"um...what clan are you?" she asked cautiously.

"He doesn't belong to any clan. As far as we know." Shimo said rudely.

she took a couple of steps back and growled loudly. "your a free-roamer then. a demon and a free-roamer wolf." she unconsiously brought her hand to her left shoulder, where her clan mark was. if ive survived this far, i can last through the demons terrritory.if they get near me...ill just burn them.

"If free-roamers what you want to.. But I just don't remember ever joining a clan... Or really being born into one." Sei said laughing nervously. "Shimo's in a clan though." Sei cut his sleeve and revealing a mark on his forearm.

she looked cautiously at the two boys, then slowly walked over. what the...? a frown appeared on her face as she looked at the mark. "how on earth...??" she shook her head and backed away. "i-i better show you m-mine then, as is t-tradition.."she mumbled nervously as she lifted up her left sleeve, showing a collection of scars and cuts. but on her shoulder was her clan mark.

"Well my clan is a variety of demons.. so.." Shimo said repairing his sleeve. He looked at her mark. "I've never seen it before."
Sei examines it trying not to touch her. "I have.." He said finally recognizing it.

her face no longer hid what she felt. she was angry and scared. she pulled her sleeve down, and stared at sei with concentrated fury, struggling not to scream. "how and when." she growled.

"A couple of months before I came here. I was walking around when I was attacked. I ripped the attackers shirt and saw the mark. I managed to get away without hurting the attacker." Sei explained.

nonono! suddenly she couldnt control herself. as her flames made of anger engulfed her body, she ran forward, grabbing sei by neck and slammed him against the wall. "who was it!" she shouted as tears streamed down her face. he was the only one that was away then...no it couldnt be! noo...he wouldnt do such a thing...or would he?

"I dunno. I don't normally ask for my attackers names." Sei said sarcastically

she tightened her grip until blood ran from his neck. she chanelled some of her fire down her hand, burning his neck. "dont play games. boy or wolf?" she growled.

Sei sank into the wall and appeared on the other side. "Boy. Though I think he was a wolf demon."

"THAT GARBAGE! IM GLAD THAT HE DIED!" she screamed. she fell to her knees and pounded her fists into the ground until they bled. she turned wolf and curled up into a tight ball as tears dripped down her muzzle. why would he do such a thing? "why? i trusted him" she sobbed quietly. for once, she was acting her age.

Sei walked up to her and kneeled next to her. He slightly put his hand on her back. "What happened to him?"
