Why do anime fans hate Disney so much?

there are a lot of reasons 4 that.... like the fact they took the broadcasting rights of Naruto and they are not doing such a reasonable job with Ghibli films either. I hate it 4 those reasons but I do like their classic movies.

First off why hate Disney for airing Naruto Shippuden. They were the only channel that bid on Naruto. If not for Disney Xd Naruto Shippuden would not have a TV deal at all. Cartoon Network was too busy spending their money on Star Wars, Live action, and live action star Wars to even glance at the airing rights for Naruto Shippuden ot ANY anime.

As for The Ghibli movies, what is wrong with their job on them? Now I realize no everyone has to like the same dubs but I LOVE Disney's Ghibli dubs. They tend to have great dubs and great translations in my opinion, and are treated with a lot of respect. i mean the ads for Ponyo just ozzed with respect for Miyazaki, calling him one of the greatest film makers of his time and other things like that.

Sorry but your reasons really don't seem like real reasons sadly.

Sephyn The problem with that is those reasons don't justify that they will butcher Naruto or anime in general, or that they will butcher Marvel. People claim there is evidence that they will, that disney "ALWAYS" butchers things but there is no evidence.

Also what you hate is not current Disney it's current Disney channel. Disney Channel does not represent Disney as a whole and it saddens me when people act like it does. I hate current disney Channel too but they again I have ALWAYS hated the channel Disney Channel. Disney Channel is NOT Disney.

Disney did not Steal Naruto from Cartoon Network. Cartoon Network screwed over Naruto, and anime fans in general.

Lets look at things.
1: Cartoon Network killed Toonami on September 20th 2008
2: Around April 2008 Naruto left the main shcedual of Cartoon Network with only ten episodes before it was completed and NEVER returned,
3: Cartoon Network started airing live action crap on their channel, stuff so bad it makes hanna montana look decent.
4: Any new cartoon with a few exception premere on Cartoon Network at horrible times and are doomed to fail, while their Live action Crap is given prime time spots.
5: When bidding on Third party shows rumor has it that Cartoon network did not even make a bid on Naruto Shippuden. No the rumor is they spent all their money on a Live action Star Wars show.

Conclusion: Cartoon Network is screwing over not only anime fans but animation fans in general and yet DISNEY are the bad guys? Dis Disney make Cartoon network kill Toonami? NO. Did Disney make Cartoon Network focus on reality shows? NO. Did Disney make Cartoon Network cancel naruto Ten episodes before it ended NO THEY DID NOT.

This is what saddens me. Who screwed up here? Cartoon Network. Who is cleaning up the mess and trying to please anime fans? Disney. So why is Disney getting more hate then cartoon network?

Cartoon network messed up and is on a self destructive path. Meanwhile Disney is determained to make their male orriented channel a success.

Shouldn't we be supporting the people that are trying to please us?

Yes we should. We should be happy Naruto picked up Naruto Shippuden We should be happy they proved to us that TV anime is not dead yet, that someone will pick up the slack when others screw up. THANK YOU DISNEY.

Disney may have some crap on it but it still has no reason to be hated, but puting JBrothers, cory in the house, even stevens and zeck and luther burning_eyes on Toon Disney was horrible but Naruto blaugh makes up for it.

Like I said, people who hate Disney always seem to mention Miley Cyrus and the Jonas Brothers. Even though they aren't actually in that much. Other than Hannah Montana the only noteworthy thing Miley Cyrus has been it was Bolt and she did a decent job in that film.

Actually I think it's the actors making the choice to sing. Disney are nice enough to provide their stars with materials they need for their singing carers.

They aren't replacing anything. Disney have been airing live action teen sitcoms for years, it's just these are the ones airing now.

Actually classic Disney is still a big deal. Disney have been releasing DVDs of the classics. These Disney Channel stars are only on the Disney Channel, apart from spin-off shows that ended long before the current line up started the Disney Channel wasn't really the most likely place to see classic Disney.

All your problems only apply to the Disney Channel.

I think I know why...you remember the Power Rangers series? Well after Disney bought it up along with a lot of other semi reality shows they just ruined them all. Made it more about people but just screwed up from the beginning.

You would have a point if any power Rangers series but the original was any good. Yes the ones Disney made were crap byt so was every pre Disney season after Mighty Morphin Power Rangers. Besides Disney even keeps their name off the Power Rangers brand as a way to keep it closer to before they bought it. Oh and you know they plan on releasing a remastered version of the original Power Rangers next year.

Yeah it really has not gone down hill since Disney bought it it just has not gone uphill ether. Power Rangers is stagnet and that is not Disney's fualt, it would have happened regardless.

I don't hate disney. neutral I grew up with it. I love anime too. Do I like hannah montanna hell no but that doesn't mean I'll hate disney. People forget that disney's target is younger kids not teens so of course we're ot going to like everything they make. Some otakus need to take a chill pill and think for a moment and realize they're not the center of the universe. Also I agree Cartoon Network sucks now. They don't even have any good cartoons anymore and have all most all of them aren't made by them but someone else. A lot of the things they show are Canadian now what the hell?
