Dionisio Ruere Nasario

†·.·´¯`·╬H|EAR THE VEIN OF GRIE|F╬·´¯`·.·†

I will kill. I will let live. I will harm and heal. None will escape me. None will escape my sight.
Be crushed.
I welcome those who have grown old and those who have lost.
Devote yourself to me, learn from me, and obey me.
Rest. Do not forget song, do not forget prayer, and do not forget me.
I am light and relieve you of all your burdens.
Do not pretend. Retribution for forgiveness, betrayal for trust, despair for hope, darkness for light, dark death for the living.
Relief is in my hands. I will add oil to your sins and leave a mark.
Eternal life is given through death.
Ask for forgiveness here. I, the incarnation, will swear.
Kyrie Eleison (Lord, have mercy)

"Then leave." Dionisio responded to Jouichirou, sitting on a chair with his bible in hand with absolutely zero signs of how, or more importantly when he'd arrived, simply turning a page without any hint of care like the lack of emotion from his entire being and the monotone in his voice. "It's an order we received, and respect, but the reason we do that is precisely because of the reasons you described. Helios and Maestro are our comrades. Our friends. If anyone is capable of retrieving the other then in the case of those two obliviously love sick idiots they would be the best choice. As illogical as the order is, as the situation is, in cases like this sometimes it is best to simple believe, and trust, in those comrades. Helios will return, with our Leader in tow, of that I have no doubt. It's not just about 'making him happy' perhaps the Kangaroo used the wrong words to phrase it. It's entirely about belief." Turning a page in his book, the young man reached up with a hand to adjust the glasses resting upon his face, extending a finger to push them further up the bridge of his nose, casting a glare over the lenses and concealing his eyes from view.

"In all honesty I would much prefer to ignore those orders-" Because he figured it would be easier to get after Yukina and kill her since his current plan of mapping out the forest and setting up surveillance wasn't getting him anywhere anytime soon. There was a crunch time on this, if Helios got to her first things would get complicated, if Helios got there and then found a corpse which looked like it had been mauled by a Chimera, it would be simple. Whatever was best to keep suspicion off him and maintain his cover but nothing was ever as easy as it should be. If it was he probably wouldn't be here in the first place. "but I trust that Helios will come through, and in the meantime someone, like you said, needs to be here and do what we're supposed to do. Protect the school, watch the students. Better than one person goes after another than the entire team and limiting our manpower further, plus someone needs to train and induct you lot and how could we do that if we all went in, or the majority of us did? Too inefficient. This is better." He turned another page, hidden eyes moving down the words written in his bible but barely taking them in, he'd read it more than enough times to simply read the thing from his memory alone, but appearances, appearances. He was a member of the Church and should, at the very least, act like it. Just like he was a member of the Guardians, and should, at the very least, act like it.

Finally looking up from his book, Dio stared at Jouichiro for ten full seconds, shifted his gaze towards the exit and stared at that for the exact same amount of time, then turned his gaze back to the Guardian-In-Training. "If you cannot agree do as your conscience dictates. Humans are creatures that lie to themselves far too much, best to live true while you still can. If you act upon what you feel is morally right and believe to be the correct decision, why would I stop you?" Because that would be far less interesting to watch for one. Gaze shifting back to the pages of his book, Dionisio continued reading, turning silent like a statue or perhaps trying his best to simply become an addition of human shaped furniture to the gym. Pausing for a second, he blinked, then looked back up, scanned the room and the other applicants, marked his place in his bible, then shut it. He'd forgotten the first thing one should do, the one thing that helped to separate man from beasts. Common courtesy and civilization, how could he have neglected to do something so simple and arrive so abruptly? Rude is what it was, and he much preferred to do as little rudeness as possible.

"I am Dionisio Ruere Nasario. A Guardian. It is a pleasure to meet you both." Properly giving his name to both Jouichiro and Aphrodite. White Justice it seemed, got no such reception. Possibly due to the fact it wasn't human, coming from a human's ability or no.

Introductions! One must always take the time to introduce themselves when possible as it was just good manners, and those were in frighteningly short supply now a days. Sure, he might have to kill people that may, or may not be considered innocent, commit other horrendous acts that normally wound up being hilarious to Xi, but he'd be cursed thrice over if he neglected his manners. Dio may have to kill people but he didn't have to be rude about it, life was enough of a horror in some cases, why make dying the same? "....Is that a ******** rhetorical question? BECAUSE IT'S -FUNNY-! God Fourth. I try, and I try, and I try, yet still you go and ask stupid crap like that. By the way this has to be the most I've ever heard you speak since like.. Like.. Ever really. The ********] That last part was true, he'd spoken a great deal and now wondered why he even bothered speaking in the first place? Justification wasn't his thing, neither was talking if he didn't have to, and in this case, he most certainly didn't have too. Perhaps it would've been better if he'd kept his mouth shut, perhaps not, but what was done was done and he couldn't undo it anymore than he could undo slaughtering his family and bathing his hands in their blood.

His hands had been in worse things by then.

Pausing once again, he looked up and turned his gaze to Dion, nodding towards the other student with his face as blank as stone. "I am Dionisio Ruere Nasario. A Guardian. It is a pleasure to meet you. You are quite on time, the Orientation should begin soon enough." With that he returned to his book again, trotting out the same phrase with the same expression. or lack thereof. and the same tone. Inwardly he resolved to return to speaking as little as possible while contemplating over whatever made him speak like that in the first place. Trust? Friends? That was extremely odd for him to mention. Well he could always have moments of self contemplation later, preferably when there weren't other people around, a knife or gun was in his hand, and there was something nonhuman to slaughter with impunity. Those were the times.. "Y'could kill everyone here. That's an option." "No. It isn't. Remember? ..Of course you don't. Any orders that involve something other than wanton violence you never care about. Remind me why I keep you around?" "....Because you're lost without me. COME ON! We've gone over this before!"

                                        "Since when?"

"Well we just did Mr. Correct The Artificial Intelligence! p***k."

                                        ..It figures.

What a crummy day it's been, though there was nothing much that Jae could do about it, nor was she quite sure what to think about it all. The Guardians seemed to be going through a tough time, but she figured that pent up stress would eventually take its toll. It's a good thing her hobby includes hitting hard things with other hard things. It could be a pretty good stress-reliever, not that she worries much about anything to begin with. "I wonder if I could make anything to lighten to mood... Maybe some kind of festive party-popper Mechie?" She wondered aloud as she tinkered with her mechanical leg. She was thinking about adding a new feature to it. Something like a grappling hook coming from her knee. That sounded like fun.

"Upon analysing your body language and tone of voice, I have deducted that the following individual, Jae Silica, is not feeling well." A somewhat automated-sounding voice came from seemingly nowhere. When Jae looked up, a small panel opened from her desktop monitor and came a small box, which soon unfolded into a spherical robot that flew over. The young mechanic smiled at the robot as it hovered before her. "I'm alright, Mona, but thanks for checking up on me. Has everything been alright in here while I was gone?" Mona, or M.O.N.A., was a sort of surveillance device that Jae installed in her room. Through a network of small computers and sensors placed in her room, M.O.N.A., which stood for Main Operating Network Assistant, collects that data of the room when in a neutral state, and then uses any disturbances to identify any dangers such as fires or intruders. The spherical robot that came from Jae's monitor was like a representative of the system so that Mona would be more of a "who" rather than a what.

Mona also looks out for Jae as a sort of heath inspector, so it was only natural that she picked up on Jae's seemingly-troubled state. "The neural signals that are being collected by the cerebral sensors say otherwise. Suggest treatments are as follows: a bubble bath, a walk in the park, a good night's rest, a glass of warm milk, or Baroque music." Before Jae could reassure Mona that she would do one of the things listed, a clasp in her leg suddenly snapped, leaving several shallow cuts along her left thumb. She hissed in pain and immediately stuck the wounds in her mouth, though it didn't really do much. "An open wound has been detected. First aid is currently unavoidable. It is highly recommended that the injured individual, Jae Silica, sees the school nurse for disinfectant and bandages." Sometimes Mona points out the obvious, but many a times has Jae thanked Mona for pointing out injuries that she didn't know she had. Phantom cuts is what she liked to call them.

As Jae quickly replaced the clasp that sprang loose and closed up her leg, she began to nonchalantly say a few commands. "Operate surveillance mode. Activate recording equipment. Activate personal room alarm system." The lights dimmed until they were completely off and Mona folded up into a small cube before going through the small panel in the monitor. Once the door closed behind her, Jae checked to make sure her room was locked before making her way to the nurse's office.

Upon arriving, she immediately saw that the nurse seemed to be exhausted. I guess today's been a crummy day for everybody. With a sheepish grin, Jae showed the nurse her wound and he gestured for her to take a seat. "I was worried that it'd be something more serious. Thank goodness it's just a flesh wound." He spoke in a relieved tone as he treated Jae's hand. "I wasn't sure what I was expecting, agreeing to work at a high school for students with superpowers, but it certainly wasn't a constant flow of broken bones and stitches. You should all take care of yourself more, or you'll make the entire staff get gray hair from all the worrying." Although he laughed afterwards, the concern in his eyes was genuine. Jae responded with an apologetic look and thanked him once he was done. "I'll try to be more careful form now on. Sorry for troubling you." She apologized with a smile before getting up.

Before she turned to leave, she saw that in the office was one of the teachers; Red Kodoux, if she remembered correctly. "Oh, you're the teacher with the malfunctioning perverted spider robot! Mr. Kodoux, right?" She exclaimed with a look of revelation. Hino had spent a good amount of time telling Jae about what happened during the Ball, which made the mechanic wonder if she was lucky or unlucky that she didn't go. On one hand, she wasn't put at risk of losing her underwear. On the other, she probably could have done something to stop the runaway spider robot. "I heard you got into some trouble for that. Hey, I could probably take a look at it and see what went wrong, if you're okay with that. Unless you already fixed it, but I've been meaning to find you so I could ask if I could take a look at it, anyway." A sheepish laugh followed as she subconsciously rubbed her bandages. "I love seeing the kind of stuff other people can build, and maybe I can learn a thing or two from you! Is it weird for a teacher to be a student's dorm, though?" Last time she checked, this teacher was awfully young, though. He was probably even younger than her. "But anyway, my dorm room is 330. I have a ton of stuff, so it'd be great if you could give me any suggestions on how to improve them, too!" With a grin and a wave to the teacher and nurse, Jae left the nurse's office and began to walk back to her room.

Hiroshi was late arriving to the school, or rather late leaving. He was enjoying his break until a letter came labeled for him. He has sliced the letter open and read the contents raising a eye in confusion. "New school?" he wondered before disregarding the thought and setting the letter on the table beside him and picking up his book. he stared at the pages with his eyes skimming past them before Aoi, his little sister, came up behind him resting her arms on the back of the chair and glanced at the book. "Why are you always staring at blank books?" he asked Hiroshi for the first time. "The best books are the ones you make up. Just because there is a blank page doesn't mean there's no story there it just means one still needs to be written." he answered acting as if it explained everything. Giving up on her brothers words the girl noticed the letter and quietly grabbed it and ran into her room reading the contents before taking the letter to her parents. After reading the letter they decided that they would force their son to go. Hiroshi gave up almost instantly not finding any reason to argue with his parents. After packing he rested the rest of the break.

Stepping out the plane he sighed and began to walk. Going to where the luggage goes for picking up he waited and grabbed his few things and began to walk. After a dozen feet he noticed a man holding up a sign with the name 'Suzaki' on it and headed to him. Stopping a few feet away he stared at the man for a moment. "Are you Jun's friend?
" he asked him referring to his father. "I am and that means your Hiroshi" he said stoically before smiling broadly and ruffled his hair slightly. "You've grown so much!" he exclaimed before grabbing a bag from him. Hiroshi didn't remember the man but he knew that he was there during his childhood his father told him that much. The man began to walk and Hiroshi followed with a expressionless face. Reaching the mans car he popped the trunk and Hiroshi arranged his luggage in it before opening the passenger side door and stepping in as he handed his fathers friend a map showing the location of the school before they drove off.

Arriving with the school in sight the man stopped and smiled at Hiroshi. "It was great seeing you again lets meet up just give me a call" he told him as he pulled out a pen and paper and wrote down his number handing it to the boy. Accepting it he kept a strait face and pulled out all his stuff setting it on the ground as the car drove away. Looking at the building then his stuff he felt lazy and pulled out the blank book from earlier from a large pouch on the inside of his jacket. Also pulling out a pen he flipped to the first blank spot he saw and began writing. 'Pushcart, steel body, rubber wheels, plastic rims.' he wrote. As he finished he held the book outwards as the thing he specified came out. The words began to glow blue. As they did the blue magic was pulled off the page, expanding as they did so. As they formed the pushcart he wanted the blue shattered like glass leaving the steel cart. This power had a few faults such as he had to imagine the object as well as explain it. Also he had to complete the sentence for it to work. Anything stopping him from writing, changing what he's picturing, or getting rid of the sentence would stop or get rid of the item. Putting the book back to its pouch he started loading the cart and started pushing it to the school acting as if nothing happened.

After a bit of walking he stopped and asked what he thought to be a teacher for directions to the office. Getting the information he needed he started off to the office and arrived a little bit later. leaving the cart outside he walked inside the office. "May I ask what room I'm in?" he requested. "My name is Hiroshi Suzaku" he informed the lady at the desk. After messing with some files she pulled out a card and handed it to him. The card had his name dorm number ID and other info as well.

After looking it over he nodded to the lady and returned to the hall and grabbed the cart pulling it to where he last passed up some stairs. Looking up them he noticed the cart couldn't go up and bit his lip slightly. "Well cant always be lazy" he sighed as he pulled out his book. Returning to the page he wrote the cart at he pulled out the pen and crossed out the words leaving 'Pushcart, steel body, rubber wheels, plastic rims.'. As he did so the cart began to dissolve and disappear. Grabbing his stuff at once again he hesitantly began walking up the stairs almost falling a few times. Finally reaching the third floor he walked down the hall looking for his room. "15" he sighed with relief as he eyes settled on his dorm. Setting down what he had in his hand he opened the door and picked it up walking in. Tossing everything on the bed before dropping himself on the bottom of it laying back. "Nice and quiet" he thought to himself before he stood and began to pack his stuff in the dressers thinking about why he was invited or, by the wording of the paper, drafted into this school.

Minutes dragged on before he grabbed a book he had set on the table beside him and stood, exiting his dorm. After a bit of walking he noticed the gym and smiled slightly remembering in middle school he used to lay on the benched reading when he should of been in class. With his stoic expression returning he opened the door and entered. He was instantly hit by sound and thought about leaving but wrote it off figuring there was probably a reason so many students were here anyways. Noticing a pull up bar attached to the back wall he walked over to it and tucked his book in his hood pulling himself up. Once up he sat on the bar leaning his back against the wall. "Well uncomfortable but better then being forced to sit in the middle of the noise" he thought referring to taking a spot on the benches.

He completely ignored everyone as he opened his book and began reading. The noise slowed him down but he wasn't willing to block all the noise worrying he might miss something important. "Dammit quiet down" he thought with a sigh trying to focus on the book he was reading, now debating just putting it away and watching people instead of a futile effort to ignore everyone and enjoy his book.

"Grazie grazie! I feel very welcomed in this school and it is very nice to meet you Suzy. Yes, I can’t wait for many people to come…..I just hope I have the sufficient abilities and the spirit to join this force….”

Suzy smiled and grinned at the long-haired brunette. Her eagerness and desire to join the Guardians reminded her of herself when she first joined the Guardian team her sophomore year. And to this day, it was still the best decision she ever made, she thought. Not only did she gain really good friends like Yukina, Eli, and Akane, but she also learned some teamwork ethics along the way. "Well, we'll see!" she exclaimed. "But I'm sure you do!" Then listening as Aphrodite answered Nanjo's question about being aware of the Guardians' activities, she nodded with satisfaction at her answer. "Now that's what I like to hear! Seems like your spirit is sufficient enough, already!"

                                                                "Couldn't?"

Suzy turned to Nanjo just as he uttered the word. At the same time, she heard a growl erupt from White Justice. Suddenly, the mood in the room changed. Swallowing a lump that formed in her throat, she listened with a bit of hurt as Nanjo hammered her words against her. No, it wasn't true that she overlooked her friendship with Yukina and Eli in order to please Shinjiro, and yes, they were her friends and family. But sometimes as Guardians, you just have to follow orders that you might not agree with. Shinjiro probably knew that they would want to run after Eli and Yukina as well, and that was why he told them to not go after them. Thinking about it further, Suzy thought that perhaps Yukina and Eli would prefer it to be that way, too. "I---" she began to speak, but then another voice piped up to respond to the freshman instead.

                                                                "Then leave."

Her head whipped to the side towards the Bible-thumping Guardian sitting in a nearby chair with, of course, a Bible in his hands. Staring at him, she wondered how and when the hell he got here. Did he come in while she was conversing with Aphrodite and Nanjo? If so, how come she didn't hear the door open? Or had he been here before all of them and was just lurking in the shadows the whole time, not saying anything until now? What a ninja priest you are, Dio. Listening to him speak, she scowled a little as he referred to her as a kangaroo. She still did not like being referred to as animals that jumped or hopped just because her power enabled her to have strong jumping skills. But listening further to Dio, he was right in that it was better that one person goes after Yukina than the whole team. After all, if they all went after Yukina, who would be here to conduct the Orientation in the first place? "Dio's right, Nanjo," she said. "I do consider Yukina and Eli my friends and family. They mean a lot to me. But as Dio said, if we, the current Guardian team, were to all go after them, who would be here to hold Pre-Guardian Training Orientation for you guys?"

Turning her head towards the door just as two more people came in, Suzy instantly recognized one of them to be Dion. Dion was someone she met at the Winter Ball, and whom had helped calm her down when she was fuming over her dress being ruined by fruit punch stains. As for the girl, she recognized her by face since she had seen her around campus a couple of times, but didn't know her name since they had never really talked. "Nice to see you, too, Dion. And no, like Dio said, you're not late at all!"

Jourichou’s praising words were definitely a spirit raiser for her but suddenly he began to assault the blond haired girl, Suzy if she is correct, with words? It was not Aphoridte’s place nor her right to meddle in their affairs but the poor girl was obliged to stay within the vicinity of the gym thus she was forced to listen to their exchange of heart felt and grief stricken words. The brunette had mounted her guns back into the holsters located on her thighs, without bowing the girl had easily slipped them in because the girl was too busy attempting to comprehend their conversation, the girl had nervously folded her arms upon her chest, and a curled finger would hide her peach lips from view. The lass began to shift her weight through her legs in every fragment of minutes, from a habit, this action and her very posture signified that the girl was worried and uncomfortable. There was a clawing desire in her heart to step in and silence the younger gent, of course, their relations and her status here chained her wishes down. No matter how this conversation got worse she shouldn’t bring her nose into other people’s business? But stopping them won’t hurt?

                                                                  "Couldn't?"

Widen blue eyes would follow after Suzy watching her very reaction he was beginning to acquire, this boy even when younger than them, was surely relentless? Letting out a hitched sigh in nervousness, Aphrodite had clamped her legs together and began to rub them as she watched this conversation to continue with the flying time

"It was unfortunate, but you could not... can not go stand by the side of your friends?"

Blinking those very widen hues, Aphoridte was stricken and impressed how mature his words were? Were all gifted children grown with such a persona, no matter how impressed she was, the girl began to grow worry about his past. Him to say such words meant that he favored such intimate relation, would there be a reason behind his love for friends and family? Yet again, her questions were shot down thus, the girl had her reverie broken as once again she was brought into reality only to hear the word nakama? Before the girl could ever flow away into her reverie those next words had thrown her off guard, the arm which was anchored on the other had fell beside her while her puckered lips constantly released puffs of moist air

"I do not understand how you can remain here knowing they are in danger. Is your friendship so easily overlooked in favour of pleasing your manager and school? Did you not become a Guardian because you wanted to protect the students of this school?"

Was this too much? This was definitely too much, the words were beginning to roll off her lips when a hidden individual had spoken first causing the whole room to turn their heads to the person, Aphrodite was beginning to grow wary of this whole ordeal. It was as if she had walked into a soap opera that her grandmamma used to watch…..of course, this affected her more than those useless dramas that made no sense at all, I mean like how is it possible for a dead person to only get a face implant, turned into a new person and then came to the girl saying he was a twin……..it’s all a bunch of random ideas mashed up together to create a ball of boredom!

Blinking her eyes, the brunette would whip her head to take notice of the new comers; they had grown immensely in the prior moment. It was as if the numbers just blew when the mysterious matter was brought up? For now, silence had devoured the group, everyone had spoken out their desires leaving a thick and eerie atmosphere settling in the air….chewing her lip, Aprhodite would open her mouth, hoping that her words could do some affect considering how weak and wavering they were

“I know I do not know what this matter stands on but wouldn’t it be more preferable that you ummm….settle this elsewhere?”

Gently lifting her small fingers off of the piano keys, Momoko listened as the last note lingered on for a few seconds before dissipating into the air. Then looking up at the clock on the music room wall, she saw that about 10 or so minutes had passed since she started playing, which wasn't that long ago. Actually it surprised her a little that that little time had passed. But as much as she wanted to play some more songs and pieces, her stomach wouldn't allow it and demanded she go and grab some dinner to eat. And so she got up from the piano bench and closed the lid back down before exiting the music room.

Catching sight of Haruma in the hallways on her way to the cafeteria, she blinked. What was her brother doing here? Wasn't he usually off work at this time? "'Niichan!" she called out to him as she approached him.

"Ah, Momo. Have you had dinner yet?" Haruma answered as he stopped to turn in her direction.

Momoko shook her head in response. "Mm-mm, not yet. I'm on my way to the cafeteria for that. But what are you doing here? I thought you're usually off work by now..."

"Ahaha, well y'see, I came here briefly to visit the nurse's office to see how Mr. Kodoux's doing, but I ended up getting roped up into doing some errand."

"...I see. Well, I should get to the cafeteria. I think if I stay and talk with you longer, my stomach will really start playing the song of its people in fortissimo."

                                          "Alright, have a good dinner."

With that said, the two siblings went their separate ways, with Momoko heading to the cafeteria and Haruma heading towards the nurse's office. Turning down a corner of the hallways, she soon found herself in front of the cafeteria entrance. Entering inside, she walked towards the food services area and picked up a tray, then loaded it with a bowl of miso soup, a bowl of plain white rice with some black sesame seeds on top, a small plate of boiled vegetables, and fried tofu. For drinks, she got a cup of green tea. Once she had gotten her food, she sat down at a vacant table. Bringing her hands together, she dipped her head and muttered, "Itadakimasu" before picking up a pair of chopsticks to begin eating
