Rand hears Zac and looks up at him. "Hey, nice to see you." Rand said struggling to his feet "Sei and Shadow ok?" he asked finally being able to get up, but in the process he coughed up a little more blood. He staggered over to wall closest to the door. When he reached it he put his back to it and looked over at Takashi. "Don't worry, I didn't get in this bad of shape without dis-arming him." Rand said looking at Takashi still, but talking mainly to Zac. "Think you can finish this Zac?"

Everything was a blur, then everything stopped. Shadow was beyond confusion now; it didn't help that everything didn't stop moving either. "Ahh, Takeshi? What are you doing here? I thought you had gone off to a different part of the castle." She mumbled, still not realising that he was the boss - Rand had been erased by the sudden rush of wind and blurs. Stumbling like a drunkard, she made her way towards the boss, before smiling feebly.
"Are you gonna help us?!" She asked, running shakily and glomping the final boss, grimacing slightly as the flame started consuming her elbow. 'Finally, we might get a chance of winning this.'

"Why, hello there Shadow." Takeshi says, completely confused about what was going on. "You could say I'm going to help you..." He looks over towards the others. "Is anyone going to tell her the situation here..?" Takeshi mouths, patting her head with his only hand.
Sei peeks into the room to see why it seemed so quiet only to see what was going on. He couldn't help but laugh to himself, which obviously annoyed Takeshi into sending a wind blade obviously at him. "I don't know what's gotten into that girl... But this is turning out to be pretty amusing.

"Ahh...it's good that your helping us; i didn't think we were all gonna get out of here alive a while ago. Now that your here now, though..." Shadow trailed of wearily, still hugging Takeshi. "My arm hurts quite a bit, but i think it was worth it. It weakened that nasty guy quite alot, although Zac nearly got stuck." She said matter-of-factly, temporarily gaining the mentality of a child. "Sei should be ok, but im still worried i didn't seal it properly. Rand is bleeding, but i can't smell anything anymore.." She trailed off as she yawned widely.
"Ne, wasn't Rand fighting a moment ago? I wonder where the bad guy went?" She finally said, releasing the final boss but not stepping away from him. Straining to focus her eyes, she peered around the darkness.

Takeshi lets out a sigh. "Shadow..." He says, sighing. "He left. The bad guy ran off after Rand severely hurt him." Takeshi looks at the others, having no clue why he was trying to keep her from knowing he was the bad guy. "Yep. Rand's a hero. You and Zac should take him back to the school to get all healed up. I'll take Shimo and Sei and see if there is anyone else still here and convince them to leave here and join the school."

Shadow shook her head carefully. "That wouldn't do. We either finish this all together, or we all go back. okay?" Sher grinned at him cheerfully, before waving the remains of her flaming left arm in the air. "Anyway, i wanna get back at the people that done all this to us. Sei's been slashed, Zac's been turned into a statue, Rand bled alot, and i seem to be going wrong." She laughed again, innocently. "It seems like you and Shimo are the only ones that nothing bad has happened to yet - right?" Sudden concern swept across her face.
"you didn't get hurt, did you?"

((...not quite sure what to do, tbh, so lets stall until someone does something to change the situation :p ))

"No, no. Me and Shimo are in perfect working condition... Shimo's just exhausted from the last stretch of the fight." Takeshi looks at Shimo, who had a bit of smoke coming from his chest. "He accidently got hit by one of Rand's attacks..." He says and looks at Shadow. "He should be alright though. Knowing his family, he'll be all better in a few minutes."

(Seems like that's the only option...)

"uh..." Rand started not quite sure why Takashi wasn't taking advantage of shadow just standing there "shadow.." he said making his presence know and pointed at Takashi "he's the bad guy... in our fight I took his arm, but that cost me..." he said trying not to cough up a bit more blood.

"Shadow, you need to get away from him, he betrayed us. He IS the final boss." Zac said, wondering why Shadow was acting like she was.

"...eh?" Shadow asked, confusion and fear evident on her face. 'Ah...no, not this again. This can't happen again..' She nervously laughed at the two, waving the air as if shooing away a child. "Aah, don't joke about things like that. There's no way a nakama would betray us again, right? It can't turn out before; don't say such silly things!" She hurriedly said, trying to persuade herself more than reply to the two.
"There's no way that can be right, am i right, Takeshi?" She asked nervously, glancing up at him. "Just because you've lost an arm, doesn't mean your the bad guy, right? The final boss ran away, right?" 'Don't kid yourself. Shut up, shut up, shut up! there's no way it'll happen again! you never learn, do ya, kid?'

(( hmm....i wonder if i could explode...? -evil giggle- ))

"Shadow...." Zac said, about ready to dash to her to get her away.

Takeshi lets out a deep sigh. "He will in the end." He says holding out his hand and a blade of wind appears in front of it. "Sorry but they're telling the truth. Let this prove it." He moves his hand to face Shimo, who still laid unconscious. The wind shoots straight towards him.
Sei dashes into the room and tries to protect Shimo by knocking the wind away, but all he could succeed in doing is absorbing half of the wind and make sure the rest didn't hit anything vital too hard. Sei's sword slowly gains a break as he falls to his knees again. 'Right when I feel better too...'
"I don't know if you can see it, but you smell it right? It's more fresh blood." Takeshi says, looking at Shimo and Sei. "It's the demon brothers'... They're both dying... And I'm the one who put them in that condition." He says, with a hint of regret in his voice. "I'm evil, Shadow. I've betrayed you all. And now... It's only you and Zac that stand in my way."

(... Yep... I'm putting my characters in a life-threatening condition again.)

(( ne, at least your characters aren't degenerating and unstable XD hmm.....how to effectively go loopy.....aah, gonna wing this one, so be warned -puts on radioactive suit- )) (( aahh, first step of self destruction - lose physical form =) ))

Shadow stood still. She saw that Takeshi's mouth was moving, but no sound was coming out. There was something that smelt bad nearby, but she couldn't turn to see. The darkness seemed to spin thickly around her, causing the shapes of everyone to blur and contort. She should be more worried, but she couldn't summon the effort. 'see, kid? It's just gonna happen again and again. They're all gonna die, and it'll be his fault. He's a traitor. Not again....please, not again!'
A loud ripping sound crashed through the tension in the room, and jagged cracks started spreading across Shadow's pale skin, the unnatural gaps letting loose unbelievable heat. "Not again! Please, not again! I don't want them to get hurt again!" She suddenly wailed, falling to her knees and clutching her head in panic. 'Not again! It hurts!' The cracks widened, and, when there seemed to be more cracks than skin, her body simply...started to burn away.

((temptation to carry on writing, but i suppose i should let you guys react first sweatdrop ))

"SHADOW!!!" Zac cries, running to her and getting in front of her. "Shadow! Get ahold of yourself! We're NOT going to die! We're all coming out of this ALIVE!" Zac said, feeling something stir deep inside him.
