Impermissus and Cory did cut Memoria some slack, after all, they couldn't risk killing her in their spar. Impermissus could make her explode with a well placed punch, whereas Cory was too used to targeting vitals that only took cuts to kill, and his runes when that failed. Impermissus kept to clunky, slower moves, giving Memoria a chance to get out of the way, while Cory avoided using any form of shadow steps or ambush style maneuvers. Even with Impermissus holding back, the earth still shattered with every attack that struck the earth, however, they were only cracks, Impermissus knew how much Terra was connected to the earth, and as much as possible tried to avoid destroying as much. Cory kicked and swung his blades left to right. For Memoria, things seemed to suddenly get slower, as if it were all in slow motion. Of course, Memoria moved slow too, but her reaction time became insanely faster. She parried one of Cory's daggers and gave a quick sweeping kick, taking his feet from the ground. She again attacked with one of her katanas and Cory barely blocked it, being pushed back a good deal. Impermissus seemed to ignore it and charged in, targetting her mid-section with a right punch. Memoria jumped, doing a frontal flip and propelling herself from Impermissus punching arm with her left hand and got behind him, and made a swing at him as he dodged away.
Impermissus and Cory were awestruck at her sudden improvement, even though the two held back they were still fighting hard enough to give her a hard time. This was most impressive.
"Well done, Memoria. I am impressed!" He exclaimed, giving her applause. Cory sheathed his daggers, keeping quiet and showing no emotion. Though it would be safe to assume he was proud. Memoria smiled widely and bowed.
"Thank you! I'm getting better thanks to you!" Her smile was broad and one of utter happiness about her achievement. She looked cute with it, her katanas in each hand, one red, one blue. Very, very precious to her. She was beyond happy of her progress...and she hoped that soon, she may finally ascend and earn her wings.
"So, shall we continue?"
Dirge continued to soar into the skies, closing his eyes and taking a deep breath. Enjoying the wind flowing through his hair, through his feathers. Suddenly, a voice calls, seemingly from in his head.
I found you. All he saw was red. He felt warm liquid flow from his torn flesh, and he was falling from the sky, the chilling voice stunning him, the wound petrifying him. He was falling, and he was completely limp. He was falling, and he was to die...in that sickening moment, he realized he was without his kisk. If he died now, it would be final.
Sapientia shuddered, she knew for sure what had happened. She picked up one of her books and rushed out the door. She ran by Scarlet, sprinting at full speed, she didn't give sign of recognition towards her. She had to keep running, if she didn't make it in time she knew Dirge was dead. Little did she know that Dirge was falling, and that itself would kill him before his assailants attack. Even more, that assailant was already gone, a swift attempt of revenge, to be rid of those who may rise to stop him again.
Omnium had just made an attempt on Dirge's life, if they didn't act soon, Omnium will have succeeded in taking out the wielder of his powers counterpart.
((EDIT: changing Memorias text color to blue....I dislike the color cyan in text, but I didn't before because I used it for Morbi once :L buuuut not like it matters at this point lol))
