It was finally Friday. To be exact it was Friday October 26th. On any typical Friday Noel was lucky not to have any classes. He would normally use this day to get caught up on any homework that he needed to finish. This was rarely the case because Noel was very good at keeping up with his studies. Now while the teen normally didn’t have class on Fridays, he did have Cello lessons. It was only an hour so it wasn’t a big deal. Noel loved his schedule this semester and wished that he would always have the same one, even if he knew that wasn’t going to be the case. Every weekend was a three day weekend for him. Today however his cello instructor canceled on him, so he had the whole day completely free. Though being that it was the weaken before Halloween free wasn’t the correct term to use. Noel was part of a fraternity and that meant one never exactly had free time. Specially with another event coming up.

House Zeus. Which was made up of demi-gods - male and female alike. So, yes… Noel was in fact a demi-god. His mother Chione goddess of ice and snow. One could only speculate what his own abilities were. However at Arkwright having abilities didn’t make one abnormal.. in fact what Noel thought made him different from everyone actually made him fit in at this university. A.U. was a great school, well at least that is what Noel had thought so far. Each House competed in different events all year to win a certain house cup. Currently Noel’s house actually had the cup. However during the first event Noel, had been part of the team that competed to earn points and they lost - fourth place. House Zues received twenty points however they were going to have to do a lot more to get ahead. Their next even was next week, along with a party. Noel only hopped not to be picked again.. He also hoped to get a good costume for the party as well. Noel, being afraid of crowds hated the idea of a party, however it was his duty to follow his brother and sisters to the event.

The teen from Switzerland rose from his bed early this particular morning. Walking around only clad in his underwear Noel made his way to his window. He could feel the morning air and tell that it was going to be a slightly cooler day. Crossing his arms he watched the morning sigh letting out a soft sigh as rubbed his upper arm. "Annan dag. .." he let out ruffling his hair. His swedish accent all the while grumbling. Of coarse he went about his morning routine which consisted of showering and redressing for the day.

When he was finished Noel made his way down the stairs and into the kitchen of his fraternity. The teen spent several moments looking thru the cabinets and rumbling thru the refrigerator. Noel was quite the baker, amazing in face but as far as cooking went the teen was horrible at it. He hardly knew when meat was done, or raw. It is a lot harder then one would think.. at least to the white haired teen. Letting out a sigh he shut the refrigerator. “School food it is.. “ he thought to himself, pressing his lips together. He wasn’t so fond to go to the crowded cafeteria but he sure wasn’t going to cool. That would have been worse. “Please don’t let it be crowded.. “ Trying not to think much about it Noel retrieved his phone from his room and headed out towards the cafeteria.

It wasn’t a long walk but with Noel’s slow pace it seemed to take forever. Students raced back and forth most hardly even notching that he was on the path. There was the occasion shove to the shoulder however Noel was used to that be now. Stepping in to the cafeteria the warm air hit Noel like a blow. It was almost uncomfortable. Noel kept his head high and shoulders back, his hands pressing the wrinkles out of his shirt as h continued his way towards the food. There were many options however for Noel’s lunch of the day pasta was the only way to go. After collecting and paying for his lunch and beverage Noel found a seat towards a corner far away from where it was starting to get crowded. Pulling out his phone he looked thru the device, decided to send a message out to one of his House Brothers.

                                                              To: Yun Min
                                                              Frm: Noel Lund
Msg: Hello. I was wondering what you were doing? I heard about the party and do not have a costume. So, I was thinking about taking the bus into town to look for outfits. I am eating lunch in the cafeteria.

Indent Ugh. The morning had been agonizing. Or perhaps he was being just a touch melodramatic. English Lit was never too bad - he'd always had a soft spot for the classics in particular, as well as medieval epics and poetry - but everything had gone quite downhill from there. Theology was a crock of bull, of course, but he needed some optional courses to get some more credits, and he'd thought it would be easy. It wasn't even easy to stay awake, much less to pay attention. The professor had a slow, drawling sort of voice that made it quite impossible, in the vampire's opinion, to actually be interested in what he was saying. His last class of the morning had been Philosophy, which was actually required for his degree, but it was just as hard to find interesting. He couldn't care less about that sort of thing.

Indent Now, however, he had a two hour break between his classes. One that he intended to take full advantage of. Tyler left the building he'd had his last class in and headed to the cafeteria building, hands stuffed into the pockets of his jeans. It wasn't such a bad day, given that it was late October. Though it was supposed to get quite cold over the weekend, if one believed the weather station on TV - and that meant he was likely to spend the next couple of days curled up in bed. If his 'brothers' didn't get too loud, at least. That was the trouble with living in a fraternity house; there was always something going on. Such as their upcoming Halloween party. His lips quirked into a vaguely amused little smile. Perhaps some might think that a bunch of blood-sucking dead guys wouldn't be the best choices to throw a party of any sort, but he was certain they'd do a great job. They couldn't eat, but they could order food with the best of them if none of them wanted to try their hand at cooking. And any idiot could go buy the liquor with a proper ID. He pushed open the cafeteria doors. The smell of freshly cooked food hit him like a brick wall, effectively distracting him from the thoughts of the upcoming soiree. Pizza, pasta, soup... So much food, and none of it that he could eat.

Indent The joys of being one of the undead.

Indent Ty headed over to one of the smaller stalls of to the side of the bustling building, where he received a couple of bags of blood. Pigs blood, sure, but it was fresher than the stuff they had in the fridge back at the frat house, and it wasn't as cold as that either. God, he missed fresh blood. Human blood, spiced with adrenaline, anxiety, fear... The thoughts were quickly pushed aside. That was something he'd had to compromise on in order to get into Arkwright. A good school, by all means, one that provided him with the safe haven he'd been looking for. But there were times when he still missed parts of his old life. Tyler grabbed himself a straw and wove through the crowds to try and find a place to sit, and up ahead, all alone in the corner, he found an table with several seats, all of which were empty. For a moment. About ten seconds later a little white-blonde head moved to into his line of vision and took a seat. Tyler paused for a moment before shrugging and heading over there anyways.

Indent He and Noel Lund were, at the best, semi-friendly acquaintances. They'd met back in September during the game of Ultimate Frisbee. Specifically, when he'd been about to score a major goal for House Nyx and Noel had iced the ground under his feet, causing him to slip, fall on his a**, and ultimately look like an idiot. It had been mortifying, and his most of his frat brothers hadn't exactly been happy about it. So House Selene had won the game, and after it was all over, the kid had come rushing over to apologize. Ty had brushed it off; after all, powers were allowed, so of course the demigods could throw out some moves he wouldn't expect. The incident had sparked a rather unexpected burgeoning friendship - even now, a month later, when Noel had become comfortable enough with him to start teasing him about it. Keeping an eye out for any of his other friends, just in case, he moved to Noel's table and paused by one of the empty chairs.

Indent " Afternoon, Snow White, " he said cheerfully, his London accent still strong after nearly a decade away from home. " Mind if I join you? " Some might not bother to ask, but, what could he say? His mother had raised him properly. It'd be understandable if the kid said no though - non-vampires tended to be grossed out by the whole 'drinking out of a blood bag' bit. Just to try and gauge the demigod's reaction he jabbed his straw into one of the bags and took a long drink, staring at Noel all the while. The guy was cute, with the big blue eyes and the high cheekbones and all. But there were plenty of cute people on campus, and Tyler hadn't been in any kind of committed relationship in decades. It was fun to flirt, but he wasn't sure he could go further than that.

The sun pierced through the small cracks between the drapes of Emmanuel's bedroom. His brows furrowed and his face scrunched up together as if he smelt something absolutely putrid.. but no, he just really didn't enjoy being woken up by the blinding sun. His sleepy eyes stared up at the wood paneled ceiling as he contemplated if he truly wanted to get up. Did he want to? No. Did he have to? Yes. There were a few things on his plate today. He had to attend two classes and proceed on to waste the majority of his day doing some form of physical activity. His little fits haven't gotten the best of him lately at all. Manny was slightly pleased with the fact that House Selene had actually won an event. Emmanuel knew that no one in the house actually tried to bother winning the strange events though-- At least personally he knew that he never bothered trying. Competitions never peaked his interest, which most find interesting because of all the sports he does. But, he also felt that if House Selene bothered trying to win, just a little bit, they would more than lightly accomplish something as opposed to House Zeus constantly winning. Emmanuel's face scrunched up again but it wasn't because of the sun, it was because of those demi-gods thinking that they're better than everyone else here just because one of their parents was a god.

He never liked people who thought too highly of themselves. With the unwanted thought in mind, Emmanuel dragged himself out of bed and slowly crept toward the bathroom. The cool floor and subtle wisps of wing that quietly whistled meant that it'd be a little cool today, which he didn't mind at all. Once he looked at himself in the bathroom mirror, Emmanuel gently ran his hand over the scruff that had grown on his cheeks and jawline. He never really liked facial hair. So, he went through the routine of brushing his teeth, shaving his face, and jumping in the shower. He got dressed and fixed his hair. Well, he never really fixed his hair he kind of just runs his fingers through and lets his hair do it's own thing. His stomach rumbled and he suddenly felt as if he had been malnourished his whole life. Yet again, that's not true. He was just constantly hungry. So, he quickly made his way down into the kitchen of the house.

Emmanuel learned everything he knew about cooking from his mother. His mother wasn't Romanian like his father. She was from Brazil, his father had met her whilst traveling. His mother made sure he was never left even remotely hungry and he greatly missed her cooking. Fortunately, he caught on quickly and used his skills to make delicious food for himself here at A.U. He never just cooked for himself though, he tried to learn to be selfless and make just a bit more for whomever stumbled upon the extra portion. As he proceeded on to make a filling breakfast, he wondered where everyone one in the house had vanished off to. He wasn't one to remember everyone's daily schedule so there was absolutely no telling where they could be. Soon enough, the house had been filled with the aroma of bacon and freshly made pancakes-- and some more bacon. He had even made two egg white omelets packed with cheese and some more bacon. Once he had finished preparing the meal and cleaning up his mess, his plate had one omelet, five pancakes and a huge stack of bacon. But really, who doesn't love bacon? His mouth watered and he felt like he needed to just shove the whole plate down his throat. He brought his plate to island in the middle of the kitchen and grabbed a seat. It seemed as if it took him less than five minutes to devour the whole thing. With a look at his wrist watch, he realized he was going to be late for his meeting. He scrambled quickly back into the bathroom and brushed his teeth once more and made sure there was nothing on his face or in his teeth.

Grabbing his backpack, the rugged teen ran out of the house. His quick paced walk picked up to a jog then escalated to a run and suddenly turned into a sprint. His speed was something he had been working on a lot. He went through hours of stamina building with his family at home so he ran pretty fast for a tall guy. His cheeks filled with air and released the air quickly as he was huffing and puffing down the trail that led to the building. It seemed really dead at the university which wasn't usual, then again it was a Friday morning at a time in which most were still in bed. He took this class/meeting so early because he didn't want people to know the severity of his temper. The meeting was between himself and a counselor on campus. The meetings didn't do much for him anymore, but it was nice to be honest with someone. His fingers met with the door handle and he swung the door open. With a subtle shake of his head, the hairs fell back into place perfectly. He made his way down the eerily quiet hallway and made sure that no one saw him knocking on the door that had "Counselor" written beside it. After given the word of approval, he slipped inside and smiled at the petite woman who always greeted him. The two talked for a bit, but the meeting was short for it was Friday and they always cut the conversation short on Fridays. She thankfully reminded the forgetful teen that there was that Halloween party coming up. He had almost forgotten. He had no idea as to what costume he was going to dress up as. Nor was he sure how his house would do at the pumpkin carving contest. He was a decent artist on paper but not too positive about how he'd do on a pumpkin.

            ----tiny time skip----

As he cautiously left the counselor, Emmanuel made his way down the hall. He had his music composition class to worry about now. Manny loved music greatly, but never had the nerve to share his passion with anyone. He stared out of the hallway windows and watched the tree's leaves gently sway in the wind. He wasn't looking at where he was going at all. He had lost himself in a train of thought of how he would put on the hard front to everyone today. Would today be filled with sarcastic comments and a seemingly permanent judging face, or would today just be filled with him keeping his distance but still fulfilling the stereotypical definition of a jock. He didn't like acting like a jerk to people when his 'friends' were around, but it seemed like it would only be normal for one of House Selene. Alas, he needed to figure it out quickly because it was lunch time and that meant people were up and about which lead to him interacting with people. Reaching into his pocket, he grabbed his earphones and put them in and cranked up his music as he still stared out of the windows of the school. His stomach grumbled at the thought of lunch. Manny stared down at his feet and tried to count

Noel had just placed a fork full of pasta in his mouth. The utensil was still stuck between Noel’s lips as he heard a familiar voice calling his attention. The teen’s must have looked a bit odd staring up at the other fork in mouth, wide eyed. “Snow white?” Noel quickly tugged the form from his lips placing it on his plate. He took a few minuets chewing as fast as he could. “Oh, this is embarrassing.. “ Noel, swelled as the other asked to join him.. most the food going down whole. Quickly the demigod cleaned his lips with his napkin. He was going to respond however as he looked up he caught Tyler.. the vampire, sticking a straw into one of the bags. “I wonder how that taste.. “ His eyes watched the other pondering his thoughts for a moment. It took him a minuet to realize that he wasn’t exactly speaking just staring. “åh gud..” The swedish teen exclaimed, sounding a bit frantic. “Of coarse.. sorry.. I - I was.” He probably should have stopped there but the words fell from his mouth like vomit. “I was wondering if that actually tasted good.. do you have different flavors or.. ? “ He stopped abruptly looking down at his plate. “I apologize that was probably inappropriate.. “ His eyes flickered back up just about the time his thick Swedish accent faded away.

Noel paused from the conversation beaming a bit more quiet and focussed on his own meal. Forks, ah.. the wonders they could do with pasta. I mean really.. try eating pasta with a spoon. Uhm. NO. The teen twirled a bite on his fork only to slip it in his mouth. He chewed, this time taking “… Snow White?” Noel questioned raising his eyebrow, tilting his head just barely to the right. At least he didn’t go the Elsa route. Noel did get Elsa a lot. “I’m pretty sure she had pitch black hair.. “ Noel was trying supper hard not to smile as he looked back up at the blood drinking creature. Vampires were extremely different from demigods. Noel had learned so far that they drank blood and hated the sun light. Noel had also heard rumors that the Vampire’s were all man-whores, which unfortunately meant the vampire in front of him was probably up to more promiscuous acts. Noel’s lips shifted to the side of his face as he let out a small huff.

What did he care if Tyler was a man-whore or not? Noel took another bit of food. The cafeteria food was actually good, well at least the ten thought so. “Oh. Remember last month.. when you fell on your face? Your expression on your face.. åh gud., someone should have taken a picture. ” Noel’s eyes were locked down on his plate, his lips desperately trying not to curve into a grin. After he felt as if he was in complete control over his facial expression the teen looked up, his green eyes looking Tyler over. “Don’t worry I’m sure Pumpkin Carving will be easier for your house.. I’m almost one-hundred percent sure that there is no walking, running or even jumping.. “ All right, he couldn’t hold it anymore. A very odd soft giggle escaped the demi-gods mouth and continued for a minuet or so in a very awkward manner. Pulling himself back to composure he forcefully pressed his lips together in another attempts to not smile. “Sorry.. “

Making situations a bit awkward was Noel’s apparent forte. So the teen just went back to eating. It was a while before he spoke up again. His cheeks were still a faint pink, from embarrassment. Over the last few bites of food Noel had spent the time reassessing everything he had said - his conclusion was that he probably seemed like a total weird-o. Maybe being invisible was better… if only that was his ability. “Your house is hosting the halloween party, right? … “ He asked taking a sip of his water. “I have no clue what my costume should be. I was also thinking about going to the Halloween Store in town today… maybe they have something there.. I really don’t know.” Noel shrugged running his hand thru his hair. Though the good thought about not having a costume meant one didn’t have to go to the party. Parties equaled big crowds … which always made Noel uncomfortable. That IS how he could get out of going… Noel cleared his throat very quietly taking another sip of water. “What are you going as.. “

Cʟᴀʀɪᴇ Nᴇssᴀ Hᴀᴡᴛʜᴏʀɴ

The morning hadn’t been horrible – it could be worse, the brunette young woman considered – thus far the reading that she had done that morning due to getting up early, or well…earlier. She still wasn’t sure about her fellow house mates sleep cycles. Or maybe it was because her cat had pounced her at unnatural hour and demanded that he be fed. After getting him situated she had sat down and began shuffling the cards in her deck before doing a personal reading. This was something that the young Hawthorn barely allowed herself to delve into. Normally it was readings for others, not for herself, never for herself. Perhaps, she considered later after Smokey had situated himself onto her lap, absentmindedly scratching at an ear, that it was just nerves. Honestly, the last time she had done a reading was a few months after the incident when she had vehemently denied wanting to step foot outside. Shaking hair from eyes, recalling how her brother had worried for her.

She had gotten dressed after, running through everything that needed to be done for the day. There were a few spells she wanted to get around to mastering, the few in particular that were giving her a hard time, but she considered as she pulled her shirt over her head; it made since. Learning was something that came easily to all Hawthorns’, mastery of whatever that something was, however, was another story. Mastery involved a combination of intense concentration and repetition; which in turn caused the stubborn will not to get up. Carefully applying a new salve onto her arm while recalling a particular backlash from a few days prior. “Get it together, Clari,” mumbling to herself while Smokey mewed at her. A sigh escaped her lips as she gave her cat a reassuring head rub before plopping down on her bed to put her shoes on as she mulled that over, it made sense, of course and she wasn’t one to brag about what she could do or flaunt. That was one thing that she didn’t like – people flaunting what they could do or thinking that they were better than someone else. Just the mere thought caused her nose to scrunch up.

After being rather satisfied with the reading she had truly begun her day – heading out to start classes. Making sure to conceal her familiar beforehand and shoo him back to her own room without much fuss. Normally the routine was akin to some bad comedy routine, but this morning Smokey behind, Clarie figured it was his way of telling her that he wouldn’t mess with her until she stopped beating herself up from the constant practice to mastery whatever it was she was working on. Letting out a rather indelicate snort as she headed towards class. Her morning classes, for the most part, had gone rather well. Then again, she had two Literature courses – one that was required and just an extra one because of the time that she got up in the mornings. Once class was over she had gathered up her things and resolved to find some place quiet to just sit down. Besides, there was a spare hour and she wasn’t going to waste it, maybe she’d snag a snack on the way. At the time, it seemed like a good idea; shaking her shoulder to situate her bag while adjusting grip on the books encased in her arms.

Unfortunately, while walking down the semi – deserted hallway, what with her attention focused on keeping her things together and not what was in front of her; she had bumped into someone. A squeak of shock left her lips as she stumbled back two steps, Clarie’s head snapped up to see who she had collided with. Only for her eyes to be met with someone from House Selene. For a few seconds she just stared, almond eyes focused on the guy with her mind working overtime to recall who he was. His name was forgotten seconds later when the hairs on the back of her neck stood up as her mind chided her that this was someone from House Selene. Words that were not befit for a young lady began to spew from her pale petal lips in Latin. Stupid reading, stupid deck, stupid everything. There was a mention of something happening today. Biting back a snarl while swearing that she would not touch those cards unless someone forced her to (which would be rather unlikely). Yes, about as unlikely as running into someone, nose lightly scrunching up as she sniped at her conscious to shut up. “Is the ground so horribly interesting that you have to look at it instead of where you’re going?” Clarie asked, although it sounded more like a hiss. Moments later she regretted it. With her luck he’d probably think she was the true definition of a witch with a capital B. With that thought in mind she wondered if anything else could go wrong before biting her lip, no, she couldn’t think that. With as much force as she could muster she combated the negatives with some positives. Now would not be the time to tempt fate. Mouth still clamped shut she stared at him, weighing her options – take off, apologize or wait. Apparently her feet made the decision for her because she stood planted firmly to the ground.

The subtle shadow of a figure had grown close to his feet his eyes were watching. With a light thump, Emmanuel felt something collide against him. He hadn't moved at all but the significantly smaller student had stumbled back a few steps. Manny's phone had knocked out of his hand and he knelt down to retrieve it. His mouth immediately opened to let out an apology for his mistake as he was still kneeling down to adjust his headphones, but as her words cut off his, Manny clenched his jaw tightly. Picking himself back up from kneeling, he towered over the strange girl. Her face seemed somewhat familiar, but that didn't matter right now. His brown eyes glared into hers as he felt a storm of rude comments building up."Well, if you were paying attention maybe you would've moved out of the way and this problem wouldn't have happened." His accent lingered lightly in his speech. Manny pursed his lips into a fine line and continued to keep his jaw clenched when he had realized that it was one of those witches.

He stepped closer and let his massive size speak for itself. The anger in his face was clear, and his intentions of intimidating her were starting to show. Suddenly, a flicker of a thought of his mother had gone off in his head. 'You don't treat a lady like that, no matter who it is." Relaxing a bit, the teen sighed and closed his eyes for a second. He turned his head a little and looked over the top of her head but his attention quickly returned to her. His face cleared of the anger that had filled it and his words were hushed as if he were being forced to speak.
"I apologize, I shouldn't have spoken to you in that way nor should I have tried to blame you." Manny ran his fingers through his hair and awaited a response. He wouldn't be surprised if the witch was confused by his apologies. What werewolf apologizes to a witch? Emmanuel tried to channel the politeness he had learned from his parents.

Clearing his throat and crossing his arms, Emmanuel took a step back to give her some space. It was clear that he felt uncomfortable being nice to someone. He seemed as if he couldn't stand still. He would shift his weight from one leg to the other. His face had filled with regret for his unnecessary lash out on the girl, he didn't even know her name
"My name is Emmanuel Cortez, He stuck his hand out for a handshake."I understand we are from different houses but, I don't believe this should be the reason we dislike one another on a personal level." Manny scratched his cheek and awaited for her to introduce herself.

What was he supposed to do? How does one make up for being rude? Was he even supposed to be apologizing? Emmanuel looked at his watch and saw the seconds ticking by. The somewhat empty halls were about to be the death of him. His stomach rumbled loudly as if there were a thunder storm inside. His face scrunched and smushed up as he placed his hand on his lower stomach. It was way past time for him to eat.. again. His foot tapped as he felt like the girl was still cautious of him.
"I'm hungry okay, I'm very very hungry and I'd like to eat. I can make it up to you with a meal or something I don't know." Emmanuel ran his hand over his face impatiently and tried to force a smile.

Her grip had tightened on her books in some vain attempt to keep from her nerves from showing; it was bad enough that her hands were shaking. Clarie’s teeth clenched her lower lip, ignoring how the metallic taste filled her mouth. Well, they were both being unreasonable – she could see that now, he hadn’t been paying much attention because of his phone (was he listening to music?) and she had been attempting to miss getting trampled over in the halls. A shaky breath exhaled from her mouth as she flinched back. So she was being rude, not anything new, but obviously he was someone that she didn’t know that well or he wouldn’t have been reacted that way. The retort that was on her lips had died instantly. Clarie couldn’t help but feel that she had just screwed herself a good ten times over. Whoever it was that said karma came back to bite someone, it was true, completely and absolutely one hundred percent true. Her mind didn’t have time to process what she couldn’t done to deserve this because he was suddenly in her personal space.

He was in her personal space and hot damn he was tall. That was the only thing her mind could process as he towered over her, the massive height differences; that and how he apparently had no qualms getting into someone else’s personal space. Though, to be fair, she kinda did start it. Heart thundering as she glanced right back up at him with almond eyes. Silently cursing at him for being taller than her. Were all werewolves this tall or was she just insanely short? She became aware of how her hands began to ache, from clenching her books so tightly to keep from shaking or showing how frightened she was. Seriously, that was the last thing she needed. Panic arose at the mere thought of how much fear someone else could feel or even sense; another shiver rippled down her spine. For a split second Clarie believed he was either going to keep intimidating her (which he was doing a mighty fine job at plus she really wasn’t sure if he’d hit her or not and quite frankly, didn’t want to stick around to find out), but a part of her silently gave him praise for standing up to her. Especially considering that everyone from House Selene freaked her out…not that he needed to know that, but still. “I…” Her voice faltered when he apologized which only caused her to blink at him as though he’d lost his mind. Had he? She wasn’t going to ask, glancing down at feet suddenly thankful that she hadn’t stumbled back from shock. “Ah,” biting the inside of her cheek she spoke quickly, “No, by all means, you had every right to. My fault, not yours. Can’t always keep my mouth shut when I need to.” Apologizing, to a werewolf, what was going on?

It didn’t take much for her to realize that he was uncomfortable with the whole situation, tucking a loose strand of hair behind her ear; getting confirmation that he was from House Selene. As difficult as it was, she kept from groaning at her luck or even slumping over. Why couldn’t it have been anyone else? Maybe someone from House Aphrodite? Nope, no, running into one person is enough for today, I think, she silently quipped. Tempting fate was enough for today, heck, enough for a full month. She certainly did not want to test it anymore. Snipping at herself had almost caused her to miss his introduction; without meaning to, her grip loosened on the books as she pointed a finger at him almost as if to say, ‘you!’, “AH!” A light blush crawled up her cheeks at the small squeal, but she ignored it. That’s who he was! Now that her mind could put a face with the name did she finally recognize him. Once again her nose had wrinkled, of all the times to forget someone. Half hoping he would not take offense to her odd little quirk. “Oh,” almond eyes staring at him as she shuffled a little nervously. “Different houses indeed, I’m...Clarie, Clarie Hawthorn. Sorry about earlier and that.” Waving one hand dismissively, if he could forget about her little squeal of shock then she’d be fine.

“Well…” restraining herself from making a comment as she glanced over her shoulder. While she didn’t particularly want to be around anyone at the moment, it was the least she could do for being snippy. “Understandable, I mean…” her mouth clamped shut. Clarie had already (just barely) managed to get herself out of hot water, she didn’t want to test it by commenting on how grumpy someone could be when they were hungry. Truth be told, she didn’t want to attempt at any more button pushing to see what made Emmanuel tick. That was something she would rather not do. Besides, that was enough button mashing for one day. “Sorry, ignore that, look since it’s basically my fault that we ran into each other, I’ll buy you lunch? I was gonna get a snack anyways, so,” giving a half hearted shrug as she pivoted on her heel. “Are we going, or...?” head tilted as if she were mimicking a curious baby bird, deciding what she would say if someone asked what she was doing in the company of not just another student, but someone from another house. While it wasn’t uncommon for her to be seen with other members, all things considered it was normal for her to get requests for help with research or even to get a salve or some herbs. It was, however, incredibly rare to see her willingly speaking with someone who clearly had a werewolf linage.

Emmanuel studied the girl's hands and their evidently tight death grip on her books. He knew that he wanted to intimidate her but he didn't know how someone could be so frightened. Did someone else know about his temper problems? That would be an impossible thing due to the fact he has done a good job at keeping himself together throughout his stay at in the university. The apology she had returned to him made the boy's brows lift a little in slight shock. It was crazy enough for him to apologize, but now her? Manny now felt like he could actually look at her in the face as opposed to avoiding all sorts of eye contact. He realized that she was either consumed by an intimidated facial expression or just looked as uncomfortable as he did. 'Maybe if she smiled or something..' His analysis of her face had been abruptly interrupted when the "Ah!" escaped her mouth. Her newly blush stained cheeks caught him completely off-guard. The small squeal made Manny look around then down at her finger somewhat startled, as he was trying to find where she had been pointing. She was clearly pointing at him and he then felt a little dumb for trying to pinpoint the exact location she was pointing at. Was it that shocking that he was from house Selene or did he have some sort of reputation he didn't know about? His eyes somewhat squinted when Clarie had introduced herself. 'I want to believe Hawthorn is an important name but I can't quite put my finger on it.." He had only ever seen the girl at some events, and he was terrible names as it was.

A small smirk had plastered itself on his face due to the simple fact that it seemed as if Clarie was somewhat embarrassed of the squeal she had let out before.
"Hm, I'm not too sure I can forget such a reaction.." Emmanuel wasn't quite used to speaking to many people here, nonetheless girls. He had always avoided them for some strange reason he didn't even know. Her offer to buy him lunch was what really threw him off course. Manny raised a single brow and tilted his head to the side. With a soft chuckle and he shook his head."I honestly think you'll regret making such an offer." It was too late though, Clarie already seemed to have been ready to go. He wasn't too sure where to stand. The two were already in the middle of the hallway and it seemed like she was prepared to stand in the middle as they walked. The halls seemed to fill up a little more so there was no doubt someone would see the two together. At first, Emmanuel merely walked behind her. He could still see well over her as they walked. One of his steps were a few of her's. It was clear that people here didn't have a clue of how to walk in halls. People managed to bump into one another even when there weren't that many people.

Emmanuel had kept his eyes on a male in the distance of the hall who seemed to be walking right in the path the two were taking as well. This stranger seemed as if they had no intentions of moving out of Clarie's path. With a small sigh and a low growl of annoyance in his throat, he knew this unknown person would just collide with Clarie's shoulder and not have the nerve to apologize. He just had that face, you know? Manny swiftly grabbed onto her shoulders, somewhat picked her up and moved from where she had stood. The two were now side by side but Emmanuel took the shoulder collision that Clarie and the stranger would have took part in. Truth be told, Manny pushed a little bit with his shoulder throwing the other guy off course a bit. He scoffed and looked back at him with a slight face of disapproval. With a small rant in Romanian leaving his lips, he turned to look at Clarie.
"That fool was going to bump into you and he didn't even try to move out of the way," Easing the two more into their side of the hall, Emmanuel sighed."I'm sorry for putting my hands on you, I just didn't think you would want to run into anyone else.. It's just that ladies should not walk in the middle of the hall for that reason entirely."
That reason being that there are fools everywhere and clearly some don't know how to walk.

Trying to change the subject, Emmanuel glanced at the young witch.
"By the way, Miss.Clarie,"He said with a smooth change in his tone and attitude."You do not have to buy me lunch, I don't know where this acquaintanceship will lead to.. but you'll learn quickly that my appetite isn't easily satisfied." It was all true though. Emmanuel was tall and bulked up through his years of excessive physical activity, so an undying hunger was the price he had to pay." If you merely want a snack, I'll pay for it. Don't hesitate to ask for more." He felt himself being the polite young man his mother had raised him to be. Although he was being polite, he didn't know what reaction this newly found student would have to it.

The two approached the doors of the cafeteria. Instinctively, Emmanuel walked up ahead a little in order to get to the door first. Swinging one open, he gestured for Clarie to go in before him. He dipped his head in a somewhat bowing manner toward her as she walked by. Manny turned his head before following behind to see if anyone was noticing them. Letting the door shut behind him, Manny looked around to see the slowly filling up cafeteria. His eyes met Clarie's,
"Is there anything in particular you'd like? Or did you want something that isn't here?" Emmanuel gave a soft smile. He didn't know what her eating habits were like. Did she even like cafeteria food? Did she like going off campus? Was she a home-cooked meal kind of person? He always managed to over think things that shouldn't be over thought.

                                      • "Hey, baby...come back to bed. It's still early."

Polly pulled one of her wool stockings up her thigh, looking back at the disheveled male
reaching out to her from under the covers. "It's twelve," she retorted, pulling the other stocking
up to match. She heard a light groan as he rolled back over, to which she rolled her eyes and
smiled. Men were such lazy creatures, weren't they? She stood up from the bed, but
immediately doing so, the male reached back out and grabbed the back of her sweater-dress,
pulling her back into bed without a second thought. Polly squealed as she fell back across the
chest of the male, giggling as an arm wrapped around her shoulders.

"You guys woke me up, not fair!" Out from the covers popped a long mop of dark brown hair,
matted and knotted, belonging to the female. Polly tried to recover their names in an instant:
Marie of House Hecate and Simon of House Selene. She smiled and rolled over, giving Marie a
                                        deep kiss as an apology.

Polly truly was an advocate of the joining of the houses.

"I missed my early morning classes thanks to you lot," Polly grumbled, unhooking herself and
standing back up to face the two lazy bums still in bed. How did they survive not knowing when
they would arise ever day? Such odd people. "I have to jet. If I miss lunch I won't get through the
day. I already missed breakfast, thank you very much."
With Polly's tone, it was hard to tell
whether she was joking or actually upset that her routine had been interrupted; the two seemed
to take it with a grain of salt, however, and just shrugged off her words. They were quite used to
her, as she had a romp (or a few) with the pair every Thursday night for the past four weeks; yet,
just like every other Friday morning, once she left they didn't even think twice about her. That
was Polly's magic: every Thursday she manipulated the pair into bed with her, and every Friday
morning left without a trace. It was simple, easy, and clean. And all within Polly's control.

She pulled her own matted blonde hair up into a ponytail, messily but still attractively by her
standards. She didn't care much about the "walk of shame" or looking like she'd just crawled
out of bed with a stranger because, as a student of House Aphrodite, it was expected of her.
The other girls could call her a slut all they wanted; in the end, all it took was a little intoxication
and manipulation and they would be sucking on her—

"How about I call you later and we can continue when classes end, hm?" Simon chanted with a
smirk. He wouldn't call her. He would never call her. Not while she was hazy memory of the
                                        night before and nothing more.

Polly grabbed her purse and smiled his way. "Of course, baby." And with that, she walked out of
the room, and she became a stranger to them both.

The calm demeanor that Polly had within the room disappeared as she stepped out. She threw
open her purse and grabbed her day planner, flipping through the pages fast enough to set them
on fire from the friction. When she found the correct date, she eyed her schedule, terrified that
she had missed something important from sleeping in. A test, exam, a due date...a date?!

Now she really wanted to smack her books to her face. What was that? Was he teasing her about the reaction she just displayed? It took just about as much effort not to scuttle backwards to puff her cheeks in annoyance. It was strange a strange situation, first they had nearly been at each other’s throats and then decided it best to apologize. Truth be told, her parents upbringing was half the reason that the words had slipped from her lips. However, unlike the ones that she rehearsed and had to put on a straight face to say the words, this time it had come flawlessly. Perhaps because she felt that she was in the wrong. Or frightened of how her parents would react to their only daughter being less than polite, even if she was the one who started the whole mess. Often times it was the other way around. Her pinching her lips together to gain a shard of confidence to apologize, but it had flowed flawlessly, as if it were nothing. “Well, we’ll see, won’t we?” She tossed over her shoulder; gaze falling on him, despite the strange situation she was half afraid he wouldn’t take her up on her offer but felt an equally peculiar wave of relief when he had fallen into step behind her. Once more facing forward a tiny scowl on her face, her small steps took at least only one or two strides from him to keep up. For the first time in what felt like forever, she actually cursed her height.

By the time that they had finally decided to come to the agreement that they would head towards the cafeteria did the halls begin to fill up little by little then. Which caused her some discomfort, Clarie had no problems with crowds, she always had to weave around and almost scuttle to get to her next destination were classes were concerned, but now she worried that she had cut off most of Emmanuel’s time to get something to eat. That alone caused her discomfort which only just caused her to sulk a bit all because she had decided to pick a small argument. Could you be anymore childish, Clari? So lost in her thoughts that she didn’t notice how far out in the hallway she was nor that someone was coming from the other direction and wouldn’t have stepped out of the way. What did catch her attention, though, had to be how she had been lightly picked up and moved over, the action alone had caused Clarie a moment of shock while shaking her head to clear thoughts away. “Hey…” Her voice cut off when the realization dawned that she would’ve collided with someone and for some reason Emmanuel had moved her over to his side so she wouldn’t take the brunt of the person possibly knocking her over. Before getting the chance to question why he had done such a thing, receiving an answer a few seconds later. “I see. Well, suppose that’s what I get for not paying attention,” offering a sheepish smile as she gave a half hearted shrug. “It’s alright. Thanks, by the way, I mean if you hadn’t moved me over I would’ve toppled over like a domino,” her voice took on a light joking tone. The fact that he had decided to move her out of the other person’s path – not that he had to – made Clarie feel a little grateful. Maybe snapping at him earlier hadn’t exactly been such a bad thing after all. Actually, now that she thought about it, perhaps she was being a little biased towards those in his House. Then again, for the time being, Emmanuel was the only one from House Selene that she knew…sort of, so it wasn’t as if she could go making comparisons. Just be a tad more open minded, not everyone is terrible. I hope. She wanted to comment on what he said about ladies not walking in the middle of the hall, but again, figured that she tested enough of her luck for the day; instead allowing it to slide.

Her head snapped toward him when she heard ‘Miss’, chewing on the inside of her cheek. No one had called her so formally for quite some time. Even when the person in question knew about her background. Now that she thought about it, he either didn’t notice or care; about the weight that her family name held. Perhaps not a bad thing, if she were being honest with herself it felt nice, not being judged what she could and couldn’t do because of what her surname dictated. Plus the title that had been handed down to her a few years ago. Which put more pressure and weight upon her shoulders with high expectations that people held for her in their minds. If only they knew, she lamented. “Clarie is fine,” her voice sounded tiny even to her own ears, so she wouldn’t exactly be surprised if he didn’t catch that. “Oh, is that so?” This time she tilted her head at him, a brow arched. Why did she not doubt that?

“Somehow, I don’t doubt that,” the words slipped from her mouth as she glanced at him. Although the curious side of her had been nudged and she wondered if all werewolves had massive appetites and just like before, the brunette decided it best not to ask. It felt like it was one of the few things you didn’t ask someone, especially in the ‘someone you just met’ category. An odd look flittered across her face for a few seconds, all she wanted was a snack something to get her through the classes that were left. For the second time in however many minutes her head did tilt at a curious angle. “If you insist,” a grin lifted at the corner of her lips.

Upon approaching the doors to the cafeteria Clarie paused when he walked ahead and held the door open for her. “Thank you,” inclining her head in a polite manner as she walked in before him. Her almond eyes glanced around at the cafeteria filling up, nails tapping against books, it would be difficult to find a place to sit. Startled from looking for some place to sit, gaze averted back towards Emmanuel. “Oh, hm…something sweet would be nice. To answer that question, I only cook in the evenings, I deal around lunch time…most of the time at least.” She hoped her explanation didn’t sound strange, except for the mere fact that it was true. The only time that Clarie cooked was in the evenings and for special occasions except those were few and far between. Not only that, but she really could use something extremely sweet since her morning classes had been rough...more so than usual.

For some strange reason she had the urge to reassure him, it certainly didn’t escape her notice that he had looked around. They were a peculiar pair, that was for sure then a thought struck her, Were the others from his house not as…welcoming to other house members? Or was she the only exception – due to the circumstances that had caused the two to crash into each other? Or it could be that she was just hyping herself up. If someone did happen to ask then she’d cover it up. While there were no salves or herbs in her bag to help with cuts or the like she did have her deck. If anyone did ask she’d brush it off like nothing and just sweep her cards out. While rare, about so much so as being on semi – agreeable terms with a werewolf, Clarie did offer readings for those who asked and got payments either via favor that could later be cashed in or by getting a coffee certainly wasn’t rare.

Emmanuel still stealthily scanned the cafeteria but Clarie's voice had snapped his attention back toward her. The request of something sweet somewhat made his mouth water. Sweets were something that were used as a reward for him back at home due to his seemingly undying love for them. Thoughts of something somewhat savory had also plagued him. Torn by the two, he made the executive decision to get both. He particularly desired some pasta. His mind got lost in the endless amounts of pasta he could eat. Once again, he snapped his attention back to Clarie. He could sense something somewhat off with Clarie even though they had just met. Had she had a bad start to the weekend? He would try his best to turn that around for her and Manny didn't know why he felt the need to do such a thing."Don't worry, I'll take care of that.. But I wouldn't want you standing around with waiting for me so I'll get my items first and then I promise I'll get your stuff." Manny started making his way through the forming crowd. It was as if he was using his height to his advantage since he was taking quite a few steps at a time to propel himself closer to the line with the pasta as fast as he could.

The chatter in the cafeteria started to build up. Looking back, Manny nearly winced at the fact that it was probably taking a little effort for Clarie to attempt to keep up. He waited for her and pushed his bottom lip out in a pouting manner. Running his fingers through his hair, Emmanuel had finally seen she was close enough. After all, he was basically a giant beacon within the crowd. Finally at the line, he had asked for nearly 3 portions of pasta. He decided that it would be enough.. for now. He had to save room for the little sweets! He had handed off the first transaction of money and quickly made his way toward the little plethora of deserts. You would think that the boy had sprung a leak in his mouth or something. His tongue slid effortlessly across his bottom lip followed by him biting down on it. Clarie was on the back of his mind now but he still knew she wanted sweets. How much did a girl even eat? Emmanuel tried to pinpoint his attention on one item but.. he couldn't.
"I would like to have.." Raising his hand to scratch his chin, he had made his choice."One of everything, please and thank you." The cafeteria employee's jaw dropped. Emmanuel didn't know what the issue was, it was food. It was going to be eaten! If Clarie didn't, he would eat it. He had to place down his tray that held his plate of pasta and drink to fish out more money from his pocket. His family regularly sent him extra money because they had learned their lesson about his excessive appetite.

Weaving their way through the crowd, had spotted an empty table in the middle of the room. He quickly made his way to a seat. He placed the two bags of sweets down. As he finally smushed his legs underneath the uncomfortable table, he had realized he hadn't grabbed Clarie a drink. As the thought entered his mine, Manny tried to get up quickly but ended up shaking the whole table when his knee hit it underneath. A soft groan escaped his lips,
"Ah.. I'll get you a drink." Emmanuel didn't even know if she wanted a drink to begin with. The weather had shifted its way toward fall and the cool breezes kind of made it seem necessary to have a good cup of coffee. Plus, coffee went well with sweets. He had constructed a cup that had a hint of caramel within it and moved on so that he wouldn't be tempted to put something else in it. The whipped cream caught his eye. He always liked decorating his food to make it seem appealing to the eye. It was as if he was an artist as he carefully swirled the whipped cream on top and drizzled caramel syrup on the top. His lips nearly met the lip of the cup but he immediately stopped himself because he had remembered it was for Clarie. Quickly yet cautiously, he made his way back to the table without spilling a drop. He snuck up behind the brunette and set the cup down by her hand. Manny pulled his hand away and felt his hand lightly brush against hers accidentally. It was weird feeling another person's skin. Her skin was somewhat cool compared to his own and was absurdly soft. He retracted his hand at a unworldly speed and quickly made his way to his seat across from her.

He felt a little weird about the hand touching thing. His hands were a bit bulky, it was a thing that came along with the whole 6'3" thing. Emmanuel didn't like touching other people and didn't really know how to feel about others touching him. What if that person didn't want you touching them? His brows knit together in thought, his cheeks had grown hot and gave off a light pink hue. He was hoping Clarie wouldn't catch it. Turning his head down to the giant steaming plate of pasta in front of him, he began twirling his fork in the pile. He tried to eat as pleasantly as he could, but he wanted to put as much pasta in his mouth. His cheeks filled with the food and his eyes averted toward the bags of sweets. The eye contact flickered from the bags to Clarie. Still chewing the portion of pasta in his mouth, he slid the bags toward the witch unaware of the entirety of the contents within it. His cheeks slowly went back to their normal size as he was finished with what he had put in there. Sipping on his drink, Emmanuel began twirling his fork once more. Before he could put the pasta in his mouth, Manny thought to break the silence between the two.
"So.. Clarie, do you have anymore classes today? I have a music composition class then I'm pretty much done for the day." Manny shoveled the pasta into his mouth and then a little more. He could feel a few eyes on the pair. Now, he just disregarded them. Who's business was it that the two were having lunch together? They weren't even friends, they met through an accident. He wouldn't let the minor unwanted attention bother him anymore.

Indent Still sucking down the blood packet, Tyler stared right back at Noel, who was wide-eyed and with a fork stuck in his mouth. He held the eye contact as long as he could - which wasn't a problem, since he didn't need to blink as often as a human did - until Noel looked away to put the fork down and finish chewing. Apparently he'd caught the blonde demigod off-guard. Whoops? " Sorry, didn't mean to startle you. " Except not really. It wasn't like the kid had started choking or anything, right? He licked at his dry lips to moisten them and lowered the blood bag a little once he caught Noel looking at it. Not that he was surprised; he'd figured that the whole blood thing would freak him out. " Thanks, mate. " With a lopsided little smile he dropped into a seat across the table from Noel, folding his arms on the tabletop to at least partially hide the blood bags from view. A moment later he was the one that was stunned into silence and open staring. Was he seriously asking about flavors of blood?

Indent Tyler forcibly held back a grin as he replied. " Oh, yeah. Definitely. Vanilla, chocolate, raspberry.... " He gave a little snort and shook his head. " No, we don't have different flavors. Not like you're thinking. I mean, different blood types are vaguely different, and if you get blood from different animals, they taste a little different too, but.... " He trailed off with a shrug, not wanting to gross the other boy out much more than he was certain he already had. " Wasn't inappropriate to ask, either, so you know. " It wasn't like it bothered him to talk about it. It was just like asking Noel if there were different flavors of the pasta that he was eating. The Swede returned to his lunch, and so Tyler went back to his blood bag, taking a few long draws of the liquid. The silence was a touch awkward. And he wasn't exactly sure how to fix that. After all, it wasn't like he knew Noel very well, so he had no idea what to talk about with him. Thankfully Noel picked up the slack by mentioning the little nickname the vampire had given him a minute ago.

Indent The Brit gave a little laugh, eyes bright with amusement. " C'mon, I thought it was clever. " He leaned back a little in his chair. " Snow powers, white hair? No? " Noel's wry comment on how Snow White had actually had black hair made him give a little snort, grinning widely. " Well, she clearly wasn't named very appropriately, was she? " His companion's face suddenly screwed up into a bit of a scowl as he huffed out a breath; in response Tyler quirked a brow again, smile faltering a little. Had he said something to offend the guy? He looked down to his blood bags and took another long drink, thinking back over what he'd said earlier. Was it the 'Snow White' bit? Maybe Noel was sensitive about his powers or something. Out of nowhere the demigod brought up the incident from a month ago - the one where they'd met. The kid still wasn't meeting his eyes, but it looked like he was fighting off a smile. Tyler took the moment to roll his eyes and give a slightly over-dramatic sigh. " Yeah, yeah, keep on laughing, " he drawled, lips pulling into a little playful smirk. Noel went on to continue teasing House Nyx, and when he apologized, Tyler shook his head. " Nah, you're not sorry at all. " The tone was still teasing, but also a little tense. That settled it. House Nyx had to come out on top in the pumpkin carving contest. He didn't care about some teasing of himself here and there, but he did have a fair bit of house pride.

Indent The next period of silence was filled by the both of them eating - or in Tyler's case, drinking. He spent it by trying to come up with a good idea for a pumpkin carving. Maybe if he came up with something awesome his 'brothers' would agree use it. They couldn't afford to come in dead last again. Having drained his first blood bag he set it to the side and removed the straw, proceeding to jab it in to the second bag and start on that. When Noel spoke again he looked back up to him, blinking a couple of times before taking a final swallow. " That we are. " The mention of costumes had giving a little shrug. Truthfully, he'd been prepared for this for... A while. " Might not be a bad idea. Could give you an idea at least. " When asked what he was going as, he couldn't help an almost boyish smile. " Game character. " He'd ended up going with Assassin's Creed - Ezio, to be exact. He was even planning to give himself a fake scar over his lip. It was geeky, yes, but he was quite pumped for it.

                                                          | Sang Min had woken up incredibly late, had started off his morning tripping over strewn socks and possibly pants from two nights ago, and it was a Friday, which didn't justify his actions in the slightest. It was only after he fell flat on the floor, tangled up in bedsheets and scattered clothing did he stop and realize; wait a second, he didn't have class today. And with that in mind, it became easier for him to distangle himself a lot more calmly.

Min scrubbed a hand through his ridiculous bed-head and fumbled for his reading glasses and his phone because the sound of Noel messaging him had woken him up in the first place.

(And yes, he had set aside a specific message tone and ringtone and email tone for Noel.)

"...party????" He mumbled, still half asleep and wondering what on earth his best friend was talking about.

He sent the message in his appalling text talk which usually consisted of a heavy lack of vowels and lots of unnecessary punctuation and Asian emotes and yawned, flopping back onto the bed, his phone against his forehead and about to go back to sleep when the rest of the message kicked in. "Ah." He quickly followed the message with consecutive seconds and thirds and fourths.

And that's when it hit him what party Noel was talking about. With a lazy whine no one else would hear, he rolled out of bed a second time to find fresh clothing, stripping as he walked and scattering even more clothing on the messy floor, and promised himself he'd clean it up when he got back (he never did) and if anyone other than Noel were to discover how lax his lifestyle actually was, they wouldn't find it hard to believe that the energetic and ever smiling Yun Sang Min was the offspring of someone as laid-back as Apollo, the god of music and healing and knowledge. It had only been a few years since he himself had discovered it; the revelation was surprisingly...not so surprising. The light show that constantly sparkled out of his hands and burned stuff... that was a little more so.

No one would know how different he actually was in reality, the old him that he had kept trapped beneath layers of cheerfulness and energy; not even Noel.

Pulling on a fresh outfit and grabbing his room keys and (obviously) phone, Min skipped out of his room and down the stairs into the open-air lobby, all the while still texting Noel without missing a beat; Noel's inbox would be flooded with messages from Min by the time he was done, and half of them would probably be unopened even when Min reached him.

                                                          To: Queen Elsa! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

Min knew how much Noel hated being around a lot of people, which was why it surprised him that Noel had texted him about the party first; Min had assumed they had been ditching together, but it was also pretty nice to hang out with Noel alongside his other friends in a public setting every now and then.

Min practically dashed the rest of the way to the cafeteria, not wanting his friend to wait for him too long. He was practically bouncing on his toes as he sent yet another text message.

                                                          To: Queen Elsa! °˖✧◝(⁰▿⁰)◜✧˖°

Without bothering to wait for a reply, Min squeezed his way inside and immediately began to scan the sea of heads for familiar white and zeroed in on Noel sitting down and talking to Tyler. "Noeeeeeel~~!" He chirped, making a hundred different pair of eyes turn towards him but the cheerful demigod ignored the looks as he bounced over and threw his arms around Noel in a hug, oddly energetic now even though he had been sluggish a few moments before. The fact that Noel was sitting made it easier for him to do so, because while they were standing, Noel towered above his average Asian height and Min was hardly able to hug him like that. The ones who were used to Min's almost terrifying enthusiasm merely shook their heads and turned back to their lunch; the ones who weren't kept staring at him, a little bewildered.

He rested his chin on the top of Noel's head and smiled blindingly bright at Tyler. "Hi Tyler! How've you been? I haven't seen you around in ages! How is Abel by the way, he keeps ignoring me when I text him, he gets them though right??" He rattled off like a steam-roller, irritatingly chipper for someone who just woke up.

The utensil clanked against his plate, the teen’s eyes were wide as he looked back at the vampire. “Raspberry.. ? “ he said softly his words barely audible. Though the teen’s wide eyes only narrowed as the other confirmed that he was only joking. “Oh, you think your funny.. “ Noel thought to himself holding in a giggle. Noel continued to just shake his head as Tyler explained why he thought the name Snow White fit. Noel’s smile finally appeared as typer instructed him to continue on laughing. Though he did question if he offend the other or not. That was totally not his attention if he did. This was about the time Noel’s phone started to chime. Though after the first notification multiple ones started firing off. It was enough to the point Noel’s cheeks even grew red. The teen had to grab his phone and quickly put it on silent. “Sorry.. I think its my friend.. “ Noel would have responded but he didn’t want to seem rude. .. Anyways what game character?” Yet, again another message fired off from his phone, this time causing it to vibrate across the table. “I’m really sorry. I’m listening.. I just.. If somethings wrong.. “ Hopefully Tyler would understand, either way Noel decided to check his phone.

He should have known by the multiple text messages that it was Min. “I’m sorry.. It was one of my house brothers…” the teen apologized once again. “So what gam-“ Suddenly Noel’s voice was cut off but another voice who happened to be calling his name. It felt like all the eyes in the room were on not only min but Noel, himself. Noel could feel his breath shorten, his heart pounding. Everything was happening so fast and before he knew so Min had his arms around him. Noel blinked slowly as his head began to feel light. Noel stayed quiet as Min placed his chin onto of his head. ” Everyone is looking.. there are people.. so many people.. “ he kept thinking over and over again. The demigods pulse was probably amplified as his breath became heavier. Rather than creating Min back Noel remained silent. Min happily kept talking directing his attention towards Tyler. Noel’s eyes flickered over towards Tyler, wondering how he was taking all the extra attention. Noel could literally feel the eyes of everyone in the cafeteria on his body.

A thick layer of ice flowed along the top to the table from where Noel’s hand rested. Realizing his powers the teen snatched his hand up from the table clasping both his hands together. He immediately looked down taking in a breath. The ice had covered over his plate and even froze the noodles that made up his pasta. “S-sorry… S-ss-orry.. “ Noel let out softly his voice shaking. “I uhm-m.. I think the buss leaves soon.. “ Noel hadn’t noticed how crowded the cafeteria had gotten. He had been focused on Tyler, however with Min’s entrance and the extra attention Noel’s focus had been brought back to the crowd. Noel’s head snapped to the side his eyes focussing on a table who were boasting with laughs. “Are they laughing at me.. ?” “Tyler would you like to go too?” Noel was really starting to loose it the walls felt like they even had eyes. Noel took a moment to look at Tyler offering the other a smile. “I just have to get out of here.. “ Tyler was probably going to think he was crazy but he really just couldn’t stand it anymore.

Noel stood up slowly allowing Min time to let go of the embrace. “It was nice to see you again. Oh, here is my number in case you decided to come along, or want to talk.. I mean.. if you .. Idk.. just here.” Taking his finger the teen used his abilities to write over the ice. As his fingers traced the numbers another layer of ice formed making the numbers 3-D. Noel kept his arms crossed and closed protected against his chest. He did hope Tyler would join them, but he wasn’t sure after all they weren’t exactly best friends or anything. “Min.. ready?” With that Noel made his was out of the cafeteria. He was so close to passing out but walking outside, the cool air hit his face, he felt like he could breath again. He did choke a little, coughing as he regained his breath. The teen then paced a few steps only to stop his eyes staring in the window at Tyler who was still seated at the table. The demigod was caught of guard realizing he was staring at the vampire. “Ugg.. he is so “ Noel shook his head blushing a bit realizing that Min was there as well. “Are you ready?” Noel said with a smile. “How was your morning?” Noel kept the conversation going as the two walked towards the buss stop. The demigods had to wait fifteen minutes for the next buss however that wasn’t so bad. “Do you think other people think I’m weird, or awkward.. ? “ Noel really only asked this in concern to Tyler. “Why am I so awkward.. “

"Do you want ice cream first or after? Oh, after might be better.. what are you going to be for halloween.. ?"
