Why do anime fans hate Disney so much?

I agree with the first part and don't understand why the second part is so hard.

Disney and anime goes together like bread and butter, Peanut Butter and Jelly, Tom and Jerry, Fighter and Blackmages dagger, Mike and your mom, and millions more.

i feel like i get it now.. i personally love reading and like hearing diffrent lagueses sens english is my second and i actully seen/heard enough anime to reconise what they are yelling/talking to some what point i learn alot while reading tv as you said. and i understand the words they are saying much better. for me everything that ive seen that i genuly love has been whit subs even disney and movies not animated.so thats why i like it so much. and to be hounest i havent thought on it like reading tv. so...it wont change my mind i will never watch a anime dubb but i can respect that you do and understand it

A lot of Disney movies are cartoons and they had some shows that where cartoon. I don't see why they can't have Japanese cartoons.}}

Unfortunately the reason you gave is the answer. Whenever I see anyone complain about Disney their reasons always seem to mention Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers.

Yeah, pretty much. Which is unfortunate because other than that, Disney's put out a lot of great stuff.

Most of their animated work is excellent, so I see no reason for all the doomsaying.

first of all,I think you are overreacting...people are aloud to hate what they want and are going to,no matter what you say or try to tell them...it's life...second,I'm a hardcore Disney fan,and am having my honeymoon there next may...don't lump all anime fans together...and I hate Naruto,Bleach and most of the dubbed s**t that gets played in America...if I can get it subbed I will...all of these companies have butchered their translations and such....anyway...I suggest you move on...they deserve more hate than Disney....*ahem* I'm done now...sorry I even got a little off topic

I just don't get it. What has Disney done to deserve the hate of anime fans? What anime have they ruined in the past to deserve such hate? The only dubs I know that were done by Disney are the Studio Ghibli films from the past ten years and while not perfect (No dub is) they are very good solid and loyal dubs. Besides that Disney has never touched or ruined anime, never had their hands on anime.

Sure they ripped off anime a few times with "Hamlet the yello lion" (Lion King) and "Antlantis" but so do other animation studios all the time. Hell studios rip off Disney all the time. Look at the Titanic animated movie.

Is anime fan's hatrid toward Disney really about Hanna Montana, High School musical and other Tinybooper crap from the Disney Channel? If so that makes the hate even more redicoulus as in five years none of those will even be remembered by Disney. Disney Channel fads have very short life spans. Besides none of those have anything to do with anime so it makes no sense that they are why Anime fans hate Disney.

So I simply must know, Anime fans what has Disney done to deserve yout hate?
