There are many different personalities congregated within these walls, and the staff try their best to acknowledge unique talents as well as encourage them to hone their talents. Not only is Bel Esprit home to those with incredulous gifts, it also welcomes those lucky enough to be accepted with open arms. There is plenty to learn and loads of unique classes; inspired by the requests of the very students the high school houses.

● No Cybering ( Time-skip it)

● Be nice to the other RPers and give them respect. Remember you get respect as long as you give it.
● Follow the rules or you will get kicked out.
● Semi-Literate (At least a paragraph, no one-liners. If you get writer's block: relax and think about it.)
● No Text-Speak (Unless your character's manner of speech is poor or your character is using a cell phone)
● You are allowed to have up to two characters in the RP.
● Post often! If you don't post within ONE WEEK, RPers are allowed to skip over you and resume the RP. ( It would also help if you gave the others a heads up when you're going to be gone. )
● OoC in (( )), [ ], etc. and speech in " " and thoughts in italics.
● Any appearance picture is allowed, just no doodles. ( If you are unsure if it's a doodle or not, send the picture to me and I'll look them over to assure you if it's okay. )
● Have at least TWO core classes!
● If I make a final decision it's FINAL. I will not tolerate any flak or opinions or statements after I make a decision final. No matter if they are for the decision or against the decision. I will always ask for other opinions before I make something final unless it's something I want done fast and quick or if we had the discussion before and I don't feel like we need another one. I am going to be more forceful in this rule and in my statements to make sure everyone knows when it is final.

~ School Events ~

Homecoming Week: ( Monday, September 23rd - Friday, September 27th )
Monday|"Crazy" Hat Day - The first day of homecoming and Bel Esprit is having it's annual "Crazy" Hat Day. The one homecoming event that has been around since the opening of the school. Students are allowed to wear hats of any kind: crazy or normal. Whatever you want that goes on your head and that is school appropriate is alright on this day. Students should keep in mind that any hat that is large or wide and distracting for other students will be asked to take it off during class.

Tuesday|Celebrity Day - On the second day of homecoming, Bel Esprit is starting a new event day. On this day, students are encouraged to dress up as their favorite celebrity either from music, television, movies, internet, even a cultural/pop phenomenon. The possibilities are endless! Students are reminded to keep it school appropriate and anything worn that is distracting to other students will be asked to remove them during class.

Wednesday|Pajama Day - It's the third day of homecoming and the school has allowed students to wear their pajamas all day for school! A reminder to the student population, please be mindful of what you wear. Cover up all undergarments such as bras and underwear, wear shoes (slippers are okay).

Thursday|Throwback Day - It's a blast from the past at Bel Esprit! On the fourth day of homecoming we're turning back the clocks to the 90's, 80's, 70's and so on! Students are welcomed to come to school wearing clothes from the past. If it was worn in the past, then wear it today. No revealing clothes, keep undergarments hidden from view and remember to keep it school appropriate. Wigs are acceptable if students wish to use them but let it be known that if it is a distraction in class: You will be required to take it off during class.

Friday|Homecoming Football Game/School Spirit Day/Homecoming Parade/Homecoming Dance - Go Raccoons! The big homecoming game is here at Bel Esprit against our rival, the Bulldogs.
All day during school wear your School Colors and whoever has the most wild and/or fun outfit for School Spirit. They will be rewarded a gift certificate to anywhere in the mall. Winners will be picked by school staff.
After school will be the Homecoming Parade, the principal will choose the winning float and the winning club will receive $200 towards their club budget and a mention in the school's year book.
Being the last day of homecoming, after the big game will be the school's homecoming dance. Student attire should be semi-formal. The dance will last until 1am.


Halloween at Bel Esprit: ( Thursday, October 31st )
School is only for half a day due to the Holiday. Classes will end at 11:30am. During the half day, Bel Esprit invites their students to come in Halloween costume. There will be two teachers monitoring the front door; Students with costumes that have masks are required to take them off at the front doors. This is to ensure the safety of Bel Esprit's students. Any student who does not follow this rule will receive an in-school suspension the following day.

~ Vacations ~

Winter Break: ( Friday, December 20th - Monday, January 6th )
December 20th is the last day of school before Winter Break. The campus will be open for all students to come and go as they please. Classrooms will be locked but students may use the library, gym/fitness room and the commons. The Nurse's office will be open and there will still be security on campus. Our kitchen staff will still have the regular time to serve Breakfast, Lunch and Dinner. We would like to remind students who are choosing to stay on campus during the break that there will be a limited amount of staff on campus and to use their best judgement when on campus. Anything that goes against school rules and the law will be dealt with double the school punishment.
Another reminder for students is on December 25th, 31st and January 1st. There will be only kitchen volunteers on campus to serve food to students but it should be noted that there will be little to no supervision. All emergencies must be taken to the city's Hospital and Police/Fire Force if there is need for their services. Bel Esprit puts absolute trust in our students to behave during the Holidays. On these three days, if there is any disturbance that goes against school rules and/or the law. The school's punishment may be severe to the point where the student may be expelled. Please use caution during the Holidays.

Spring Break: ( Friday, March 7th - Monday, March 17th )

Aks shut door as she headed towards to the school. This is going to be fun! Meeting new people having new teachers!! Not... She sighed as she started playing with her ear lobes. Then she she yelled out loud at the top of her lunges. "OH MY FREAKIN JESUS!!" She shut her eyes but continued walking as she took small breathes. She opened her eyes to see the glorious school. Her eye widened. "I didn't realize..." She walked through the gates as she kind of relaxed. She rumaged through her bag and found her scedule and locker number. She smiled as she looked up at the school. This won't be to bad....

Paris walked briskly down the sidewalk towards the school with his large yellow messenger bag; he had gotten up early for the new school day. To him and a few people, as well as freshman, this was his first day in a new school. Paris had recently moved to the area in the summer with his family. His father, who he rarely talks to like his mother, had to move because of work. Paris had to leave all of the friends he had made. It wasn't hard for him to accept the new change, being a social butterfly had it's advantages. Moving from peer group to peer group didn't give Paris enough time to forge any deep relationship. He walked past the gates to his new school and took in a huge, fresh intake of the outdoor school air.
"Hello~ Everyone!" Paris loudly exclaimed to anyone in ear's reach of him. A cheerful smile on his face as he looked around.

Oh my gosh. And that guy, he looks exotic... Oh my gosh I am so judgemental. She started to take really small steps towards the door of the school as she pretended to be a queen.

Paris kept his cheerful grin seeing a few students acknowledge his greeting. One person, that seemed to catch his eye, was a girl with long, black hair. Girls and women always seemed to attract his eye when looking out in a crowd or at anything he was just looking at. He decided to do the same as the girl and walk toward the doors. He seemed to be a bit quicker than he normally walked. Paris was soon walking behind the girl.
"Hello there, My name is Paris Ulrich. What, may I ask, is yours?" Paris questioned in a friendly, smooth manner.

The warm morning sun met closed eyelids as the lanky man stirred from his rather uncomfortable sleep. There was a soft, cool breeze and a jovial chirping of young birds surrounding him. As he opened his eyes, the blue haired man yawned and fell off the bench he’d been laying on. He hit the grass with a thud and covered his head as if he were about to be attacked by something unseen. When he slowly got up from his spot, he looked around with weary eyes. He spotted his bag at his feet and picked it up as he stood upright. Shoot!! Why do I keep doin that? he asked himself as he pulled off his headphones and rubbed his sleep-ridden eyes. He yawned again and went to the door of the courtyard to let himself back in to the building. Hopefully no one had noticed his overnight presence so he wouldn’t have to have a chat with the principal. Hopefully he wasn’t late for school already. He could do nothing but hope as he sighed, opening the door and returning to the confines of the building. He decided to just head to the commons and check the time.
He hoped, again, that not too many people would be round when he checked the clock....
