She turned a corner and tripped, scattering her items around her. She began picking up her pencils and drawing pads, hoping to get to her class on time.

Lin walked down several halls before finding the art room. She sighed and entered, sitting at a table near the window. The teacher spoke, "Now that everyone's here we'll begin. I'll pass out the projects you've been working on for the past week" she said, handing the students each a ball of clay. "Today is the day we acually make our creations. You have th entire class period, I must go to the office for a meeting, you know what to do. Begin" and with that she walked out the door, leaving the class to work. Many began working with their clay immediately, though others sat in thought, tyring to get an idea of what to make. Without concentrating Lin picked up her clay and began pinching, proding, and just messing around with her clay. She was thinking about her parents, who were probably at home thinking of their child. She had been takin away and was now living with foster parents, the third set. She had refused to become close with any of her foster parents, as she believed that she would be able to go back to her own parents one day. A few tears began to form in her eyes, though she brushed them away, looking down to what she had made. It was a small fox cub with three tails and small horns. She set it down to the side of her, taking out her drawing pad and scetching away.

Lin looked out the window. The teacher walked in, "I have to get back to the meeting, at the end of class you may leave, set your projects on the back table then you may leave." she announced, then again left. Lin looked at the clock, about 10 more minutes of class ,then she'd have a 30 minute break before her next class. As she looked around some kids were already leaving, so she stood, placed her fox on the table, then headed out the door, stoppign by her locker to put her things away.
