Why do anime fans hate Disney so much?

I just don't get it. What has Disney done to deserve the hate of anime fans? What anime have they ruined in the past to deserve such hate? The only dubs I know that were done by Disney are the Studio Ghibli films from the past ten years and while not perfect (No dub is) they are very good solid and loyal dubs. Besides that Disney has never touched or ruined anime, never had their hands on anime.

Sure they ripped off anime a few times with "Hamlet the yello lion" (Lion King) and "Antlantis" but so do other animation studios all the time. Hell studios rip off Disney all the time. Look at the Titanic animated movie.

Is anime fan's hatrid toward Disney really about Hanna Montana, High School musical and other Tinybooper crap from the Disney Channel? If so that makes the hate even more redicoulus as in five years none of those will even be remembered by Disney. Disney Channel fads have very short life spans. Besides none of those have anything to do with anime so it makes no sense that they are why Anime fans hate Disney.

So I simply must know, Anime fans what has Disney done to deserve yout hate?

Unfortunately the reason you gave is the answer. Whenever I see anyone complain about Disney their reasons always seem to mention Hannah Montana and the Jonas Brothers.

And to be honest if thats why anime fans hate Disney as a whole it's a dumb reason.

Whats funny is Cartoon network is airing WORSE things then that and are not getting as much hate by anime fans. Abd cartoon Network screwed them over.

What feed the hand that bites you (Cartoon Network) and bite the hand that feeds you(Disney)? Anime fans need a reality check.

People like and dislikes many different things and I personally don't care if someone Dislike Disney nor can I answer for other anime fans (doubt their hate is anime related so I don't see why it matters that they are anime fans or not).

there are a lot of reasons 4 that.... like the fact they took the broadcasting rights of Naruto and they are not doing such a reasonable job with Ghibli films either. I hate it 4 those reasons but I do like their classic movies.

Miley Cyrus
Jonas Brothers
Forcing most of their current actors to sing. Horribly, too.
Replacing Disney classics and characters with "shows that appeal to teens."


The only times you'll see classic Disney characters are on merchandise being sold.

thoguht it may be a little strange why we are angry is simple they have bought a little more then they could handle in our eyes. They took naruto from toonami( which probably why most people hate it right now) They bought marvel (making many comic enthusiasts very unhappy). But probably the main reason we hate it it is out of fear we dont know how they will change our farovite anime or comic books. Naruto probably wont have blood anymore (unless uncut box sets) Marvel will proaably be more kid friendly with farovites like deadpool. it just a little too much to handle

Classic Disney I love, Lion King was always my favourite~ <3 I hear Toy Story 3 is coming out. o:

But yeah, Sephyn said about replacing classics with shows that appeal to teens which I agree with. Disney should stay Disney.

2) Their not making you watch/hear their shows/singing
3)Thats one part of Disney. They got shows that appeal to kids, toddlers, teens, etc...
They got Disney XD, Playhouse Disney, and Disney channel. Theres not just one Disney. }}

{{Toonami is dead and is not coming back. Cartoon Network doesn't want Naruto. They rather show their crap. Naruto is still being dubbed by the same company. It well be as it would as if Toonami was still alive and was dubbing it. Maybe you should see what they do to it instead of complaining about something that you have no idea about. }}
