The turnabout in disposition made Jesse wonder what he was even talking about. 'He said he was left...?' Deciding it was nothing of real importance, she watched critically as the boy shot a basket. It went through the hoop, swishing on the net. Her competitive edge was kicking in as she jogged to get the ball as it bounced back onto the floor after his basket. "Okay, Emmy. Don't care if you're not good at basketball, because with taking away my stolen basketball, you accepted my challenge. So, bring your A game." With that, the red head couldn't help but grin flirtatiously. This was good, she got to flirt and play a little basketball. She dribbled the ball as she went to the half court lines, ready to check the ball.

Sam's eyes lowered to his bare feet as Ian kissed him, causing him to blush tremendously. The heat of the sun, and the mortified warmth that the sudden realization had brought him was making Sam uncomfortable. Of course, he knew that Ian was a good looking boy, the sales clerks had always flirted with him, as did gas station workers and such, but he didn't expect them to be jealous of him. The brunet had not even considered this. Now as the skimpy bikini girl glared relentlessly at the tall boy, it was dawning on him.

"Guess so."
He mumbled, and pivoted to face the pool. The boy took a few steps back, studied the pool before him to check if it was safe and the deep end. Once he was sure, he ran forward, jumped near the edge of the pool, curled into a ball like shape, and broke the surface. The cool water ran through his hair, and felt amazing on his hot skin. The boy stayed underwater for a while, just swimming around on the bottom before pushing off the floor and resurfacing. Pushing his bangs back out of his face, Sammy flashed a happy smile at Ian. Remembering silly times before that, he floated on his back, and mimicked a crock before quickly going underwater again.

"I-I just wanted to shoot." He stammered back, but grinned, slipping off his windbreaker because the swishing of the light fabric was starting to annoy him. The black, red, and white tank beneath was revealed as the clothing was removed, and he stood opposite of her, waiting for the check.

She sent it to him and he returned it, and so began the battle. A good thirty minutes later... they were tied. At the pitiful score of four-four. It was kind of sad to see someone with his kind of muscle lose to her, but Emmunal never judged on appearance. He grinned at her and offered her a hand, not sweating at all. No matter how hard he worked, Emmunal never seemed to sweat. That didn't change the fact he needed deoderant - he was wearing it at the moment.

"Good game, Jesse."

It took a few moments before Ian finally sat on the edge of the pool and slid himself in. He wasn't sure what he had stood on the edge of the pool waiting for, but it hadn't came. He glanced around the pool, noting the occasional swimmers, before his eyes fell upon Sam. The barbie's eyes were still boring holes into the back of Ian's head, and he began to feel uncomfortable with her watching him the way she was. Was she really so desperate to be with him, even though they didn't know one thing about each other? She knew he liked boys. That was about it though. Growing tired of her intent stare, Ian decided it was time to give her something to look at.

He swam to the place where Sam would be coming up for air. Once the brunet resurfaced, Ian made his move. He threw his arms around Sam's neck, giving Sam a look that seemed to scream 'she's still staring.' A sly smirk formed across the shorter of the two's face, and he crashed his lips into Sam's. This time it was no innocent peck on the lips. It was a full kiss, and Ian found himself not wanting to pull away. Hopefully the other blond was getting an eyeful. Ian certainly hoped so,

"You’re still the one I run to,
The one that I belong to.
You’re still the one I want for life.
You’re still the one that I love,
The only one I dream of.
Still the one I kiss goodnight.”

Coming up for air, and being ambushed by your loving boyfriend was a shock for one Samson Joshua Searle. Using his feet to steer them into shallower water, it was difficult to pry himself away from Ian. It was a little like swimming properly in lanes. You wanted to keep on going, but the farther you went, the harder it got to breathe. As he continued to return the kiss Ian had initiated, he suddenly realized Barbie and other pool-goers could see them. With a final suddenly needy press of his lips against Ian's, the boy stood up to his full height. He looked at Ian intensely, slicked his bangs out of his face again, before blushing and disappearing off under the water.

A few moments later, he returned. The boy hugged Ian from behind, and whispered in his ear, "I can't do that yet, Ian. I might've grown up a little, but it's still hard. Love you though." And with those three words spoken, even if Ian could only hear them, he swam in a circle around Ian. He smiled at the blond, his face slightly faltering at Barbie, but with a weak attempt, he made a face at her that said, "Sorry, I came first. Get in line, dear." He was nice about it, but a small part of his expression was of pride. It was almost as if, "Yeah, my boyfriend's hot. Got a problem?"

Ian thought about it for a moment. He liked it better when Sam didn't think so much because when Sam thought a lot, things didn't go Ian's way. He would have been content to keep kissing Sam, all the way to the end of the pool. Of course, he knew how Sam was. Sam was shy, by far more shy than he himself was. He also realized it would be a while before they were on the same level, for Ian's level of comfort was much higher up than Sam's. But he knew they would get to that level eventually, and he couldn't wait until they did.

"Love you too," he finally replied, after the initial thoughts of everything had faded. He briefly wondered if Barbie was still watching, yet he didn't quite care enough to turn around.

The blond realized he didn't quite like how he was feeling at the moment, but he didn't know why he felt the way he did. So he decided to himself that he would liven his own mood. Reaching down into the water, Ian cupped his hand and sent a wave of water into the other male.

"Gotcha!" exclaimed the boy as he began to swim away.

"You’re still the one I run to,
The one that I belong to.

Sam was surprised, but only for a moment. A grin was brought to his lips, as he swam after the blond. With a few movements of his long arms, the boy had nearly caught up to Ian. He brought his arm near the surface and swept it in a half circle moment. It sent a tidal wave like splash to the blond, and the older of the two laughed.

It seemed so childish to be doing a splash battle, but the simple things brought Sam happiness far easier than something elaborate. The mere fact that Ian was back into his life and within a few feet of him cheered him up. It seemed so natural, but at the same time, he missed it so much. The boy was nothing but glad as he sent another splash Ian's way.

Ian felt the waves crash into his face. He had been used to it from all the times he spent out on the ocean. Laughing, he turned on his back and began to swim backwards.

"No fair! Your hands are bigger than mine!" The blond stopped swimming and floated (stood?) in front of Sam. He grabbed one of Sam's hands to make his point, "See the damn size difference?"

A child like grin came across his face as he sent a revenge wave in Sam's direction. Moments like these were meant to last forever, he thought to himself.

Sam blinked a few times. Wiping the water from his blue eyes, he looked at his palm, and then at Ian's. His was about three centimeters bigger than Ian's all about, so he had to admit: he did have somewhat of an advantage. The boy used such a thing when he used one hand to send water directly at Ian's face, and then again with the other hand to splash the side of the blond's face.

"Aye, Cap'n Ai, yee shouldn't mess with us crocks. We're bigger and will eat you like a codfish."
He grinned, mentioning a previous conversation. He wrinkled his nose, and bit the air as if he was a terrifying crocodile instead of silly boy in a pool.

Ian brushed a few strands of hair from his face which had clung to his skin when the waves crashed into his face. He grabbed for Sam's arms, keeping them both from splashing anymore. His eyes focused into Sam's for a moment. 'God, he's beautiful.' He smiled at the thought.

"Perhaps I like them crocks," he continued grinning, "There's this one in particular. I think I quite fancy him. He's tall, brown hair, amazing blue eyes. In a sense, completely perfect. Wouldn't happen to know him would you?"

The blond felt like a complete sap with the way he was talking to Sam. Somehow, he couldn't stop himself. For the first time in months, he was completely happy, truly and honestly happy. It was best day of the entire summer.

Cocking his head, he felt a smile toy about his lips. They twitched upwards as he fought to keep a straight expression. He made it an elaborate act of removing a hand from Ian's hold bringing it to his chin in mock-deep thought. "Perfect....Brown hair... Blue eyes?" He said slowly, wrinkling his brows. For a moment, he thought about suggesting his brother, Demetri as a joke, but soon realized that his eyes weren't blue.

Pretending to be exasperated, he slapped his hand softly through the water to rest at his side and the other he adjusted to hold Ian's hand as he pulled that one under the surface as well. He pretend to be innocent, pulling his best doe face he replied, "Nope. I only know of a silly, really tall one. Think that one'll do?"

Ian loved the way Sam joked about things. It was adorable, but Ian felt weird calling it adorable. He felt the water, cool to the touch, mixed with warmth from Sam's hand. He smiled at up at the boy, linking his spare hand with Sam's.

"Nobody else I'd want to be with."

It was the most honest thing he could think of to say, and every single word of it was true. He had spent the previous night with his other ex, and despite how close it seemed like they had been, Ian found he wasn't quite as happy as he was with Sam. He almost thought that Kyo had only been puppy love, and Sam was the real deal. However, this thought seemed rude. He didn't want to seem like he didn't care for Kyo. He did. Just not in the way he had before he met Sam.

Dayton Isaac. The better twin.

The boy laughed at her disappointment, and being the optimistic person he was, he said, "Oh, Miss Hei, even if this one is not good, perhaps the next rooms will be much better? Let us go find them." Dayton took her hand, smiling down at her trying to rub his good mood off on his companion. With a quick reference to his schedule, he saw that the room was just round the corner and then some. So the raven haired boy led the pair to the next classroom. The room 's door was closed and looked dark inside, and he raised his eyebrows in question, "Would you rather us check back later or try anyways?"

Day was a bit old fashioned, liked to ask the girl's opinion before doing anything. He preferred it his way, simply because he didn't want to miff anyone or rub them the wrong way. Although he was cautious, back home he had offended some because he didn't take notice of the subtle hints people gave him.

She grimaced, shaking her head in disagreement. In her opinion, it was an awful game. The girl played a bit softer on him than she normally would have, and only towards the end she realized that that was a mistake on her end. Trying not to appear too sore a loser, Jesse managed a smile back at the blond boy, and shook his hand halfheartedly. The redhead hated to lose. Whether it was in school, sports, relationships, anything, she just wasn't one to easily deal with defeat. This was a partial reason why she uttered the following sentence, "Sure. But you know, I'm gonna want a rematch."

The petite girl adjusted her cap to sit better on her head, staring up at the male. The outcome of the game turned her mood around. The Leong didn't feel much like flirting, and talked to Emmy like he was an old friend. Had she not wanted to show how badly she dealt with near-losses such as this one, she would have been in a much more foul mood.

He noticed how downhearted Jesse was and frowned as well. He wasn't big on sore losers - they drove him insane, and he'd meant many in his life that he hated - but at least she was trying not to be. "If we rematch, it'll have to be soccer." He stated with a smile, trying to cheer her up.

He decided to compliment her. "Y'know, you played really well. I haven't tied a game of basketball in God-knows-how-many games." That was the best he could get out - he was really good at compliments, but her scary demeanor was kind of affecting his ability to hand them out. So he just smiled and then glanced to the side. ".. W-what are you majoring in?" It was a beginner's question, but he wanted to distract her from the fact she'd just tied with a boy who was two years younger and three inches taller. Both of them were short, sadly..
