"Grrrr, these guys are so annoying. Let's end this and get inside the fort." Zac planted his feet into the ground, took a deep breath, and blew a huge stream of flame incinerating the remaining guards on the roof. "Ooo, spicy. Can you continue on Shadow?" Zac said, looking back at her.

Shadow smiled weakly, before carefully climbing to her feet, swaying slightly as she struggled to focus her eyesight on something. "thanks Rand, i owe you one. And i should be able to carry on, but i might not be much help. This place is laced with silver, so....yeah, im pretty useless." 'I might be able to burn someone if we're in a pinch....and it seems i can still smell clearly...'
"Should we head down to let Sei and Shimo in? I think we need numbers at the moment." She giggled quietly, trying and failing to count the crisps on the floor.

"No problem Shadow, and I think you might be right about letting them in. Shadow do you want to step outside for a second? It might help." Rand asked trying to think of a way to make it so Shadow can help.

Shadow half shrugged, her mind already running away in thought. "Whatever you think is best." She said trustingly, temporarily forgetting about the silver in her train.

"Alright, lets go." Zac said, heading to the door from which Sei and Shimo. The group reach the door. "Sei we're opening the door to let you guys in." Zac yelled from the opposite side of the door from Sei.

"About time!" Sei yells back, stumbling back from the door again, into Shimo. "Reinforcing that thing sucked..."
"Good job though." Shimo says, unsure why they don't just let Sei use the door with his powers to help fight. "Oh wait... He's still gotta stop escapees..."

Zac melted the lock and opened the door allowing Sei and Shimo in. "Sorry it took so long. We ran over a couple of bumps." Zac said, pointing to the dead guards.

Sei takes a few deep breaths and gathers himself. He walks in, followed by Takeshi and Shimo. "As long as we don't all die, it doesn't really matter..." Sei says and takes another deep breathe. "And I don't think that's even close to the beginning of them..."

Shadow followed quietly behind Zac, glancing down the numerous corridors nervously. The constant ache was building up again, and she shuddered, dreading going deeper in. "We have to be careful here - i think these people are as paranoid as prey." She pulled a face, leaning against the wall before jerking away again.

"I bet they are..." Takeshi says, summoning up his scythe. "I wouldn't be surprised if there's traps left and right." He continues, slightly smiling at Shadow. "Of course I guess they found you pretty threatening if they went through the trouble of messing with their base."

Shadow chuckled quietly, looking down a random passageway. "Nah, they're probably worried about a werewolf coming in here and getting lost - it usually leads to a widespread raid. I hope they haven't got sprinklers in here though..." She sighed, before grinning weakly. "Well, I could always explode in a pinch." she added quietly.

Rand followed them down and waited for something to happen. He wasn't usually an idea starter so he was content to wait.

(Guess this is that part where I plan gets paused so we can think of the next step...)

"So how are we going to go about attacking..? I mean they have this huge area of known territory... Should we just charge in?" Takeshi says, slightly glad he has such few friends in this place.

(( heh, it seems we got stuck a bit. should we just walk through a random door and confront the boss? -reminded of seymour from ffx- ))

Shadow shrugged. "Why not? its pointless using stealth, because they've noticed us. Why don't we look around for a big door labelled 'Boss'?"

((Yeah, that was random when he just showed up in the mountains, i was like 'WTF?!?'))
"You mean like that one?" Zac said, pointing to the door with the big letters saying 'Final Boss'. "Why do I get the feeling we're in a video game?" Zac said with a sweat bead on his head as he read what the door said.
