's torment. That boy was something else. As much of a man whore as he was, he definitely sent off her gaydar with his comments towards Kennedy. Then again, maybe that was just her inner b***h reading too far in between the lines. "Kennedy, don't pay him any mind. He's just a little upset that he can't be a more reserved like you." Lina spoke in his defense. As much as she flirted with Josh, she couldn't deny he was an a*****e. Even Kennedy didn't deserve such constant pestering.

The energy seemed to start dying down once Kennedy decided to be the bigger person and just ignore Josh and his growing ego. For that, Lina was thankful. The English teacher went into the lesson with a quickness now that the class was officially beginning. Lina absentmindedly began taking notes on the characteristics of a tragic hero, and the various examples such as Macbeth. A thought popped into her head as the teachers words began to slip in and out of ears, Lina took out her phone again to send a quick text.

Word on the street was, or in the halls were, that there was a party going on tonight. She had heard about it from overhearing people chattering about it in the hallways. Then she got the text from her brother Jesse who insisted she go and be his designated driver. Agreeing to be his designated driver his way of inviting her to the party, and her way to make sure that he made it back home safe and sound. Daddy dearest was already on his case about his responsibilities and growing up. Plus, Alexa hated drunk driving. She had done papers, research and even made a report on the schools television station about the dangers on drinking and driving. If you knew her you knew she drank, but she didn't get smashed and even when she did drink she wouldn't drive herself home. She'd take a taxi. There was no way she wasn't a partier but she knew how to do it safely as well as not getting caught. Sighing softly and squinting down at her doodle of Mickey Mouse she was doing she continued glancing up at her history teacher making sure he was still teaching and she wasn't being caught not paying attention. Other kids were eating in class, texting in class and some others were actually trying to learn. The teacher had to be oblivious to everything going around or he just didn't care and continued for the sake of the kids that wanted to learn about history. Alexa was in no means a slacker. Always did her homework, mostly attended classes and applied herself. Being a non-functioning part of society didn't sit well with her. As more people hummed about the party she sighed softly. Reaching down and into her messenger bag she yanked out a pair of glasses and slipped them onto her face.

Seeing better now she flipped to a fresh sheet in her binder and then started jotting down the notes on the board. "Move your big head," she mumbled under her breath as she craned every which way trying to see past Eric's head. The male swiveled around instantly and narrowed his eyes at her. "What did you just say to me, Alexa?" Trying hard not to roll her brown eyes she smiled a bit, but you could tell it was a fake smile. "I said, 'oh what nice eyes you have'." A low growl erupted in Eric's throat and Alexa tried her hardest not to giggle. "Watch it Clinton. You can't even see my eyes. Keep being a smart a**, that's going to get you really ******** far in life." Finally rolling her eyes and snapping her binder shut she snatched it up and then grabbed her bag. Some kids looked at her but she simply moved in a empty seat next to Orion. "Don't mind me, just trying to finish these notes without being verbally abused." Without glancing over at Orion she pushed the glasses up the bridge of her nose, opened her binder again and then picked up her pen in her left hand, and started writing again.

She didn't have time to deal with Eric's problems today. It was bad as it was already that she was sitting behind the kid with the largest head in class and the possibly the worst body odor. Sighing softly when she finished up the last bullet she dropped the pen and started clamping her hand open and shut. Sitting back in her seat and then flipping back to the Mickey Mouse doodle she relaxed and let her eyes scan over it. It was in fact a simple drawing of Mickey, but a few details here and there around it could make it better. But she liked simple. She liked things in black and white. Including movies.

"Wake up, Tobi! Wake up!" Feeling weight being lifted off and on the mattress over and over again made Tobi groan a bit. Turning in his bed, he squashed his face deeper into his pillow as he gripped both sides. The weight stopped and landed right on his back. Feeling something... well more like... someone place a firm hand on the back of his head, he turned quickly, and found his sister sitting atop his abdomen. He cracked a half smile, she returned it. "Get up lazy butt, we have school." She said, sliding off and smoothing out her clothes. He propped himself up onto his elbows, "What are you doing up this early?" He asked in a yawn and she let out a single laugh.

"Really Tobi, think about it." She laughed, turning and cupping her hands around her mouth. "Me, up this early, ha! ... come on, what do you take me for..? An early bird special. Ding ding! Severed up on a silver platter, Sadia Hemmings, early bird." she shouted the last part and her hands fell to her sides after. "So, you're telling me I over slept?" he questioned, watching her walk over to his desk and picking up his song book, flipping it open. "Correct-a-moondo, capitano." she replied, flipping to the next page. "Right, and I'm secretly Batman." he rolled his eyes as he sat up in bed and stretched. "Fine, don't believe me, check the clock. she sighed, flipping the page.

Shifting over, Tobi reached over to turn the clock his way. "Impossible," He voiced when he read the time. He clicked a few buttons to bring up a menu. "I set this damn thing last night." he grumbled to himself, clicking the button a few more times. "Obviously not, otherwise I would have been awake hours ago, listening to mom and the step-losers morning argument....," her voiced trailed off as she read the next page of writing. "Give me that!" he voiced, throwing the covers off and getting out of bed. Sadia clung to the book as if her life depended on it, still reading, while Tobias desperately tried to pull it free from her grip.

"Damn it Sai, give it here! he demanded. She looked up and grinned, an evil glint flashing in her eyes. "As you wish," her grin grew wider, "Sai, do- - WAAAH! OOF!" Tobias yelled as his sister let go and he flew over his swivel chair, notebook flying in the air and both landed upside down against the wall, facing her. She burst into laughter, clapping her hands as Tobi toppled over onto his side. "Get oooouuuut." he groaned from the floor. "Teach you not to grab things out of someone's hands." she huffed and left the room, her laughter ceasing.

                        'b***h!'

Tobias slowly rose to his feet, wincing slightly at the pain that shot through his body and grabbed his songbook from the floor and moved over to sit on his bed. "You ******** b*****d, get out!" his mother shouted and CRASH! threw something glass that smashed against the wall in the hall away. "Crazy a** b***h!" his step-father shouted back, storming down the hall way. He stopped outside of Tobias' door. The boy looked up, "You're mother is one crazy b***h." his step-loser growled, coming to stand in the door way and leaning against the frame.

'And you just noticed this now? After how many years of being together, idiot.' he thought to himself and pursed his lips together nodding. "She needs to seek some help... for her issues!" he turned and shouted the last part down the hall. "Don't you ******** talk bad about me to my son, you piece of s**t!" his mother growled, storming down the hall and getting in his face. Sadia emerged from her room around this time. "Get the ******** out of my face, b***h." the step-loser hissed. His mother pointed a finger in the mans face. "Don't you curse at me, you a*****e.

"Get yer finger out of my face." the step-loser spat, angrily. "Oh, you don't like that, well how's this..?" She pushed his face back, with the whole palm of her right hand, he stumbled back just a small bit. This enraged the male further, where he went after their mother and Tobias had to jump into to get him off of her and receiving a clean cut to the face with the males fist. At this point Sadia already had phoned the police, they arrive within minutes and took statements as they arrested their step-loser yet again for domestic violence.

"You sure you'll be fine alone?"

"Yes, yes, go on and be sure to put ice on that eye."

Tobias nodded, "Bye mom." He kissed her cheek and walked out, with Sadia on his heels. They got in his car and headed to school. It was only a fifteen minute drive. They walked into the school building together and to their first class, which they had together.

Sitting in English class, Harley sat quietly with her chin propped up in her hands as her arm leaned on the desk. While everyone was either listening, or goofing off, she was trying to keep a relatively low profile. Why? To be honest, she was struggling not to fall asleep. She was tired. Harley hardly got enough sleep as it was, but then again, it was nothing different than usual. She always spent her nights gaming away or writing music. Harley was definitely a night person. She couldn't stand mornings and if she could, would wake up at two or three in the afternoon everyday. The brunette was obviously tired, but in all honesty it was just sixth period english class. It was one of the last classes of the day and she couldn't be more content with being in her bed at the moment. Once the bell rang, she would probably be wide-awake. Despite not paying too much attention, she wasn’t so much worried about her grades. She always seemed to get a B or A on everything she did in school, despite her sometimes having to play catch up. It was a good thing that she was naturally good at absorbing information in front of her. English probably wouldn’t be any different. It was usually the same s**t every year almost anyways. She just wanted to make sure the teacher wouldn’t call her out.

She had been “resting her eyes” for a few minutes, however, everyone seemed particularly rambunctious today, and in the class as well. So much that it was starting to wake her up a bit. It was probably the beach party tonight. It was a pretty big thing, and literally everyone was invited. Honestly, Harley wasn’t too sure if she was going tonight. It really depended on who was going, but at the sound of it, probably everyone one was. The thought was enough to keep her awake. She changed her position to lean back, slouching a little more in her chair, and raked her fingers through her hair. Her drowsy eyes glanced over to the clock above the door. She didn't have too much longer of class to go off of so she would try her best to look attentive or maybe scribble down some last minute notes if she could figure out what the hell their teacher had been talking about since class started.

As time went on, Orion stopped tapping on his notebook and found little things here and there to write down in his notes. When he wasn't writing snippets of information on urbanization he'd scribble the occasional bar of notes in the margins. Orion's attention was diverted from the board to his phone when it lit up with a text from Chandler. He smiled and then picked up his phone to reply.

                                                    To: Chip w/o Dale
Sure, we can go together. I know India's going, not sure about Ellie.

After putting his phone down, Orion wrote a few more notes before sighing and glancing around the room. He hoped that there wouldn't be homework that evening, not because it wouldn't get done because of the party, but he didn't want to spend his free period the next day doing it, nor did he want to be up until three in the morning doing schoolwork. While Orion was writing notes, his phone lit up again. He glanced at it but continued to write notes. Upon finishing the section, he sat back in his chair and picked up his phone as it lit again. He threw a quick glance at the teacher before reading the two texts, both from Lina.

                                                    To: Lina
Yeah, you could definitely come over (: A jam session is a jam session no matter where it is.

Setting his phone down once more, Orion flipped to a new page in his notebook and began to scribble down some bars of music, expanding on what he'd had in the margins of his history notes. He didn't pay much mind when he heard a binder snap closed, but when the owner of said binder sat beside him, he looked up. "Don't mind me, just trying to finish these notes without being verbally abused," the girl had said, he thought he remembered her name to be Alexa. He raised an eyebrow and quietly mumbled an "Alright?" before turning back to his notebook. It was nothing special really, just a song that he'd been playing a lot recently and liked to keep fresh in his mind.

»» Sadia awoke with a frightful scream and her body sprung forward. Beads of sweat dampened her forehead and down her neck. Her hair clinging to the sticky wetness. Her breathing was rapid and coming in short gasps for air. She had yet another one of those horrid nightmares. Swallowing hard, she looked around her room, frantic and alert. When she cleared her room for any sign of those things from her dreams, she slowly started to calm down. Inhaling and exhaling deeply, she threw back her covers and slid out of bed. She slipped into the bathroom, and over to the sink. Gripping the sides with both hands, she took a long look in the mirror at her pale reflection and glassy eyes. You'd think by now, my age, shouldn't be having recurring nightmares. It's pathetic. She moved her hands over to turn on the faucet. The water spurted to life in the sink and the sound filled the quietness that surrounded her.

»» Quickly she cupped her hands underneath the water catching as much as she could and leaned over to splash it on her face, a few times, and felt around for the towel rack. Towel in hand, she pulled it to her and dried her face. After, she picked up her tooth brush and some toothpaste, squirted a bit on the brush and stuck it in her mouth to brush out her nasty morning breath. It only took her no longer then fifteen minutes, then she shut the water off and put everything away in it's place. Then she walked back into her room and retrieved her make-up bag, heading back into the bathroom. Applying make-up only took her fifteen minutes as well. Walking back into her room once satisfied, she put the bag back on her dresser, then finally got dressed and walked out to go wake her brother. Usually it was the other way around, he'd been the one coming into her room and waking her up. But today was off, and ruined her whole schedule plan of messing with her brother every morning, so she thought she'd improvise something.

»» She walked into his room and jumped on his bed, next to his sleeping form.

                                                          ( TIME SKIP )

»» The car ride was unusually quiet, normally they would be listening to music or talking about random stuff, but today, Tobias made no effort in doing anything but driving, which was pretty annoying in Sadia's mind. Two can play at that game. she thought and turned her attention out the window. Two minutes in, "Did you catch last nights game?" she broke the silence between them, finding anything to talk about just to get him to talk. Tobias merely side glanced her flashing an angry sort of look, and that was it. No word exchange, no nothing, just a cold side glare. "Oh, come on. You can't still be mad at me..." "I can and I am." He voiced and Sadia flashed him a side ways goofy grin. "Yaay, you talked to me!" she beamed and Tobias rolled his eyes, turning onto the street the school was on.

»» Sticking out her finger slowly, she brought it over to poke his cheek, softly. "Admit it, you talked to me, admit it!" she exclaimed, continuing to poke his soft, squishy cheek. But when she got no reaction, she moved lower and started to poke his side, also known for being his sensitive tickle spot. Receiving her poke, Tobias jerked side ways, slightly. She did it again and he jumped a bit more. Again. Poke. Jerk. Again. Poke. Jerk. Again. Poke. Jerk. Swerve. BEEEEEEEEEEP! Swerve back, almost colliding with a car. Sadia jumped at the surprised turn of events and Tobias slammed on the breaks, swerving into the parking lot, getting more horns of angry drivers. He stopped and turned in his seat. "Are you crazy?! Or just stupidly insane. Because you could have gotten us killed, with your reckless behavior!" He barked furiously at her.

»» Sadia remained still, quiet, trying to calm her fast paced heart rate, while trying not to show the hurt on her face and instead she redirected it to anger. Her fuse snapped. "WELL EXCUSE ME FOR WANTING SOME AFFFECTION FROM MY OLDER BROTHER!" She yelled as loud as she could, which was pretty loud. It got some looks from passerby's on the street. Tobias groaned, "By trying to make me have a reck, Sai, think before you act next time. You never think. You're all action and no brains, f*ck!" He growled, slamming his hand on the steering wheel, to show how angry he was. "I do to have brains, other wise I'd be a hospitalized veggie." She shot back, defensively.

»» "Might as well be. You hardly use them anyway." Tobi snorted, unbuckling his seat belt and stepping out before she was able to respond. Sadia gawked after him, before following his exact movements and slammed the door, jogging after him. "You're a jerk!" She whined coming to match his strides. "Nothing I haven't heard before." He commented, reaching back to click the lock on his key chain, the car flashed, meaning it was locked and his hand fell to his side, keys making it into his pants pockets as they walked into the school building. The silence took over again as they walked side by side down the hall, towards their class. Reaching the door, Tobias walked in, but she stayed behind and pulled out her phone to shot a text to her best friend, James.

                                                          To: James
                                                          From: Sadia
Hey~ after class meet me in the café. Same table, okie dokie.

She hit the send key and proceeded into her class.

[Out.Of.Corrots: Hope this post is okay. (:]

The history lesson dragged on and Kimberly couldn't focus on it at all. There were many other things that shew as thinking about. Dancing. Failing. Her tutor sessions. The party that was coming up. The outfit she was wearing for the party. Tobias. Where is Tobias? she thought to herself. She hadn't seen him most of of the day. She hadn't seen Tobias or his sister, Sadia all day. Yes. Leave your friend to fend for herself. she thought to herself. Finally the bell rang and she thanked the heavens. Her next period was Study Hall which usually meant do nothing, but James was going to help her with practically every class that she had since she was failing them all. Kimberly gathered her things and started walking down the hall with her phone in hand, refreshing her twitter feed. She hadn't written anything for the past two days and she didn't exactly know what to write.

Kimberly pocketed her phone and tried to remember exactly where her 7th period study hall was. Most of the time she would just go in the dance studio to practice, but today was a special day. It wasn't helping that teenagers were stopping or walking really slowly in the halls. It made it harder to see which class was which. I feel like the new girl she said, even though she wasn't. Finally she made it to study hall and she was the first one here. Well the first one here of people she cared about. She was waiting for James, Daniyel, or Tobias to show up and save her from complete boredom. Well learning with James is boring, but it is better than trying to teach herself. She found a table to sit at and she put her bag on the table. She pulled out her phone and opened a new message.

To: Tobias
It's 7th period and I haven't seen you all day! I hope you have study hall.

The message sent and she decided to play games on her phone until her tutor arrived.

                                                        Location: English Class → Hallway → Study Hall 〉 〈 Company: Kimberly 〉 〈 Feeling: Relieved → Excited 〉

When the English class met its end, James was ready to proceed onward to enjoy his Study Hall period. It sucked that the assignment brought about a handful of silence. “I’ll see you guys after school, yeah?” he said aloud, waving to Daniyel primarily. However, he received a text from his good friend Sadia whom insisted he meet her at the café after class. He happily replied to the message. While there was a room specific for the class, the students were not obligated to go to that classroom. After all, less than half the students that ever signed up for the class really were in the classroom. Some even left the school, which was a most convenient choice when it was set at seventh period. He often went to the Library for this, but this time he’d be heading off to the café. Fortunately, the café offered a vegetarian alternative using soy milk for their coffee.

While he walked, he remembered that he needed to tutor Kimberly. Fortunately, the café was actually a much more welcoming setting than the study hall’s classroom. Nevertheless, he walked to the classroom so he could tell Kimberly in-person. “Hey, Kimberly! It’ll be pretty dull in here later. Do you want to just study up at the café? Sadia will be over there too. I wonder if Tobias is coming. Coffee on me?” he said. After all, regardless of whether it was him with the original idea, it’d be nice of him to offer paying for a lady’s coffee. It wasn’t like it would burn his wallet. Besides, she was a good friend; it was the least he could do.
