my reasoning? while his sexuality isn't clear in the series he IS a fox spirit. in all Asian mythology fox spirits seem to be rather vague in both gender and sexual prefrence. this well explains the feminine qualities he has and can be taken a step further to mean he is bi as well.

1. Kuronue and Youko were like brothers. You'd grieve too if ur brother was killed for the sake of saving you. Sure, Kurama does grieve for him. there's no solid proof either way, except we do have the mangaka saying that none of the Kurama/Hiei stuff a lot of fans read in to the series was not intentional. granted, the mangaka also said "go ahead and read what you want into it" when the whole Kurama/Hiei thing got pointed out to him. but that still leaves it as unintentional and non-canon.
