Welcome to Gaia! ::

Vesper walked down the hallway, the soles of his shoes making a distinct "click click click" sound.

He stopped for a moment and looked up and down the length of the hallway, running a hand through his hair.

His hand drifted lazily to the hilt of his bokken.

He scratched his head thoughtfully, gray eyes flashing slightly in the sunlight.

I'm... early, I suppose. he thought, and reached into his pocket.

He withdrew a crumpled piece of paper and looked at it dully.

A-1? he thought disjointedly.

He resumed walking, crumpling the sheet of paper in his gloved hand. He casted his gaze upon the classroom doors, seeking the room that was his only destination.

Will and Sadie went side by side through the empty hallway. "It's official. We're lost". "A-1... It should be this way". "Oh look. He'll know". They walked up to Vesper. "Hello. Do you know where A-1 is?" They smiled and waited for an answer.
Vesper was deep in his own thoughts, and was jerked out of them by two kids, younger than him it seemed. He shook his head as if to clear his thoughts, and replied in a soft, gruff voice.

"I'm... not really sure. I'm looking for it myself, and you're welcome to help me."

His grey-green eyes flicked back and forth between them once, then back up the hallway.

"Okay," they said in unison. They followed behind him looking for the room. "I'm Will by the way". "And I'm Sadie". "What's you name?" They were still smiling.
Vesper looked back and flicked a stray strand of hair out of his eyes. "I'm... Vesper. Yes, that seems right." he said, almost a mutter.

"Pleased... to make your acquaintence." he said, and looked back down the hallway.

"Ah, here we are." he said, halting suddenly in front of a plain oaken door labeled 'A-1'.

He placed a hand on the steel-colored handle and twisted, gently pushing the door open. He walked in a few steps, and noted that the room was completely empty, save for one girl in the front row.

He nodded toward her as a slight greeting and took a seat in the far back of the room, near the window.

User ImageRin watched the trio that cam walking in then at the time. Each one of them were at least on time to say the least and judging on first impressions none looked her social type. She sighed and hopped from the ledge of the window. "Have any of you seen our teacher? It's almost time to start class and we were left with no work."
Vesper propped his long legs up his desk and looked out the window, not physically acknowledging the fact that he was spoken to. He sat quietly for a few seconds before replying softly.

"I... I'm not sure how I got here. And I have no idea where the teacher is. I'm only here because... I am." he finished, simply.

He leaned back, placed his hands behind his head, lacing his fingers together and staring at the ceiling.

"I haven't seen the teacher". "Maybe they're late". They smiled at her. "I'm sure they'll be here soon though". "They can't just ignore our class".
Vesper sighed a little overdramatically and blew a stray strand of hair out of his face, grimacing.

"Teacher... yes, the teacher will be here, if they weren't, why would we be here?" he asked, as much to himself as to those around him.

He leaned forward, placing his laced-together fingers on the desk in front of him, then unclasped his hands. He drummed on the desk absently and stared off into the distance, deep in thought.

Rin looked at the three and sighed. 'This year is going to be crappy,' she instantly thought." Well until she arrives how about we start some review. Is this you guys first year transferring in?" She asked to them all since she didn't recognize any of the face from her class last year.
"This our first year in 1-A". "We've been in the school for a few years". "And we've been fighting for longer". "Were a team and have never been beaten". They were still overly cheery and smiling. Always make a good impression, they both thought.
Vesper flicked up his gray-green eyes and met Rin's gaze, then looked away.

"First year? Yeah. First year." he said softly, looking confused.

He looked out the window feeling a bit subconcious, and resumed drumming his fingers on the desk.

He thought for a few seconds, then turned back.

"What are we doing here? Fighting? I don't fight."

The two of them looked at him with raised eyebrows. "Don't fight?" "That's the whole point of this school". "And this is the top class". "For the best fighters". For the first time, they were no long smiling. Their faces were neutrally surprised.
