Why do anime fans hate Disney so much?

I just don't get it. What has Disney done to deserve the hate of anime fans? What anime have they ruined in the past to deserve such hate? The only dubs I know that were done by Disney are the Studio Ghibli films from the past ten years and while not perfect (No dub is) they are very good solid and loyal dubs. Besides that Disney has never touched or ruined anime, never had their hands on anime.

Sure they ripped off anime a few times with "Hamlet the yello lion" (Lion King) and "Antlantis" but so do other animation studios all the time. Hell studios rip off Disney all the time. Look at the Titanic animated movie.

Is anime fan's hatrid toward Disney really about Hanna Montana, High School musical and other Tinybooper crap from the Disney Channel? If so that makes the hate even more redicoulus as in five years none of those will even be remembered by Disney. Disney Channel fads have very short life spans. Besides none of those have anything to do with anime so it makes no sense that they are why Anime fans hate Disney.

No I mean Hamlet the Yellow Lion. Lion King is basicly a mix of Shakespears Hamlet and Kimba the white Lion. Anime fans tend to ignore the obvous Hamlet elements though.

I've been watching the Lion King ever since I was a kid (and before I knew what anime was), and I never noticed the Hamlet elements. o_o (probably because I've never actually read Hamlet)

But if it was not for Disney we would not even have anime today. It was Walt Disney and his animation that inspired early Japanese future animators after world war two and inspired them to create the anime you love today.

I like Disney but the newer stuff i don't like that much I just change the channel. Now in the day time cartoon network has one cartoon I hate the marlous adventures of flap jack. They ruin everything they sponsor. Honestly, I used to love Disney. Now since it's ruining Naruto (one of my first animes I watched) now I'm angry. I don't even have the channel, nor do I want to. There going to edit it and ruin it. I'm writing in caps because I need to get my point across. Pretty much everything's gonna be changed, and Naruto really deserves to be on Adult Swim, where it belongs. It's going to attract even MORE Naruto noobs if it goes on Disney.

Can I have some examples of Hos Disney ruined the Studio Ghibli movies please. Sorry but your claiming they ruin everything with no back up. You say they will ruin Naruto with no evidence of what they ruined in the past to back it up.

Yes it will be edited but no more edited then Naruto was on Toonami. It even has the same rating PG-V

Oh and because Disney Xd is a extra channel, one people have to pay extra money to get it actually won't create that many Naruto noobs. Disney XD is in 25% less homes then Cartoon Network and like thirty five percent less homes then Disney Channel and Nick. It actually won't create a new legion of noobs. Yes there will be a few but not as many.

besides the reason why Disney Picked up Naruto Shippuden is NOT for new fans, it's for the existing fans. THAT IS WHY Disney wants to please. They want to please the people who watched Naruto on Toonami and to do that they need to keep the dub of Shippuden at the same level. If they edit it more then that they will piss off the very people they are trying to plase and they will screw themselves.

It is in Disney's Best Interest to treat Naruto with respect and that is why they won't ruin Naruto.

Of course they are going to edit Naruto. It is being shown of television. Every show that is aired on tv is edited. Why should Naruto be any different? They are not, however, going to change everything. The rating is going to be PG-V, the same rating it got on Toonami.

Since Naruto was one of your first anime, you don't know what a hack dub is. I used to watch Sailor Moon, Voltron, Speed Racer, and Cardcaptors as a kid. The tv dub of Naruto will be nowhere as near as badly dubbed or edited as they were.

You really want Naruto on AS? They'll treat it like s**t and put it in a death slot.

It would attract MORE Narutards if it was on AS because more people have AS than Disney XD.
