ayame smiled down at demetri - her new boyfriend, as far as she could tell. she figured he'd liked the kiss, judging by the look on his face. vaguely she wondered what the look on her older brother's face would be when she returned to the school hand in hand with this adorable boy. she grinned at the idea.

"hmm.. i think i liked that."

she barely gave demetri time to contemplate what she'd just said before she lowered herself back down and kissed him again, longer this time. she closed her eyes this time, too, savoring the moment more than the last one. people always said that the first kiss is amazing, but the second is like fireworks. boy were they right.

Damien had almost forgotten what he was going to look for earlier that day. The music room, and with that thought he remembered Zander's offer of help. "Hey Zander, I just remembered I could use your help with finding something.." He removed the hood from atop his head and brushed down some of the hair that got brought up by the removal of his hood. The now flattened black and pink hair falling down into its usual placement.

With his hair in order he finished his earlier statement. "I was wondering if you could show me where the music room is, I haven't been able to find it own my own yet.." He felt like such a freshman. Which was a tad odd seeing as he was just that.

I feel my world shake

Demetri felt awkward not being able to grab her and pull her closer. He wanted to wrap his arms around her and pull her into his lap. He wanted to be able to move without feeling like he was going to pass out. He managed to push her away lightly with his left arm, feeling defeated by his injuries. Kissing her had felt nice, but it hurt at the same time due to his collarbone.

"I'm sorry," he said, giving the girl a sad smirk, "My collarbone, shoulder, entire body hurts."

He felt like an idiot for saying that and hoped the girl would understand.

Zander grinned at Elijah, telling the boy his dorm number and to come find him later. That Elijah guy was cute. A quiet type too. Zander was interested to say the least. He began leading the way towards the music room.

"Hall three," he mumbled, walking through the halls, jamming his hands into his pockets. He felt like a tour guide, which he wasn't sure if it was bad or not. The raven-haired boy pushed open a door, revealing the music room. He walked into it, falling into one of the couches.

"Music room," said the boy, stretching out on the couch.

"it's okay.. i understand."

she was a bit sad that they couldn't keep kissing - it felt so nice - but she decided that they could settle for cuddling for now. gently, ever so gently, she moved demetri over a bit father on the bed to give them each equal space. she didn't exactly want to fall off the bed if she fell asleep. smiling contently, she curled up a bit against him, her hand still locked in his. she nuzzled her head up against his as best she could without her neck brace digging into his shoulder. it would probably be excruciatingly painful for her once the medications wore off, but she'd worry about that when it happened. for now, she was content. she smiled, and lay her free arm across the two of them. her eyelids drooped. there must have been some kind of sedative in the medications, because suddenly she was very tired.

Damien entered the music room with a small sigh. He was pretty sure he was going to be spending a lot of time in here. Being in places like this often got him excited. But his excitement was cut short when he realized he forgot his guitar. He cursed under his breath, "I knew I should have kept that thing with me.." he muttered to himself. Being so caught up in his own thoughts he had nearly forgot about his guide. Turning to face Zander who seemed less than happy about being here.

Not being someone who enjoys boredom Damien sat on a couch near where Zander was sitting. "So is this place as cracked up as people say?.." He spoke trying to strike up a conversation. He ran a hand through his hair, revealing his other eye. Holding the hair out of his eye for a moment so it could adjust to the light. Often times if he left it behind his hair for to long his vision in that eye would go blurry.

Demetri's eyes fell upon Ayame's free arm. He looked at his own right arm, contemplating how much movement would be too much for his shoulder. The bottom portion of his arm was okay, slightly bruised and sore from the dashboard impact, but okay nonetheless. He reached down as far as the sling/cast would allow him and rested his hand ontop of hers, making circles on it with his thumb. He looked over at Ayame, realizing she looked tired. Perhaps the sedatives had set in on her. He could feel them slightly, but he didn't care at the moment. He was content with the way he was, minus the injuries.

"Say, Ayame, when we get out of this place, we should really look into getting you a new car. An anti-emobile," he said, grinning, "You know, one that won't try to kill itself?"

ayame nuzzled her nose closer to his neck, as close as hers would allow. she smiled when she felt his hand rubbing hers. it was so soothing, and she was so tired. she closed her eyes and relaxed a bit.

"mm, yeah. that'd be good."

she mumbled most of that sentence, particularly because she was tired, but also because her face was buried in demetri's neck. she wanted to sleep so bad, but she didn't want to leave demetri laying there with her kind of immobilizing him. gently she kissed his neck from the side. it was a quick kiss, nothing lasting. just a little thing to let him know that she was awake still. that probably wouldn't last long, though. the sedatives were starting to take a stronger effect on her.

Zander folded his arms behind his head and stared up at the ceiling. He thought about Damien's question. Was it all it had been cracked up to be? Perhaps. He was happy here for the most part. The education was great. There were things that he could have done without. For instance, the young male who had graduated last year by the name of Zane. Sighing, he weighed the pros and cons of Emerlie.

Finally he replied, "I guess so. Depends on which aspects of Emerlie you look at. Education-wise, it's the best. Social-wise, it could be better."

He wished for a moment he had brought his own guitar, his own violin. Even his clarinet would do at the moment. The music room gave him odd urges to play music. Though, that was its purpose.

Damien had been a little concerned about the education this place had to offer. He'd need a place that had a lot to offer if he was to get the job he wanted. Thinking about that brought him back to music which in turn made him a little more angry for not bringing his guitar. He finally stood up, "Okay I can't take it..I'm getting my guitar." He looked over his shoulder at his companion, "You play anything?.."

Damien had been hoping to meet someone who had musical talent here. It would definitely brighten up this so far dull day. And to top of his annoyance at himself he was starting to crave a cigarette. He sure as hell wasn't about to start that up again/

Demetri felt Ayame's lip pressed against his neck for a split moment. He closed his eyes, enjoying the moment for the split second it lasted. He continued making circles on her hand. It was one of the few motions he could with his right hand. Once more, he was glad he was left handed. Otherwise, school would be hell. Even though, thinking about it for a moment, the beginning of school would be hell. At least until his collarbone healed. The brunette doubted the doctor would let him start classes when he was supposed to, and he dreaded getting behind.

"Some day, huh?" he said, trying to keep the conversation from fading with the effects of medication beginning to work, "Got a girlfriend, got hit by a car. Win, lose situations. Life's crazy." Demetri was talking slightly outside of himself, but he figured it was because of the medications he was on. Hospitals had strong medications.

kyoshi laughed.

"no popsicle? not even if we went to the kitchen and begged?"

he started walking in the direction he hoped was the kitchen. he would get ian his popsicle, if it was the last thing he did. he owed ian that much. after all, ian never did get his last popsicle. vaguely he wondered where his sister had gotten to. he saw her big bubble machine and the school's boombox on the steps to the administration building, but saw no car. he thought about maybe calling her, but decided not to. she was probably off having fun somewhere, and he had butted into her life enough. instead, he focused on ian. being entirely honest with himself, he still loved the boy. what was not to love about him?

Ian let his arm fall from Kyo's, only to lock his fingers with the other male's. He knew he probably shouldn't be doing it. He knew it might break what small bit of friendship that had survived the fall out. However, none of it mattered because at the moment, he had Kyo. He had somebody that at one point loved him. He felt oddly content.

"We don't have to have popsicles," he said, smiling at Kyo, "It was just the first thing that came to mind."

He thought about his first date with Kyo. The pair had gone to a coffee shop for breakfast after falling asleep under the stars. Ian had even posed as a girl to keep the fangirls from realizing the two were together. They soon found out. Not that Ian had cared.

"I'm just glad you're here." The blond couldn't quite pinpoint why he said it. He had meant it though. He had missed the boy.
