[Bellatrix Raven Ja‘Dore]
Bella was slightly confused even when the girl left, and then after waiting for at least thirty minutes for Damien to say something she got up and left. She left her things in the room knowing she would be back in a few hours. But right now..She had a hair appointment. Bella loved getting her hair done, especially if she was getting a drastic change and today she was. She was getting rid of her blonde sun burst and going all black, and she was getting some extensions and maybe a weave for length. Bella also had decided to take out her nose piercing, it had been getting on her nerves lately, and she knew that being a CSI she wouldn’t be able to wear one on the job. So she was going to her the other side of her lip pierced today to make up for it. To a normal person her logic wouldn’t make any sense but to her it was a burst of creative genius.
Bella walked back to her dorm, grabbed up her purse and started down towards the hair salon with a big smile on her face.
It being such a nice day she thought it best if she walked instead of hitching a ride with some old man who she didn’t know. The walk was nice and it wasn’t to far to the little town that had the train station in it. Getting a little lost Bella roamed the streets ducking into random clothing stores and by the time she found the hair salon she had her arms full of bags from a punk store called ’Junkman’s Daughter’. Bella pushed the door open with her foot, and walked in to the dimly lit room. The smell of acrylic nail polish, melted wax, hair dye, and burning flat irons attacked her senses making her eyes water and her nose burn. Bella just shook her head and walked over to the front desk, the girl at the counter had star tattoos on the side of her face and she had hair that was similar to Bella’s, and on her name tag it read ’Erie’. Bella smiled as she addressed the girl and told her she had an appointment. Erie was smacking loudly on a large cube of pink bubble gum, and she looked up at Bella with very cold eyes ’In the back and to the left.’ The girl motioned to the back, and Bella followed the motion with a surprised look on her face. When she finally reached the back room, there was a women with long black hair who was also chewing rather loudly on a piece of pink bubble yum. Bella sat down in the chair, and told the women what she wanted.
The women worked in silence, not talking, just working. She cut and , rolled Bella’s hair into tin foil, and sowed the weave into the root of Bella’s hair. The whole process was painful and long , and gave Bella some burns on the back of her neck, also getting the weave in her hair made her scalp bleed slightly.
The women who went by the name of ’Stone’, asked Bella if she would like her makeup done. Bella hadn’t had a full make over in a while and thought ’What the hell, why not.” So Bella let Stone do her makeup. The hair dresser, put a lot less foundation on Bella’s face, which made her look more tan than she normally did. She also did her eyebrows, put on a nice smooth coat of eyeliner, and lots of mascara. Bella was handed a mirror and she gasped. She looked so different, she wasn’t pale anymore, her deep black hair made her look more natural. She loved it, while she was there she decided to go all out. She got her nails done, they were painted white with a little red and black heart in the center. After paying the bill for her beautification, Bella went to the bathroom and changed into her new favorite outfit, which consisted of black three inch heels, with new dark denim skinny jeans, and sky blue tube top. She put on some white hoop ear rings, a black X necklace, and a necklace with a little pink bear on it and in her hair she clipped a pink bow with black polka-dots. She walked from the salon, after scheduling her next hair appointment.
Bella had a new burst of confidence, so instead of getting a new piercings why not a new tattoo? She had four already but she wanted to get a nice big one this time, her other ones were small and couldn’t be seen unless she took off all her clothes. She decided to get one on her side, that would show when she wore bathing suits or if she wore shirt that showed her stomach. Bella entered the tattoo shop. She went up the manager who happened to be at the front desk, and asked for a music tattoo. She knew she could trust this guy with the design of her tattoo, because she saw his work all around the shop. He nodded and after around thirty minutes of sketching he came up with a nice design. Bella went to the back and took off her shirt, she wrapped herself in a towel that had been given to her before walking back to the artists tattooing station. She let her right side show, as she stood up and let the man tattoo her side.
After two or three hours of outlining, then another three hours of shading, Bella had gotten her tattoo. Bella went to look at it in the mirror, again she loved it. She knew the redness would go away soon, and after she was done looking at it the man put a piece of gauze over it. Bella pulled her shirt back on, paid, and walked out the door. Today had been a good day, she had gotten a makeover, a new wardrobe, and a tattoo. She hailed a taxi and rode back to the school, she had two arms full of bags, as she walked up to her dorm. Bella dumped, her things down on her bed, and winced. Her skin was tender around her tattoo but it was worth it. Bella, after putting away all her new things, walked from her dorm a big smile on her face. Most people wouldn't reconize her, but her perfect smile gave her away.
